I've complimented you plenty of times on this BTB in the past so it has been a nice trip down memory lane reading back on everything you've posted in here so far. I can't wait until Cobb becomes World Champ...

Anyway, this edition of BTE was fine. Really like that you're making this feel like you're running the whole company (including developmental), as opposed to just booking a show. It's a nice change of pace.

I'm not entirely sure how I feel about an entire episode of DARK being dedicated to BTE, which has only had two episodes. I'm sure the show itself will be fine, but I just mean in the sense that it feels like BTE has gotten a special a little to quickly for my liking. Still intrigued to see how it plays out though, as I'm sure these Dark appearances will somehow circle back into angles on BTE.

Nothing seems to happen in this universe without a reason which is one of your biggest strengths. Looking forward to more new content mate.

AEW: Wednesday Night Dynamite
Episode Seven - #Returns
Bojangles' Coliseum, Charlotte, NC

November 13, 2019

Before the cameras started rolling and Dynamite was live on TnT - the show opened up with a video package highlighting many of the key moments from the record breaking Pay-Per-View, Revolution! We start with the "Buy-In" as the 'Bad Boy' and self proclaimed 'Deathmatch' Champion Joey Janela took and defeated a returning for one night only, Sandman! Mercedes Martinez & Ivelisse then put their history together to the side and battled with Ivelisse coming out on top!

Next the Main-Card. A Heroes return as Chris Hero answered the open challenge of Jeff Cobb! The NEW suplex machine beating Hero in dominating fashion despite the former ROH wrestlers best efforts. We see the grudge feud of Rhodes vs Friedman come to a head - MJF & Hammerstone picking up the win, before going to far as Maxwell placed his hands on Brandi Rhodes, causing a raging 'American Nightmare' to come his way. Friends battled it out for the AEW Tag Team Championships! The Young Bucks defeating Chris Daniels & Franke Kazarian with Scorpio Sky not supporting at ringside. Speaking of Scorpio, he overcame MVP but was that the plan all along from Montell? A smiling Montell watched Scorpio have his hand raised in victory as the show moved on.

Everyone DEECAAYYSSSS is the words of the AEW Women's Champion Rosemary, and at Revolution it was no different as Rosemary & the Twisted Sisterz overcame Kylie Rae, Shida & Allie! From the ring to ringside, into the crowd - a Street fight was on the card of Revolution as LAX overcame the Lucha Brothers with another appearance from the mysterious and devious, Salina de la Renta! "THAT'S GOTTA BE CAIN!" was the talk of ESPN and mainstream media as Cain Velasquez made a shocking appearance at Revolution alongside Konnan and would rock the jaw of Sammy Guevara despite Jake Hager defeating Daga on the night.

Lastly, it was time for the AEW World Championship! Redemption or failure? The 'Hangman' Adam Page battling back to full health after losing to 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho at All Out in 2019. The wildcard; CM Punk! Punk would Referee the biggest match in All Elite Wrestling's short history and would play his role. Ultimately though, the 'Hangman' would fall despite coming close - Chris Jericho using all his experience and defeating a defiant and bloody 'Hangman' Page with a second Judas Effect! The show ending with Jericho holding the Championship in the air while a distraught Page sat slumped at ringside - bringing Revolution to a close.

The Dynamite theme blares from the speakers as the pyro fizzes around the stage while the red hot Charlotte crowd are on their feet clapping and cheering. "A!E!DUB! A!E!DUB! A!E!DUB!" is the roar as the camera pans around the Bojangles' Coliseum as All Elite Wrestling's Wednesday Night Dynamite is LIVE!

The camera then pans over to the commentary table where Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone welcome the fans to Wednesday Night Dynamite! Emanating LIVE from Charlotte, North Carolina! Tony & Jim Ross hype up another episode of Dynamite coming off the history-making and record-breaking Pay-Per-View; Revolution! The commentary duo announce that CM Punk is here tonight in Charlotte, and he has an announcement he wants to share with the AEW fans! Jim Ross then confirms that following their medical clearance, both Kenny Omega & Jon Moxley are also here, and both will return to action.. TONIGHT!

1678385775237.png

Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone then hand us over to ringside where Justin Roberts is in the ring and ready to announce the first match of the evening! "Beat him if you can, survive if he lets you!" Open Challenge!

Match One:
Jeff Cobb W/ Taz vs Shigehiro Irie W/ CIMA

Intrigue built as who would be the latest potential victim of the NEW suplex machine to answer the open challenge. Cobb stood menacingly in his corner, towel draped across his head as Taz stood next to him; face all scrunched up and arms folded, confident that no matter who came out and walked down that ramp, his protégé was about to rack up another victory!

CIMA of the Strong Hearts answered the call and stood on the ramp looking down to ringside as Taz began to laugh and pointing. Commentary putting over that Cobb made his debut by completely destroying all three members of the Strong Hearts! CIMA though had a plan up his sleeve, and the Strong Hearts theme would play again as a fourth member would enter the stage; Shigehiro Irie! The 254lb 'Strongman' of the Strong Hearts began making his way down the ramp as the commentary team introduced us to a man who's a former 3x DDT Pro-Wrestling KO-D Openweight Champion! They also remind us that Shigehiro was part of the 'Becoming the.. Elite!' inaugural class of 2019 and has been impressing everyone at the One Fall Power Factory!

Summary: Taz removed the towel from the head of Jeff Cobb as the bell sounded and immediately Cobb & Shigehiro went face to face, nose to nose. 519lbs of combined muscle was about to collide and Cobb was about to go one on one with perhaps his biggest challenge to date. Shigehiro battled and fought with all he had, even knocking down Cobb off his feet on a couple of occasion earning a pop from the Charlotte crowd but it wasn't enough - Cobb far too experienced and operating on another level would swivel out from an attempted suplex variation and would latch on the Tazzmission! With his mentor; Taz, watching on with a smirk across his face, Cobb would tighten the grip and Shigehiro began to fade before tapping out.

Jeff Cobb (W) - 06:32 Match Time.

"ANNNDDDD YOUR WINNER! THE NEW SUPLEX MACHINE! JEFF! COBB!" - Justin Roberts

1678385824037.png

Jeff Cobb stands menacingly in the ring, flexing and snarling at his fallen opponent as Taz stands next to his protégé while Jim Ross & Tony begin to ask.. Who can stop this man?

dUSF5qa.png

With the ring clearing and the Charlotte crowd just settling down again from the first match of the evening. Jim Ross & Tony would begin to take us through what was next in store for Dynamite - But they were soon cut off by the theme of the 'American Nightmare' - A man still raging from what happened at Revolution!

KINGDOM!!!

A suited Cody Rhodes would waste no time on showing off or theatrics on the stage, pacing down the ramp and entering the ring before demanding a microphone from a worker at ringside. Cody Rhodes is clearly reeling from what occurred at Revolution and isn't about to hold back with his words

1678385981286.png

A furious Cody says he wasn't going to wait in the back any longer, he's already waited long enough since Revolution and his blood has been boiling ever since! Cody talks about his family and the Rhodes legacy. He talks about the respect and love his family has for this business, and they have in this business! He then mentions the name of Maxwell Jacob Friedman. His facial expressions now more fired up as he throws away his suit jacket, rips away his tie and begins to unbutton the cuffs of his shirt as he continues on.

Cody goes on to say that he's stayed out of the way because his Brother is his own man - however when MJF put his hands on his Wife, he crossed the line! It's no longer about a lack of respect - It's personal to him now! Cody says he's not waiting any longer - Tells MJF to get out here and they can settle this - one on one! man to man!

The crowd is now fired up along with Cody as they begin to chant and cheer his name.. "Cody! Cody! Cody!" - Rhodes now unbuttoning his shirt and throwing down the microphone - Screaming for MJF to get out here!

1678386026569.png

A smirking an always arrogant Maxwell Jacob Friedman then appears on the big screen. "MJF" appears to be backstage and he smiles before responding to Cody Rhodes.

MJF goes on to say he knew it was only a matter of time before little Brother Cody got involved and tried to make this all about him! He says how Cody isn't mad because his Dad was disrespected, or that his Brother was beatdown, or his Uncle Dallas, or even that I put my hands on Wife, Brandi! He's mad because little Brother Cody is on the side-line and it's not all about him for a change! MJF will say if Cody wants to settle the score, then we can do this old school. I'll be waiting right here for you! Come and get me, Cody.

"MJF" then smirks as the big screen fades. Cody has no hesitation - exiting the ring and storming up the ramp as he's going to find 'MJF' wherever he is backstage. Jim Ross & Tony telling us that all hell is about to break loose here on Dynamite and to come back after the commercial break!

>> COMMERCIAL BREAK <<

1678386088208.png

Dynamite is back from the first commercial of the evening and the footage returns following Cody as he searches for MJF in the backstage area. Cody asking anyone passing by if they've seen "MJF" as they shrug. Cody then continues on and finally he's face to face with the still smirking Maxwell. Cody looks to charge at "MJF" who had plotted this the whole time, luring Cody into a trap! Alex Hammerstone cutting off Cody's attack and driving him into a garage parking lot door as Cody's back and body rattles against the steel.

Hammerstone then picking Cody back up before swinging him face first into the steel and then levelling him with a discuss clothesline, knocking him down to the concrete flooring. "MJF" then holds up his hand, appearing to show an ounce of sympathy as Cody tries to stand back up, stopping the Hammerstone onslaught before then sticking his shoe right across the face of Rhodes with a kick - knocking him down! A smirking "MJF" then steps on Cody Rhodes, walking across him as in the background a few seconds later you can hear the voices of Dustin & Brandi Rhodes coming to Cody's aid and calling out for help as the show moves on.

1678386133171.png

Footage is shown from the interaction at Revolution between 'The Bastard' PAC & the Best Friends; Chuck Taylor & Trent. We see the exchange where PAC is annoyed and moaning about not making the card, as the Best Friends suggest he could have answered the open challenge of Jeff Cobb.. Unless he was scared? PAC then mentioning how he's already brutalized a set of Best Friends in SCU, and that Chuck & Trent need to watch their mouths or they will be next! Well.. They could very well be next because the next match of the evening was set to take place as PAC was about to go one on one with Trent!

Match Two:
'The Bastard' PAC vs Trent W/ Chuck Taylor

Summary:
The second match of the evening was fast-paced and full of action as Trent went step for step with one of the best wrestlers in the world today - the undefeated PAC! The crowd were firmly behind Trent, trying to will him on but every time Trent got going - The Bastard would shut him down! Aggressive with his strikes and his offense as the match rolled on. The ending would come with Trent on top, springing from the top rope and looking to land with a frog-splash! PAC though moving at the last second before scrambling and clasping in the BRUTALIZER!! Silence fell on the Charlotte crowd as they knew what was coming next. Trent squirmed and wriggled but there was no escape and he was forced to tap out!

'The Bastard' PAC (W) - 08:54 Match Time.

"ANNNDDDD YOUR WINNER! HE IS THE BAASSTTAARDDDDDD! PAAAACCC!" - Justin Roberts

Another match, another victory with the Brutalizer as PAC continues his winning undefeated streak in All Elite Wrestling much to annoyance of the Charlotte crowd. Trent still in pain from the Brutalizer as Chuck Taylor now enters the ring and checks up on his friend. PAC begins to exit the ring before turning back and seeing Chuck before smiling and then jumping the second-man of the Best Friends! 'The Bastard' latching on the Brutalizer to Chuck who immediately taps in agony as the Referee tries to pull the Englishman away to no success. A few seconds pass and PAC eventually releases the hold before standing proudly.

1678386219231.png

Dangerous! Those are the words of Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone as they confirm that NOBODY has escaped the Brutalizer from 'The Bastard' PAC! They speculate what's next for a man who feels he's been held back in All Elite Wrestling as they wonder if it's only a matter of time before he's in the Main Even scene.

1678386316566.png

Dynamite rolls on and we see Scorpio Sky backstage. We get a quick glance at him leaving the medical room where the camera is able to pick up Chris Daniels being assessed after his match at Revolution with Franke Kazarian at his side. A big puff off the cheeks from Scorpio as he closes the door behind him and tries to walk down the corridor only to be confronted by his opponent at Revolution - MVP!

Scorpio Sky asking what MVP wants? Referring to his win at 'Revolution' and beating MVP so he's not joining him and MVP can run along now and leave him be! MVP smiles before agreeing that Scorpio did beat him, just like he knew he would.. MVP says does Scorpio think he's that stupid? That he's going to attach himself to someone worse then him? He knows Scorpio is a diamond in the rough, a star being held back by his friends and with the right guidance - he could shine! Sky stops walking, pausing at the words of MVP and clearly thinking on them. Sky then shakes his head and continues to walk as MVP scurries alongside him and continues to talk.

MVP says that one night against him - he got him on the 'Revolution' card and for Scorpio to stop and to think what he could do for him with them being on the same team? Scorpio does think on it before snapping out of it and telling Montell to leave him alone. Scorpio then paces down the hallway as MVP watches on smiling, pulling out his mobile as Scorpio Sky leaves, presumably not ready to give up the pursuit.

1678386419083.png

WILD THING!!

The Bojangles' Coliseum erupted as Jon Moxley appeared in the bleachers standing among the Charlotte fans. A new theme and a slightly different look with a new shirt displaying "Unscripted Violence" was greeted by chants of "Moxley! Moxley! Moxley!" as Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone welcomed back Moxley to All Elite Wrestling! Even those who were siding with Kenny, happy to see the return of Mox as he strutted down the stairs and walked through the crowd - hopping the barricade at ringside. Mox then entered the ring where his opponent for the evening was already waiting.

Match Three:
Brandon Cutler vs Jon Moxley

Summary:
"Moxley! Moxley! Moxley!" was still the chant from the Charlotte crowd even when the bell sounded to officially start the match. Jon Moxley standing opposite a weary eyed Brandon Cutler who knew he was about to enter the lions den with a hungry lion in the returning Jon Mox! Moxley though held out his hand.. Brandon continued to be weary before looking out towards the crowd and then finally returning the hand gesture as the two shook. The moment though lasted what might have made two seconds as Moxley pulled him in before dropping him on his head with the PARADIGM SHIFT!! Moxley then motioning that Cutler is an idiot before hooking the legs and covering for the victory! One! Two! Three!

Jon Moxley (W) - 01:34 Match Time.

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNER! JOOOOONNNNNNN MOOOXXXLLEEYYYYY!"
- Justin Roberts

The crowd are cheering, and also laughing at the expense of Brandon Cutler who continues to sell the Paradigm Shift from Moxley. Moxley though isn't paid by the hour and has more important things on his mind as he steps over Cutler to grab a microphone from ringside and begins to speak.

Moxley says that while Omega is worrying about proving he's the best wrestler in the world, and trying to have good matches - he gets the job done and hurts people! He is unscripted violence personified and it doesn't matter whether it's here in Charlotte! In America! In Mexico! Oh hell.. I'll fight you in Alaska! I'm going to hurt you again, Omega!

There's now a more mixed reception as Moxley vows to hurt Kenny Omega again. The crowd now perhaps more divided as attention turns back from the return, and once again to the feud. People perhaps choosing between favourite's and who they're backing to come out on top! Moxley then attempts to exit the ring when he notices Referee Paul Turner finally helping Brandon Cutler back to his feet, and Moxley just cant resist. With a smirk on his face - Moxley goes over and appears to help Brandon to stand before kicking him in the cut and for the second time driving his head into the canvas with another Paradigm Shift! Moxley then rolls out of the ring as 'Wild Thing' blares from the speakers as the commentary remind us that December 22nd - Moxley vs Omega II will take place from Mexico, Mexico City! With Omega's AAA Mega Championship on the line!

>> COMMERCIAL BREAK <<

1678386611685.png

Dynamite returns back from a commercial break but the footage doesn't return to ringside and instead showcases some unseen footage from Revolution after the show had ended.

We see a distraught 'Hangman' Adam Page, slumped down against his locker in the dressing room. Sweat still dripping from his head and body, as blood still runs from his mouth. Noticeable are the beer cans around Page, a couple already crunched up and finished - Page clearly taking the loss to heart.

The sadness in the voice of the 'Cowboy' is clear for all to hear as he talks to the camera crew. 'Hangman' telling them that he doesn't know where he goes from here. Page finishing off another can that was in his hand before crunching it up and throwing it across the locker room. Page continues speaking and talks about the first loss to Chris Jericho at All Out, he was convinced that was hit moment. Page then talks about the journey back and getting healthy again only to lose to Jericho for the second time. 'Hangman' rubs his face and the blood away from his mouth before dipping his hand back into an ice-box and pulling out another beer as he says he has no excuses to make. Page then pops the can and takes a deep swig before asking if the camera crew can leave him be because he needs some time to think.

The camera crew then begin to back away and close the door behind them as we see a final shot of a distraught 'Hangman' Page with a beer in hand - seemingly drinking his problems away.

Tony Schiavone calls the situation a sad sight and praises 'Hangman' on an amazing performance! Jim Ross agrees and says that 'Hangman' Page has many years in the game, but drinking isn't the answer - He needs to get back on the horse and restart his journey to the top of All Elite Wrestling!

1678386653300.png

CULT OF PERSONALITY!!

For the second time this evening, Charlotte enters a frenzy of chants and cheers for the arrival of one: C! M! PUNK! Punk steps out on to the stage to a chorus of the crowd chanting his name as the 'Best In the World' taps his chest before making his way down the ramp, slapping hands with fans in the front row as he makes his way down to ringside.

"C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK!" is the chant from the crowd as Punk smiles; entering the ring with a microphone in hand as he taunts for the crowd as fires them up even more. Commentary putting over that even after all the time away from the ring - Punk's connection with the crowd remains special and unique!

CM Punk now stands in the ring and waits for a few moments for the crowd noise to die down before asking the crowd..

"Do you want to hear a story?" - CM Punk

1678386723379.png

The crowd right on cue pop once more as Punk smiles again. He then raises the microphone to his lips and begins to speak his mind as the Bojangles' Coliseum hangs on his every word.

Punk starts by talking about his time in WWE! The mere mention of the 'other company' generating some boos as CM Punk carries on. How when he left his state of mind - burnt out and sick of the one thing he loved his whole life - Wrestling! Punk will say how he had to separate from the wrestling business and try some things.. test himself again! Punk will say some worked, and will then pretend to cough while saying "UFC" under his breath and laughing before suggesting that some didn't as he shares a laugh with the crowd. Punk then talks about watching from a far and seeing the rise of All of Elite Wrestling!

The crowd of course cheer at the mention of All Elite Wrestling.

Punk will say how AEW excited him - It felt fresh, it felt like a change needed in the stale monopoly of the Sport Entertainers in Connecticut. Punk then talks about being a guest at All Out and the pop he received - being blown away by the love shown from the fans that never forgot about him, even when he tried to push them away! Punk then talks about him sticking around, and how he wasn't lying when he spoke to Jim Ross in that interview! There was no plan, there was no contract, there is no contract.

Punk confirms he's been 'working' on a handshake agreement with Tony Khan! But the truth is.. He's straight edge, but he's always had one addiction and that's.. WRESTLING! Being backstage, interacting with a hungry owner that has goals, is willing to adapt with the times, listens to his audience! Then the talent back there - Hungry! Ambitious! Some of the best young talent in the world - Darby Allin! Adam 'Hangman' Page! Rey Fenix! Even that jerk - Maxwell Jacob whatever his name is!

Cheers for the mention of Darby, Page & Fenix - but of course, there's boos for the name of "MJF"

Punk says at Revolution, he had a job to do.. but he would be lying if he didn't say for that brief moment, when he was holding the AEW World Championship and I looked out at the Baltimore crowd, cheering and chanting my name.. It's given me all the motivation I need. Punk's voice now fires up a little more, standing to his feet.

"This story might never be a happy ever after - but I'm BACK! And I'm BACK to prove that I am STILL.. The BEST IN THE WORLD! 6 weeks.. 6 weeks I have to get in the best shape I can. WINTER IS COMING and so is a GO TO SLEEP with anyone's name on it. Step up, and try me!" - CM Punk

Punk is emotional as the crowd pop once more. You can tell he's gone back and forwards on a possible return and has finally decided it's the right time. Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone full of praise and admiration for CM Punk deciding to step back into the ring and do what he loves to do once again! Jim Ross confirms the words of CM Punk and says that in 6 weeks time - December 18, 2019! Winter is Coming! And so is the return to the ring of the "Best in the World" - C! M! PUNK!

WINTER IS COMING!.jpg

1678386941116.png

The Charlotte crowd are still calming down from the announcement of CM Punk's wrestling return at the 'Winter Is Coming' themed Dynamite on December 18, 2019. Social media rife with tweets of CM Punk as the straight edged wrestler currently trends #1.

As they say though; The show goes on! Justin Roberts is in the ring and is ready to announce the Fourth match of the evening as the Twisted Sisterz of the Decay; Thunder Rosa & Holidead are up against Emi Sakura & Riho!

Match Four:
Twisted Sisterz W/ Rosemary vs Riho & Emi Sakura.

Summary: Rosemary watched on like a proud Mum as her 'assassins' Thunder Rosa & Holidead controlled the match from the get-go! Attention on Thunder Rosa who once again stood out like she did at Revolution as the commentary praised her ability. Emi Sakura & Riho battled away but it often felt like they were fighting the odds as Rosemary played her part at ringside, getting into the mind of the Twisted Sisterz opponents. The ending came with Thunder Rosa picking up the win! A Fire Thunder Driver to Riho - One! Two! Three!

Twisted Sisterz (W) - 07:51 Match Time.

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNERRRRSSSS! REPRESENTING THE DEEECCAAAAYYY! HOLIDEAD! THUNDER ROSA! THE TWWISSTEEDDDD SISSTTERRRZZZZZ!"
- Justin Roberts

The Twisted Sisterz of the Decay have picked up the victory but they're certainly not finished with their opponents. Emi Sakura checking on her friend and partner Riho after taking the Fire Thunder Driver while the Decay are stalking her like prey. Rosemary gives the signal and both Rosa & Holidead attack Emi and begin beating her down before dragging her back up. Rosemary then letting out a scream before blowing a dark Red mist into the face of Emi who drops down immediately yelling in agony.

"The Red Mist! That mist to the face of Emi Sekura!" - Tony Schiavone

"Now come on! There's absolutely no need for this - the match is over! Move on!" - Jim Ross

All three members of the Decay then turn around, and there's little Riho now in the corner of the ring, almost cowering down for fear that she's next to be fed to the wolves of Thunder Rosa, Holidead & the AEW Women's Champion, Rosemary!

The boos are raining down on the Decay as they stalk and edge closer to Riho who appears frozen on the spot. Suddenly, the Charlotte crowd pop! Running down the ramp is Allie, Kylie Rae & Hikaru Shida!

The Calvary arrives as Allie, Kylie & Shida enter the ring. Shida takes point as she begins to swing the Singapore cane around and the Decay flee the ring and begin to back track up the ramp. Allie & Kylie Rae rush to the aid of Sakura & Riho as Shida stares back at Rosemary and motions the AEW Women's Championship around her waist as Rosemary just screams back - clearly annoyed that she was forced to retreat.

>> COMMERCIAL BREAK <<

1678387115064.png

Dynamite is back from the break and we see Ivelisse backstage watching the action unfold on the TV screen that we witnessed before the break between The Decay, Allie, Kylie Rae & Shida. Mercedes Martinez then walks into the shot and the two ladies who did battle at Revolution and now stood face to face.

Martinez then surprises Ivelisse and says she came here to congratulate Ivelisse on the victory at Revolution! Martinez admits the better woman won on that day, but their paths will cross again - and she will come out on top! Ivelisse just stares, almost no emotion to the words of Martinez. Mercedes then turns to leave when she glances back at the TV screen and see's the Decay.

Martinez then turns back to Ivelisse, and has a few more choice words that draws a smile from Ivelisse.

"Oh.. and if these bitches give you any trouble. I got you, Las Sicarias!" - Mercedes Martinez

Ivelisse then nods and repeats "Las Sicarias" before the two former partners fist bumping each other and both Mercedes and Ivelisse walk away in different directions as Dynamite continues.

1678387156867.png

Before the next match of the night we see a small video package highlighting the meeting between the Dark Order members of Evil Uno & Stu Grayson. The video package shows Uno & Grayson walking through the path of 'creepers' as they reach a throne where a hooded figure is sat. The hooded figure known as the 'Exalted One' proceeds to call Uno & Grayson failures! He talks about how he used his resources to get Uno & Grayson into All Elite Wrestling but they've brought nothing but shame! Embarrassment! Failure!

The Hooded figure warning that his paitience is running out and that the next time Evil Uno & Stu Grayson lose, they're OUT of the Dark Order and will fall beneath his feet and be crushed by what's to come! Uno & Grayson accept the words of the 'Exalted One' as the video package finishes.

1678387689583.png

Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone begin to speculate what any of this means, and who is the 'Exalted One?' - Ross then confirms that both Grayson & Evil Uno are under some immense pressure, lose and they're seemingly out of the Dark Order! The camera then pans to ringside where once again Justin Roberts is set to announce the next match of the evening!

Match Five:
Dark Order (Evil Uno & Grayson) vs The Hybrid2 (Angelico & Jack Evans)

Summary:
This match was a tense one right from the bell for both Grayson & Evil Uno - One loss and it would seemingly mean their careers in the Dark Order and possibly in All Elite Wrestling is over! Angelico & Evans knew this too - Playing on the pressure as they attempted quick roll ups and came close on a couple of occasions before gesturing and laughing at Uno & Stu Grayson. The Dark Order would hold it together though and took advantage of a missed shooting-star press from Evans - ending the match with the Fatality! Evil Uno then hooking the legs of Evans and picking up the win! One! Two! Three!

Dark Order (W) - 07:05 Match Time.

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNERS! THEY'RE THE DAAARRKK ORRRDDEERRRR! EVIL UNNNOOOOO ANNDD STUU GRAYYYSOONNN!"
- Justin Roberts

1678387278423.png

We see a quick commercial for the latest AEW figures that are due to be released on Ringside.com before the live footage returns to the ring and we see Tony Schiavone stood ready to make an announcement.

1678387638512.png

Tony thanks Charlotte for the warm reception and says he loves and respects North Carolina for the great wrestling town it is! He says that tonight though he has an announcement to make that will shape the December 18th edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite; Winter is Coming!

Tony confirms that 'Winter is Coming' will host the first ever Diamond Ring Tournament which will consist of fourteen randomly selected wrestlers from Dynamite, and then two spots that will be earned by two lucky wrestlers from the 'Becoming the.. Elite!' special edition of DARK! Making a total of sixteen competitors all vying for the chance to win and become the barer of the Diamond Ring!

Tony says this ring will wield immense power and oppertunity at your fingertips as the barer of the ring will have the oppertunity to a Championship Match at any point, at any time! Tony confirms the fourteen men representing Dynamite will be announced next week with the Qualifiers taking place across Dynamite & DARK, and the Semi-Final & Finals taking place at Winter is Coming!

Intrigue is the word following the announcement from Tony as Jim Ross on commentary hypes this as a chance to decide fate! Whoever bares the ring, has the chance of a lifetime and could literally challenge for the AEW World Championship any time they wanted. Jim Ross then hopes the fans have enjoyed the show so far and points out that we still have the Main Event to come! Kenny Omega RETURNS to action!

>> COMMERCIAL BREAK <<

1678387328533.png

"Ladies & Gentleman, my guest at this time.. Chris Hero! Chris, Welcome!" - Chris Van Vliet

Chris Hero enters the picture shot as Dynamite returns from the final commercial break of the evening with a smile across his face. Van Vliet welcomes Hero to Dynamite for the first time following his return to wrestling and asks Hero how good it felt to compete at Revolution?

Hero says how good it felt getting back in the ring where he belongs! He thanks the fans for the reception he got in Baltimore and says he has a lot still in the tank, and he wants to prove that to everyone who doubts him. Hero confirms to Van Vliet that right now, he's without a contract - but Tony Khan invited him here to Dynamite to compete again, and he's got a dream match to impress against Kenny Omega! Chris Hero says he's going to give it everything he has and look to impress because he could see himself becoming.. All Elite!

Chris Hero then leaves the interview area and heads to the ring. Van Vliet thanks Chris Hero for his time before handing over to Justin Roberts for the final time this evening! It's MAIN EVENT time!

Main Event:
Chris Hero vs Kenny Omega

Summary:
Noticeable right away before the bell was the acknowledgement of honour between Omega & Chris Hero as we're reminded by the commentary team of their history in Ring of Honor and the mutual respect they have for one another and the wrestling business. Kenny Omega came to the ring wearing his AAA Mega Championship as again Jim Ross & Tony remind us that Kenny defends that Championship against Moxley in Mexico City on the 22nd of December! As for the match - it was the match of the night! Hero going all out to impress with no doubt a contract in the back of his mind. Omega though was back to his best and he had a point to prove after the loss to Mox at Halloween Havoc, and with this being his first match back and now representing AAA as the Mega Champion! Omega was too good, and too quick. Every time Hero looked like he had control of the match - Omega would escape and switch up the gears.

The ending of the match came with Hero in seemingly control. Sizing up Omega to land the fatal KO blow. Hero swings but Omega ducks underneath before springing off the ropes and smashing hero with a V-TRIGGER! Hero is rocked and it would prove disastrous as Omega then lifted Hero up before bringing him back down with the ONE-WINGED ANGEL!! Hero driven into the ring canvas as Omega covered for the pin! One! Two! Three!

Kenny Omega (W) - 15:37 Match Time.

"ANNNDD YOUR WINNER! THE AAA MEGA CHAMPION! KEENNNNYYYYY OMMEEGGGAAAAA!"
- Justin Roberts

Referee Aubrey raises the hand of Kenny Omega in victory as the commentary team put over the match that him & Chris Hero just had on Dynamite! Jim Ross praising how good Omega looked returning in his first match back since being medically cleared to compete and wrestle. Omega breaking away form the Referee to pose for the Charlotte crowd and take in the applause and cheers.

1678387529960.png

Kenny Omega then shows his class as Chris Hero stands back to his feet. Omega helping him up before once again the two former ROH wrestlers end the contest with the code of honor handshake! Hero then applauding Omega before exiting the ring as Omega applauds back before asking for a microphone.

Omega is full of praise for Chris Hero and puts over the match that these two men just had, and how good it felt to be back where he belongs, in this ring! Wrestling! Here on Dynamite!

Kenny Omega then recieves and clutches his AAA Mega Championship - Holding it up in the air for all the crowd to see before talking about Guerra de Elite Titanes! Omega says that on the 22nd of December, In Mexico! His quest continues to prove that he's STILL the BEST! BOUT! MACHINE! Omega then finishes by saying that this time, there will be no weapons! There will be rules! Two men inside the ring, one on one! Omega stares down the camera and then says..

"Moxley, You're in MY WORLD now! GOODBYE... AND GOODNIGHT! BAAANNNGGG!" - Kenny Omega

The Charlotte crowd give another pop for Kenny Omega who soaks in their applause once again. Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone thank those for watching at home and tuning in tonight! They then wish the AEW fans a goodnight as the footage fades and Dynamite comes to a close.

Authors Note: Hope you guys enjoy what is the first full Dynamite posted on this forum. Next will be DARK which as said previously is a 'Becoming.. The Elite!' special. Shout out to BattleTank for the awesome dividers used in the show too! Thanks my bro :)

Kind of wish you'd learn to write quicker because this show was so good. Kind of feels the days of me doing segment by segment feedback are over, but I wouldn't really have a lot to say here anyway. Didn't feel like there was a lot of filler here, everything delivered. Mox/Omega both looked great, you've got depressed Page, returning and Punk and who will face him. The buildup of Cobb and Pac as tough mofo's continues to go well. Just a bunch of good stuff happened on here mate. Very impressive show.

I'll be back with more detailed comments when I have something to criticise :)

Jeff Cobb being built up as an unstoppable beast is a lot of fun and nice use of the Stronghearts. Shame they didn’t do much on actual AEW in real life.

100% into a MJF vs Cody feud here especially with Dustin involved. Also Hammerstone playing the Wardlow role rules as a MLW fan and you did a nice job making him look like a total beast here.

Not the biggest Scorpio Sky fan but a pairing with MVP is a good idea. Gives him someone to talk for him and a way better fit than ATT for example so a fan of this story.

Very cool promo from Punk and a nice return promo. Curious to see who you have him debut versus in this universe. Also love the tease of MJF. Only feedback is the white text below his promo was hard to read and had to highlight it to see what JR said.

Also nice work building up the women’s division early. Already looking stronger than it did in the early days so very good job there and Rosemary as a first champion is a cool choice.

Omega picking up a win in a dream match with Chris Hero is also a great choice for a main event and a good way to give Omega a win. Deffo something I’ve loved about Dynamite is pulling in people from outside for these kind of matches.

Overall a very good show and a good read. I agree with Stojy. Write quicker

Can't agree more with both Stojy and roy - your stuff is so good it makes me selfishly want more and more, haha. Love what you're doing with Cobb especially. Felt like AEW could've done better with Taz as a manager and this feels like a much better pairing. Decay also continues to be a big highlight for me so kudos for the work you've already done ont he women's division.

Can't wait to see what you do with the Dark Order and if you take it a different direction for the Exalted One.

Also pumped for where you take Punk and Mox/Omega should be a lot of fun.

Love this so much deco, can't wait for more.

So glad to see this back on the front page....

Your newest show looks as great as it normally does. I really like your use of color to add as sense of place and mood to your writing. The green can be a bit hard to read at times, but I think that is more my old eyes than your layout.

** I really love the newest Jeff Cobb ala Taz gimmick. Very unique take on that character.

** I really appreciate The Dynasty callback with Alex Hammerstone. He's one of my favorite talents and his heel incarnation was always my favorite. Pairing him with MJF is great booking and gives him a huge rub.

** It'll be interesting to see how you write Punk and if you try and recreate the tension he created or just book a show with no real life drama. Either way would be an interesting dynamic

** The build to Omega vs. Moxley is perfectly fine. Both matches demonstrated why they are both good and showcased their abilities. Classic booking.

All in all... Very solid show Deco. Glad you are back.

Similar to Stojy I don't really have anything to criticise so it feels like a segment by segment comment is a little bit pointless in some ways :lol

What I will say is I am very intrigued with lots of things you are doing.

-Cobb looking like an unstoppable menace
-Cody vs. MJF
-The Decay are new to me other than Thunder Rosa so I am looking forward to seeing how you build them up. I like them as a centre piece for the division
-Omega vs. Moxley is going to be great and I like Hero having a chance in the main event.

The biggest thing for me which is holding my interest is CM Punk as we all know how that went in real life. Looking forward to seeing who you have him up against first and what goes differently in this BTB in 2019 compared to when he came back and had his first proper feud with MJF.

I have nothing but kind words for this and I am eagerly awaiting the next show already. Keep up the great work my friend!

Authors Note: Thank you ALL so much for the feedback! Massively appreciated and a lot of kind words. I'm glad everyone is enjoying what I'm putting out currently, even if you do all wish I wrote a little faster Haha! Here's my next episode; AEW DARK!
1679439013439.png

Episode Seven - #DARK #BecomingTheEliteSpecial
YouTube
Bojangles' Coliseum, Charlotte, NC
13th, November 2019

The Bojangles' Coliseum lighting has now changed from the more crisp lit up Dynamite. All Elite Wrestling has gone gritty, raw and blacked out for another edition of DARK!

Tony Schiavone welcomes the fans to another episode of Dark as live footage cuts to the commentary table where we see Schiavone, and his special guest commentator for the evening; AEW Head of Talent Relations, Christopher Daniels! Daniels thanks Tony for the welcome and calls it a pleasure to be alongside the legendary Tony especially tonight being the special 'Becoming.. The Elite!' edition of DARK!

Chris Daniels & Tony Schiavone talk us through tonight's episode before confirming that tonight is the first time we get a full glimpse into the future of All Elite Wrestling with every match featuring a graduate from the inaugural 'Becoming.. The Elite!' class of 2019! Daniels says he's been working closely with all these talented men and women we are about to see and it's going to be his pleasure to call the action!

Schiavone then confirms the first match of the evening is a Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match where the winner will go through and will be in with a chance to win the Diamond Ring that wields the power of a Championship oppertunity, any time, any place! Tony & Daniels then hand us over to Justin Roberts to announce the first match of the night! 'The Prodigy' Ben Carter vs Chris Brookes!

Match One: 'The Prodigy' Ben Carter vs Chris Brookes
Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match.

Summary:
There was a real buzz around the Bojangles' Coliseum as Brookes & Ben Carter stood opposite side of each other and began to lock up! Carter has been the highlight reel of DARK in recent weeks while fellow Englishman Chris Brookes well accomplished in the Indy scene of Japan & The United Kingdom. The two men traded holds and lock ups before the match exploded into a high paced fury as both men knew the oppertunity that was on the line! Daniels quick to praise the athleticism of both men and said that he could see big things in the future of both these talented wrestlers!

The ending though came with some in-experience from Ben Carter; 'The Prodigy' had Brookes down in the middle of the ring and went to the top rope! The so-called prodigy of pro wrestling leaped into the air with a picture perfect Frog-Splash but Brookes moved at the last second as the English born Carter splattered across the ring mat. Chris Brookes then capitalizing; smashing Carter with a Yakuza Kick to the face before locking in the Octopus Stretch! Carter was out, and there was no coming back - The Referee calling for the bell as Ben Carter couldn't answer the Referee's call.

Chris Brookes (W) - 08:34 Match Time.

"YOUR WINNNEERRRRR, ANDDDD QUALIFYING FOR THE DIAMOND RING TOURNAMENT! CHRRIISSSS! BRROOOOKEEEESSSS!" - Justin Roberts

Referee Official Mike Posey raises the arm of Chris Brookes in victory before Brookes turns to Ben Carter and the two men shake hands to the applause of the Charlotte crowd. Tony & Daniels congratulate both men at the commentary desk before Schiavone reminds us that the Diamond Ring Tournament will see the Semi-Finals & Final take place at Winter is Coming! December 18 - American Bank Centre, Corpus Christi, Texas!

4atTsZB.png

We now see a vignette which showcases a dimly lit up Gym. A British flag adorns the background as a shadowy figure stands striking a swinging punch back. Bam! Bam! Jab after jab, punch after punch, each one hitting the bag with real force and intent.

A strong British voiceover then narrates the vignette.

"I've been fighting since I was 12 years of age!"
is the first words spoken as the voiceover talks about winning Gold in the 2004 Junior Olympics! The voiceover then says that in 2005 he won Gold again at the IBA Cadet World Championships before saying that he then became a true hero by representing Great Britain in the 2012 London Olympics! The Voiceover says how success in his blood and he's achieved everything by knocking down anyone that stood in his way.

The voiceover then says how in 2012 he fulfilled his prophecy and became a star by signing with Golden Boy Boxing Promotions! He then goes on to say, he achieved everything he wanted too in Boxing, and now it's time to conquer a new sport - the sport of Professional Wrestling!

The shadowy figure stops punching the back and appears to face the camera.

The voiceover then says how All Elite Wrestling, now has an All Elite Athlete! And he's coming to do what he always does, knock people out and win some gold.

1679439599580.png

"I'm the Golden Boy, Anthony Ogogo! But you can call me, the Guv'nor!" - Anthony Ogogo

The vignette then ends with Ogogo flashing a smirk and clenching his fist at the camera as the footage fades to black.

1679439710645.png

Christopher Daniels talks about Ogogo and says he's been in the wrestling industry along time, but he's never seen anyone with a harder hit in the business, and it's going to be lights out for anyone if he connects with a strike! Tony Schavione says that we've seen a lot of people transition from combat sports, to wrestling and he's heard good things about Anthony Ogogo, a former 2x Gold winner, and Olympian boxer! Schiavone says he's excited on what Ogogo can bring to All Elite Wrestling!

Footage then flashes back from commentary to the ring where Justin Roberts is ready to announce the next match of the evening! In the ring ready are two slender and seemingly green wrestlers who are adorned with the British flags across their back and simple Blue & Red tights. Chris Daniels confirms these two men to be the Sons of legendary British Icon - 'Dynamite Kid' Tom Billington! Mark & Thomas, the Billington Bulldogs!

STRANGLEHOLD!!

"ANNDD THEIR OPPONENTS!! REPRESENTING THE LEGENDARY VON ERICH FAMILY! MARSHALL! AND ROSS! THE VONNNN ERRIICCHHHSSS!"
- Justin Roberts

1679439813357.png
The Charlotte crowd pop for one of the largest wrestling names in history, the Von Erichs! Marshall & Ross make their way down the ramp with cousin Lacey as Tony Schiavone & Chris Daniels wax lyrical over the history and generations of wrestling that currently stand in the DARK ring. They inform those at home that Marshall & Ross are son's of legend, Kevin Von Erich! And they're accompanied by their cousin; Lacey Von Erich, the Daughter of the late and great, Kerry Von Erich!

Match Two: The Von Erich's (Marshall & Ross) W/ Lacey Von Erich vs Billington Bulldogs (Mark & Thomas)

Summary:
There was a good feeling for this one as two generations of wrestling families came face to face inside the ring and started the match with a handshake. Soon as the ring bell sounded though, the difference in experience and ability showed as Marshall & Ross Von Erich took complete control. Despite the name value, Mark & Thomas are at the very start of their careers and it was soon obvious that they were no match for the former MLW Tag Team Champions! Marshall latching in the IRON CLAW in a call back to their legacy before Marshall would release it right at the same moment as Ross landed with a Tornado Punch knocking down Mark Billington with a huge strike in a call back to the 'Texas Tornado' Kerry Von Erich! Marshall then scoring with the cover! One! Two! Three!

The Von Erich's (W) - 03:32 Match Time.

"ANNDDDD YOUURRRR WINNNEERRSSS! MARSHALL! ROSS! THE VON ERICHS!" - Justin Roberts

Marshall & Ross celebrate with Lacey as the Charlotte crowd applaud. Chris Daniels & Schiavone praise the victory from the Von Erich's and suggest they look ready to make their mark here in All Elite Wrestling and they suspect it won't be long before they're competing on Dynamite! The camera catches the Billington Bulldogs, Mark & Thomas walking back up the ramp, heads slumped down knowing they were comfortably beaten tonight and that they've got a long way to go in this business to reach the heights and expectations of the famous British Bulldogs.

1679439928043.png

After a quick commercial hyping up the next Wednesday Night Dynamite which will be emanating from Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee! The camera crew catch up with the Billington Bulldogs who look really down after their loss and it's about to get worse for them as they bump into..

1679440102999.png

...'The Bastard' PAC! PAC still dressed from his match earlier on this evening with his hair drenched in sweat and water dripping from his head and draped over his face. PAC throws his head back and flashes the scowl across his face as he stares at both Mark & Thomas Billington like shit on the end of his boot. PAC opens his mouth and asks if they're REALLY related to the legendary Dynamite Kid?!

PAC says after that shambolic performance they should be embarrassed. PAC says he's the closest thing to a modern day 'Dynamite Kid' and in fact, he's better and always has been! He then tells a weary looking Mark & Thomas to watch him and learn! 'The Bastard' PAC then grabs his bag from below his feet and pushes it into the chest of Thomas before telling them both to follow him. Mark & Thomas stare at each other for a few seconds before shrugging and following PAC.

Tony Schiavone asks if PAC just some followers in the Billington Bulldogs? Daniels says that PAC is obviously very full of himself, but he is at the top of his game right now and there's not many wresters more gifted then 'The Bastard' PAC! The footage then returns to ringside.

1679440155257.png

We're back at ringside on DARK - but the ring has been transformed. We see a fancy backdrop with two black and white pictures of the late 'Hot Rod' Rowdy Roddy Piper! There's also what appears to be family photos of Roddy Piper and a young girl. In front of that is a table which appears to have some AEW merchandise of cups and magazines, and to the side of that are two chairs. We then see a smiling albeit slightly nervous lady in the middle of the ring with a microphone, ready to speak.

1679440203344.png

"Good evening wrestling fans! Welcome to the first ever edition of.. TEAL PIPER'S PIT!" - Teal Piper

The Charlotte crowd give a warm reception and applause for Teal Piper who looks more at ease now to the acceptance from the crowd and begins to tap her chest and mouths "Thank you" as the crowd chant the name of the legend 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper!

Teal then continues on and says that it's time to pay the piper with her first ever guest. Undefeated on DARK, and racking up win after win! She is a former World of Stardom Champion! And a 2x Goddess of Stardom Champion! Bea Priestley!

TOP GAIJIN!!

1679440337317.png

The eccentrically dressed and uniquely styled Priestly steps out from behind the curtain to a mixture of support. Some are cheering while others are booing. Bea though doesn't seem to care either way, not even remotely acknowledging the crowd as she makes her way down to the ramp, enters the ring and walks past Teal Piper who had her hand stretched out to shake hands and greet the former Stardom wrestler. Teal awkwardly giggles before shrugging her shoulders and turning back to Bea. Teal goes to ask her first question but Priestly seems in no mode to play nice, grabbing the second microphone and speaking over Teal Piper.

Bea asks if this is rookie open mic night? She says she's aware this was a "developmental" special with 'Becoming the.. Elite!' wannabees coming on to her show but this is a real low. She says that Teal isn't even a wrestler, she's here because of her Father, and that's the only reason this crowd of idiots applauded you because they're all thinking like I am.. What a cheap imitation you are, of a show that was overrated back in it's day and is long dead now, thankfully so. Bea's brutal words now earning loud boos from the Charlotte crowd as they begin to chant "YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!" in the direction of Priestley who just rolls her eyes.

Bea Priestley then says she has a question for Teal Piper. She asks how long does she think she can sucker AEW into this nostalgia act before she's appearing at comic cons and public appearances, begging for people to have a picture and autograph with her?

Teal looks on, totally taken back by the words of Priestley as she was clearly not expecting so much hostility from her first ever guest on the interview show. Teal though looks out towards the Charlotte crowd before smiling and then retorting to Bea.

"Well Bea, where I come from, we're taught to change the questions, just when they think they have all the answers! So let me ask you something. If you're so good.. How come you're not on Dynamite with the rest of the best wrestlers in the world that is All Elite Wrestling?!" - Teal Piper

The crowd give a small pop and cheer as Teal made reference to her Father's iconic quote. Bea though is now furious, she wasn't expecting any back talk from Teal Piper and begins to walk towards Teal who now drops the microphone and begins to back track away. Bea almost reaches teal when..

GATEKEEPER!!

1679440503714.png

Those in the know are already cheering, for those that don't, they're watching on with intrigue as the commentary team are quick to point out that's former 3x ROH Women of Honor Champion! The 'Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein! Chris Daniels informing us that Kelly is part of the 'Becoming the.. Elite!' inaugural class after returning from wrestling after a hiatus, and how she's been a standout due to her ability and experience.

Kelly Klein reaches ringside and enters the ring. She holds the ropes for Teal Piper to exit as the interview that was planned is clearly over with. Bea then begins to backtrack, surprised by the appearance of Kelly Klein as the two ladies stare off and begin to trade verbal's that haven't been picked up by the audio.

Bea picks back up the microphone and welcomes Kelly! Bea tells the Charlotte crowd that the last time she seen Kelly Klein she was teaming with her in Stardom, and that they won the Goddesses of Stardom Tag League in 2017! Bea says since then, her career has been consistently on the rise while... *Bea points at Kelly up and down* Kelly here basically got injured and then was sacked by Ring of Honor, and retired. Bea though quickly reacts and says but it's good to see you back, Kelly! Welcome back! Bea with an obnoxious smile across her face as she waves.

Kelly then picks up the microphone that Teal left behind and addresses Bea with intent in her voice. She says you're right Bea, we did win that.. and I did get injured, and yes, I did get fired.. but you're missing the part where I became a 3x Women of Honor Champion in between! While you.. Well, you're still Will Ospreays girlfriend and that's the highlight of your career, isn't it? Bea just stares with looks that could kill as Kelly begins to smile and the crowd are cheering at the burn from Kelly Klein.

Kelly then says that she didn't come out here to talk, she's here to wrestle! She challenges Bea to a match tonight and says she put an end to Bea hot streak here on DARK! Bea laughs before shaking her head and wagging her figure as she mouths "No! No, No!" - Bea says this is her show, and she decides the terms! Bea says it's not going down tonight, maybe next week. Bea Priestley then exits the ring as Kelly Klein is forced to watch on as Bea heads back up the ramp. Bea blowing Kelly a kiss goodbye as the segment fades.

1679440564576.png

DARK returns from another in-house commercial, this time advertising some of the latest merchandise and shirts available to buy on AEW.Com. Schiavone & Daniels then confirm that it's almost time for the Main Event of the evening! It will be the second Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match! It's then over to Justin Roberts to announce Konosuke Takeshita vs Jiro Kuroshio!

Main Event: Jiro Kuroshio vs Konosuke Takeshita
Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match.

Summary:
Strong Style has arrived on DARK as even Jiro who's generally more comical looks focused and determined as the bell sounds and he goes face to face with Takeshita! The two men shake hands before an exchange of strikes emerge! Punches and chops, are followed by a string of kicks as each man is fired up! Christopher Daniels praises the scouting network within AEW and the coaches who have been involved in the 'Becoming the.. Elite!' process for finding these two gifted athletes! Daniels informing those at home Jiro is a multi-time Champion with Wrestle-1 of Japan, while Takeshita is a multi-time Champion in DDT Pro-Wrestling of Japan too! Both men are putting on a burner, the Charlotte crowd into the match as the two men exchange move after move.

The ending came with Takeshita on his knees and Jiro lining up the Ikeman Slash! A spinning heel kick attempt that seen Takeshita roll through and out of the way before kipping up and nailing Kuroshio with the Touchdown! A jumping cutter before dragging up Jiro and ending the contest with the ZAHI! A running kneestrike to the back of Jiro's head. Takeshita going for the cover! One! Two! Three!

Konosuke Takeshita (W) - 13:07 Match Time.

""YOUR WINNNEERRRRR, ANDDDD QUALIFYING FOR THE DIAMOND RING TOURNAMENT! KOONNOOOSUUKKEEEE! TAAAKKEESSSHHITTAAAAAAA!"
- Justin Roberts

1679440615944.png

Konosuke's arm is raised in victory and the Charlotte crowd applaud in appreciation for the spectacle of the Main Event as both men brought it! Jiro & Takeshita are bruised and exhausted as both men now stand up in the middle of the ring. Kuroshio bowing down and applauding as Takeshita bows back and the two men share a moment of respect before Takeshita is left in the ring to soak in the moment.

Christopher Daniels has now left the commentary desk and makes his way down the ramp. He shakes the hand of Kuroshio as he walks up the ramp, before entering the ring and congratulating Takeshita. Holding his arm up in the air so the Charlotte crowd can acknowledge him again. Chris Brookes then appears on the stage, makes his way down the ramp and shakes hands with Daniels before bowing to Takeshita, as Konosuke shakes the hands of Brooks as the crowd are again applauding.

Tony Schiavone reminds us that both Konosuke Takeshita & Chris Brookes have officially qualified for the Diamond Ring Tournament and will compete for the chance to wield the Diamond Ring at Winter is Coming! Schiavone then thanks the fans for tuning in tonight, and for supporting All Elite Wrestling! He says he will seen the fans in Nashville, Tennessee, for the next Wednesday Night Dynamite!

I've been catching up on this thread after seeing it within the shuffle when I popped up after the closure of the other joint. Glad to see it's continued over here and I really enjoyed the most recent Dynamite and the Dark you've posted. I thought the Bea and Kelly segment was top-notch, and great use of a secondary program to position a strong angle that easily could've gotten lost on the main show. Bea claiming it's her show, refusing the fight tonight, and then somewhat committing to a match "maybe" next week is a nice touch and really positions the heat on Bea.

The MJF and Cody stuff came off really well on Dynamite as well. Interested to see how you continue to shape that in your own world.

CM Punk's segment was a good building block. Interested to see how you position his in-ring return now that you've got a timeframe to work with. I'd love to see some original feuds with people he hasn't worked with IRL.

Overall, great to see this thing is still kicking. Will be reading and commenting as much as I can.

The Diamond Tournament has always been something that was best used to prop people up and put them on the map.
I can't say I'm familiar with either of your winners on Dark, but look forward to seeing the build and rub this gives them.

The Von Erichs crushing the Bulldogs was (honestly) a little disappointing at first. I was hoping for a little more from the UK team to give them a little more shine, but looping PAC in with them would certainly do that.

Injecting Beau and Klein to be the main no-wrestling angle gave it a little more uniqueness and made it stand out. Both women (and Piper) all seemed more interesting than I remembered them. Very good character work.

As always, this looks great, Deco

"A!E!DUB! A!E!DUB! A!E!DUB!" is the chorus from the Nashville crowd as the Dynamite theme blares from the speakers and the pryo blazes around the stage. The camera does a full pan of the sold out Nashville Municipal Auditorium as All Elite Wrestling's Wednesday Night Dynamite is LIVE!

We get a short welcome from good ole' Jim Ross and his broadcast partner; Tony Schiavone! They welcome everyone to another edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite! LIVE from music city; Nashville! Before Jim Ross or Tony Schiavone can say anymore, attention then turns to the stage where the theme of the AEW World Champion begins to play and 'music city' is in fine voice; singing along in jubilant fashion.

JUDAS!!

A mixed reception is heard as a grinning Chris Jericho enters the stage after successfully defending his AEW World Championship at Revolution. The Championship glistening around his shoulder as Jericho stands and stares out towards the Nashville crowd - smiling as they sing the lyrics to his song. Trailing behind him is the menacing undefeated MMA grappler 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager! After a few more seconds, out comes Sammy Guevara and his appearance is instantly greeted with some laughs. Sammy sporting an over the top bandage across his head with an ice pack strapped to his chin - clearly the 'Spanish Sex God' still reeling from the punch heard around the world from one Cain Velasquez at Revolution!

The singing of 'Judas' now halting and Nashville revert to "YOU GOT KNOCKED OUT! YOU GOT KNOCKED OUT!" as Sammy begins motioning for the crowd to stop, of course this having the opposite affect as 'Big Hurt' places his hands across the ears of Sammy as they make their way down the ramp headed to the ring.

In the ring already are the team of CIMA & Shigehiro Irie of The Strong Hearts! Confirmation from Tony Schiavone that we're starting Dynamite off hot with a tag team match as they're set to face AEW World Champion 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho & 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager!

Match One:
Strong Hearts (CIMA & Shigehiro Irie) vs 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho & 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager

Summary:
The match started with the two big men - Hager & Irie standing tall and trading strike for strike as neither man backed down. Hager though would soon take control, using his superior grappling and wrestling to take down Ire with a variation of suplexs, almost like he was trying to send a message directly to Cain. The match then changed as the veterans entered the ring. CIMA & Jericho locked up and traded holds before Jericho broke away and slapped CIMA across the face before calling him 'junior' as he strutted around the ring.

Despite CIMA firing up, and Irie putting on another good display - Hager & Jericho took advantage as Sammy played his part at ringside, winding up the crowd and reacting to 'Big Hurt' & Jericho's every move while still settling his jaw every time he got too excited. The ending came with CIMA walking right into a JUDAS EFFECT from Jericho before the legal man Hager scooped him up with a uranage and locking in the Arm triangle choke as CIMA begins to yell in pain and starts to tap as Official Mike Posey calls for the bell.

'Le Champion' Chris Jericho & 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager (W) - 07:20 Match Time.

"ANNDD YOUR WINNERS! 'BIG HURT' JAKE! HAGER! & 'LE CHAMPION' CHRIS! JERRICCHHOOOOOO!" - Justin Roberts

Referee Mike Posey attempts to raise the hands of Hager & Jericho when Sammy enters the ring and pushes him out of the way, presenting Jericho with his AEW World Championship before the three men stand together and pose for the booing Nashville crowd. Jericho then calls for a microphone and begins to speak.

'Le Champion' raises his Championship in the air and talks about despite all the odds against him at Revolution - He still stands as 'Le Champion' - The AEW World Champion! Hager & Sammy applauding him as mostly boos from the Nashville crowd are heard as Jim Ross reminds us that Jericho defeated 'Hangman' Adam Page.

Jericho then continues on and turns his attention to CM Punk. The mere mention of his name gets a pop from the crowd as Jericho scrunches up his face and calls him a phony! Suggesting he's only back because he's jealous of Chris Jericho's success! Jericho telling Nashville that he's never failed in any part of his career. Jericho then lists his achievements - Rock Star! Dancing with the stars! Multi-Time World Champion! Guaranteed Future Hall of Famer while CM Punk is nothing more than a memory to basement dwelling MARKS!

Cue the boos from the crowd as Hager & Sammy agree and nod along with Jericho's words.

1681341669975.png

Jericho goes on to say that Punk should forget about making a comeback but that if he really wants to fight - He's got a fight for him! If he can get himself ready in time, he's got 6 weeks till Winter is Coming! Then he's got a match against..

Jericho is now fired up and begins to flex a little, suggesting Punk is about to face the Champion when..

"SAMMY GUEVERA! THE SPANISH SEX GOD!" - Chris Jericho

Sammy is now wide eyed as he stares at Jericho before trying to whisper in his ear, and telling him about his hurting jaw as again we get another shot of the over the top bandage and ice pack strapped to his face. The crowd laughing as they begin to chant "C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK!"

Jericho telling Sammy it's fine and geeing him up as Hager begins to rub Sammy's shoulders, almost already preparing him for the match up. Sammy growing in confidence as nods and begins to shadow box before again clutching his jaw in comical fashion.

Focuses then switches from CM Punk and to Konnan. Jericho calling Konnan a never-was washed up gangster that still thinks he's calling the shots. Jericho will credit Konnan a little and will say he did surprise them at Revolution, and how admittedly. Cain is dangerous! But says it doesn't matter because Cain Velasquez is stepping into their world and it's going to be a world of.. BIG! HURT! Jericho then finishes by talking about the Diamond Ring Tournament and how the ring barer can use the ring to get a match for his AEW Championship at any point, any time! Jericho will say he's hot-property and he's got everyone coming for his World Championship and how it's maybe time to expand the 'Inner-Circle' he's created and make sure that this AEW World Championship doesn't go anywhere!

Jericho then drops the microphone before holding up his Championship as his 'Inner-Circle' of Hager & Sammy join him in flipping off the camera and exiting the ring, heading back up the ramp.

1681341720193.png

The camera then pans up to Tony Schiavone who has left his chair at the broadcast table and is standing on the stage with a microphone in hand ready to make an announcement.

1681341754779.png

Tony greets the Nashville crowd and says that following last weeks Dynamite and the announcement of the 'Winter is Coming!' Diamond Ring Tournament, and the conclusion of the 'Becoming the.. Elite!' special edition of DARK! He can now confirm that Konosuke Takeshita & Chris Brookes have officially qualified and will compete with 14 other men from Dynamite for the chance to wield the ring and the barer will earn the oppertunity to face the AEW World Champion at any point, at any time!

Schiavone then goes on and says that he can now confirm the 14 random men from Dynamite that have been selected and will compete to earn the Diamond Ring!

"DAGA!

'THE BASTARD' PAC!
JUNGLE BOY!
FRANKIE KAZARIAN!

MATT JACKSON!
ANGELICO!
ADAM 'HANGMAN' PAGE!
MVP!
'THE NATURAL' DUSTIN RHODES!
CHRIS HERO!

AND THE 'AMERICAN NIGHTMARE' CODY RHODES!" - Tony Schiavone

After each name a graphic appeared on the big screen allowing the crowd to join in on the drama with cheers and boos for the wrestler named by Tony. Schiavone then thanks the crowd and finishes the announcement by mentioning that the tournament will officially begin next week on Dynamite! LIVE in Indianapolis!

1681341825261.png

Dynamite returns from the commercial break and we're welcomed back by Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone who announce we're getting set for the second match of the evening. Jim Ross reminds us of the situation between PAC and the Best Friends at Revolution before we see footage of last weeks Dynamite where PAC went one on one with Trent, tapping him out to the Brutalizer and continuing his undefeated streak. We see post-match footage of PAC attacking Chuck Taylor and also latching in the Brutalizer to send a message.

Jim Ross confirming that Trent suffered some minor injuries but it hasn't stopped Chuck Taylor stepping up and seeking revenge as he faces 'The Bastard' PAC.. NEXT!

Match Two:
'The Bastard' PAC W/ The Billington Bulldogs vs Chuck Taylor

Summary:
The match started with 'The Bastard' mocking Chuck and asking where his 'Best Friend' is as he looked out towards the Nashville crowd and pretended to search for him. Chuck just smirking before firing up and out of nowhere catching PAC off-guard with a right hook! 'The Kentucky Gentleman' laying into PAC with punch after punch before knocking PAC down with a drop-kick - sending the Englishman rolling out of the ring and kicking the stairs in frustration before snarling at the cheering crowd for Chuck Taylor and telling them to shut up! After a few seconds of taking up the Referee's count - PAC entered the ring and did so much more aggressively - relentless in his pressure on Chucky as he took control of the match!

PAC clutching up Chuck with a bridging German suplex before teasing the Nashville crowd and took to the top turnbuckle, teasing the return of the Black Arrow! As the crowd waited in anticipation - PAC instead dropped down and locked in the BRUTALIZER!!! Chuck-T in a world of pain as he was locked in with nowhere to go. Chuck mouthing he submits to Referee Rick Knox before tapping as Knox calls for the bell and signals the end of the match.

'The Bastard' PAC (W) - 06:35 Match Time.

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNER! HE IS THE BASTARD! PAAACCCCC!" - Justin Roberts

Despite Referee Knox calling for the bell to end the match and Justin Roberts announcing the victory, as always the case lately, 'The Bastard' PAC keeps the Brutalizer locked in! Chuck now passed out as Knox attempts to break him free but PAC too strong, perhaps sending a message to everyone in the upcoming Diamond Ring Tournament. Two people who were watching on with most intrigue were Mark & Thomas Billington of the Billington Bulldogs as PAC stares right at them and they're almost nodding along, perhaps studying and learning from this mentor like relationship that seems to have formed.

'The Bastard' breaks the hold and releases Chuck before Knox requested more help from the back. PAC now standing and snarling at the audience with his hair draped across his face before demanding a microphone from someone at ringside. PAC then throws his head back, clearing the hair from his face before speaking..

1681341907448.png

"FINALLY! FINALLY! Not even the company can hold me back on my QUEST to prove that I am the ONE.. TRUE.. ELITE! Of All ELITE Wrestling! FATE has decided MY place in the Diamond Ring Tournament and soon... I.. THE BASTARD will sit at the winter throne as the BASTARD.. KING! With the ring around MY finger, wielding the power it possess and there will be nothing ANYONE can do about it. And should they try.. THEY will fall, victimized and BRUTALIZED like everyone else!" - PAC

The crowd boo the words of 'The Bastard' PAC but the commentary broadcast are quick to remind people that PAC is undefeated in All Elite Wrestling and has been red hot since joining the promotion as a surprise opponent at All Out against Kenny Omega in August. Jim Ross asks if anyone can stop 'The Bastard' or if they will fall victim to PAC and be brutalized?

1681341955773.png

The LIVE footage cuts from ringside and we're backstage with all three members of SoCal Uncensored. Daniels, Kazarian & Scorpio Sky reacting to the news that Kazarian was selected to take part in the Diamond Ring Tournament. Christopher Daniels appears to be leading the conversation, perhaps an attempt to rally the group back together after some tension and with MVP trying to lure Scorpio Sky away.

Chris Daniels says that he knows 'SCU' have been having their issues as a group lately and he knows that perhaps Sky has been feeling a little left out with him and Kaz chasing the AEW Tag Team Championships but they're ALL one team and need to pull together for good of SoCal Uncensored. Chris Daniels goes on to say that Kazarian has a huge oppertunity in the Diamond Ring Tournament and we need to support him.

Sky for a moment looks away before eventually nodding as Daniels waited for a more positive reaction. Kazarian perhaps sceptical of Scorpio's allegiance but he too nods along with the words of Daniels. Chris Daniels then asks for everyone to put their hand in.

Daniels then holds his arm out and waits for Kazarian & Sky. First Kaz, placing his hand on top of Daniels, and then a couple of seconds later - Scorpio Sky follows with his hand too before all three men break on three and Scorpio Sky asks if he can get anyone a drink? Daniels & Kaz both say no, before Scorpio exits the locker room and takes a deep breath. Sky then takes a few steps down the hall way before he's greeted by a smiling 'MVP' who approaches Scorpio Sky who looks less than pleased to see him.

"What do you want, 'P?" - Scorpio Sky

MVP asks about Kazarian being in the Diamond Ring Tournament and says that he bets the Head of Talent Relations who definitely didn't have a say in the outcome is happy his friend Kaz is in the tournament, right? 'MVP' smirking as he's clearly implying that Christopher Daniels selected Kazarian and that the selection process wasn't random as suggested by Tony Schiavone.

Scorpio just ignores the words of 'MVP' - continuing to walk on as Montell shuffles behind him still talking.

'MVP' says it's interesting to him why he would pick Kazarian over Scorpio though? Because he see's the talent in Sky that Daniels doesn't and that's why you need to be with me, Scorpio. Montell then asks Scorpio if he knows who else is in the tournament? Clearly referring to himself. 'MVP' goes on to say that he got Scorpio on the Revolution card and that he could get him in the Diamond Ring Tournament too. Montell says he's no longer deep in the wrestling game, he's a businessman, he's a smart man. He says Scorpio can take his spot, and all he's got to do his shake his hand and stand side by side with me.

Scorpio stops walking, perhaps taken back by the words of Montell. 'MVP' holds out his hand with a grin on his face as Sky looks at him, perhaps debating the offer in his head before continuing to walk on. The camera then zooming in on the face of 'MVP' as his facial expression as completely changed from a confident smirk to frustration and shock. Montell begins to yell back at Scorpio who walks in the distance.

"I ain't goin' to keep asking you, boy. Time to start to making some better life choices homie, or you gon' be in the shadow of Kazarian & Christopher Daniels for the rest of your career, ya' hear me? This the last time I offer you this deal - Don't come running back to me when your career fades away! I'm a businessman; Money don't wait for nobody man! I keep it moving" - MVP

1681341996519.png

The camera footage then switches from the backstage with 'MVP' to the concourse of the Nashville Municipal Auditorium where we see a raucous bunch of AEW fans queuing up for drinks, food and merchandise while wearing various wrestling shirts of the present and past. The camera pans around the crowd as more fans gather and begin chanting "A! E! DUB! A! E! DUB! A! E! DUB!"

The noise then gets louder as the camera crew appear to moving to the bar where a loud bunch of fans have gather and backstage interviewer Jenn Decker has a microphone in hand and is calling over the camera crew. The crew catch up and we see a wild 'Cowboy' - Adam 'Hangman' Page, drink in hand, crowd cheering as he sinks a bottle of beer down while sat at a bar - bottles all around him as fans are chanting his name.

"HANG-MAN! HANG-MAN! HANG-MAN!" as Adam Page appears to be feeding off their vibes and energy as he continues to sip away and asks the bartender for another drink. Jenn catches up with 'Hangman' as he notices the camera and looks slightly surprised. Jeen tries to speak to Adam but he can't hear a thing. Page asking the crowd to settle down as he asks Jenn if she wants a drink?

Jenn Decker declines before asking Adam for his thoughts on the announcement today that he is one of the 14 men selected from Dynamite in the Diamond Ring Tournament? 'Hangman' looks puzzled, before asking "What?" - Clearly Page hasn't been taken any notice of the show, and the bottles of beer would suggest that's he's been occupied at the bar racking up a tab.

1681342081410.png

Jenn explains to 'Hangman' that he's in the Diamond Ring Tournament and it starts next week in Indianapolis at the Indiana Farmers Coliseum! 'Hangman' Page's face is one of shock. He asks Jenn once again if she's sure to which she nods and politely smiles. Page goes to take another sip of his beer before perhaps thinking of the oppertunity he now has and smiling - handing the beer to a fan who is delighted with the memento. Page then asks for the microphone before standing up and speaking..

"It sounds like lady luck is shining down on this ole' Cowboy! I've got one final chance, one final shot at getting back to the top and challenging for the gold. The road to the AEW Championship starts once again in Indianapolis! I'll see you all there!" - Adam Page

The crowd give a pop for Adam Page who is now all smiles as he motions to the bartender for another round of drinks for the fans before leaving the area and assumingly starting to plan for the upcoming tournament.

1681342120323.png

"That 'Cowboy' can sure drink, Jim!" - Tony Schiavone

"He sure can, Tony. Maybe, not healthy might I add, partner. We've all been there, difficult times, he's had some heart-breaking losses really and you can see it's got to him - but he's got another chance! And I wouldn't write off Adam 'Hangman' Page winning this whole tournament and challenging once again for the World Championship!" - Jim Ross

"I agree, Jim. Third time could be the charm for the talented 'Hangman' Page! Speaking of talented; Up next are Marc Quen & Isiah Kassidy of the Private Party! They've been going through a difficult spell lately, struggling with a loss of confidence but they've got the chance to get right back on track with a victory against Santata & Ortiz of LAX! Up.. NEXT!" - Tony Schiavone

The footage then returns to ringside where Justin Roberts announces the third match of the evening.

Match Three:
Private Party (Quen & Kassidy) vs LAX (Santana & Ortiz) W/ Diamante.

Summary:
Good tag team action was on display as perhaps AEW's most naturally athletic team in Private Party went up against the street wise hard-knock team of LAX! Quick and frequent tags were on display as both teams shared the momentum. LAX taking on the role as the more natural heels in the match as they looked to keep Private Party grounded with their brawling and street-fighting style. Action spilled to the outside as Santana & Ortiz were beating down on Kassidy - hitting him with a double suplex onto the flooring. Marc Quen then showing his high-flying ability as he ran the ropes and leaped over the top, clearing the ring with ease before landing down on both members of LAX!

Nashville are watching on with excitement as the tag team action continues. Private Party looking more confident than they have done in months as they sense a big upset on the cards. Diamante on the outside trying to rile up her boys and get them back on track. Kassidy placed Ortiz on the top turnbuckle as Private Party set up for GIN AND JUICE! Santana though would nail Kassidy with a super kick, clearing him out of the ring. Quen would launch Ortiz from the top rope with a top rope Frankenstiener but Santana was waiting to catch his partner and did so. Ortiz now back on his feet and with Santana ready too, LAX struck! A powerbomb from Ortiz into a blockbuster combination from Santana as both combined for the.. STREET SWEEPER! ONE! TWO! THREE!

1681342185572.png

Dynamite returns from a quick break and we're backstage with Pentagon Jr in deep dialogue with Selina de la Renta. The conversation is inaudible until the camera crew edges a little closer and is able to pick up the context of the conversation - a mixture of Spanish & English.

Salina with her hands caressing the face mask of Penta' as she runs her fingers down the chest place of Pentagon's attire as she speaks to him in a seductive but forward tone.

"Deberías haber sido tú Penta! It should have been you! Tu hermano, Fenix! He doesn't have what it takes to grab the Diamond Ring, and concur All Elite Wrestling! Puedes hacerlo, Pentagon. Rey Fenix doesn't deserve this chance that should have been yours. Listen to me, and I can help.." - Selina de la Renta

Selina was now very close to Pentagon, almost whispering in his ear as Penta was almost in a trance as he looked into the eyes of Selina. The trance soon broke as Rey Fenix entered the camera shot.

"Hola hermano! Yo, Penta! What she doing here? Por qué?" - Rey Fenix

Selina now backs away from Penta and smiles at Rey entering the focus as Fenix just looks at her and asks Pentagon Jr why she's still here? Penta' shakes his head - almost like he's coming back from being under a spell as Fenix begins ushering him out of the shot and tells him they've got a big match tonight. As of now, they're officially representing AAA on AEW Dynamite as the AAA Tag Team Champions! Fenix carrying both belts put one across the shoulder of his Brother and carries the other before ushering Penta further away. Rey starts to follow behind before spinning back around as Selina began to trail behind them.

"Vete! Vamos! Go, Selina! We don't need you, Vamos!" - Rey Fenix

The AAA Tag Team Championships are now out of the camera shot completely as Selina scowls before stomping her feet like a child that didn't get her way. The footage then returns back to ringside where the next match of the evening is about to go down.

A spotlight then shines down on Shida who can be seen frantically and twisting in the ring- awaiting the appearance of the Decay. The lights then come back on and there stand Holidead, Thunder Rosa & Rosemary! THE DECAY! Shida looks around, and the camera picks up that she's staring at her trusty Singapore cane which is on the opposite side of the ring. Rosemary noticing this too, as he laughs before calling the demand to attack!

Holidead & Thunder Rosa then enter the ring along with Rosemary and begin talking Shida like a deer surrounded by a pack of hyenas.

A second across the back sends the Twisted Sisterz exciting the ring as a furious Rosemary begins screaming back at Ivelisse & Shida who now stand together. Shida bowing to Ivelisse as a 'thank you' before Ivelisse hands the cane back to Shida.

The commentary team once again identifying that the AEW Women's Division are continuing to unite against the tirade of Rosemary and the Decay! We get one last shot of Shida & Ivelisee staring back at the wounded and frustrated Decay as Rosemary drags and pulls Holidead & Thunder Rosa up the ramp, and back behind the curtain as she clearly isn't happy they've been one-upped despite taking out Kylie & Allie. Dustin says how both him and his Brother are in the Diamond Ring Tournament and how big of an oppertunity that is for him and Cody! Cody nods along before saying that his Brother Dustin is right. He says how tonight 'MJF' and the Friedman Family don't matter because they have to focus on their match tonight in the Main Event against the AAA Tag Team Champions! The Lucha Brothers!

1681342676324.png

The camera focus shifts from ringside and to the backstage interview pit area where the AEW Tag Team Champions, Nick & Matt Jackson are stood by with the daughter of wrestling Hall of Famer; 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper, Teal Piper! Teal with a beaming smile, clearly happy to be on Dynamite for the first time thanks her guests the Youngbucks for joining her at this time and confirms they've got a HUGE announcement they want to make in relation to the AEW Dynamite Special; Winter is Coming!

1681342706813.png

Nick & Matt thank Teal for the welcome, and also welcome her to Dynamite! Teal smiles and nods in excitement before the Bucks press on with their announcement. Matt talks about him and his Brother defending their AEW Tag Team Championships at Revolution! And what it meant to them to do so sharing the ring with Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels! Two men who they've shared the ring with and travelled the roads with many of times through the years, but to do so in Baltimore, in front of more than Nine thousand people for a company like All Elite Wrestling was a really cool moment.

Nick Jackson then says that him and his Brother despite their accomplishments and the many moments in their careers are always looking for the NEXT! NEXT match! NEXT moment! And so him and Matt want to focus on what's next, and next is.. WINTER IS COMING! Matt then takes back over and says that him and Nick have spoken with Tony Khan and they've been given the go-ahead to announce that at Winter is Coming their will be a #1 contenders Battle Royal match to determine the next in line for their AEW Tag Championships!

Nick then jumps in and says that's not all though! Nick says him and Matt have always been about putting Tag Team Wrestling on the map! And at Guerra de Elite Titanes in Mexico, him and his Brother will be defending their AEW Tag Championships to show Mexico and the WORLD that the best tag team in wrestling are the YOUNG BUCKS! And anyone that wants to step up - Can get a shot!

Teal Piper confirms the news back to the audience after reacting before thanking Nick & Matt Jackson for their time and wishing them good luck. The screen then fading as AEW takes it's final commercial break of the evening with the Main Event to come.

1681342734532.png

Jim Ross & Tony Schiavone welcome the All Elite Wrestling fans back to Dynamite LIVE on TNT! Jim Ross reminding us of the Main Event to come and says it's going be another showcase of the BEST tag team division in wrestling as the Rhodes Brothers will face the AAA Tag Team Champions; The Lucha Brothers!

Schiavone agrees with Jim Ross and adds to the scene, confirming it's Brothers vs Brothers in what should be a FANTASTIC wrestling match here on Dynamite! The commentary duo then hand over to Justin Roberts who's about to introduce the final match of the evening!

Main Event.
The Rhodes Brothers vs The Lucha Brothers.

Summary:
'Music City' is in fine voice and still full of energy for the Main Event of the evening as Cody & Dustin Rhodes stand opposed to Rey Fenix & Pentagon Jr! The Rhodes Brothers offer their hands out in a sign of respect to which the Lucha Bros shake before throwing up the 'Cero Miedo' as Nashville joins in! The ring bell then sounded and the match was under-way! Dustin Rhodes & Pentagon starting the match as again Penta threw up the 'Cero Miedo' - this time removing his glove and throwing it in the face of Dustin before the eldest Rhodes Brother would call back to his days as 'Goldust' with his breathe in, rubbing up his own chest, biting and exhaling in the face of Pentagon Jr as the two men exploded into action with a trade of punches!

The match then rolled on and kicked into gear when Cody and Rey Fenix entered the ring. Cody & Fenix trading holds and wrestling manoeuvres at lightening pace as Cody would even stop to applaud Rey Fenix's ability before dropping down and firing up with an uppercut. Cody using the edge he has with experience as Fenix relied on his quickness and cat-like ability. Nashville cheered and chanted "THIS IS AWESOME" as the Main Event was certainly delivering with both teams shining and trading control of the match. The ending came with the two legal men of Penta & Dustin Rhodes in the ring. Pentagon looking to dump Dustin on his head with a piledriver only for Cody to spring off the ropes and hit him with a.. DISASTER KICK! Penta then falling back into a hangman's neck-breaker from Dustin Rhodes! CURTAIN CALL!

Cody telling his Brother to go for the pin before he would eat a super-kick from an incoming Fenix! Cody tumbling through the middle rope before the cat-like Fenix would leap onto the top rope and spring off with a springboard senton bomb on top of Cody that sent the crowd into a frenzy! Back in the ring and Dustin looked to secure the match with the pin until..

"What the hell are the Friedman Family doing here? I thought they wasn't here tonight?!" - Jim Ross

With a smug look across his face, suited and booted, Maxwell Jacob Friedman is here in person with the Friedman Family of Aria Blake & Alex Hammerstone in tow. 'MJF' with a microphone in hand calling the name of Dustin Rhodes as he tried to distract the veteran with verbal insults. Dustin falls for the ploy and turns his back on Pentagon Jr enough that the Mexican takes advantage. Pentagon Jr with a BACKSTABBER to Dustin before dragging him off the canvas and finishing the match with the PENTAGON DRIVER! One! Two! Three!

Lucha Brothers (W) - 14:06 Match Time.

"ANNNDDD YOUR WINNERS! THEY'RE THE AAA TAG TEAM CHAMMPPIIOOONNNSSS! PEENTTAGGGOOON JR! REEEEYYYY FEENNIIXXXXX! THE LUCHA BROOTHHERSSSS!" - Justin Roberts

1681342862091.png

The Lucha Brothers pick up the huge win, grab their AAA Tag Team Championships and head to the back but the show is not over as attention turns to the circling Friedman Family who are now stalking the Rhodes Brothers. Alex Hammerstone driving Cody Rhodes back first into the steel crowd barrier as he attempted to stand up before dragging him back up and dropping him throat first across the steel. 'MJF' all smiles before taking off his scarf and using it to choke the 'American Nightmare' as Cody tries desperately to escape.

"OH COME ON! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" - Tony Schiavone

Despite the thoughts of Schiavone and the booing Nashville crowd; The Friedman Family are not done. Turning towards the ring and seeing Dustin Rhodes now coming around. Hammerstone waiting with a huge discuss lariat clothesline almost taking Dustin out of his boots before Maxwell drags him up and adds insult to injury by delivering a CROSS-RHODES in the middle of the ring!

AEW Dynamite begins to fade as the commentary duo of Schiavone & Ross ask just how much personal this feud can get between the Rhodes & Friedmans? Jim Ross then thanks everyone for tuning in tonight and confirms that Dynamite will be back next week LIVE from Indianapolis! Goodnight, everybody!

1681342909683.png

Dynamite fades before the footage returns. We see long and golden tanned legs walking in a pair of red heels. The sound of the foot steps being heard as the camera pans up. Click-Klop, the sound of the heels walking across the paved flooring as a lady is exiting the parking lot towards a Black tinted out limousine that's just pulled up. The door of limo swinging open for the lady to enter, and take her seat in the back. The camera focus now changing so we can see her face as she begins to apply more lipstick, completely calm, clearly she was anticipating this limousines arrival.

1681342947081.png

"What is taking so long? I brought you to Dynamite as agreed, and you're yet to fulfil your end of the bargain, Selina. I am running out of patience" - ???

We're unable to see who is speaking, and a voice changer is in use. Selina now looks slightly more anxious than before as she puts her lipstick away and begins to speak.

"I'm working on it. I might not be able to bring you both, but I promise to bring you the one you want as agreed. I-I just need more time" - Selina de la Renta

"The plans are already in motion, Selina. Your time is running out. Jacksonville, Florida! January 1st, 2020. Do NOT make me regret this, Selina. Get out!" - ???

Selina nods her head before exiting the vehicle and closing the door as the limousine speeds off into the distance. Selina taking out her phone and appears to make a phone call when a card attached to the phone falls from her pocket and to the floor below. Selina now on the phone but the audio isn't audible to the trailing camera as she leaves the scene. The camera then steps forward and points towards the card on the floor to reveal..

The episode of All Elite Wrestling Dynamite then comes to a close as the scene fades to Black.

AEW Dynamite - November 20, 2019:

I’ve always toyed with the idea of doing an AEW diary from the very beginning, but always felt that there was simply far too much ground to cover. I’ve glanced this over previously, but I’m interested in how things appear eight episodes in. I like the decision to use real life images to provide visuals as to what key segments featured.

Interesting decision to have Chris Jericho and Jake Hager go over Strong Hearts. I’m sure the action would have been interesting, albeit perhaps a bit of a styles clash. CIMA and Shigehiro Irie didn’t last a great deal longer if I recall. It provided the AEW World Champion a strong win (no pun intended), and gives the Inner Circle that early boost of dominance they need to show they run AEW. Good post-match promo that read true to real life. CM Punk being present this early in is your big major hook to this diary. I’m a big fan of that conceptually as the overriding story leading into year 2 of the promotion. Where Konnan comes in is an interesting one. It is true that Cain Velasquez was involved with Crown Jewel around this time, but politicially I think it’s fascinating you’re teasing the direction of Cain against Jake Hager, based off their MMA careers. This segment was a big hit, and also worked in setting up Sammy Guevara for his match with Punk.

Good idea to roll with the idea of the Dynamite Diamond Ring. I feel like you could have put an interesting spin in teasing a win for MJF, just to surprise the reader and give it to somebody else. A fascinating blend of people in here, with Chris Hero being the standout. He had a lot of intrigue after his April 2020 release from WWE, and it’s a shame he never stepped foot back in the spotlight once the pandemic came to an end. I do hope MVP doesn’t become a regular staple, I just can’t see him fitting too fluidly with the product, though I could be wrong.

PAC defeating Chuck Taylor simply makes sense. I’ve always been an unironic huge fan of Chuckie T, but PAC at this point is a big standout star for AEW. I’m not sure how I feel about using the Billington Bulldogs in 2019, as I feel like they may have been too young or too green at this point. It’s an interesting choice, nonetheless. Where’s Trent?

SCU’s promo was fine, and I guess this is where MVP could potentially fit in. I do feel like for how over the trio were, their shtick was a little miscast. That’s what you get when Being the Elite gets your catchphrases over bigtime, I guess. Either way, interesting spin with MVP trying to pry Scorpio Sky away. I hope this sees a longer story.

The big story of this tenure in AEW history is how you plan to utilise Hangman Page to his true potential. His rise was unquestionably the greatest success that AEW were able to achieve to date, even if a pandemic got in the way, and his AEW World Championship reign would fall without fanfare. This is where the merits of your commentary lines come in. Very true to life, and I like the note from Jim Ross stressing the importance of sobriety.

Santana and Ortiz going by their old LAX name is a positive decision, and I like Diamante, so I’m not mad to see her serve as their manager. I would presume they don’t have the connection with Chris Jericho, Sammy Guevara and Jake Hager in this world. Really this was the best combination of guys for Private Party to meet, given Marc Quen and Isaiah Kassidy were very green at this point.

A little research tells me Selina de la Renta is best known for her stint in MLW. It’s a unique take for the Lucha Bros, and I’m all on board with that. Death Triangle might work, but I always felt it was a weird choice to put Pentagon Jr and Rey Fenix with PAC. The joys of learning Spanish allowed me to understand the dialogue. Really nice touch and a compelling chemistry here.

It’s a shame how limited exposure Shanna received, no thanks to the pandemic. Hikaru Shida getting the win worked fine, and it made sense to see a story appear to develop with Thunder Rosa, Holidead and Rosemary. I’m not too sure how I feel about them going by the Decay given the lack of a relationship with Impact Wrestling at this time, unless I’ve missed something. I wonder how long it might be before Abadon rears her undead head. I was never too keen on Ivelisse, but this involvement seems to set up a multi-woman match of some kind. It’s always a fascinating “what if?” to consider Kylie Ray had mental health problems not plagued her. I also always thought Allie worked much better as a babyface. Never bought the psychotic side to the Bunny character.

Cody and Dustin Rhodes’ segment was really nice and truly emphasised the importance of families headed into the main event with the Lucha Bros. This read like something true to life, straight down to the Diamond Dallas Page mentions. Similarly, all Rhodes appear to lead to the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal next week, as they should.

It is perhaps a little bizarre to me to see Konnan not associated with Santana and Ortiz in LAX, but clearly he’s got his hands tied with this stuff with Chris Jericho and Jake Hager. I’ve never seen much of Daga, but I’ve heard mixed things. Considering the AEW World Championship is involved with this story, I would presume that Cain Velasquez will one day get a shot at Jericho’s title. I’m not sure, on one hand I’m here for the celebrity attraction but on the other, I kind of long for Jericho to have title programs of a little more substance with AEW competitors.

Kenny Omega and Jungle Boy had a great match in June 2021, but at this point I believe Jungle Boy was still trying to find his feet. It’s funny reading that Earl Hebner was still featured around this time. It’s also interesting to still see such a prevalence on the AAA working relationship, straight down to the AAA Mega Championship. Kenny and Jon Moxley’s feud really got AEW kicked off the right way with their Full Gear 2019 program. It’s the closest thing to The Rock vs Steve Austin at this point, I believe. Great promo to set up a rematch at Guerra de Elite Titanes. It’s interesting to me that you’re building a AAA pay-per-view as the next destination, and granted it’s an interpromotional thing, but when you consider this show is broadcasting on TNT to an American fanbase (and countless other countries), it’s fascinating politically that’s the direction we’re going. It’s an interesting marketing tactic.

The Young Bucks interview read well. Side note, I do like that the first pay-per-view in the AEW Dynamite era was revealed to be Revolution, as opposed to Full Gear. Since the Lucha Bros are AAA Tag Team Champions, I’m curious who might take them up on their challenge. Perhaps next week’s Battle Royal appearance for Matt Jackson will set things in motion.

Pretty smart to use MJF’s roots and connections from MLW to set in motion his feud with Cody Rhodes. I’ve never actually seen Alex Hammerstone work, but I’ve heard good things. That said, I do hope MJF isn’t tied down to this trio too long.

I liked the closing segment with the tease of the Dark Order’s arrival. I wonder how things might differ with this clear cult-like presence in motion. I also like how post-credits scene this segment felt, with intentions of setting up future shows and referencing events of the night that came before.

This was a strong edition of Dynamite that kept things moving. You have a solid grasp of where AEW was at this early into its lifespan. I am curious about the approach you might take once March 2020 comes around, as I’m sure you’ll have life without the COVID-19 pandemic in mind. I’ll be watching.

Episode Eight - #AEWDARK
YouTube
Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, TN
November 20, 2019

Dynamite has ended and so with it comes the lighting and stage change. Gone are the glistening bright lit up lights of Dynamite, and thus comes the raw, gritty, blacked out presentation of another edition of All Elite Wrestling; DARK!

We're welcomed to DARK by Tony Schiavone who reminds the viewers we're live from 'Music City' - at the Nashville Municipal Auditorium, Nashville, Tennessee! Tony then reminds us that as always he will be joined by a special guest at the commentary booth and how tonight will be no different. Tony welcomes his broadcast partner for tonight.. A wrestling veteran, 'The Knockout Artist' - Chris Hero! The camera than zooms out to showcase Hero sitting next to Schiavone with a beaming smile across his face and wearing a blazer jacket over the top of a CM Punk shirt before thanking Tony Schiavone for the welcome, and allowing him to join him tonight. Hero says how much he's looking forward to calling the action of what should be a good hour of wrestling, here on DARK!

We get some final pleasantries where Tony and Hero talk about Chris Hero helping some of these young kids that we're going to see tonight at the One Fall Power Factory on 'Becoming the.. Elite!' but how Hero is still very much active and is one of the men that's been selected to compete in the Diamond Dynamite Ring tournament. Hero talks about his delight at having the chance to go to 'Winter is Coming' and wield the ring which can be used to face the AEW World Champion, at any point, at any time! Hero says that his immediate focus though is earning a contract and being signed to this amazing company, and who knows, maybe he can impress someone back there with his commentary skills tonight! Schiavone & Hero share a brief laugh before Tony wishes him luck in the tournament and then confirms some of the action we're going to see tonight!

Schiavone confirms we will hear from both Chris Brookes & Konosuke Takeshita after their break out performances last week, and thus qualifying for the Diamond Dynamite Ring! We will also be in for a treat as the AAA Cruiserweight Champion comes to DARK! After issuing an open challenge for Guerra de Elite Titanes' - Laredo Kid will defend his Championship against 'Super-Bad' Kip Sabian, tonight!

Chris Hero than chimes in and says but first the women are in action as 'The Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein makes her AEW in-ring debut when she takes on Leva Bates!

..It's then over to Justin Roberts to announce the first match of the evening!

Match One: 'The Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein vs Leva Bates.

Summary:
Referee official Paul Turner checks on both Kelly & Leva before calling for the ring bell to sound the match, and the two veterans lock up! Leva pushing back the former 3x Women of Honor Champion before Kelly digs deep and begins to push Bates back, grabbing Leva in a headlock before dragging down Bates to the canvas and then latching in a scissor headlock in a show of experience and good ring technical ability.

The match rolled on and despite some glimpses of Leva Bates on top, this was very much a showcase for Kelly Klein who's impressed at the One Fall Power Factory down in Georgia. Chris Hero quick to tell us that he knows Klein from Ring of Honor and how she left the wrestling game at the top of her game due to starting a family, but now she's back with a point to prove!

Klein is now in control of the match and begins to ramp up energy. 'The Gatekeeper' hitting Bates with a big boot to the face knocking Bates down, before dragging her back up and 'adjusting her attitude' with the K POWER! Klein then staring down the camera and mouthing "are you watching?" - a message to Bea Priestly perhaps before locking in a guillotine choke! The RAINBOW CROSS! Bates begins to flail and kick her legs, one last scramble to escape before the 'Gatekeeper' tightens the hold and Bates begins to tap! It's over!

'The Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein (W) - 05:46 Match Time.

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNER! SHE IS THE GATE! KEEPER! KEELLYYYYYY KLLEEIINNNNNN!"
- Justin Roberts

1683324015795.png

Referee Paul Turner raises Klein's hand in victory as the former Women of Honor soaks in the Nashville applause. Tony Schiavone & Chris Hero full of praise for Kelly Klein as they remind the audience that despite Klein being considered a veteran in terms of experience and ability, she's only 31 and time is on her side to become a Champion once more in All Elite Wrestling!

1683324051878.png

The live footage heads backstage as we see the 'Top Gaijin' Bea Priestley watching a monitor from the back as Kelly Klein makes her way back up the ramp after her victory.

1683325042822.png

Priestley seemingly unimpressed with a scowl across her face as she turns away from the screen where Jenn Decker is approaching with a camera crew hoping to get a few words from the 'Top Gaijin'

Jenn Decker asks Bea for her thoughts after watching her former tag team partner; Kelly Klein! Get the victory against Leva Bates on her AEW and DARK debut? Bea reacts with an eyeroll before instantly playing down Kelly's victory and says that she's really starting to look her age in the ring. Bea says she respects "Mommy" Klein coming back but she's out of her depth here!

Jenn just looks at Bea, perhaps surprised by how much she's putting down her former tag team partner and trying to discredit her victory. Jenn pushes on with another question and asks why Bea is yet to accept the challenge from Kelly Klein if she truly believes and feels that way? Bea again scowls, just staring at Jenn Decker before suggesting that the 'Top Gaijin' does things on her time! NOT Kelly's time! Bea says SHE will decide when she beats Kelly Klein and proves to everyone that she was always the Michaels, and Klein was just Jannetty!

Bea then smirks before leaving the backstage area as Jenn Decker shrugs before the footage fades to black and we get a quick advertisement commercial break

1683324080818.png

DARK returns back from the commercial advertisement break where All Elite Wrestling's latest line of wrestling figures; Unrivalled is about to hit stores!

1683324104731.png

ony Schiavone suggesting that AEW fans can recreate the action they see on Dynamite & DARK by buying these figures and creating they're own shows at home! Chris Hero says there's nothing like getting an action figure made of yourself, and it's great to see the fans having fun with them!

DARK then rolls on as Tony says speaking of action and fun; Laredo Kid! The AAA Cruiserweight Champion is a highlight reel of both and he's in action next as he defends his Championship against 'Super-Bad' Kip Sabian! A preview of the action we are going to see at Guerra de Elite Titanes! Hero reminds Tony that this might not be the smartest idea from Laredo Kid - He's issued an open challenge at the Pay-Per-View but there's no guarantee he's leaving Nashville with the title still around his waist. This being a golden oppertunity for Kip Sabian!

AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
Match Two: Laredo Kid (C) vs 'Superbad' Kip Sabian.

Summary:
There was real intrigue from the Nashville crowd for many seeing the AAA Cruiserweight Champion; Laredo Kid for the first time. Laredo bowing to the audience and raising his arm in the acknowledgment of getting a warm welcome on DARK from the Nashville crowd. On the opposite side, Kip Sabian couldn't care less and looks focused on grabbing this golden ticket with both hands! The bell sounds and 'Superbad' jumps Laredo Kid from the get-go! Exchanging strikes and kicks, knocking down the Mexican wrestler and trying to keep him grounded as Chris Hero approves of the plan from Kip.

The match clock ticks on and this hasn't gone the way many had maybe expected. Kip Sabian fully in this match and has wrestled smart and aggressive - grounding Laredo Kid wherever possible and keeping him on his toes with frequent covers, trying to nab the victory and become Champion! Kip Sabian has Laredo Kid in the middle of the ring and tries to score with the DEATHLY HOLLOWS! An Argentine backbreaker sit out face buster but Laredo Kid is able to manoeuvre and rolls through with a roll up cover! One! Two! Panic is etched across the face of Sabian as he narrowly escapes and rushes to his feet only to be greeted by a super-kick that rocks the jaw of Sabian and it's quickly followed up by a roundhouse kick!

The momentum has now completely switched and Kip Sabian has seemingly lost his focus after almost being pinned out of the blue. The AAA Cruiserweight Champion is now in full control and is going through his repertoire of impressive moves as Nashville applauds along. The ending comes with 'Superbad' down on the canvas and Laredo Kid taking to the skies with a stunning.. LAREDO 630! A 630 degree turn Senton! Laredo Kid crushing against the body of Sabian before hooking the legs and scoring the pinfall; One! Two! Three!

Laredo Kid (W) - 08:34 Match Time

"YOUR WINNEERRRRRR, ANNNDDDD STILL AAA CRUISERWEIGHT CHAMPION! LAREEEDDOOOOO KIIIDDDD!"
- Justin Roberts

1683324147231.png

"Impressive!" is the call from Tony Schiavone as Laredo Kid picks up the victory and has successfully defended his AAA Cruiserweight Championship here on DARK! Hero agrees but also praises Sabian for his performance while suggesting that a lack of experience seemed to have cost 'Superbad' tonight, but gives kudos to the Champion who he reminds us will be defending his Championship in Mexico City, Mexico! Guerra de Elite Titanes live on Pay-Per-View!

1683324170567.png

The footage then cuts from ringside and to a vignette. The same strong British voiceover narrating as we see a busy London street, buildings in the background, police sirens being heard too. We then see a suited male, dressed to the nines with a flat cap and a suit jacket stepping out from an alley way.

"Away from that ring, I run these streets. I'm the top boy! And sometimes, you've got to do things that you don't want to do, to send a message" - Anthony Ogogo

We then see a clip of a gritty and dim lighted backstreet. Two bruisers holding a beaten and bloody man as the "Guv'nor" stands before him. Ogogo then taking money out of the beaten mans jacket before counting it, putting it in the inside of his jacket and then striking the man with a right hook - knocking him down and out.

"In the ring, it's competition. It's sport. Beating people up, it's fun. Outside of the ring, it's business! And I do what I've got to do to stay on top!" - Anthony Ogogo

We now see the 'Golden Boy' signing with All Elite Wrestling. Signing the contract and shaking hands with Tony Khan and various members of the media & wrestling journalists present as Ogogo poses for photos.

"And that's the mentality I'm bringing to All Elite Wrestling. I'll do what it takes to get to the top, and I'll knock out anyone in my way..

1683324203539.png

..I'm the Golden Boy, Anthony Ogogo! But you can call me, the Guv'nor!" - Anthony Ogogo

The vignette then ends with the message "COMING SOON" before fading to black.

1683324232678.png

DARK returns from it's final in-house commercial after showcasing various shirts and items of merchandise available for purchase on AEW.com - The footage doesn't return to ringside though, we see footage from last weeks DARK where we see Chris Brookes defeating 'The Prodigy' Ben Carter with the Octopus Stretch before we then see footage of Konosuke Takeshita defeating Jiro Kuroshio with a running knee strike. Both men announced on Dynamite having qualified for the 16-man Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament.

"Chris Brookes & Konosuke Takeshita, two impressive wrestlers that have been paying their dues in the indies of the United Kingdom & Japan respectfully, both now here in the big time of All Elite Wrestling and what an oppertunity they have to capture the Diamond Ring and challenge for the AEW World Championship, at any point, at any time, Schiavone!" - Chris Hero

"Well said, Chris! Who knows, you might even come up against one of them yourself but right now, it's there moment and I'm pleased to say we caught up with both Chris Brookes & Takeshita this week and asked them for their thoughts and feelings going into the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament with the Semi-Final and Final to come at Winter is Coming!" - Tony Schiavone

The footage then cuts to the Titantron where we see a 'split' video package from both Chris Brookes & Konosuke Takeshita reflecting back on their victories.

1683324322208.png

"I've been lucky enough to win many Championships in my early career but there's no doubt; THIS! This is the BIGGEST win of my career and I'm only just getting started. I want to WIN.. IT.. ALL! When I signed that 'Becoming the.. Elite' contract and I joined All Elite Wrestling, I haven't come here to make up the numbers and I want to be successful, I want to be World Champion!" - Chris Brookes

The footage then turns to Konosuke as we see subtitles at the bottom as he speaks.

"I respect, Chris Brookes. I know Chris from DDT Pro-Wrestling and he's a very good wrestler but in DDT, I was the MVP of the company. It was on my shoulders and now the future has arrived in All Elite Wrestling. I want to be the best wrestler in the world and I want to become King at Winter is coming! I will wear the ring, and I will capture the AEW World Championship!" - Konosuke Takeshita

1683324425253.png

"I respect, Takeshita san. He's a hell of a wrestler and sure, he was the man in DDT Pro-Wrestling but this is all Elite Wrestling! He's going to come up against different styles and I've wrestled them all. I can do Strong, Technical, I can do the high-flying too. It gives me the edge. I wish Konosuke all the best but this is my chance to make a mark on the wrestling industry and I'm not going to waste this oppertunity. I'm going to Winter is Coming and I'm going to be the ring barer and then become AEW Champion!" - Chris Brookes

1683324572627.png

"Our paths have crossed before, and if they do again, I will BEAT him! Chris is right, this is not Japan, it's not DDT Pro-Wrestling but I'm not a rookie anymore. I'm ready, and I'm going to fight. I'm going to fight until I'm the only one standing and I beat everyone in front of me to become the barer of the ring at Winter is Coming!" - Konosuke Takeshita

The vignette then ends and the camera returns back to the commentary booth.

1683324625037.png

"Chris, you can tell what this oppertunity means to both these young men. An oppertunity earned last week on DARK after going through the 'Becoming the.. Elite!' process down at the One Fall Power Factory in Georgia!" - Tony Schiavone

"You're right, Schiavone! Both of these men have EARNED the right to compete but make no mistake, it's not just about these two men. It's a loaded tournament. The UNDEFEATED 'Bastard' Pac! 'Hangman' Adam page! Jungle boy! Maxwell Jacob Friedman! 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes! Just to name a few, Tony. OH! and that guy who's going to win the whole damn thing; CHRIS HERO! No but seriously, credit to what they're doing with this 'Becoming the.. Elite!' project they have down in Atalanta, Georgia! I think we're already seeing the fruit of those labour's with Konosuke & Brookes, as well as the boys and girls we've seen here on DARK in recent weeks and the many weeks to come. It's an exciting time here in All Elite Wrestling!" - Chris Hero

Main Event: Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) vs Dark Order (Evil Uno & Stu Grayson)

Summary:
Intrigue was on the former Rev Pro and Progress Wrestling tag team Champions Aussie Open as both Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis came down to the ring. Commentary reminding us this their debut here in All Elite Wrestling while for Evil Uno & Stu Grayson of the Dark Order; the pressure is on! One loss and they're exiled from the Dark Order going forward. The ring bell sounded and the action was underway! Mark Davis and Stu Grayson locking up. The 6ft4 'Dunkzilla' Mark Davis quickly over powers Grayson. Using his strength to swing him into the ropes and follow up with a big time shoulder block that knocks Stu down before following up with a big boot that once again takes Grayson off his feet and down to the canvas!

Grayson looks surprised as he tags in Evil Uno. The Dark Order feeling the pressure as Uno looks to run the ropes and try to take down Davis with a shoulder block of his own. 'Dunkzilla' stands tall though, blocking the shoulder block attempt before spinning and hitting Evil Uno with a discuss clothesline! Nashville are cheering as Aussie Open are rolling! Dark Order are starting to panic. The pressure already getting to them and they take to some underhanded tactics to gain control of the match. 'Dunkzilla' looking to come off the ropes with a big boot only for Grayson to grab the standing leg from outside of the ring as it allowed Evil Uno to run at him with a forearm smash knocking him down. Dark Order then frequently tagging to keep the big man grounded as they went to work on him in the corner as the match clock ticked on.

Dark Order have gained control of the match and have managed to separate Mark Davis from his partner on the ring apron. Grayson & Uno both in the ring slingshot Davis into the ropes and look for a big back body drop to the canvas. Davis though quickly responds, leaping in the air and catching both members of the Dark Order with a flying double clothesline! Nashville then pops as Davis is able to crawl and leap of the canvas to make the HOT TAG! The 'Aussie Arrow' Kyle Fletcher coming in the ring and hitting a drop kick on Grayson before turning his attention to Uno and nailing him with a round house kick! Kyle Fletcher then stalking Grayson as stands back up and bringing him back down to the canvas with a diving cutter then going for the cover! One! Two!

"KICK-OUT! Grayson kicking out before the three. I have to say Chris Hero, Aussie Open have took this match right to Dark Order and have impressed me, and I think everyone watching tonight"
- Tony Schiavone

"I have to agree, Schiavone! I've been impressed with how they've mentally gone about their way in this match and haven't been overawed by the occasion. That said, Dark Order have to get back to the game plan and get the job done tonight, by hook or by crook, somehow, someway!"
- Chris Hero

Mark Davis & Kyle Fletcher are now both in the ring and have Stu Grayson in position. Aussie Open both grabbing Grayson and look for the Corealis! A double elevated pump handle half nelson driver! Uno though at the last second blindsides Davis with a forearm before driving him into the ring post shoulder first as he falls out of the ring in pain. Uno then hitting Fletcher with a super-kick before Grayson strikes with a snap DDT driving the 'Aussie Arrow' head first into the canvas. The ending then coming with Uno & Grayson setting up and landing the FATALITY! Stu Grayson then scrambling for the cover! One! Two! Three!

AEW: Wednesday Night Dynamite

Episode Nine - #Redemption
Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Indianapolis, IN

November 27, 2019

The lighten is crisp, the crowd are roaring and the theme blares from the speakers as the pyro fizzes around the stage - That means it's time, light the fuse! Bring the boom! DYNAMITE!

1685644738050.png

"A!E!DUB! A!E!DUB! A!E!DUB!" is the chorus from a sold out Indiana Farmers Coliseum as the camera pans around the crowd showcasing their excitement and various signs as All Elite Wrestling's Wednesday Night Dynamite is once again LIVE!

The camera then pans over to the commentary table where we are welcomed by good ole' JR; Jim Ross and his friend and co-broadcast partner, Tony Schiavone! Jim Ross & Schiavone confirm that we're LIVE for another edition of Wednesday Night Dynamite! LIVE from the Indiana Farmers Coliseum! Indianapolis, Indiana! And that we're in store for a historical show as tonight marks the start of the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament where the winner will become the barer of the Diamond Ring; Allowing the wearer of such ring to earn himself a Championship match at any point, at any time! And it all starts TONIGHT!

1685645009364.png

The Indianapolis crowd pop for the first appearance of the bracket as they perhaps begin to mentally plot and determine the outcomes in their minds.

Jim Ross then also confirms that's not all tonight. We will be hearing from the 'Best in the World' CM Punk and getting an update on his training and mentality going into his first match against Sammy Guevara at 'Winter is Coming' since coming out of retirement, and that we will also be hearing for the first time since Halloween Havoc from Britt Baker DMD after a serious concussion as he met up with Britt this week at her home in Pittsburgh! Schiavone chimes in and says he can't wait to hear from CM Punk & Britt Baker later this evening before confirming that tonight's Main Event; The AEW undefeated 'Bastard' PAC vs the cowboy searching for redemption; 'Hangman' Adam Page! Jim Ross says it's going to be one hell of a show folks before handing us over to ringside where Justin Roberts is ready to announce the first match of the evening and commence the start of the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament!

Match One:
Jungle boy W/ Luchasaurus vs 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes W/ Arn Andreson & Brandi Rhodes - Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match.

Summary:
Indianapolis was fired up as Justin Roberts announced the introductions and the crowd cheered when he confirmed the start of the Diamond Ring Tournament! Jurassic Express getting a nice pop from the crowd, but the noise went up again, and the moment felt like a bigger deal once Cody Rhodes made his entrance with the importance of the tournament captured by the appearances of his Wife; Brandi Rhodes and the return of a now healthy again mentor in Arn Anderson at his side once more. Jungle Boy & Cody met in the centre of the ring, taking in the energy from the crowd before shaking hands at the sound of the ring bell and then locking up as the match was underway!

Jungle Boy followed up his impressive outing against Kenny Omega by bringing his A game and taking the fight to the 'American Nightmare' Cody with an all heart and desire performances. Cody acknowledging Jungle Boy on a couple of occasions by applauding Jungle Boy and a nod of his in appreciation that Jungle Boy is perhaps the future. Cody though wasn't ready for the future to be now, fighting back with perhaps some of the pent-up aggression against 'MJF' being unleashed on Jungle Boy as Cody attempted to get the job done. The ending came with Jungle Boy looking to land Canadian Destroyer on Cody only for the 'American Nightmare' to tip Jungle Boy back onto his feet, rolling through and landing with the CROSS-RHODES! With 'Coach' Arn Anderson telling Cody to go for the pin and with Wife Brandi jumping up and down - Rhodes scrambled across the ring mat and hooked the legs! One! Two! Three!

'American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes (W) - 10:35 Match Time.

"YOUR WINNER AND ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND! THE AMMERRICAAANN NIGHTMAAAREEE! CODY! RHODES!" - Justin Roberts

Indianapolis pops for Cody Rhodes who after the victory pulls Jungle Boy up off the canvas and the two men share a hug. Cody holding up the arm of Jungle Boy in acknowledgement that he brought it tonight and was perhaps unlucky. Jungle Boy returning the favour of holding up Cody's arm in victory! While this is going on - The Friedman Family have made their way ringside. Alex Hammerstone has Arn Andersons shirt by the scruff of the neck while Aria Blake is arguing with Brandi Rhodes as the smug 'MJF' now attempts to get the attention of Cody Rhodes.

Rhodes finally turning around and exiting the ring with fire in his eyes as Maxwell Jacob Friedman orders his 'family' to retreat back up the ramp. A few Referees and officials now running down the ramp, keeping both groups separated as 'MJF' takes a microphone out from his coat jacket and appears to want to rile up Cody Rhodes some more.

1685645107880.png

'MJF' talks about Codys victory tonight and calls it underwhelming! 'MJF' now looking at Jungle Boy as both him & Luchasaurus make their way exiting side of the ramp. 'MJF' saying that even the beautiful Aria Blake could beat Jungle Kid or whatever his name is! Jungle Boy glaring back at 'MJF' as Maxwell just smirks, always happy to piss off anyone and everyone!

'MJF' continues on by telling Cody that he hopes he watches his match later this evening because as fate would have it - He's been drawn against big Brother Dustin! And that when he BEATS him! He could end up facing little Brother Cody along the way to becoming the barer of the Dynamite Diamond Ring! The Diamond King! Maxwell says how it's going to taste so sweet knowing how this all started by him wanting the same allowances and finances that a Rhodes can get in this company and now he was going to get that by beating the Rhodes Brothers, wearing the ring, and then taking his shot at the AEW World Championship!

'MJF' not content with riling up Cody enough then says that maybe once he's done all that - who knows, maybe he will come and take Cody's sweet little Wife, Brandi! At this point Cody jumps forward and pushes away one or two Referees before 'MJF' stands behind Alex Hammerstone & Aria Blake smirking and laughing. Cody eventually halted back by the Referees as Arn & Brandi attempt to calm him down as the show goes to a commercial break.

>> COMMERCIAL BREAK <<

1685645145578.png

AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite returns back from the break and to the locker room of Cody Rhodes. Cody pacing back and forth, clearly still trying to calm down as Brandi Rhodes, Arn Anderson, Diamond Dallas Page & Dustin Rhodes are watching him. Offering some words to calm him down before big Brother Dustin steps up - placing his hands on the shoulders of Cody, physically stopping him before looking into his eyes. Dustin tells Cody that he promises that 'MJF' is going to get what's coming to him! Dustin tells Cody he's going to punch the silver spoon right out of his mouth and stick his boot so far up Maxwell's ass that he's going to be spitting leather! Cody Rhodes then nods before tapping his Brother Dustin on the chest.

Dustin Rhodes then turns towards the camera, staring down it. Dustin says that if 'MJF' has any balls, he will come to that ring alone and we do this; one on one! Just like it should have been at Halloween Havoc! Dustin then tells Cody to stay here, calm down and stay on guard before looking towards the rest of the 'Nightmare Family' and leaving.

TOUR OF THE ISLANDS!!

The footage returns back to ringside where the theme of the NEW Suplex Machine, Jeff Cobb! Begins to play from the speakers. Cobb with the black towel draped across his head led to the ring by a sharp suited Taz with the orange glasses and a microphone in hand - ready to speak!

Jeff Cobb & Taz both reach the ring when Taz calls for the music to be cut before addressing the Indianapolis crowd and also Tony Schiavone on commentary. Taz begins to question the system of how 14 men were chosen from Dynamite and it somehow managed to avoid the NEW Suplex Machine; Jeff Cobb?! Taz says this wasn't random before stating the truth is, nobody wants to face the toughest son of a bitch walking planet earth! Taz goes on to say that quite frankly he is PISSED OFF! And he knows that Jeff Cobb is REALLY PISSED OFF! And that's bad news for the sorry son of a bitch that's about to walk down that ramp, and answer the challenge! BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN, SURVIVE IF HE LETS YOU!

Taz then removes the towel draped across the head of Cobb as he begins to flex and lets out a scream of terror that he's about to destroy anyone that steps in this ring. Attention then turns to the stage and after a few seconds, Alex Reynolds & John Silver, the Beaver Boys step onto the stage and begin gingerly making their way down the ramp.

"I'm not sure this a good idea, boys! That's one PISSED off animal in that ring by the name of Jeff Cobb!" - Jim Ross

Reynolds & Silver reach ringside and climb the ring apron before playing a game of Rock, Paper & Scissors. Cobb though has no desire to wait - storming across the ring and lifting both men over the top rope and throwing them across the canvas as he declares he will face both of the Beaver Boys!

Match Two:
'The NEW Suplex Machine' Jeff Cobb W/ Taz vs Alex Reynolds & John Silver (Beaver Boys)

Summary: Taz said his protégé was really pissed off and it showed. Cobb throwing both Alex Reynolds & John Silver around like toy dolls as he made light work of the duo. Cobb hitting Silver with a series of Suplex variations before running through Reynolds with a lariat clothesline! Cobb then drags up Silver before smashing him backdown with a reverse-spin scoop powerslam! TOUR OF THE ISLANDS! Cobb not done there then picks up Reynolds and brings him back down the canvas with a chokeslam before choking him out completely with the TAZZMISSION! The Referee soon calling for the bell as both Alex Reynolds & John Silver are completely out as Jeff Cobb's streak continues.

'The NEW Suplex Machine' Jeff Cobb (W) - 03:21 Match Time.

1685645221653.png

"ANNDD YOUR WINNER! THE NEW SUPLEX MACHINE! JEFF! COBB!" - Justin Roberts

The menacing Jeff Cobb stands over both Reynolds & Silver as he's stacked them up in the middle of the ring. Tony Schiavone & Jim Ross asking who can stop this man, Jeff Cobb?! The footage then fades from ringside.

1685645249961.png

"I'm BACK! And I'm BACK to prove that I am STILL.. The BEST IN THE WORLD! 6 weeks.. 6 weeks I have to get in the best shape I can. WINTER IS COMING!" Is heard echoing as a vignette begins to air on the big screen. We're then shown CM Punk working out in a local gym, somewhere in Chicago.

1685645290231.png

Punk finishes his reps before dropping the weights and grabbing a towel off the rack, and wiping away the sweat. Punk then noticing the film crew as he confirms this is week 3 of intense training, and how we're 3 weeks away from the goal - stepping back inside that ring - for the first time in All Elite Wrestling and beating Sammy Guevara at Winter is Coming! CM Punk then says how his words 3 weeks ago in Charlotte keep replaying in his head. Punk says how he's asked himself every day if he's making the right decision and if he really can be the Best in the World once more.

Punk then talks about his training regime. Mentioning that he's training twice a day, eating healthy - He's working with some of the best fitness coaches too. Punk says the truth is - he cannot afford to fail. He's tasted failure and he doesn't ever want that feeling again. Punk says that his time should he fail - it effects his legacy! And he's worked too hard, suffered to many injuries, lost too much blood, sweat and tears to allow his legacy to be damaged within Pro Wrestling!

We then see different clips and footage of Punk training. A brief moment of CM Punk talking with his Wife as perhaps moments of doubt have creeped in as she reassures him. CM Punk now sat down says that she's another reason why he can't afford to lose, he wants to win for her - he wants to win for his fans, and truthfully - I want to win for me! Punk says there's a saying; "I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was" - And that's exactly what I promise to be at Winter is Coming! Sammy Guevara is coming up against the BEST IN THE WORLD! Punk now stands up, fired up and focused. He finishes by telling the AEW fans he'll be seeing them next week! AEW Dynamite! United Centre, Chicago!

The vignette then fades as the show goes to a commercial break.

Wednesday Night Dynamite returns from the break and we're backstage in the interview pit where Jenn Decker is standing by with her guest this time.. 'Hangman' Adam Page! The cowboy takes a deep breath perhaps signalling the importance of tonight as Jenn welcomes him, and thanks him for his time this evening as Indianapolis pops for the crowd favourite, 'Hangman' Page.

Jenn pushes on with her questioning - asking 'Hangman' Page how he's feeling ahead of the HUGE Main Event tonight when he takes on the undefeated 'Bastard' PAC in the Diamond Ring Tournament! Adam Page responds bullish and confident, despite how he might be feeling underneath the façade. 'Hangman' say's he knows how good PAC is, and how he's brutalized everyone he's faced and made everyone tap out! Page nodding his head and his own words, again accepting the challenge he has ahead of him. Page though continues on - However there's no quit in this Cowboy and I will be dragged out of Indianapolis unconscious before I submit to the 'Bastard' PAC! The crowd cheering as Page is now fired up. 'Hangman' says this is last chance saloon for him! It's this or nothing - the last shot he has at the AEW World Championship! Page finishes the interview by saying at Winter is Coming - The Cowboy takes the crown and the ring!

Adam 'Hangman' Page then nods towards Jenn Decker thanking her for the interview before Jenn smiles and wishes 'Hangman' the best of luck in the Main Event tonight before handing over to ringside.

1685645344677.png

"Dare I say, bullish and confident there from 'Hangman' Page, Jim?" - Tony Schiavone

"I'd go with that notion, partner. Adam 'Hangman' Page has walked this path before, Tony. As the cowboy said, this is the last chance saloon and perhaps he's a hell of a poker player Tony because I sense very little nerves from 'Hangman' Page, and that's going to be one of a hell match tonight!"
- Jim Ross

Attention then turns to the ring where Leva Bates is waiting and going through her final pre-match stretches as Justin Roberts announces the second match of the evening with the arrival of the AEW Women's Champion! 'Demon Assassin' Rosemary!

Match Three:
Leva Bates vs 'Demon Assassin' Rosemary W/ Decay

Summary:
As many probably expected, a one sided affair followed next as the always aggressive AEW Women's Champion attacked Leva Bates milliseconds after the bell and the onslaught didn't stop. Rosemary like a tiger stalking her pray followed Bates around the ring - titling her head manically and laughing as Bates tried to stand up - each attempt halted with another attack as Thunder Rosa & Holidead of the Twisted Sisterz screamed and taunted Leva. Rosemary finally showing Bates some mercy after dropping her with the Skyward Suplex! A variation of the Olympic Slam before then sending the final message with the RED WEDDING! Rosemary then hooking the legs and going for the pin! One! Two! Three!

'Demon Assassin' Rosemary (W) - 2:58 Match Time.

"ANNNDDDD YOUR WINNNER! THE AEW WOMENS CHAMPION! ROOOSSEEEMAAARRYYYY!"
- Justin Roberts

The Twisted Sisterz then enter the ring and quickly cause Justin Roberts to scurry away along with the Referee as they hand a microphone to the 'Demon Assassin' Rosemary.

Rosemary raises the microphone to her lips before laughing. A screeching, harrowing laugh echoes around the arena before Rosemary says she's having so, so much fun in All Elite Wrestling! She talks about the Women's Division that's come together to stop the evil witch and her assassins. Rosemary and the Twisted Sisterz all laugh in unison before Rosemary says that this isn't Disney! There shall be no happy ending! And that everyone that opposes the Champion will be knocked down - One by one, falling like dominoes! Rosemary then says that at Winter is Coming she will defend her AEW Woman's Championship against anyone that wishes to step forward.. Shida? Ivelisse? Allie? Kylie Rae?

1685645373093.png

Rosemary then finishes by saying it doesn't matter who it is, because eventually.. everyone... DEECCCAAAAYYYYSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! Rosemary, Thunder Rosa & Holidead then stand in the middle of the ring and begin chanting "DECAY! DECAY! DECAY!" out towards the crowd before the scene fades to black.

1685645408507.png

Backstage now and we see Ivelisse. Arms folded up, game face on, focused on a TV screen as she watches the Decay. Before Ivelisse can react any further; Hikaru Shida enters the shot. Shida raises her hands up to indicate she means no threat before then bowing, and thanking Ivelisse for coming to her rescue last week against the Decay. Ivelisse nods before suggesting it's time to take a stand, and stop Rosemary and the Decay! Shida nods before continuing on speaking. Shida tells Ivelisse that she wants to face Rosemary at Winter is Coming! But, she would like Ivelisse's blessing before she approaches management.

Ivelisse thinks on it for a second, perhaps also wanting to face Rosemary before nodding and saying that she knows this is even more personal for Shida, and so she wishes Hikaru good luck, but says that she will be waiting in line next for the winner to take the Championship! Shida & Ivelisse then bow before shaking hands to end the segment.

1685645444300.png

The camera then returns to ringside where Justin Roberts is ready to announce the next match of the evening! A second Diamond Ring Tournament match between 'MFJ' and the 'Natural' Dustin Rhodes!

Match Four:
'MJF' Maxwell Jacob Friedman vs 'The Natural' Dustin Rhodes - Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match.

Summary:
'The Natural' came down the ramp first and did so all natural. No face paint, no attire - Dustin is wearing jeans, cowboy boots and an old NWA Dusty Rhodes top as the crowd acknowledge what this match means to Dustin as they pop and cheer the name of 'Dusty! Dusty! Dusty' as Dustin taps his chest and awaits his opponent. Next down and it was 'MJF' - Maxwell coming down to the surprise of everyone on his own. An arrogant smirk across his face as he struts down to the ring and enters before going face to face with Dustin. The ring bell then sounded and the two men unleashed with strike after strike as the crowd popped for the intensity and venom of each blow.

The match rolled on and this was a straight FIGHT! There was no fancy moves, there was no high-spots, and there certainly wasn't any respect as 'MJF' and Rhodes beat the hell out of each other! Inside the ring, and outside the ring - the two men hit each other with everything - using the ring post, steps and the crowd barricade as they tortured their bodies. Senior official Earl Hebner was on Refereeing duty and he would call on all his experience to officiate the match, and allow some leniency with the 10-counts and closed fisted punches. 'MJF' & Dustin Rhodes are both busted open and are now feeling the strain of the match with tiredness and fatigue starting to become a factor in the match.

The ending to the match came with 'MJF' on top of the match. Slapping Rhodes across the face as he's on his knees, telling Maxwell to bring it as the fire burns still inside him. 'MJF' is now taunting Dustin before spitting in his face and then kicking Dustin across the face, and knocking 'The Natural' down on the canvas. 'MJF' then drags up Dustin and adds some real salt to the wounds as he plants him back down to the canvas with little brother Cody's - CROSS RHODES!! Maxwell then covers and looks like he has the match won when Rhodes kicks out! The final show of defiance from the legendary Dustin as Maxwell then drags him up once more and plants him down with the SOUTH HAMPTONS PLUNGE! A Hammerlock DDT. 'MJF' then covering for the victory! One! Two! Three!

'MJF' Maxwell Jacob Friedman (W) - 12:03 Match Time.

"ANDD YOUR WINNER OF THE MAT-"
- Justin Roberts

Before Justin could announce 'MJF' as the winner of the match, and thus qualifying to the next round of the Diamond Ring Tournament - Cody Rhodes has stormed the ring, and the 'American Nightmare' gets his hands on 'MJF' - tackling him to the ring and getting on top of him with some ground and pound as Maxwell tries to cover up. Cody then fires up as the Indiana Farmers Coliseum goes absolutely crazy! "CODY! CODY! CODY!" being heard around the area as 'MJF' scrambles outside of the ring and begins back tracking up the ramp as Cody Rhodes checks on his Brother, Dustin.

"Look at Maxwell running with his tail between his legs! Little Brother Cody got him some, that's for sure!" - Jim Ross

"This feud has become hatred, Jim. Dustin & 'MJF' just had a brutal match. Maxwell survives and qualifies for the next round and who knows, if the stars align - there will be no running from the 'American Nightmare' as their paths could cross in the Dynamite Diamond Tournament!" - Tony Schiavone

We get a final shot as Cody Rhodes helps up his brother, Dustin. Dustin a bloody mess but he hugs Cody Rhodes as the Indianapolis crowd pop and once again chant the name of "Dusty! Dusty! Dusty" as the two Rhodes brothers exit the ring and make their way up the ramp as we cut to a commercial break.

>> COMMERCIAL BREAK <<

1685645478977.png

The camera returns from the commercial break where we see the 'BASTARD' PAC standing in front of the camera, his jet black wet and draped hair across his face. The 'BASTARD' welcomed to the interview area by Chris Van Vliet. Before Chris can even ask a question - PAC throws back his head clearing his face before grabbing the microphone and speaking. PAC says tonight officially starts the BASTARD ERA! PAC says even since he stepped foot into All Elite Wrestling and he's been held back because he is the ONE.. TRUE.. ELITE! Of All ELITE Wrestling! PAC continues on to say that has BRUTALIZED anyone and EVERYONE that has stepped across from me in my ring, and how tonight that will CONTINUE!

The 'BASTARD' says that just like when he walked into this company at ALL OUT and BEAT! KENNY! OMEGA! Another so called ELITE! PAC says tonight he ticks off another in the form of the Cowboy! 'Hangman' Adam Page! PAC finishes by saying that at Winter is Coming - the throne and Diamond Ring awaits for the BASTARD KING! As does the BASTARD ERA!

1685645509673.png

The 'BASTARD' PAC then plants the microphone in the chest of Chris Van Vliet before storming away as Van Vliet hands back over to the commentary at ringside.

1685645542644.png

"Brooding confidence, and maybe rightfully so from the undefeated PAC, Jim!" - Tony Schiavone

"Hell of an athlete, Tony. If PAC locks in that Brutalizer tonight, it could be game over for the cowboy, partner! Folks, it's now time for my exclusive interview with everyone's favourite Doctor; And I just want to take this oppertunity to say that it was great to spend time with Britt, and learn that she's on the mend - but I think as you will see with the interview, the Decay and more specifically Rosemary leave a lasting effect on everyone that opposes them.." - Jim Ross

The footage then cuts to the pre-tape where we see Dr Britt Baker DMD for the first time since Halloween Havoc with a beaming smile across her face as she welcomes Jim Ross into her home in Pittsburgh. We get a quick camera swing around the interview set up which appears to be in the living room as we see pictures of Britt and her loved one, Bay-Bay! Jim Ross & Britt Baker then take their seats as the camera crew ask if they're both ready and the camera's start rolling.

Jim Ross starts the conversation by complimenting Britt Baker on her lovely home and for welcoming him, and the AEW fans into her house and agreeing to do this interview. Britt says it's her pleasure and she has missed everyone at All Elite Wrestling and of course the fans even more! Jim then proceeds to talk about Halloween Havoc! Jim Ross asking how Britt Baker is doing following the concussion she sustained in the AEW Women's Championship match against Rosemary?

1685645618757.png

Britt thanks Jim Ross for asking before thanking everyone for their support and well-wishes online. Britt goes on to say that she is a grown Woman who's overcome so much in this business and life in general. She talks about life growing up, and balancing wrestling and her studies to become who she is today! Britt talks about how proud she is of how far she's come before her tone completely changes..

"But facing Rosemary - she gets in your head! Her and her Twisted Sisterz - it's like they're talking to you - whispering - then shouting - you're having to battle the voices. It's the voices, Jim. They won't go.. and I keep trying.. I keep trying so, so hard.. But.." - Britt Baker

Baker now catches Jim Ross looking on and staring - motioning to check if Baker is okay as one member of the camera asks if Baker wants to take a moment and stop rolling? Britt Baker then reaches forward and takes a sip of water from a nearby table before shaking her head and taking a deep breath before suggesting she's fine! She's okay! Jim Ross continues to look on, you can clearly see he's slightly worried but continues on with the interview.

Jim Ross asks if Britt Baker has been able to keep up with Dynamite and everything going on with AEW? Specifically the support from the likes of Allie & Kylie Rae? Britt Baker immediately nods before smiling. She tells Ross that she loves her girls and the support from them, the fans, it means the world to her and it's helped so much in her recovery. Britt tells Jim Ross that this isn't over! It's not the end of the Britt Baker story - It's just the beginning! Baker says she's feeling better every single day and she's hoping to be cleared very soon! Britt then says and when she does - she's going to stand alongside the Women's Division and she's going to help take a stand against the Decay!

Jim Ross then retorts and says that he's sure he speaks for everyone at All Elite Wrestling when he says he's happy to hear that Britt is getting better with each day, and that he can't wait to see everyone's favourite Doctor back in action! Jim Ross then thanks Britt Baker for her time as Britt smiles and thanks Jim Ross back before the footage ends and the LIVE shot returns to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum.

1685645649735.png

We're backstage once more as we Adam 'Hangman' Page going through some final stretches in the hall way. However, Page is not alone as with him are Matt & Nick Jackson - The AEW Tag Team Champions; The Young Bucks!

Nick & Matt '2-sweet' Page before asking where he's been? The Young Bucks say they've been calling Page and leaving messages but he hasn't answered their calls or replied. 'Hangman' shakes his head before acknowledging that he's been avoiding anyone and everyone! Page says it's not personal and he loves them both - but, after the loss at Revolution - let's just say he lost his way but he's fine and he's focused on his match against PAC tonight!

Matt & Nick quickly accept Adam Page's apology before both hugging him at the same time as 'Hangman' smiles before telling them okay, okay, I need to get serious as the Bucks release the hug and smile. Matt & Nick say that they just wanted to let 'Hangman' know that they love him too, and they're always here for him no matter what. Matt & Nick then wish Page good luck in the Main Event tonight as 'Hangman' Page thanks them before leaving the scene.

The Young Bucks both watch 'Hangman' Page walk away as they both say how they hope he's okay. The Tag Team Champions then turn to leave when they're greeted by..

1685645677967.png

..Salina de la Renta! Selina stands with a smirk across her face and a look of devious in her eyes as she stares at the AEW Tag Team Championships draped across the shoulders of the Young Bucks. Matt begins to wave his hand to break Salinas eye contact from the Championships as Nick asks if they can help?

Salina smiles before saying that at All Out, Pentagon Jr & Fenix defeated the Young Bucks in Escalera De La Muerte for the AAA Tag team Championships! Selina will say the Bucks told anyone to step up, well how about climb up? Escalera De La Muerte II - AAA & AEW Tag Team Championships on the line! Mexico City! Guerra de Elite Titanes!

The Young Bucks both laugh before asking if Fenix & Pentagon Jr know anything about this challenge? Selina remains focused and stern, her arms are folded to suggest she's defensive about this subject before suggesting that she speaks for the Lucha Brothers now, and she wants an answer next week! Selina then turns and walks away leaving the Young Bucks staring at each other as they think about the challenge laid down to them by Salina de la Renta.

1685645705769.png

The commentary team then react to the previous segment as they suggest how HUGE a rematch could be between the Young Bucks and the Lucha Brothers for both the AEW & AAA Tag team Championships in Mexico! Tony Schiavone then brings up what the Young Bucks questioned - do the Lucha Brothers even know about this? Jim Ross says a lot of intrigue and quite frankly shady-ness is following Selina de la Renta here in All Elite Wrestling.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN! IT IS NOW TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!"
- Justin Roberts

1685645740858.png

Indiana POPS for the announcement of the Main Event and it's time! The commentary team reminding us of the stakes at play. The winner will qualify and enter the next round of the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament! Jim Ross though adds some fuel to the flames as he also reminds us that for Adam 'Hangman' Page this could very well be last chance saloon for a shot at the AEW World Championship after losing to Jericho.. Twice! Jim Ross also reminds us that PAC is undefeated, and so for him, a loss here will change everything! Tony Schiavone calls it the biggest match in Dynamite history as all eyes are on the AEW stage where we await the two competitors.

Main Event:
Adam 'Hangman' Page vs 'The Bastard' PAC - Diamond Ring Tournament Qualifying Match.

Summary:
Indiana was the home of "cowboy shit" as the crowd rallied behind 'Hangman' Page and greeted him with a huge welcome while the 'Bastard' couldn't care less as he scowled and taunted the booing crowd. The tension was so thick you could have cut it with a knife as the pressure of the situation stood on the shoulders of two of the best that All Elite Wrestling has to offer in the form of PAC & Adam Page. The two men went face to face as Justin Roberts finished the introductions before both men exploded with strikes back and forth as the ring bell sounded to start the match!

Close calls and near falls were a plenty as Senior Official Earl Hebner was made to work to keep up with two of All Elite Wrestling's best in-ring athletes! The first big close call coming with 'Hangman' countering a frankensteiner into the DEADEYE! PAC being planted into the canvas as Hebner counted the pin only for PAC to kick out at the last second with a two! Then came the turn of 'The Bastard' to come close! Adam Page on the outside of the ring looking to springboard back into the ring with the BUCKSHOT LARIAT! The 'Bastard' though reacting quickly and almost taking Page's head off with a roundhouse kick before dropping Page down with an impressive bridging German suplex! The 'Bastard' wasn't done there as instead of going for the pin right away, he took to the air and came crashing down from the top rope with a death-defying FLAMING STAR PRESS! An imploding 450 splash as PAC's body crashed onto 'Hangman' Page and the Englishman looked like he had the match won only for 'Hangman' to kick out at the last millisecond as Indiana popped like crazy!

"WHAT'S IT GOING TO TAKE?!" - Jim Ross

"Both of these man have come so close, Jim! Both 'Hangman' & PAC know exactly wants on the line here and neither man is willing to give it all up!" - Tony Schiavone

The match then rolled on - fatigue starting to kick in as both 'Hangman' Page & PAC were now more laboured and sluggish with their punches as both men stood face to face, exchanging strikes and mouthing curses at each other under their breath as they told their opponent to give their best shot! blow after blow, strike after strike, chop after chop. Page & PAC now both beaten and starting to bruise as their bodies started to tint red and purple from the strikes! PAC then took it up a notch - slapping 'Hangman' across the face before screaming at him! 'Hangman' wiping his face from the slap, before then spinning and nailing the undefeated PAC with a DISCUSS FOREARM SMASH! Adam Page's forearm smashing into the chin of PAC and knocking him down as PAC then showed pure adrenaline and heart as no sooner did his back touch the canvas - PAC kipped up and then struck right back with a huge CYCLONE BYCICLE KICK! BAM! The kick rocking the jaw of 'Hangman' before both men fell down to the canvas and Indiana popped again for the heart and desire on show from both men.

"JUST LISTEN TO THIS PLACE, TONY! They're going CRAZY for both of these men!" - Jim Ross

"There's no doubt about it, Jim! They're firmly behind Adam 'Hangman' Page but they respect the ability of the Englishman, the undefeated 'Bastard' PAC! What a match!" - Tony Schiavone

The crowd are cheering for both 'Hangman' & PAC as they begin to chant "FIGHT FOR-EVER! FIGHT FOR-EVER!" - However right now, there is no fight as Page & PAC remain down on the canvas as they're feeling the effects of the match. Earl Hebner does a quick check on both competitors before starting the count! "ONE! TWO! THREE!" Senior Official Hebner continues on with the count as both 'Hangman' & PAC remain motionless on the canvas. Attention is then turned to the stage where Mark & Thomas Billington - the Billington Bulldogs are running down the ramp and reach ringside. The commentary team reminding us that it appears that Mark & Thomas have been seemingly taken under the wing of the 'Bastard' whether they wanted it or not and that they appear to be trying to get PAC to his feet with some support at ringside.

Earl Hebner now reaches the count of "SEVEN!" and the crowd are start to worry and mummering can be heard that this result may end up fizzling out into a draw, and what that could mean for the Dynamite Diamond Tournament?! - Thankfully as perhaps expected in wrestling - 'Hangman' Page & PAC make it to their feet right at last second using the ring ropes and everything left in the tank to stand back up. PAC & Page are now in opposite corners of the ring and the two men are staring at the other, locked in a showdown gaze like two warriors about to take their last stand in an epic encounter! Page & PAC then sprint across the ring using every last drop of energy and it's who can hit the other first! 'Hangman' Page what looks like the fatal blow as he dodges a leaping knee from the Englishman before picking up PAC and dropping him down to the canvas with a German suplex! "HANGMAN PAGE! HANGMAN PAGE! HANGMAN PAGE!" is the cry from the crowd now as Adam Page takes to the ring apron and now begins to position himself as he holds onto the top rope, screaming for PAC to get up!

"COME ON COWBOY! THIS IS YOUR MOMENT! THIS IS YOUR REDEMPTION!" - Jim Ross

'The Bastard' PAC stands up and right on cue Adam 'Hangman' Page leaps over the top rope with the slingshot and charges at PAC like a bull seeing red with the intention to take his head off! PAC though see's it coming and just when it looked over for him, he again shows his ability as he wraps around Hangman with a crucifix before dragging him down to the canvas and locking in the deadly and most certainly feared..

"BRUTALIZER! PAC WITH THE BRUTALIZER! NOBODY HAS EVER KICKED OUT OF THIS, JIM!" - Tony Schiavone

"THIS IS NOT GOOD, TONY! THE COWBOY IS FIGHTING! HE'S FIGHTING! BUT THERE'S NO ESCAPE FROM THE BRUTALIZER AND JUST LOOK AT PAC! HE'S CRANKING IT UP!" - Jim Ross

As Tony & Jim said, nobody has kicked out of the Brutalizer and it doesn't look like anyone will. Adam 'Hangman' Page has fought and fought but the 'Cowboy' is starting to fade! PAC screaming for 'Hangman' Page to "TAP!" as the crowd are trying to rally behind Adam Page but it's over.. Page's eyes roll and his eye lids close as his tired arms and defeated body stops fighting and the Referee confirms that 'Hangman Page is.. OUT! PAC has defeated Page via the BRUTALIZER!

'The Bastard' PAC (W) - 27:48 Match Time.

"YOUR WINNER! AND ADVANCING TO THE NEXT ROUND! THE BAASSTTARRDDDDD! PAAAACC!"
- Justin Roberts

The Indiana Farmers Coliseum falls to almost a complete hush as we see PAC release the Brutalizer and being helped out of the ring by Mark & Thomas Billington. PAC has recently always kept the hold locked in for longer then needed - but clearly he has been taken to his limit tonight and knows he was in a fight to which he barely won. In the ring though and there's a real sight of sorrow as Adam Page starts to come around and see's PAC standing at the top of the ramp, leaning on Mark & Thomas to keep him standing before the Englishman flashes a smirk in celebration. Page hits the canvas with his fist before running his head through his hair and covering his face.

"AMAZING, AMAZING EFFORT FROM THIS YOUNG MAN, JIM! You have NOTHING to be ashamed about 'Hangman' Page! You're one hell of a wrestler and your time is going to come!" - Tony Schiavone

Tony echoing the thoughts of many here tonight in Indiana and no doubt watching at home. No words or applause can make Adam Page feel any better though as he's coming around to the terms of another devastating loss as he sits now at the bottom of the turnbuckle wincing in pain and shaking his head at another defeat.

1685645783275.png

"It wasn't redemption for Adam 'Hangman' Page tonight, fans. It's another huge loss and you can see how much this means to this incredible man! Adam 'Hangman' Page said he would have to be UNCONCIOUS and maybe dragged out of Indianapolis because he wasn't going to SUBMIT! And BAH GAWD! HE DIDN'T QUIT! You have nothing but OUR respect 'Hangman' Adam Page and this isn't the end for you!" - Jim Ross

Despite the words of Jim Ross, it certainly feels like the end after a crushing defeat once again for 'Hangman' Page! We see one final shot of PAC being carried to the back as he's helped to stand up before we see once more a distraught Page who continues to shake his head in utter disbelief as AEW Wednesday Night Dynamite comes to an end.

Episode Nine - #AEWDARK
Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Indianapolis, IN
November 27, 2019

Dynamite has ended and so with it goes the crisp and bright lighten replaced with the edgier, dim lit and more underground vibe as it's time for another episode of All Elite Wrestling; DARK! We are quickly welcomed to DARK by the ever-present Tony Schiavone as he once more welcomes the AEW fans to the Indiana Farmers Coliseum, Indianapolis, Indiana! Tony talks about DARK really making it's own mark in the wrestling world and right here in All Elite Wrestling of course before promising that tonight looks to be another good show! Tony confirms that tonight's Main Event will see two men who could be potential rivals in Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament as Konosuke Takeshita and Chris Brookes will have to co-exist and team together tonight as they take on the team of Private Party! Tony then introduces his guest-commentator and partner for the evening! The original 'Human Suplex Machine' Taz!

1688224915422.png

Taz comes out from behind the curtain to a mixed response from the crowd before sitting down and slamming his papers on the commentary desk. Tony welcomes Taz and sticks out his hand to shake but Taz knocks it back before saying how he hasn't forgiven Tony for not announcing his 'NEW Suplex Machine' Jeff Cobb as one of the men involved in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament calling it a BS descion! Tony quickly tries to tell Taz that he didn't have any say in the selection process which was done by random, but Taz doesn't care and tells Tony to get on with the show! Tony throws up his hands before remaining professional and confirming that the opening contest of the evening will see the 'Top Gaijin' Bea Priestley going one on one with a debuting Kimber Lee who was signed in the inaugural 'Becoming.. The Elite!' class. Tony then hands over to ringside where Justin Roberts is ready to announce the first match of the evening!

Match One: 'Top Gaijin' Bea Priestley vs Kimber Lee

Summary:
The ring bell sounded to start the match as Referee Aubrey Edwards called for the action to begin, but Bea Priestley does everything in her own time. Bea stretching and pacing around the ring as she told Kimber to back up before attempting to get into the head of the debuting Kimber Lee. Kimber while maybe debuting tonight is certainly no novice and remained calm before the two ladies locked up and the action began! Kimber was on the offensive as she took it to Bea with some strong palm strikes as she was living up to the nickname of 'Princess Palm-strike' with every hit stinging Bea as she tried to break away and escape. Kimber though used her experience and cut the ring off - backing up Bea in the turnbuckle before sending the Indianapolis crowd into a chorus with some knife-edge chops! "WOOOOHHHOOOOOOO!" is the cry as Bea stumbles out of the corner with pain etched across her face before falling down to her knees.

Kimber senses this could be her moment and looks to drag up Bea into a powerbomb position but Bea fights the attempt, scratching at the eyes of Kimber Lee as Priestley falls back to her feet before bringing Kimber down to the canvas with a rolling cutter! The 'Top Gaijin' was now certainly on top and she took full advantage. Bea climbing to the top rope before blowing a kiss to the AEW fans in attendance mockingly as Bea leaps from the top rope and comes both feet down on Kimber Lee with the FLAWLESS VICTORY! Bea then scrambles across the ring as Aubrey Edwards begins the count! One! Two! Three!

'Top Gaijin' Bea Priestley (W) - 08:34 Match Time.

"ANNDD YOUR WINNER! SHE IS THE TOP GAIJIN! BEAAAAAA! PRIESTLEY!" - Justin Roberts

1688225110037.png

Bea is all smiles as she arrogantly smirks already rolled out of the ring and looking back from the bottom of the ramp at Kimber Lee who looks disappointed back in the ring. Bea mouthing that AEW DARK belongs to the 'Top Gaijin' but the smile is about to wiped from her face as she stands up and turns around to see 'The Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein standing at the top of the ramp with a microphone in hand. Bea pleading as she back tracks for Kelly to not come down the ramp.

1688225471677.png

Kelly starts by applauding Bea on her victory before asking why she continues to dodge her? Kelly says that its starting to look like the 'Top Gaijin' is a little scare of 'The Gatekeeper' Kelly Klein! Bea shakes her head and wags her finger as the fans in attendance are agreeing with Kelly. Bea circles the ring before grabbing a microphone and retorting.

Bea tells Kelly that she was the 'Top Gaijin' in Japan! And she's the top female here in All Elite Wrestling! Bea says that Kelly literally just got here and that if she wants a match - she's going to have to work her way up the ladder to face me! Bea finishes by saying that if Kelly Klein can BEAT her HAND CHOSEN opponent next week - She will then GIVE Kelly the match she wants!

Kelly Klein thinks on it for a few seconds before saying that Bea is on! Kelly then says that she will be seeing Bea very soon because she cannot run forever! Klein then dropping the microphone and the rivals stare back at the other as DARK goes to its first commercial break of the evening.

1688225182533.png

All Elite Wrestling DARK returns back from the short in-house commercial and back to ringside where the ring has been transformed for the second edition of Teal Pipers Pit! A fancy backdrop with various props and pictures of the late and great 'Hot Rod' Rowdy Roddy Piper adorns the set as a smiling Teal Piper welcomes the fans to the second edition of her show before introducing her guest at this time..

"DARK fans, please welcome my guest at this time! He has a professional Boxing record of a 11 wins in 12 fights! An Olympian and medallist winner! He is the 'Golden Boy", the 'Guv'nor!' Antony Ogogo!" - Teal Piper

HANDS OF STONE!!

1688225234766.png

The always confident and cocky Ogogo makes his way out from behind the curtain and out onto the stage before strutting down the ramp and heading to the ring dressed in a sharp suit and carrying himself with a real aura. A mixed response from the crowd with judgement already made from his vignettes but also an interest in seeing the new man from the 'Becoming.. The Elite!' inaugural class. 'The Guv'nor' enters the ring and shakes the hand of Teal Piper before grabbing a microphone off the table and taking a seat on the stool.

Teal then thanks Ogogo for being her guest before pressing on with her first question as she asks now that Ogogo has arrived on DARK - What's his plans going forward?

Antony Ogogo retorts instantly and says that he hasn't come to All Elite Wrestling, to DARK, to play kids games! Ogogo says he's come here to do what he's always done! Knock people out, and secure the bag! The 'Golden Boy' says he's a born winner and he that he conquered the Boxing world, and now is the time to conquer wrestling too! Ogogo says maybe he will win a couple of Championships along the way before reaching the very top where he belongs!

Teal seems slightly taken back by Ogogo's overconfidence but asks when can we see 'The Guv'nor' in action? Ogogo says that Teal and the rest of the fans dying to see him are in luck! Next week he will be making his debut and that it just so happens that with his debut, it also means the start of KNOCK-OUT SEASON! Ogogo then throws the microphone lightly in the direction of Teal as she catches the microphone and Antony flashes a smirk in her direction before exiting the ring signalling the end of the interview and Teal Piper's Pit.

"Certainly a confident young man. There's no doubt about it though Taz, Antony Ogogo has had incredible success outside of the wrestling world and if he can transition that ability to here in All Elite Wrestling! He's going to have quite the career" - Tony Schiavone

"Confident, cocky, arrogant, call it what you want too, Schiavone! This man is a winner! I like him and I'm tipping him to make a big impact here in AEW on DARK!" - Taz

1688225266307.png

As the ring is being cleared from the Teal Piper Pit segment the theme of Joey Janela begins to blare from the speakers and the self-proclaimed 'Deathmatch' Champion is seen making his way down from the bleachers with the beautiful Penelope Ford trailing behind him as both are trying to avoid the touches from the crowd like a plague.

1688225300943.png

Joey Janela enters the ring via the steps and begins pushing for the staff taking away the set to get out of the ring as he picks up a microphone from off the table. Janela goes to speak before seeing a picture of 'Rowdy' Roddy Piper and Teal Piper together, picking it up and pretending to cry like he's emotional before tossing it over his shoulder and out of the ring onto the flooring as the picture frame breaks and smashes. The crowd booing Janela and Penelope ford as they embrace with an over the top kiss as Janela's flips off the crowd and then speaks his mind..

Joey talks about his win at Revolution against a hardcore icon; The Sandman! Janela says once more again proving he's the best 'Deathmatch' wrestler in the WORLD! And that's why he's still the 'Deathmatch' Champion and carrying THE Championship of All Elite Wrestling! The 'Bad Boy' then changes tone and says that since that win - He's been hidden away and hasn't been allowed to appear on TV since because the truth is, this business can't handle an actual Rockstar like him! Joey says he got the Championship! He's got the beautiful blonde chick on his arm and he's a STAR!

The 'Bad Boy' says that even All Elite Wrestling can't control fate though and as we all seen on Dynamite last week - He's in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament and he plans to win the Tournament and become the barer of the Diamond Dynamite Ring! Joey then smirks before looking back at Penelope and saying that everyone knows Diamonds a girls best friend, ain't that right babe? The two then obnoxiously kissing once more as the crowd are booing. Joey then finishes by saying that the Diamond Ring can wait till next week though because right now he has another match against another wannabe that fancies himself as the 'Deathmatch' Champion! Joey Janela then tosses the microphone and hands his Championship to Penelope Ford who exits the ring as Indianapolis awaits Joeys opponent.

Match Two: The 'Bad Boy' Joey Janela (C) W/ The 'Bad Girl' Penelope Ford vs Mance Warner

Summary:
Major League Wrestling's Mance Warner was the opponent as the crowd in the know gave a nice pop for the debuting Mance Warner! Warner coming to the ring with a selection of 'goodies' being carried in a trash can as he entered the ring and instantly a brawl would ensue between Champion and Challenger! This match was exactly as it appeared to be from the outside, nothing more then a 'mudshow' hardcore match! Chairs, Kendo sticks, trash cans and even stop-signs were in use as Mance & Joey beat the hell out of each other around ringside.

As it seems to be becoming the norm where Joey Janella is involved, Penelope Ford the 'Bad Girl' of wrestling would change the outcome of the match! Mance had joey kneeled down in the middle of the ring with a trash can placed over his head and looked for the KNEE PAD UP, KNEE PAD DOWN! The running knee strike but before he could begin his run... CRACK! Penelope Ford striking Mance across the back with a kendo stick and then kicking him low once he turned around as Mance yelped in agony. The 'Bad Boy' having enough time to recover removed the trash can before driving Warner through it with a PACKAGE PILDRIVER!! One! Two Three!

'Bad Boy' Joey Janela (W) - 07:34 Match Time.

"ANNNDDD YOUR WINNER! HE IS A BAAADDDDD BOOOYYYYY! AND STILL THE SELF-PROCLAIMED DEATHMATCH CHAMPION! JOEY! JANELA!" - Justin Roberts

Joey and Penelope make their way back up the ramp as Janela clutches his 'Deathmatch' Championship after another successful title defence. Tony Schiavone on commentary though is having none of what he calls a false image and says that Joey has actually convinced himself he's a Champion after making his own belt which isn't even recognised officially by the company! Tony says that Janela is a classless human being and he shows it every time he's in the ring. Taz then asks Tony if he would like to tell Joey this to his face? Taz says he didn't think so after Tony goes quiet and the show goes to another commercial break advertising the upcoming Dynamites!

A vignette begins to air as we see three Black Women in a locker room. The locker room looking very used with some of the lockers open, and some clothes on the floor as we see a video playing in the background on a wall-mounted TV screen as the Woman are watching the footage. The footage appearing to show the AEW Women's Division as we see people like the AEW Woman's Champion Rosemary, Ivellise, Hikaru Shida among a few. Suddenly, one of the Woman stands up and kicks the seat back that she was sat on before turning the TV off by remote and throwing it across the locker room as she speaks.

"WHO is representing the CULTURE?! it's time we TAKE A STAND! It's time we make a CHANGE! It's OUR TIME! Sisters, we've been sitting back here, waiting for our chance, waiting for our oppertunity and we've been waiting! Sisters, we wait NO MORE! It's time we got HOOD on these BITCHES, ya' feel me?" - ???

The two other ladies stand up and begin to stir in agreement as they're saying "You're damn right!" and "It's our time!" as the apparent leader begins to nod her head in agreement. The leader continues on.

"They DONT KNOW what's coming to this Women's Division but by the time we're done Sisters, they're never going to forget the name of THE CULTURE CLIQUE!" - ???

The vignette ends with all three Women doing a handshake and clicking their fingers as they begin to laugh.

"Looks like we got a couple of mean looking, ass-kicking sisters coming to AEW DARK, Schiavone!" - Taz

"It appears so, Taz! The leader of this trio is Aerial Monroe! Her and one of the other Woman in the vignette, Faye Jackson! Well they were both signed to the inaugural 'Becoming.. The Elite!' class! As for the other lady in question, I'm hearing that's Savannah Evans!" - Tony Schiavone

"Oh boy, 6ft Savannah Evans! Talk about a presence" - Taz

"She sure is, Taz! Faye Jackson was trained by the Ring of Honor Dojo while Aerial Monroe has wrestled for SHIMMER! All three woman have been wrestling on the independents and putting in the work, and it now appears they're done waiting and are looking to make their mark here in All Elite Wrestling!" - Tony Schiavone

1688225354523.png

Attention now turned back to the ring where Justin Roberts was ready to announce the Main Event of the evening! As two potential rivals in the Dynamite Diamond Ring Tournament Chris Brookes & Konosuke Takeshita take on a team who are getting more and more desperate to taste victory once again! Marc Quen & Isiah Kassidy of Private Party!

Main Event: Konosuke Takeshita & Chris Brookes vs Private Party

Summary:
Despite the commentary playing up the "can they coexist?" angle it wasn't no issue for Chris Brookes & Takeshita who have competed before and spoken of their respect for one another during their time in DDT Wrestling! More attention appeared to turn towards the story of Private Party! Quen & Kassidy appear to be floundering here in All Elite Wrestling and are continuing to search for their next victory. Private Party clearly not as confident as they once was here in AEW but they started the match strong and used their tag team experience to stay on top of Bookes & Takeshita! Every time the former men of DDT Wrestling got going - Quen & Kassidy shut them down and stopped any momentum! The match clock ticked on with Brookes & Konosuke starting to fight back! Quen & Kassidy went high-risk and they dove over the top rope looking to catch their opponents on the outside only for Brookes to push Konosuke out of the way! Saving his partner but taking the brunt of both men coming over the top rope and landing on him!

Takeshita then seeing that Brookes saved him, fired up with the crowd behind him and grabbed Quen before power-bombing him across the crowd barrier as his band landed on the steel. Takeshita then then following Kassidy into the ring who was able to catch the Japanese wrestler first with a super-kick! Takeshita stunned before crumbling down to his knees as he holds his chin and face after the kick. Brookes then slides back in and he's cut off by Kassidy quickly who lays into him with stomps and kicks keeping him grounded. Isiah Kassidy then grabs Brookes and places him in the corner before running to the other side and looking to smash David Brookes with a forearm smash! Konosuke though kips up as the crowd pop and while Kassidy was in mid-air - Takeshita snatches him and plants him down with a BLUE THUNDER BOMB!! Chris Brookes just stares at Knosuke knowing that he was saved and the favour was returned as he was moments away from being smashed in the face. The 'Calamari Catch King' Chris Brookes is the legal man and he begins to see Marq Quen climb onto the ring apron and levels him in the face with a big boot before spinning right back around and nailing Kassidy with a YAKUZA KICK!! Chris Brookes then drops down for the cover and with Takeshita playing defence, the two men secure the victory! One! Two! Three!

Chris Brookes & Konosuke Takeshita (W) - 09:32 Match Time.

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNERS! CHRIS BROOOOKKKKEEESSS! ANNNDD KONOSUKE TAAAKKESSHHIITTAAAAAA!" - Justin Roberts

Brookes & Takeshita stand tall as there is a nod of acceptance and respect for each other as the two men shake hands then bow in the middle of the ring. The Indianapolis crowd give a nice pop and cheer for the two men as Tony Schiavone reminds us that these two men will compete next week on Dynamite in a Dynamite Diamond Ring Qualifying Match! While there's jubilation for David Brookes & Konosuke Takeshita, there's distraught for Private Party after another loss. Quen & Kassidy head in hands sat outside of the ring perhaps pondering what's next for them as a team. Schiavone & Taz then sign off from AEW DARK and remind us that All Elite Returns next week for AEW Dynamite! LIVE from United Center, Chicago
