Maybe, it's not the best night for TV even in SmackDown's slot either but still better than Saturday I imagine.

Also to Nick's point, I 100% buy it bc I don't think they like doing Friday live at all, that was a concession to be on Fox for sure

The other thing too, is if SmackDown moves to Wednesday nights which they might because NXT is already on Tuesday dynamite would have to move to Friday. At that point, three hours of dynamite or move Rampage?

I don't think they'd move Dynamite in this scenario tbh at least not at first unless it gets destroyed

yeah and this is where I think Metlzer is dead wrong that AEW will struggle with ratings. Go look at the last few saturdays, all day, what the ratings look like AFTER the top slot. It's like fucking .15 demo in 2nd place on a 10 am sportcenter. even if they get beat by big saturday nights from UFC and live sports sometimes, if they get anywhere near the Dynamite demo, easy top 5 and quite frankly when there's no competition, probably an easy #1

I would not move Dynamite ever even if WWE try to counter program. Stand your ground. Also I don't think Nick Khan would consider that, theyd be taking away some of their own potential ratings that way

They might attempt to not move it because they were successful against NXT, but generally speaking every other time SmackDown moved whatever wrestling was on that night, then moved to whatever previously SmackDown was on. It’s just generally I would feel a good idea not to try to compete against SmackDown just considering I believe SmackDown is currently the highest rated program that E has.

Tuesday over Friday to beat NXT again would probably be better even if they did move and Tony did originally want Tuesday but it was TNT programming that called for Wednesday so on TBS it might be fine

I don't think it would change anything for dynamite. might lose 100k viewers at most. Id be willing to put money theyd get their 800k AEW die hard regardless , most of us don't watch WWE and if we do, we don't skip AEW for it . itll be the same shit that happened with NXT except WWE would finish higher, depending on their network
