and to be fair, the whole dont bring in top guys argument happens to everyone. lots of triple h's new hires arent exactly lighting the world on fire (kross is cold af for example) . So in that sense I think promoters cant help themselves when talent is available.

I do agree he needed a better plan with Punk. For one thing, a face vs face with hanger was not really the best idea. could have just had Punk vs Danielson before Hangman feud to extend Hangman's reign. Punk can turn heel there or show some signs of, then turns full heel on hangman. then you can do punk vs mjf with alignments reversed. there was certainly better ways to go about it.

Should have just got the Elite to book it, they booked Hangmans 2 year plan lol
