It's literally just the breaking of a scale that's the issue lol it makes 5 not mean shit anymore

Again, I'm not trying to take away from the match. It's the scale that's the problem. :lol

5 just means he thinks its a standardly very good excellent match. but its not the best, dont even think he knows what that is at this point. but if if u like similar things than him, its a pretty easy baseline to understand, imo

sammy pretty much the worst at no selling all the time but im giving hi ma pass cuz cody didnt sell shit either lol

Yeah, they both kinda went from spot to spot, and whilst I loved it. I can see why others have issue with that. Selling wise, there wasn't a lot in that match to be fair.

As far as I'm concerned, this match was a 3.5 anytime before 2018

But like what does it mean if he gives something 4.75, 5, or 5.25 on this scale? Those are now virtually identical to me now when 4.75 vs 5 meant something before

like no one would have a consistent scale (even if they didnt break it) without breakign consistency over 20 years so i think its best to just see it as 4+ is good 5+ is must see and the rest of the details are pretty subjective.

I always agree on his ratings when I compare them to the same show usually, so thats always been my rule. His highest rated match on a show usually my favorite, etc. Comparing show to show and company to company especially just ain't it tho

There's not even a cap on the current scale. It's just go as high as he feels like. So basically no number means anything. :lol Man could give a match a fucking 10 tomorrow and that would just be that

A lot of people honestly. And it's relevant enough that you shared that info.
