I still don’t see why they helped Joe win. I imagine it’s an audible choice once Cole got hurt, but it doesn’t make much sense to me at the moment for a storyline or a logic standpoint.

Seemed to me like Cole became more obsessed with tearing down MJF than the title after the injury, like an "well if I can't have it then he definitely can't either"

Their goal was to break MJF and worry about titles later. I see it as they saw a chance to destroy him sooner and went with it (so yeah pivot due to the injury)

It was a partnership early on and an ends to a mean for both parties

Cole kept urging MJF to trust Joe and Joe sold the fuck out of being against the devil and his men.

Yeah I believe the kayfabe timeline is Joe didn't become involved with Cole until after Cole's injury anyway bc Joe said he was committed in revenge after MJF win at Grand Slam which was the night Cole got hurt

Oh, I get the storyline and how they presented it but I just don’t think from a logical standpoint. It makes much sense when now the stated goals for Warlow to get the belt but now they would have to take it from Samoa Joe, when they could’ve just had Wardlow beat MJF for it.

Also I don’t believe Joe will be champ by the time they get to Wardlow challenging for it

I would assume not because you definitely would want a strong baby face in the role but as they’re making that speech, though they believe Joe is the guy who’s got the belt, so it’s just it’s just a weird angle that I’m not completely getting that maybe they win me over when I see what they do with Joe next.

Either way, though, I’m completely stoked for the undisputed kingdom storyline.

Still could be a heel champion. I’d not be shocked if Swerve got next. But hell at the same time, dude probably gets a face turn. Fans love him, he’s getting cheered, so it’s only a matter of time

I don’t see a face turn as he’s just to vicious..

My guess is Swerve beats Joe in a few months then Hangman is the one to beat swerve not sure who Wardlow will face for it but I don’t think he gets it either way tbh…Jay White would be my next after Hanger then he & Cole can reignite their rivalry
