The 150M number is apparently just the flat for Dynamite and Collision. I think (I can't verify this) the additional mentioned is an estimate of AEWs portion of the ad revenue for the shows

Yeah I feel like we become a little numb to these numbers when companies are making so much. But for some perspective, even the most absurd rumors of like Ospreay and Okada making 10M a year would barely be a portion of this. They can spend so fucking much on talent, though I think they're good there for now and should focus on some other things

production, marketing and merchandising should def all be expenditures I would focus on instead of talent acquisition. But I still see them making aggressive offers at upcoming Free Agents they lost out on before. You know how these billionaires are lol they never like to lose

It’s been five years and I still don’t know if there will be a place to watch their tape library in the US anytime soon. Telling me that shows streamed on Max will be available on demand doesn‘t answer anything about the last five years of shows. It’s 2024 and we still can’t watch a PPV or a Dynamite from the past somewhere? I hope we find out soon this is changing. It continues to be absurd.

The on demand stuff starts in January which I assume will be the old tv shows. If they make us pay for the PPVs from back in 2019/2020, then that's kinda a L on their part.

Live streaming the television shows is the coolest aspect of this deal for me (even with me having AEW plus on fite). Now all I need is SmackDown to stream live from Peacock to get all my needs met.

I’m wondering if max is getting past episodes of AEW?

I’m not too worried about PPV as I save a lot on Fite, but if max matches the international PPV price of $20 or less, I’ll order on Max.
