Unpopular Opinion I'm starting to develop: Wardlow wasn't ready and hasn't been interesting since MJF. some of it is booking, some of it is mjf fucking over the angle but some of it is that while hes over with the crowd...I don't think he's that compelling of a character and pretty mediocre talker. was GLARINGLY obvious when besides Joe he's a bit of a 1 trick pony

edit: I still think he can be salvaged but something is missing

90% of it is booking. You don’t go from the hottest angle he had to working Mark fucking Sterling and his group of geeks.

Is he green? Yes. Green guys still get over. You just have to book them correctly. Hell look at Braun Strowman.

Fact is, TK had a plan for the MJF angle. He didn’t have a plan for what happened next.

Before RUSH came in, El Ídolo was really only seen in backstage segments

Hell, the best tag team in the world struggles to get tag matches on a regular basis.

Yeah Jay Lethal was really only off TV or only on YouTube for the first 3 months or so, once he turned heel the internet did a quick 180 and has been complaining about him on Dynamite and feuding with everyone since April lol

in fact I think FTR have only missed the latest aew ppv but are on this weekend. I think people sometimes confuse "thats not what i wanted" with "they are booked badly". they were also suppose to go on a run with Punk but he hurt his foot then ran his mouth the second time. I know its frustrating and tk is bad at adapting but again, still feel like context matters. you also had jeff hardy ruining an entire angle too that was likely setting up another ftr bucks match
