Robert Anthony appeared on an episode of The Tyrus and Timpf podcast recently and spoke about a fishing trip he and Moxley planned to take following the pay-per-view.

"[Moxley's] doing good. Man, he was supposed to be on vacation, six weeks, we were going to go fishing. Now he’s back to work, he’s not too happy about it," Anthony said.

"He’s pissed off and he’s back at work and he cut a hell of a promo on Wednesday. We’ll see where it goes, you know what I mean? It’s just a lot of negatives in the positives over there."

Moxley and Chris Jericho were not originally scheduled for last week's Dynamite. Following the suspensions of CM Punk, Kenny Omega, and the Young Bucks, both were added to the show. Our own Dave Meltzer addressed the original plans for Moxley in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

"Moxley had an angle planned that he sort of acknowledged on the air where he would be going on vacation to lead to a return with emphasis, but that’s out the window, as it appears he, Jericho, MJF, and Danielson will be the key stars carrying the company for now," Meltzer wrote.

Man was supposed to be fishing :lmao

And he would've deserved his vacation

Now his gimmick is "Pissed off guy has to work instead of chilling out on a fishing boat for 6 weeks"

Have Danielson win the title so Mox can have his holiday. The man deserves it.

Or give it to Sammy and watch the WORLD BURN

I do wonder if Punk being injured would have changed the plans anyway or if it's just bc the Bucks/Omega aren't available rn too. Maybe they'll just let him take it after he loses in the tournament lmao man needs his fishing

I'd say it was a combo of both. Losing Omega and Punk at the same time who would have been massive parts of TV probs caused him to delay it till at least Grand Slam

Yeah I'm thinking since the tournament would have had to be done regardless, Mox still would have been called in for it. Only alternative would be if Omega took his spot (again, only speaking on the hypothetical of if Punk was injured but nothing happened at the scrum)

Several of the coaches and producers that were suspended surrounding the Brawl Out situation have some immediate plans.
Pat Buck returned from suspension and is backstage at AEW Dynamite today, sources indicated to Fightful. We're told that Buck was integral in helping break up the fight and was doing his best to restore order in the situation.

We've not learned about the suspension status of a couple of other names, but have learned what they're up to this week. Christopher Daniels was previously announced for AJPW shows, and was not slated to be at this week's Dynamite taping.
Michael Nakazawa is also in Japan, and is planned for some upcoming shows. He was set to go to Japan before his suspension, and was also not scheduled to be at AEW Dynamite tonight regardless.

Kenny Omega (also in Japan), Young Bucks, CM Punk, Ace Steel are not at Dynamite, and we're working to find out details surrounding Brandon Cutler, the remaining name who was suspended. We're told that while there were original plans for some AEW names to be involved in promoting the AEW game this week, that might not be the case considering the circumstances.
