This is kind of why I’m worried about who actually does it. Because if they waste it on the wrong person, it’s a bust. Of those two, Cody is the only good choice. Not saying Bron isn’t good. Just he’s not ready yet, and not sure he will be ready in enough time for Roman to lose it.

Depends on when they want him to lose it. If it’s the Summer then it should definitely be Cody.

If they wanna wait til Mania, I definitely think it’ll be Baby Steiner. With as fast as he learns, he’ll be in a good place by then.

lashley is old, pass. how old is drew? he probably needs it the most but Im not convinced he can be that much more over with how they book babies.

thats probably the main issue, they have not built any credible faces that could run with the ball. Genuinely not really sure who I'd give the rub to now. its WAY too early from Bron and Theory is like, 4 years away at least.

Thats why I think they wont do it and Roman gonna be the guy for like...at least another 3-5 years

I still think even Mania would be to soon for him. At least for something that big. But meh. It is what it is.

Now let’s try to swing this back on topic. It’s nice to see I won’t be the only one cheering for Punk. A few weeks ago when the match was announced I felt I might be the only one

I’m not so much rooting for Punk as I am rooting against Hangman. I don’t think the experiment has worked as well as they initially thought it would.

IMO, in a perfect world, Punk has a transitional run; holds the belt for a month or two and drops it to MJF

Only problem I see with that is, if Punk wins i feel he cheats and turns heel to win. So unless they do heel v heel then not sure how well it works. But I guess I wouldn’t be against it either. So probably be better for Punk to fail and MJF getting the title off Hanger if your end game is MJF as champ.

Only downside to going Hangman/MJF is Hangman being Champion for a few more months.

Because you’re gonna have to heat MJF back up after Wardlow kills him a few times.

I mean true, but I got no problem myself with Hangman as champ, I’m just a Punk mark so that’s why I personally want him winning. But yeah for someone who doesn’t want him with it, I can understand your reasoning there.
