And this is confirmed by SRS and Meltzer saying no one ever told them Punk forced Colt out, which is why they never said he forced Colt out. They said Colt wasn't going to be renewed, people told Tony to sign him to ROH instead and that's what happened

Right yeah, but plenty of people have said one of the guys talking about it talk to people that hang with the bucks etc. also starting rumours isn’t the same as directly leaking it. it doesn’t have to be a direct leak, but thinking The most likely scenario is that Punk just made this shit up is wild to me lol. He obviously has reason to believe what he does

No it’s not at all lol. Gambit was deciding to just not believe reports. You’ve just made up your own scenario and acting like it’s the most likely event. Most likely event is that there’s some truth to Punk’s grievances or this wouldn’t have happened.

if it was anyone else id probably agree but with this individuals reputation preceding him, there's some element of doubt. especially that there's really no prior evidence of The Elite using any of their influence to burry anyone. at least none that I have seen that were by anyone worth their salt not called Jim Cornette

I don't think he made it up, I think the websites did and then Hangman's promo comments hurt him personally bc the rumors were already passing him off and that started the conspiracy in his head

He has a history of being difficult to work with and starting drama everywhere he's worked. Again, I'm not accusing him of lying my guy, Im accusing him of being so paranoid/hurt that he jumped the gun on culpability and decided what his truth was before knowing the truth and now he may be too prideful to admit he jumped the gun

Why make the jump from everyone says this story isn't real to assuming it is? Why did Page think it was legit enought to address? I feel like there's got to be some legitness to it.
