Well I think he's a better world champion than Moose, but I still put Moose up there, behind Mark Henry but in that same general vicinity of Booker and Big E. And I realize you love Book, and I love Book too, I just can't say I liked King Booker as much as Swerve and Hall of Pain Henry.
That’s fair.
I personally think it’s far too early to judge swerve’s title reign if we’re specifically talking about the reign because I haven’t seen too many stories with him that I’ve cared too much about. He had the patriarchy thing that lingered from before, but then he just had basically a match with Will osprey. And now they’re not even doing the Hangman one, so I have to see what they plan to do with him in Danielson, and whether or not he even retains or loses there. For me, of course.
As for Booker T it’s hard if you’re talking about reigns because he kind of got fucked by booking in both WCW and the WWE, as far as having like a long run with any singular belt, but that being said if we’re talking about like the actual wrestler and champion, I don’t think there’s a better black world champion than Booker T. His character and charisma. His ability to tell a story and his wrestling was absolutely fucking top notch, especially for the time. I think if the WWE didn’t have their head so far up your ass, especially when it came to putting belt on Black people. He would’ve won the proper WWE championship and he would’ve did it by 2003 and had at least three runs with it. Still, I loved him WCW. And if you combined his five runs between 2000-2001 into a single period he was champion, it’s not too shabby and that’s my vote.
