If reports are to be believed, Punk is willing to work with The Elite. If they don’t wanna work with him (which is understandable if they don’t) it’s technically splitting the rosters to accommodate them.
It's absolutely not on Punk to forgive, he was the wrong one. Only if the Elite can move past it everything's okay

As for Jericho I don't give a shit how he feels, he's a slimy politician. He leaked a fake "Elite/Punk heat" story to the sheets and caused actual heat to exist where there wouldn't be any.

As I said, it’s definitely fine if they don’t want to work with him, 100%. But I’m just saying that if they split the rosters up, it’s because they don’t wanna be around him. So they technically would be doing it for them and not Punk, who just wants to get back to wrestling.

Benefits to a soft split of the roster across two 2-hour shows (or 3hours - 2 hours if Rampage stays the 3rd hour of Dynamite)

- too many belts no longer a problem - moving the TBS and INT title to another show ensures those titles are better booked, get more attention and have a clear defining difference to it's counterparts.

- due to point above, this would benefit Jade and the women's division as a whole. Obviously this is assuming they actually use said extra time for the women, but it would give them an opportunity to feature a lot more women and give Jade more promo time and match time which she lacks atm. It would also allow for more women in general to make it on tv and get a chance to shine.

- you can keep the tag and trios titles defended across both brands but now have more time to develop more stories and longer feuds for both/. as it stands it is difficult to balance all the titles I mentioned above and impossible to move stories for all of them week to week, therefor we get weekly gaps currently. This would help solve that issue

- an actual opportunity for some lower card stories to make it to television. example : most of the Hardy - Page feud happened on dark. Not a problem for me, but a lot of ppl missed a lot of context on the TV show due to that, and it was genuinely good stuff. It would make those angles mean more and get better reactions from live crowds.

- an opportunity to maybe rehab characters who have cooled off without doing the dark circuit

Thoughts on any of these?

I'm with you on all of these except the women's thing. This is all implying that they won't just take the one token Q7 women's segment formula that's been on Dynamite and bring it to the new show. I have no faith in that, especially considering I've heard rumblings that having less women's wrestling is a WBD choice and not an AEW one

I get you but that's why I also started it with "assuming they DO take the extra time with the women" .. they will literally have no excuses with an extra 2 hours so, I am optimistic but only to a degree.

albeit I would not expect anything close to like nxt 2.0 levels of women's presence, that's just not going to happen in a non developmental setting

Doesn't help that the focus of every token women's segment (the Outcasts) has go away heat with me rn
I feel that. Though I am sure your problem with them isn't the same as mine.

My problems with them

(1) Saraya has really been left behind by much better women, especially with her long injury retirement
(2) Also, her on the mic is the reason the mute button exists
(3) They're doing an Outsiders/nWo thing but it just feels like a cheap imitation
(4) Every segment is the same. Outcasts win due to interference, big beatdown, one of three babyface women comes out for the save. Spinning its wheels doesn't even cover it
(5) Ruby Soho isn't as good a heel, and they ruined the will-she-won't-she vibe by just having her turn like 2 weeks in

Honestly, no real clue. just assumed they would be different from mine since most on here don't hate/dislike a group or people for the same reasons I do
