I think it was Meltzer but may have been a random on Twitter that said it and I agree: we'll find out tonight how much internet buzz is really worth bc this is the most noteworthy story to have absolutely nothing on screen about it that AEW has had ever (not counting the Punk return), so whether the rating is higher or not would be a good indication of how many people care about drama vs if it's just us and most only care about what's on screen

The rumors started because Colt was backstage weekly, wrestling on Dark and on BTE and then he randomly stopped appearing and people said "hurr durrr I bet this is bc of Punk" lmao

If I were Khan I’d give Punk a “you do this one more time and you’re out” chance. Punk signing with AEW was the biggest thing to ever happen to the company and I wouldn’t want to lose that.
