Exactly. Botb Punk and Elite are making bank, and Elite are negotiating for even more money. If either side blew their bag over this, they’d be idiots.yeah I think for the most part, they are more concentrating on getting that bag right now, all 4 of them are in negotiations for extensions
Idk I don't remember the TNT sports schedule enough, might just be moved later in the night bc I think playoffs end a tad earlier on Saturdays and sundays than normal daysMost likely would be because those two channels did this with WCW. They want equal programming.
But, yeah, the exemptions are a killer.
Would it get moved to Sundays?
i am almost certain I read TBS but mb i am wrong. agree tho, tnt sucks , its too full of live stuff. dynamite has been way better off on tbs imo, been prempted like once last year iirc thats it
it for sure is overblown, SRS and Meltzer get record subs when they post about Punk drama. facts.Exactly. Botb Punk and Elite are making bank, and Elite are negotiating for even more money. If either side blew their bag over this, they’d be idiots.
Deezy is right about one thing about this. It’s been way overblown. Batista and Booker T had a nasty fight backstage one time and you’d barely know it onscreen because they continued to go to work like professionals. Shit happens in combat sports.
me and Zarian thinking the same way on this is niceIdk I don't remember the TNT sports schedule enough, might just be moved later in the night bc I think playoffs end a tad earlier on Saturdays and sundays than normal days
Zarian says he thinks TNT from what he's heard but feels like that wouldn't be the best move so he's questioning the source essentially without saying that explicitly lol cause he seems baffled by it
It’s possible attitudes have changed, but WCW was their strongest non sports related programming so they wanted it on both networks and moved them when a sports thing needed the slots.I actually think the opposite, i dont think warner or aew want it on tnt. they have hockey and all that crap on there
me and Zarian thinking the same way on this is nice
Can’t blame them if it works though. I mean we’re like 10 months away from it and it’s still drives eyeballs.it for sure is overblown, SRS and Meltzer get record subs when they post about Punk drama. facts.

sounds like TK is a good negotiator lolHe also says that when he first heard about the Saturday show it was explained to him like it'd be a lower card show to get certain people more TV time and then all of a sudden he's hearing two hours in primetime and it being treated as another A show, so he's assuming that part is related to Punk but the show itself was always going to happen in some way
the brawl out thread still lives and is the biggest drawing thread of all time for the sectionCan’t blame them if it works though. I mean we’re like 10 months away from it and it’s still drives eyeballs.
yeah that is pretty fair actuallyI think preemptions really only suck for the fans, Warner doesn't care if AEW gets a lower rating when they're moved to a new time bc a) whatever they moved them for is going to get a higher rating on AEWs slot and b) whatever time they move AEW to is still going to get a higher rating than whatever movie or show rerun they'd have played in that time
So thats a point that I could see for TNT
Criticize his booking if you want, but no one can deny this man’s ability to negotiate.sounds like TK is a good negotiator lol
