At this point we're either getting the planned announcement next week or we're getting a "AEW has come to terms with the release of CM Punk" tweet tbh they can't do anymore back and forth this soon to the debut show

A decision one way or the other will be made for sure.

I’ll be surprised if someone doesn’t backdown before it comes to that tweet, but wrestlers are stupid as shit.

I’m fine with a little hold out, but if Tony holds firm on working from home, Punk needs to take it. It’s a great deal and if Punk says no deal, that’s it for him.

No point trying again if you ruin the show specifically designed to be your coming back party.

Most people are saying they've literally heard exact opposite things regarding Ace too which really doesn't happen that often. Even brawl out stuff when it was obviously from one side weren't completely contradictory

If ace is allowed backstage u lose the lockeroom, i just domt see how Punk doesnt have tgat foresight unless he just doesnt care. At soms point he needs to be a team player n if its gonna b a hold out everytime he wants something more u cant do business long term w a guy like that. Good point. I mean only a month ago Punk was visiting all the backstage venues of various other promotions. It feels like this is coming out of nowhere so hopefully it isn’t.
