I’ve seen it mention a couple times that ring of honor should 1000% at this point just be AEW’s NXT. I originally didn’t want that because I thought ring of honor could still be it’s own premier company but I don’t think Tony’s capable of doing that as much as I love him as a booker he treats ROH too much like a AEW c show so this point just full on make it the developmental NXT style brand, and I think he could do great with that if he fully embraces it.

Yea n while not "officially reported" it sounds like he's booking it himself less n less. Rumor is Stokely and now Chris Hero are prominent parts of roh management and creative (srs but not officially reported)

I’m a bit mixed on it. I’m not sure AEW could honestly give him a platform like the one that he’s had on impact and he’s also kind of wearing down as he’s been getting more and more injuries lately so I’m really not sure what he could really do in AEW but that being said, he’s a fantastic character worker and AEW could use some more of those.

My thing would be if you’re gonna bring him in and I think he should come in and reunite with Moxley either away from the BCC or bring him into the BCC and maybe that’ll help freshen up the BCC a little bit. You could even have him add an interesting new wrinkle to the story Moxley has going on with Eddie Kingston.

Especially now with Mox getting hurt, him and Sami could help each other take less risk and less ring time by being a tag team for a little bit.

It might even be interesting to think about bringing in Christ as well since he’s kind of making a name for himself over in revolver annd Impact Kind of dropped the ball with him after the whole situation with Dave but I think you could still do some stuff with the Jake and Sami.

interesting, thanks. So to me I am not super hot on him as a performer but listening to him lately, it seems like a massive reason for that is that it has taken almost 2 full years to recover fully from the leg break. He was saying he is finally just like NOW starting to feel like he used before. Maybe he was also a good salesmen, but it sounds like he has quite a creative mind and is very good a social media and other things, running his own very successful indie. So for those reasons I think he could be a pretty strong asset backstage at worse and at best could regain a bit of his in ring and be a good vet to have violent matches with.

Sami was talking up Christ huge on that interview as well and they are thick as thieves, id assume Mox is also friends with Christ

If they wanted him to feud with Mox, they could even do ove vs the BCC.

There’s definitely some things AEW could do with Sami and I’ve always been a fan of his when he’s on his game and when he’s got something to do and you know, he loves a good hard-core match and aeW generally lets their hardcore wrestlers go a little bit more in the color than impact typically does so Sami might really enjoy being able the blade buckets in AEW as we both know Moxley likes to do.
