My answer to the tweet is simple: I like too many other people to really miss this. Coulda never seen him again and not lost a minute of sleep over it. And that's a feeling a stand by. However, I'm also certainly happy to enjoy these matches and moments as long as they last.

I mean that’s fair enough that’s how you feel but I also don’t really agree with the logic. I also like a lot of people and I would miss any one of them if they stopped being used. I mean it’s the same thing with Miro and Andrade I miss the shit out of them in the eighth or plus months they haven’t been used on aeW television. Didn’t mean I didn’t enjoy the people that were being used, though.

Well the thing is, I didn't miss Punk. I was fine with not having him around, and just enjoying his career as it was. I'm also cool with having him back as long as shit doesn't get derailed again. But the fact that shit could get derailed is a big element in possibly preferring he stay away.

Because the bullshit around Brawl Out, mostly all the online fans and dirt sheet bullshit, really zapped a lot of my passion for AEW at the time.

However, since he's here, I'm cool to take the ride. I don't have the kind of disdain for him that like Booty and Sasha have expressed.

If anything he's one of my former favorite wrestlers, who I'll probably once again consider one of my all time favorites once he's fully retired.

If you just don’t miss cm punk, that’s perfectly valid. I was only addressing the particular. That being said the reason I posted that wasn’t even necessarily about CM punk as a performer. It was that ovation that very unique and magnetic ovation that very few performers are able to elicit and that’s some thing that’s just amazing to see.

My mood towards it as well. I'm enjoying his stuff now he is back but I didn't miss him whilst gone. I coped without Punk for many years before he came back. And his antics deffo had an impact on the product. If he goes again I won't miss and maybe he will take the annoying section of the Punk fanbase with him

I just find it funny how at least on WS most of the punk fans are just excited to see punk but the punk haters can’t stop mentioning how much they don’t like punk like every five seconds so it’s just amazing to me the cognitive dissonance that it’s the Punk fans that are annoying.

But yes, every fan base has its share of annoying fans. Don’t wish a talent would disappear and take their fans with them, though.
