I want to reiterate once again, that punk is responsible for anytime he gets physical before I go into the rest of this.
I do agree with punk that Tony is probably a little too nice and naïve for certain aspects of his job, but hopefully he learned from this incident that as the boss there’s a couple of things he should do in the future:
If you have employees they’re getting into fights, possibly getting into fights or just having a like a really bad like feud, force them into arbitration and squash the beef.
Make sure there are harsh penalties for taking producer disagreements, and or rumors of getting employees fired or anything you know that would be applicable in the future and making sure they’re not airing that dirty laundry on live television.
And, lastly, if a hothead, who was again responsible for his own actions is telling you that they’re gonna fly off the handle unless you do something just simply tell him I’ll handle it later when I’m not at gorilla. Just indicate to him obviously that you’re working producing the show, but as long as you tell him that you’ll handle it and that he needs to go out for his match, theoretically he should understand that. I mean he’s obviously a hothead so who knows but I would assume that he would’ve been like OK you’re gonna handle this and I’ll go.
