I do think the Omega match has the best build and honestly that Don promo really elevated it. Takeshita needs to be on those areas Don setup for him.

It’s not a title match, but they should maybe make that the main if there’s no world title match.

I get it though it's kind of like when I went to Toronto for the first Canadian show and they didn't have the elite or punk. show was great but i went in a bit bummed

Without getting into the specifics I’ll be honest not seeing Punk is a huge letdown. It was half the reason of specifically going to Chicago for an AEW show.

Glad it’s not just me. I’m gonna have a good time being in Chicago live, regardless, for sure, but does make me think this is what Battle of the Belts should have been rather than a PPV.

Probably the draw of this card for me is seeing Jay White and his BCG live against a weird teamup of Bucks and FTR.

Just weird AEW has essentially three world titles in the AEW, real and ROH and they didn’t book any on this show. I understand the Punk situation and don’t get me wrong that frustrates me too not seeing him in Chicago when I flew out there, but then book the ROH title to make up for it. Chicago loves Kingston.

Yeah I'm hyped for the 8-man as the other two FTR and Bucks teaming up tags were underrated bangers (especially the 12 man vs the Dark Order one). I feel like Claudio vs Kingston makes the most sense here. Honestly Mox vs OC should be the main event as it is the match with the most hype by far.

I actually don’t mind the 4-man as I’m gonna pop for it, but I do feel a Jay singles match with an elite member would have been vastly better.

I also think when Punk couldn’t be there, they absolutely should have pivoted and ran Cole/MJF back at All Out. The build is already there. Booking a rematch on Dynamite would have been easy.

See I disagree with doing the Cole/MJF rematch so soon. I think you take your time with that. Now doing Strong vs MJF makes sense to me.

Normally I need charisma too but I’ve always loved him since his ROH days.

I agree his whiny character gives him something to work with and I’m really intrigued where the kingdom storyline goes with him. I really think merging undisputed with Kingdom makes the most sense. Even if it’s just kor and strong, but I do think Adam will turn on MJF.

Yeah I do think the end game is Cole turning on MJF but the journey to get there should take a bit of time imo
