Very much looking forward to The Acclaimed vs. FTR. Would we be surprised if we get a rare title change on Dynamite or do we think shenanigans?

I personally would be fine with the former as don't think The Acclaimed need the titles.

timing, I don't think anyone expected AEW to sign Punk and for him to be in the company as the same time as Hangmans ascencion. it then became Punk's story to go win the belt instead of Hangmans story. Tony tried to do two things at the same time and Hangman's reign suffered perception wise imo. its unfortunate because it was all bangers hanger during his reign.

Can’t do that. He was the biggest draw. People criticize RAW for having Lashley or Rollins go after the US title but that only works because there’s no World Championship on that show. Punk had to go after the main belt.

That’s on TK. There should’ve been a better plan. He’s killed babyfaces when they’re at their hottest.

Wardlow is a great example of someone that was cooled off by bad booking. HOOK disappeared and doesn’t get talked about anymore. We’ve talked about FTR, but when Dax is doing Indy shows and saying “Hey Tony, we still work for you brother, book us” it’s not a good look.

Don’t bring in/create top guys if you don’t know what to do with them
