Authors Note: So, like a few before me, I'm bringing this 'BTB' across from a now dead forum. RIP, WC. Originally, I wasn't going to transfer this over and maybe do something new - I still might do something new too, watch this space - but I really missed this 'BTB' and I had so many ideas and plans that I was kind of uncomfortable with them not seeing the light of day.

My original plan was just going to post pretty much where I left off, for my own enjoyment and those that were already aware of my 'BTB' and that was following previously - but after speaking with a friend and being new to the site - I felt I at least owed a recap to anyone that might wish to follow. I'm just not great at recapping so hopefully what I'm about to present works. If anyone has any more questions or wants to know more, feel free to message me and I'll reply.

My version of All Elite Wrestling follows Double or Nothing in terms of the timeline at AEW All Out, and before Dynamite aired its first show. As you can see by my roster above, I've done things differently and I didn't bring some people along for the journey. People like Sonny Kiss, Marko Stunt, Dr Luther, Nyla Rose etc. I just didn't have any plans for them, and I wanted to bring in my own people and do things differently where I could while still keeping that AEW feel and vibe, hopefully.

In terms of shows, I have AEW Dynamite & AEW DARK. Dynamite of course being the Dynamite you see on Wednesdays while my version of DARK is shown afterwards and acts more like a developmental show or for those not getting much airtime. I'm also using it to trial a few things that maybe wouldn't be right just appearing on AEW Dynamite right away.

I think the biggest change to my AEW and the real one is, I've introduced a development system called 'Becoming the.. Elite!' which I'm not going to explain too much here - but I will do so in the recap updates you will see below.

The schedule as of now will be recaps from AEW All Out (My first show) to AEW Halloween Havoc and the 'Road to Halloween Havoc' in between. I then believe I'll have a post for the first episode of 'Becoming the.. Elite!' where you will hopefully be able to see how it works in more detail and get a better understanding. After that then it will be the 'Road to Revolution' which will be the build-up to my next show and then I'll be posting Revolution and the already written Dynamites as full shows.

Oh... And another thing I have that was different, but I guess not so much now is the Global Talent Exchange. It's essentially a working relationship between ROH, NJPW & AAA Mexico. I guess you could say I was the original 'Forbidden Door' Haha!

Appreciate anyone that takes the time to check this project out, new or old readers are most welcome! Hopefully I've done an okay job with the recaps and enjoy!

AEW: All Out!

1669644514511.png

This is where my AEW 'BTB' started with the show date being the August 31, 2019, and it followed much of the same IRL matches with only a few differences but enough to show I've gone in a different direction with my vision of All Elite Wrestling!

Starting with the announcement that All Elite Wrestling would create a 'Global Exchange' partnership with NJPW, ROH and AAA of Mexico! AAA would feature very heavily on my All Out card with the likes of Daga, Aero Star, Drago & Laredo Kid all featuring. In fact, AAA has been a small but meaningful feature of my AEW division going forward with NJPW & ROH likely to do so in the future. I just felt this was a cool way of having freedom and almost creating a 'universe' feeling within the same BTB.

Another big change from IRL would see All Out hold the Womens Casino Battle Royal with the vacant AEW Womens Championship on the line! Following the AAA trend with this Pay-Per-View; Mari & Faby Apache would take part in the Battle Royal along with Lady Shani and Le Hiedra of AAA Mexico. Mercedes Martinez, Ivelisse & Allie would all debut too! The biggest shock would come with the 'Joker' of the match being Rosemary! Rosemary would be aided by the Twisted Sisterz of Thunder Rosa & Holidead helping Rosemary to victory and beating Britt Baker to become the inaugural AEW Women's Champion!

The 'American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes's feud would continue with Shawn Spears! Cody winning the match after hitting Shawn Spears with the same chair Spears used to knock out Cody with and bust him open. The Cody & Spears feud wouldn't be done there though, tied at 1-1. More to come on that soon!

Kenny Omega would have a show-stealing match against a debuting 'Bastard' PAC! PAC stepping up and accepting the open challenge after Moxley wasn't declared fit after the attack at Double or Nothing. This would be the start of PAC using the Brutalizer which would prove to become a big deal going forward in my version of AEW. Very much like the Kenny & Mox feud IRL - this was not done by a long way, more to come on that too!

Following IRL - The Main Event would see Chris Jericho vs 'Hangman' Adam Page for the vacant AEW World Championship! I followed suit with this and had Jericho pick up the victory despite the best battling efforts of the Cowboy, playing up his leg injury going into the match. The real talking point though would come with me having CM Punk debut and appear on the stage to a rowdy Chicago crowd and a stare down ensuing with the NEW AEW World Champion, Chris Jericho! Ending the show. I beat AEW to the punch with Punk too :lol

Road to AEW: Halloween Havoc!

1669645655099.png

So as the title suggests, Halloween Havoc was my next AEW Pay-Per-View! It would feature 4 Dynamite episodes in the build-up including the debuting and inaugural episode of AEW: Dynamite of course.

The very first match on AEW Wednesday Dynamite would see the start of the inaugural AEW Tag Team Championship tournament where the winning team would be crowned the NEW and inaugural Champions! Best Friends would lose the match to a debuting Santana & Ortiz who would arrive with Diamante as LAX! LAX would continue progressing and beating everyone before them before reaching the finals of the Tag Team Tournament where the opponents would be Matt & Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks! Who won? Stay tuned for the Halloween Havoc recap!

'Hangman' Page while still getting to grips with the loss at All Out would arrive to Dynamite on a crutch nursing an injury that was only made worse in the losing effort to the man now calling himself 'Le Champion' - Chris Jericho, the AEW World Champion! 'Hangman' would make his claim that at 100% fit he felt he could have beaten Jericho but didn't want to make excuses and instead congratulated Jericho on his victory. How would Jericho take that news? Well, he would strike 'Hangman' with the Championship before breaking the crutch over the already injured leg. 'Hangman' Page would not be seen for a couple of weeks again in All Elite Wrestling and 'Le Champion' would only grow to become more insufferable as Champion. Jericho even throwing his own 'celebration' party where he would list his 'excluded' list as the name of 'Phil Brooks' would come up a few times before Jericho would make it clear that CM Punk was not invited.

Of course, though, in wrestling these celebrations are to be ruined, right? Despite an interview from CM Punk with Jim Ross and the self-proclaimed 'Best in the World' confirming he had not signed a contract to compete with AEW and was merely a spectator at All Out and just wanted to say hello at Chicago, he would appear at the celebration and would look to spoil Jericho's moment or so the Champion thought. Jericho knew what was coming and had it all planned out - Punk would be blindsided by the debuting 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager as both men attacked CM Punk.

Chris Jericho was a wanted man, and so was his Championship! His first defence was set with 'Hangman' Page and now CM Punk out of the picture - Up stepped Konnan with his protege, Daga! Konnan comparing Daga to a young Corazón de León! Konnan stating that he believed Daga could even become better than Jericho! With Jericho fully aware of the AAA partnership and self-proclaiming he has millions of fans in Mexico, he accepted the challenge and Jericho vs Daga was made official for Halloween Havoc!

One man missing from All Out was Maxwell Jacob Friedman and boy was he ready to tell the world exactly what he thought about him not being booked on the show. 'MJF' would call All Out a massive failure asking the audience how a future star like him couldn't get on the card - but a dinosaur like Dustin Rhodes could? 'MJF' would go on a tirade against Rhodes even going so far to say that his own Father Dusty Rhodes despised him more than I do, and that the only reason Dustin was in AEW was because of little Brother Cody as Dustin has always been a leach to the Rhodes name, looking for handouts. Dustin would of course respond and would tell 'MJF' that he didn't know what his problem was, or even who he was, but if he mentioned his father again, there would be a problem. The feud would continue and reach boiling points going into Halloween Havoc! 'MJF' slapping Dustin and taking every shot at his family and Dustin's legacy that he could at every oppertunity.

Dustin would express his feelings too, claiming that he felt 'MJF' was looking to make a name for himself by beating and belittling him. Dustin though would stand his ground - humiliating 'MJF' on one occasion knocking him on his ass with a returning slap! If it was boiling point before, the pan had now spilled, and the boiling water was bubbling everywhere. Dustin was being interviewed and stated that if Maxwell said one more thing about his father, he was coming for him! 'MJF' though had over ideas, attacking Dustin and beating him down! Claiming that Dustin was wrong and that it was indeed him who was coming for Dustin Rhodes! The two would agree to meet at Halloween Havoc - One on one!

Dustin wasn't the only Rhodes involved in a personal feud as despite the best attempts of younger Brother, Cody - The 'Chairman' Shawn Spears along with his manager; Tully Blanchard was not ready to let the feud go. Shawn suggesting that this feud wasn't over till he said it was over and he wouldn't say it was over till Cody was gone! Cody Rhodes would look to move on, ignoring the games from Spears but Shawn & Tully wanted Cody's attention and they got it! Attacking Arn Anderson and leaving him a bloody mess. Cody on the following Dynamite would then hunt down Spears, attempting to find him and eventually he would do so in the parking lot. A brawl ensuing as Rhodes & Spears beat each other senseless till a car would come screeching across the car park with the aim of running Cody Rhodes down! Cody narrowly avoiding the vehicle before Spears would gauge Cody's eyes, jumping in the back seat of the vehicle as it drove away. Who was behind the wheel? Well, we presume it was the man that's been turning Shawn Spears into a deranged and angry villain, the mastermind - Tully Blanchard. At least Cody believes so and despite his best efforts to avoid any more hurt and bloodshed originally - He now wanted revenge in the name of his mentor Arn Anderson. The feud started with the steel chair strike that was heard around the world, and it was now going to end with one as the two former friends, now enemies would compete in a chair match!

The 'Bastard' arrived in AEW by making Kenny Omega suffer at his hands with the Brutalizer and it continued on the following Dynamites to come on the Road to Halloween Havoc! PAC turning his attention to the friends of SCU! First it was Frankie Kazarian, then it was Christopher Daniels. Would Scorpio Sky follow suit and be forced to tap out to the 'Bastard' or would he pick up the biggest victory of his career by knocking off the undefeated PAC?!

What were the ladies doing I hear you ask? Well, let me tell you... One thing I instantly wanted to do with my version of All Elite Wrestling was hopefully make the Women's Division better than it is in IRL. AEW would come to quickly understand that the Twisted Sisterz of Holidead & Thunder Rosa helping the now AEW Womens Champion Rosemary was not a one-off and they would become the dominant force of the Womens Division known now as the Decay! The Decay would turn their attention to two friends in Kylie Rae & Dr Britt Baker DMD. Firstly, attacking Kylie before the Decay would begin to haunt and stalk Britt Baker, getting in her head, causing Britt to see visions of the Decay and Rosemary in mirrors and in her nightmares. Britt though would look to take a stand - chasing the dream of becoming Champion as she would face Rosemary for the Championship at Halloween Havoc!

As for another feud in the Division, step forward the Warrior of the Temple - Ivelisse! She would make her mark instantly on her debut by eliminating Awesome Kong from the Womens Casino Battle Royal at All Out! Awesome Kong like IRL was paired with Brandi Rhodes. Brandi attempting to use Kong as her muscle to capture and bring her the Championship but that of course was stopped by Ivelisse! Now, revenge was on the mind of Kong & Brandi with Ivelisse not backing down! At Halloween Havoc it would be Kong vs Ivelisse in a Hardcore Match!

Speaking of Hardcore - It was that simple for the next feud. Who was more hardcore? Joey Janela or Darby Allin? There was only one way to settle the matter and that was at Halloween Havoc in a Body Bag Match!

Remember when I said there was more to come on the Mox vs Kenny feud? Well, I lied. Only messing - I continued the IRL feud the two had and even went with a Lights Out match at Halloween Havoc! Moxley essentially saying it wasn't personal and that he went for the biggest name in the company and that now he was free from the shackles of WWE, the real Moxley was about to come through with a thirst for bloodlust and violence! As for Omega, this feud probably couldn't have come at a worse time - the loss to PAC would see Omega almost in an identity crisis, struggling with the weight and pressure of being the Omega that shined in Japan while having the breath of Moxley breathing down his neck and waiting to strike at any moment. Kenny would claim that he could beat Moxley at his own game, citing the return of the Cleaner! So, the match was made. Unofficial violence was about to occur as both men signed the contract and were set for war! Lights Out!

Authors Note: So, the next update and recap will be Halloween Havoc and everything that went down at the show.

AEW: Halloween Havoc!

1669842082114.png

The 'Buy-In' started with a debut - MVP joining Tony Schiavone on commentary duty for the Pre-Show as he claimed that with his wrestling days most likely behind him, he wanted to scout AEW for a potential protege claiming he knew what it took to get to the top and he could help someone with the right talent get there.

The opening match of the 'Buy-In' was a #1 Contender AEW Tag Team Championship between Dark Order (Uno & Grayson) Jurassic Express, Private Party & SoCal Uncensored. It would be the team of Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels who would win the match and thus earning a future shot at the AEW Tag Team Championships!

The last match of the Pre-Show was the Body Bag match! Who was more hardcore? Darby & Joey beating the hell out of each other and using every weapon they could get their hands on. Despite the best efforts of the 'Bad Girl' Penelope Ford it was the 'Relentless' Darby Allin coming out on top! Zipping up Joey's lifeless body to get the victory!

Halloween Havoc officially opened with the 'Bastard' PAC looking to make it three from three against SoCal Uncensored and make Scorpio Sky the next in line to tap to the Brutalizer! Scorpio started well and an upset looked on the cards until PAC drove Sky's knee into the steel steps and began to work the knee over and over, repeatedly. PAC at one point using the steel steps to trap Scorpios knee, inflicting even more damage. Despite the battling efforts - the ending came with what many predicted - another one who would be Brutalized. PAC picking up the victory and continuing the streak.

All Elite Wrestling's short history as a company has already been filled with history making moments and another one was announced at Halloween Havoc! A development system called 'Becoming the.. Elite!' was announced that would see 'classes' of wrestlers signed and going through their training with the aim of reaching Dynamite and performing on the various Pay-Per-Views, essentially the aim - 'Becoming the.. Elite!' See how it works? The One Fall Power Factory owned by QT Marshall was bought and refurbished to make sure that every wrestler in the development system had the best training and guidance to grow and shine. Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels would oversee the program while QT would take on the Head Coach role working with the likes of Dean Malenko, Arn Anderson & Dustin Rhodes.

The Class of 2019 was announced on the Pay-Per-View; Aussie Open (Kyle Fletcher & Mark Davis) Jiro Kuroshio, Shigehiro Irie, Kimber Lee, Sareee and the Von Erich's (Ross, Marshal & Lacey) Austin Gunn, Teal Piper, Konosuke Takeshita, Mark & Thomas Billington, Chris Brookes, Anthony Ogogo, Anna Jayy, Aerial Monroe, Faye Jackson, Kelly Klein & Salina De La Renta! To give you a little more detail on how this is going to work, and as you will see when I post the shows - think Proving Ground that was on the WWE Network. Behind the scenes footage of the wrestler's journey to 'Becoming the.. Elite!'

Back to the action and it was Awesome Kong with Brandi Rhodes vs Ivelisse next! I had been booking Ivelisse having won matches via guillotine previously with the story being could she lock it on the monstrous Kong? Well, she could, and she did - Ivelisse getting the victory and choking out Kong who didn't tap out, but instead faded to give Ivelise the victory! Full disclosure, at this point in time, I was really not enjoying Brandi IRL and what she was doing in AEW and so I quickly decided this would be the last time I'd be using Brandi in this kind of role with Kong. After this, Ivelisse has gone on to be heavily involved while Kong hasn't been seen since and Brandi has become more of a Wife and valet to Cody and the Rhodes Family.

The next match was the grudge match between 'MJF' & Dustin Rhodes! The personal feud at boiling point with the 'Natural' Dustin Rhodes itching to get his hands on the arrogant rookie, Maxwell Jacob Friedman. Dustin was teaching Maxwell a lesson, the veteran in control and looking to shatter his dreams, and maybe more in the lower regions before a lady would jump over the crowd and would cause a distraction on the ring apron. The Referee distracted while another man entered the ring and almost took Dustin's head off with a discuss clothesline! Aria Blake & 'Beefcake' Alexander Hammerstone! The three members formerly of the Dynasty in Major League Wrestling back on the same page as they helped 'MJF' to victory! The trio who would become known as the 'Friedman Family' standing over Dustin Rhodes as 'MJF' had one more message - "I'm BETTER than you, and you KNOW it!"

Next and it was time to crown some NEW Champions! It was the finals of the inaugural AEW Tag Team Championship Tournament! Here's the breakdown:

Round One:
- Best Friends vs LAX (LAX W, Dynamite Ep1)
- SoCal Uncensored vs Lucha Brothers (Lucha Bros W, Dynamite Ep1)
- Dark Order vs Billy & Austin Gunn (Dark Order W, Dark Ep1)
- Jurassic Express vs Private Party (Jurassic Express W, Dynamite Ep2)
- The Young Bucks vs Aero Star & Drago (Young Bucks W, Dynamite Ep2)
- Strong Hearts vs Kip Sabian & Sammy G (Kip & Sammy W, Dark Ep2)

Semi-Final:
- LAX vs Lucha Bros vs Jurassic Express (LAX W, Dynamite Ep3)
- Young Bucks vs Dark Order vs Kip Sabian & Sammy G (Young Bucks W, Dynamite Ep4)

With some Tag Team royalty at ringside in the form of the Steiner Brothers, Billy Gunn, Road Warrior Animal, Rock N' Roll Express & Arn Anderson the finalists of the Young Bucks & LAX would battle! Matt & Nick Jackson coming out on top as they became the NEW and first ever AEW Tag Team Champions!

Next up and it was the chair match! 'The Nightmare' Cody Rhodes vs 'The Chairman' Shawn Spears. In the spirit of Halloween, Cody was 'Captain American Nightmare' for the evening - looking for a heroic performance as he arrived solo to take on Shawn Spears with Tully Blanchard at his side. Cody would have the match where he wanted it, chair in hand and ready to swing when Shawn would pull on the heartstrings, pleading with Cody to not strike him as he apologised and suggested they could be friends again. Did Shawn have a change of heart? Did he mean it? Well, Tully took advantage! Low-blowing Cody and throwing the chair to Shawn and demanding him to finish the match! With the Philadelphia fans forced to watch on, and Referee Aubrey powerless due to the stipulation. It was bad news indeed for Cody as Spears raised the chair, leant back.. And.. WHAM! Cody busted open and bleeding everywhere.

Spears wasn't done. Tully grabbing another chair as Spears placed Cody's head on it while still wielding the bloodstained one in his hands as he looked to finish Cody Rhodes, perhaps for good. Brandi Rhodes would come down, crying and pleading for Shawn to not hurt her Husband anymore! The ending was nigh, and Cody would end up coming back into the match, turning the tables and using the same chair that started this feud and story back on Spears. Cody screaming "THIS ENDS.. NOW!" as he swung for the head of Spears and knocked him down for good. Cody picking up the victory! One! Two! Three!

It was Womens Championship action next as the DR had an appointment with the 'Demon Assassin' Rosemary! This match did not go to plan for Britt Baker DMD. The mind games and the mental torture of the Decay perhaps seeping into the mind of Britt as she looked in fear of her opponent and with good reason. Rosemary with Holidead & Thunder Rosa had been dominant, using the numbers game at every oppertunity. Britt would try to put up a fight - but at one point in the match she would connect with the back of her head to the turnbuckle and would fall down to the canvas - worrying everyone! Rosemary like a hyena though wanted to pounce, and she did - The Referee in the end forced to stop the match. This would then lead to Baker suffering a concussion and not being seen on AEW tv after the end of Halloween Havoc.

IT'S MAIN EVENT TIME! (Kinda, Lights Out is 'unofficial') and it was 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho defending the AEW World Championship against the underdog Daga! Despite a plucky performance from Daga, as expected it was Jericho that would pick up the win! A talking point at the end was Hager who accompanied Jericho putting hands on Konnan and striking him down to the floor with a right hook. After the match Hager & Jericho would beat down Daga starting an unlikely but personal feud that was growing with intensity as you'll see in the coming updates and shows.

Okay, Okay.. So now it was time for the ACTUAL MAIN EVENT! LIGHTS OUT! So as explained previously, I followed much of the IRL stuff between Mox & Kenny to this point but slightly changing the narrative with Moxley wanting to explode onto the AEW scene by beating the biggest name while Kenny was kind of battling with his own identity and needing a big win. Mox & Omega would beat each other down to a bloody mess! Barbed Wire, Kendo sticks, Trashcans & chairs! This match had it all including a Paradigm Shift through the Halloween Havoc themed Pumpkin Stage! Yep, imagine that visual Haha! The match would end with Jon Moxley winning! This being his match and his style which you will see becoming crucial to the story because this was long from being done as you will see in the Road to Revolution update!

Authors Note: Hopefully this has been beneficial to anyone wanting to check out my BTB, or even serving as a remainder to anyone that followed my BTB previously. Thank you to anyone and everyone that gives it a glance and if you have any questions or would like something explained a little more - feel free to message me. Stay tuned for the Road to Revolution update to come next!

All Elite Wrestling is live streaming from Norcross, GA on YouTube and their various Social Media outlets. There's a real buzz around the company following Dynamite heading into Halloween Havoc in just two days' time. However today isn't about Dynamite, or Halloween Havoc. All Elite Wrestling is expanding.

The live footage shows AEW President CEO Tony Khan stood in front of a podium with a red ribbon behind him and to the side of him seated are Executive Vice Presidents; Kenny Omega & Cody Rhodes on one side while on the other side; Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels and Michael Cuellari better known as QT Marshall. The camera pans out to widen the shot to showcase some various media outlets in front of the podium while also showing the building behind the podium which is known as the One Fall Power Factory

"Ladies and Gentleman, thank you for attending! I will share some words and what exactly we are doing here today and then I will hand over to my business partners and experts to outlay further the plans and how we're looking to shape the future of All Elite Wrestling! I am humbled and amazed at how quickly we've grown as a company in such a short space of time. The numbers and figures are outstanding and I have no doubt that All Elite Wrestling is heading in the right direction and will do so for many years to come! This in part is down to several reasons. One; the fantastic talent we have here in AEW! Two; We are fortunate to have the backing that many new companies wouldn't be able to expect at this stage, and visionaries who are not afraid to strike while the iron is hot and take advantage of certain situations. And most importantly; we have the most loyal and best fans in the world and that's what today is all about!

We here at All Elite Wrestling are so, so proud of what we're building but the end game is not about today, it's about tomorrow and the legacy that we all leave behind and for the years to come to make All Elite Wrestling the ELITE! In Professional Wrestling! Part of that vision is always looking to the future. Keeping your fingers on the pulse and securing the best talent around the world and moulding them to become.. ELITE! Ladies and Gentleman, I present to you our latest business adventure and wrestling strategy as we cut the ribbon to a bright partnership and future here at the One Fall Power Factory!"
- Tony Khan

QT Marshall & Tony Khan then shake hands before both cutting the ribbon to the newly redeveloped and now state of the art Power Factory! QT Marshall then allows the media presence to finish getting in their photo's and applauds before stepping up to the podium.

"Hello everyone, thank you for gathering here today! I am the Head Coach of what I consider to be one of the finest wrestling schools in the world today; right here at the Power Factory! What started from humble beginnings with me and my amazing team; now blossoms into something truly amazing! Here at the One Fall Power Factory we seek out raw talent, and we build them into wrestlers from the ground up! Pro Wrestling! Sports Performance! Health and Nutrition! Strength and conditioning! And when we feel that you're on the right path, we even have the opportunity to showcase you in front of live crowds at our in house Live Events known as 1FW Live! All this with the sole aim of our students; Becoming.. The Elite!" - QT Marshall

QT finishes speaking and up next it's Executive Vice Presidents; Kenny Omega & Cody. The media outlets go into a snap frenzy as they take their shots of the wrestlers. Omega & Cody seem to share a joke as they approach the podium in happy, jovial celebration before Cody step's up all business like.

"Wow! Who would have thought All Elite Wrestling could grow so quickly in such a short space of time. It truly is amazing and humbling. Everyone that supported us, and continues to support us, we thank you! We love you! And this is just the beginning, trust me! I do however want to touch back on something Mr Tony Khan said when he talked about the support and backing; which of course has come from him and his amazing family! You know, often me, the Bucks, Kenny and Hangman will throw out an idea; but this is the man that makes it happen and he won't ever take any credit so Tony, we thank you! Now.. The Power Factory; It's awesome you guys, I've got to tell you. I can't wait for you all to see inside and it's my job to announce that today yes we're giving a platform for our wrestlers to learn and grow as people, to become elite! And that's the main aim but of course with anything wrestling, or any time you're in front of a camera, it's about how you deal with that pressure? Can you overcome it? Will you crumble under the weight of it? So I'm announcing that you; the AEW fanbase will be able to follow on with this ground breaking journey of these wrestlers becoming.. The Elite! On our very own YouTube channel. Now, Kenny, over to you my friend" - Cody Rhodes

Kenny shakes Cody's hand before thanking him and stepping up to the podium.

"Thanks', Cody! So, I guess my role in all this has been working alongside some of our amazing coaches; Dean Malenko, Dallas Page, Dustin Rhodes and listening to some of the greatest minds in this business-like Jim Ross while scouring the globe with Head of Talent Relations; Christopher Daniels to find and bring some of the best untapped talents in the world today and bring them here to the Power Factory with the aim of becoming.. The Elite! I am pleased to say that mission has been achieved. Each wrestler signed here will be signed as Development Talents with the aim of making it to Dynamite and progressing in All Elite Wrestling! I know more than most that there will be setbacks, we're all learning but as long as you give everything you have, and you listen to the coaches here, you too will achieve your dreams! I want to wish everyone good luck!" - Kenny Omega

Kenny then thanks the media before shaking the hand of Christopher Daniels who now steps forward as the two pass each other. Chris Daniels with a beaming smile across his face; clearly a proud moment for him as he steps up to the podium and begins to speak.

"Hello everyone, I am Christopher Daniels and I'm in a fortunate position to be the Head of Talent Relations for All Elite Wrestling! Now there's no doubt that a role like this, comes with its up's and its downs. It's highs and its lows. Sometimes I'm in a position where I have to bring bad news, but days like today, is what makes me love my backstage role almost as much as I do my TV role. I have had the honour and support along with coaches and the likes of Kenny to seek the best raw talent that we could find not only here in America, but in the United Kingdom! Australia! and Japan too! It is my pleasure and privilege to announce that as of today, we have 21 of the best talents in the world today! All signed exclusively to All Elite Wrestling while some will be allowed to float around the independents and finish their contractual obligations with our blessing. Today is the first official day that the One Fall Power Factory opens its doors, redeveloped, revolutionised and primed with all the ingredients including the best trainers and guidance coaches in the world to successfully help our students become.. The Elite! Ladies and Gentlemen! It is now time to introduce our inaugural All Elite Wrestling Power Factory Class of 2019!" - Christoper Daniels

Daniels leads the way in applauds as he turns around and the One Fall Power Factory opens its doors as the students come flooding through the doorway. The media snap away with their photos, looking to secure shots of some of the stars of tomorrow that All Elite Wrestling plans to present. The students one by one make their way up to the stage, shaking hands with Tony Khan, his executives; Cody & Kenny, as well as Head Coach; QT Marshall. It's not long before the stage is full of some of the best talent from around the world as they stand in front of the media as the process to chase their wrestling dreams starts today!

Massively into this. Salina Del Renta was one of my fav managers in MLW and such a great villain. Aussie Open are imo one of the best teams on the planet, Chris Brookes is amazing as well and Takeshita has become a fav of mine in MLW (he is also adorable in real life). There are some other fun names there too but looking forward to this/ seeing what you do with someone like Ogogo who had serious potential imo

Looking forward to this carrying on over here my friend! I will be reading and leaving feedback as much as my time allows. Nice to see this as I think there's a lack of good AEW bookers at the moment.

Road to AEW; Revolution!

So, following Halloween Havoc came my next Pay-Per-View in the form of Revolution! With just two Dynamites between Halloween Havoc & Revolution, it was a quick turnaround but that doesn't mean it wasn't action packed and explosive! Especially explosive if your name is Darby Allin but more on that later!

The first Dynamite following Halloween Havoc was a Halloween edition episode with 'Le Champion' kicking off the episode following his win over the underdog Daga. Jericho holding a first ever live episode of 'Talk is Jericho' inside an AEW ring as he promised us a legendary guest that many consider the greatest of all time! Who was it you ask? Well, Chris Jericho, of course! Jericho hosting and being a guest on his own show as he talked up how great he was before announcing that he had the oppertunity to decide his next opponent at Revolution! 'Le Champion' announced that in the spirit of Halloween - He had arranged a Halloween themed Battle Royal. Every entrant in costume as he sat at the commentary desk eating candy and drinking a little bit of the bubbly as he watched on with a grin on his face. It wasn't long before the commentary recognised that these entrants were not exactly good, and was starting to see this was all a big joke to Jericho who clearly didn't want a challenge at Revolution. There however was one stand out in the match who eliminated entrant after entrant as Jericho began to spit out his candy and worry. A man wearing a 'Ghost' costume and it was the stuff of nightmares of Jericho as he was seeing his plan explode in front of his very eyes. It would then come down to two people! A 'Ghost' and a 'Cowboy' - Jericho now sending Swagger down to try and make sure the 'Ghost' would be eliminated only for him to fight off Jake Hager and send the 'Cowboy' over the top rope after a buckshot lariat!! Yep! The jig was up, and the 'Ghost' was indeed a 'Cowboy' in disguise as it would be revealed to be Adam 'Hangman' Page!

Chris Jericho was now furious, and would spend the rest of his evening trying to get the match cancelled. At this point, we would also start to see the inner workings of an Inner-Circle as Jericho with Hager would ask Sammy Guevara to take care of Daga that evening on Dynamite so he would be free to track down Tony Khan and get the match cancelled. It would come down to the final couple minutes of Dynamite where Jericho would come out again, refusing to let the show go off the air without the match against 'Hangman' Page being voided. It was not Jericho's night and the Champion was in for another surprise as CM Punk dressed as the cameraman in the ring would place the camera down before ending Dynamite with a GTS on the Champion! Revenge for the attack in the build up to Halloween Havoc. The final Dynamite before Revolution would see the match between Jericho & 'Hangman' not only confirmed but with the stipulation that the 'Best in the World' CM Punk would be made Referee to make sure the match ended fair and square in the middle of the ring! Would Jericho's reign as AEW Champion fall at the second hurdle with the 'Cowboy' getting redemption? Or would 'Hangman' fall short once more as 'La Champion' left Revolution with the AEW World Championship once more. We will see!

One of my favourite things that I've created in my BTB next, and that's Taz introducing the NEW Suplex Machine! Jeff Cobb! Vignettes would see Taz talk about still having that desire to hurt people and make a statement, still having a fire and anger in him despite not being able to compete. The next best thing? Find someone to do the hurting for you, and that's exactly what happened here! Jeff Cobb debuting on Dynamite and destroying all three members of the Strong Hearts. An open challenge was then set for Revolution! "Beat him if you can, survive if he lets you!"

1673996228869.png

One of the major talking points coming out of Halloween Havoc was who were these two people that aided 'MJF' in victory against Dustin Rhodes and what would would happen next? 'MJF' taking little time to introduce his 'Friedman Family' - Alexander Hammerstone & Aria Blake. 'MJF' then going right back to mocking Dusty, Dustin and quite frankly anyone associated with the Rhodes name or legacy. This would lead to Diamond Dallas Page taking exception and suggesting he's heard enough from a "piss-ant" like 'MJF' and wasn't going to stand by and do nothing anymore! 'DDP' suggesting what Dusty meant to him, and the love he has for the Rhodes Family. 'DDP' would take a stand alongside the 'Natural' Dustin Rhodes as together they would challenge 'MJF' & Alexander Hammerstone of the Friedman Family to a match at Revolution!

Another big talking point coming out of Halloween Havoc was what was next for the 'American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes, and was the grudge feud with 'Chairman' Shawn Spears finally over? Well, speaking of over, the alliance between Tully Blanchard & Shawn Spears was certainly over! Blanchard accusing Spears on Dynamite of being weak and not capable of doing what was needed to finish Cody Rhodes at Halloween Havoc! Tully suggesting that the name 'Blanchard' only associates with greatness and that the 'other company' was correct - Spears will never amount to anything in this business! Seemingly distraught and broken, as well as hurt Shawn Spears sunk only for a hand out to come in the form of his friend turned rival despite the wishes of his Wife Brandi Rhodes. Cody felt he owed it to the old Shawn that was once his friend to at least try, and try he did. Approaching Shawn as he was down who had questioned if Cody had come to gloat? The 'American Nightmare' was in full EVP mode as he offered the services of the company in the form of rehab. Cody suggesting that Shawn's mind had been warped by Tully Blanchard who had now discarded him and left him alone. Cody suggesting he could help Shawn, but Shawn first must help himself and accept the help. Shawn would finally give in, teary eyed falling into a hug from Cody as the 'American Nightmare' hugged his former friend. Shawn Spears was off to rehab! During this time it was also declared that Cody was not physically able to compete due to injuries and so wouldn't compete at Revolution.

Two more people who wouldn't compete at Revolution was Kenny Omega & Jon Moxley! To the surprise of nobody after the war and fight they had leaving blood, sweat and tears in the ring, and around ringside - both men would be declared unfit to compete and so wouldn't appear on the Revolution match card.

So, Deco, what was that explosive talk I hear ya' ask? Well, let me tell you! So, while Darby & Joey Janella did have a body bag match at Halloween Havoc, the feud and the need to be more hardcore wasn't over and it was decided on the Halloween Special that the two men would face-off once more! A Halloween Street-Fight! This match was nothing but a brawl - both men hitting each other with every weapon under the sun as Darby & Joey took the fight to the backstage. Darby eventually throwing Janella into a dumpster and wheeling him out on to the stage before Penelope Ford would nail Darby over the head with one her heels as Joey would exit the dumpster retching at the smell. The 'Bad Couple' would then take it a step further though, throwing Darby into the dumpster and closing the lid. What would come next? "GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY!" was the cry from Jim Ross as the 'Bad Couple' pushed the dumpster off the stage and onto the pyrotechnic equipment below! BOOM! The Main Event drawing to a pitch black arena with the fuses blown. The lights coming back on to see Penelope & Joey seemingly impressed with the damage caused as help tried to get to Darby as quick as possible. Debry to this day has not been since since with confirmation that was indeed being taken to a nearby medical facility and treated.

The following Dynamite would see the 'Bad Couple' tease some remorse as Darby was confirmed to be in a bad way and out for the foreseeable future by the commentary team in a medical update. Instead, Joey took the oppertunity to gloat before pronouncing himself as the AEW 'Deathmatch' Champion! Complete with his own made belt, not officially recognised by the company Janela would start to make his own matches, offering to fight anyone who wanted to step up to the hardcore plate and face him at Revolution!

History was made at Halloween Havoc in the form of the FIRST EVER AEW Tag Team Champions! Matt & Nick Jackson of the Young Bucks the inaugural Champions after winning the Tag Team Tournament and defeating LAX in the final. The path was pretty clear for what was next for the Young Bucks. The Halloween Havoc Pre-Show would see 'SCU' in the form of Christopher Daniels & Franke Kazarian defeat three other teams to become the #1 Contenders! The Young Bucks & SCU respectful in the build up and clearly friends, this one was about putting on a spectacle for the fans and of course, retaining or winning the AEW Tag Team Championships!

1673996273771.png

Next it's all about the women of All Elite Wrestling! Starting with Ivelisse! Ivelisse securing a victory over Awesome Kong at Halloween Havoc that would see her make a wave in AEW and earn some praise, and perhaps jealousy from her former SHINE tag team partner; Mercedes Martinez! Mercedes recognising that Ivelisse had earned some recognition with such a victory and the manner of it, and it possibly leading to a future AEW Women's Championship Match. Mercedes would see the oppertunity that if she could beat Ivelisse, and prove she was the better of the 'Las Sicarias' then she could move ahead in the totem pole of the Division. The two women would agree to face each other at Revolution.

As for the Champion, Rosemary and her Twisted Sisterz of the Decay! They was busy making a lot of enemies. After Rosemary's attack of Britt Baker at Halloween Havoc, causing the concussion and the way they went about it afterwards - the division would look to unite. Shida, Allie & Kylie Rae challenging the Decay to a six-women tag match at the Pay-Per-View!

One surprise post Halloween Havoc was the intrigue being built around Evil Uno & Stu Grayson of the Dark Order! Following another loss at Halloween Havoc, on the final Dynamite before Revolution we would get a vignette airing. I decided rather then explain it - I'm going to post the 'promo' here for you guys to see. Now my 'Dark Order' has been up till this point nothing more then a tag team name for Uno & Grayson, with a couple of 'creeper' appearances. Cards on the table, this will be a major story going forward and was actually planned before I started this project, and before anything that happened IRL with the Dark Order or at this point in time happened. That said - Here's the promo! Enjoy.

Dynamite returns from the break and we are shown some video footage. The footage shows Evil Uno & Stu Grayson of the Dark Order walking through what appears to be a forest during the night. Twigs and small stones crunching beneath their feet as they make their way through the foliage and trees. They come out on the other side where we see a bunch of people, all in black clothing and masked, the jet black night in the background but the men known to AEW as the 'Creepers' of Dark Order are illuminated by wooden sticks burning to create light and a pathway to a large stone structure where a throne is placed on top. Sat on the throne is someone dressed in a large purple cloak with the hood up, hiding and protecting the identity as Uno & Grayson gingerly, nervously make their way through the lit up path among the 'Creepers' who are motionless - nothing more than eyes look back at the duo of the Dark Order. Uno & Grayson then reach the stone like structure and drop to one knee before looking down to the floor and Evil Uno speaks..

"Our attendance was requested?.." - Evil Uno

"I am running out of patience with you, two. I gave you a second chance of life. A second chance to become something more than a joke. I used my resources to bring you into All Elite Wrestling with the aim of you two setting the foundations for a better future.. A Dark! Order! All you have done is lose, bring shame, bring embarrassment.. FAILURE! This is your last chance. The next time you lose and you fail me - You will no longer stand behind me - You will fall beneath my feet and be crushed by what's to come - Do you understand?"
- Hooded Figure

Stu Grayson & Evil Uno are still kneeled down, both are almost cowering at the words of this hooded figure and what he's capable of doing. There's a moments pause before Grayson & Uno look up at the hooded figure while still kneeled down and reply at the same time..

"Yes, Exalted One!" - Evil Uno & Stu Grayson

The footage then fades and the live feed returns back to ringside

The final story going into Revolution revolved around MVP and his appearance at Halloween Havoc. MVP was on a scouting mission and it was soon clear that his eyes were on Scorpio Sky! MVP inviting Sky onto his show, the MVP lounge to praise him and his performance against PAC at Halloween Havoc. MVP though suggesting that two people were holding him back - Chris Daniels & Frankie Kazarian! MVP suggesting that they don't care about Scorpio, he's a back up dancer to them and now that they have their tag title match at Revolution, there was no room for Scorpio Sky in the picture. Despite Scorpio agreeing with some of what MVP had to say, after feeling like his friends had forgot about him after going after the tag titles, and not checking on him after suffering an injury against PAC, Scorpio would turn down MVP. Suggesting that while he appreciated that MVP believed in him.. He believes in himself too, and he doesn't need to leave his friends to achieve his goals. MVP though was persistent, and tried to get under the skin of Sky and it worked. MVP baiting Scorpio Sky into a match at Revolution! If Sky won, MVP would agree to leave him alone. If MVP won? Well, Sky would leave 'SCU' and would stand alongside MVP who promised he could take him to the top!

EDIT: So, I looked back after posting this, and I forgot three things! They actually took place on DARK. The first one was around Ben Carter who made his debut as an unsigned talent, and competed against Jungle Boy! The two had a stormer of a match which would end with social media a buzz with people hash tagging for AEW to sign Ben Carter! Pretty much as it was IRL Haha! Ben Carter then competed on the following weeks DARK episode defeating Kip Sabian. After the match, Head of Talent Relations Christopher Daniels would then hand 'The Prodigy' an official contract, confirming him as the first name of the second 'Becoming.. The Elite!' class at a date yet to be announced or confirmed.

Second and it's Bea Priestley! While not featuring much on Dynamite at all; Bea has been on DARK regularly and she's been comfortably racking up the wins! The 'Top Gajin' impressing everyone and welcoming new challenges. Just something to keep in mind that you will understand more going forward as Bea will be featuring even more.

The next is more important and happened on the same DARK episode, the last one before Revolution! The Main Event would see the Lucha Brothers take on Best Friends. Penta & Fenix would pick up the victory, but before DARK ended we were greeted with an unexpected debut during the victory. A lady wearing a slim tight fitting black dress with long black hair making her way through the crowd as she stopped in the front row and began to applaud the Lucha Brothers while Penta & Fenix just looked on and gestured to show they was not anticipating the arrival of this lady.

1673998143615.png

Those of you aware , and knowing this lady to be Salina de le Renta. Well done! Selina was part of the inaugural 'Becoming.. The Elite!' class, and so, what is she doing here you ask?! Stayed tuned.

Authors Note: Hope everyone enjoyed the holidays and is having a good start to their New Year! So, that's the road to Revolution recap done, and next will be the show which I intend to post in full. Everything else then going forward will be as it should be, posted as an actual show unless stated. I'll also start including some of the AEW DARK's that took place after Revolution (One of which will be a 'Becoming.. The Elite!' special episode) along with the AEW Dynamites and any of the 'news' or "Becoming.. The Elite!" episodes too. As always, appreciate anyone that takes time to check out my thread. Thank you!

Before we could get to the 'Main-Card' of Revolution there was still plenty of time for some last minute plugs and video packages for the final attempt to sell the PPv to those watching at home. The camera then pans around the Royal Farms Arena as we were shown the Revolution custom set for the first time; Green lighting and LED Revolution boards adorn the stage as we see the hardcore AEW fan base make their way down the bleachers and begin to take their seats ringside ready for the 'Pre-Show' to begin.

The camera then pans to the commentary table where we hear the voice of TNT Tony Schiavone for the first time this evening as he welcomes the fans to the "Buy-In!" and begins to rundown the stacked card for this evening and that this is going to be a show that the fans are not going to want to miss, and that they can order the PPv in full RIGHT NOW, LIVE from their PPv providers worldwide. Tony then confirms some BREAKING NEWS and says that tonight for the first time since Halloween Havoc! We're going to hear from 'The Cleaner' - Kenny Omega! And that he's invited Jon Moxley with a proposition for him LIVE tonight!

Tony then confirms that as always he will be joined by his long time friend and Hall of Famer - Jim Ross! This evening, but right now joining him at this time.. The Chief Brand Officer of All Elite Wrestling! Brandi Rhodes! A smiling Brandi then takes her place at the commentary table, before waving to the camera thanking Tony for allowing her to come and hang out, and enjoy the Buy-In! Tony confirms the pleasure is all his before confirming the first match of the evening and reminds us that this 'match' has not been sanctioned by Tony Khan and that Joey Janella is defending his 'own' Championship that is not recognised by All Elite Wrestling. Brandi then giggles as Tony tried his best to get through the match announcement before suggesting that 'The Bad Boy' Joey Janella is a law to himself and a wildcard here in AEW; You never know what's going to happen with him around.

The Royal Farms arena was still filling up, but there was enough people sat at their seats to let the 'Bad Couple' know exactly how they felt about them. The boo's going up more as Joey came down with one side of his face painted in reference to Darby Allin as he raised his 'Deathmatch' Championship in the air for all to see. Penelope Ford flaunting her assets around him as the couple shared an over the top kiss to the annoyance of many jealous males watching on I'm sure.

1674169100742.png

All eyes then turned towards the stage as the Baltimore crowd awaited who was ready to answer the open 'Deathmatch Championship' Match. However, there eyes quickly turned from the stage to a section of the crowd..

ENTER SANDMAN!

1674169159829.png

Nostalgia was at an all time high right now. Despite being in his 50's - with Metallica blaring from the speakers, trusty Cane in hand and Sandman guzzling down a beer as he puffed on his cigarette the AEW crowd didn't care and were on their feet cheering as the Sandman looked to roll back the years as he made his way to the ring.

Open 'Deathmatch Championship' Match.
'The Bad Boy' Joey Janela (C) W/ 'The Bad Girl' Penelope Ford vs ???

Summary:

If anyone was expecting a 'wrestling' match between Janela & The Sandman, then they were honestly kidding themselves. Sandman entered the ring and immediately the bell sounded. Joey Janela cockily walking up to him and clutching some money from his pocket before throwing it at the Sandman, perhaps a clear indication that Joey has created this match off his own back? Joey would then go further, grabbing what remained of the Sandman's cigarette and placing it in his mouth, taking a drag and then telling the Sandman to do the "job" and lay down. The Sandman would stare out towards the crowd before grasping his Singapore Cane and lashing it across the head of the 'Bad Boy' knocking him down! WHACK! WHACK! Sandman followed up the first strike with two more across the back before showing the now bent and broken cane to the crowd for another cheap pop.

The 'match' would only continue on for a few more minutes. The tied had completely changed after Sandman's start with the cane and this point, Joey Janela was on top haven took advantage of Sandman's age and lack of stamina or ring shape. The 'Bad Boy' brought trash cans, cookie trays and chairs into play as he began to beat down on the ECW legend. Embarrassing him as he ripped open his vest before choking him with it. Once Joey was done taking advantage, he grabbed his 'Deathmatch' Championship belt and used it to strike Sandman across the already busted open head. The blood now dripping down the faceplate. With Sandman now a bloody and beaten mess - Janela ended the "contest" with a Package Piledriver on top of a chair and covered for the victory! One! Two! Three!

Joey Janela (W) - 05:32 Match Time.

"YOUR WINNER! THE SELF-PROCLAIMED 'DEATHMATCH' CHAMPION! HE IS A BAADDDD BOOYYYY, JOOOEYYY! JAANNEELLAAAA!"
- Justin Roberts

The 'Bad Couple' now stand over a bloody and beaten Sandman with smirks across their faces. Joey breaking pose to pick back up the money that was thrown at Sandman as he stashes it down Penelope's top and the couple embrace for another kiss as Joey flips off the crowd to a chorus of jeers once again.

27gBHvx.png

With the ringside workers clearing the ring and the Royal Farms Arena now at 100% capacity, it was almost time for the final match of the Buy-In! Video footage was shown on the big screen just quickly showcasing the history as well as the recent exchanges of 'Las Sicarias' - Ivelisse & Mercedes Martinez! Tony reminding us that there's respect, maybe even still a friendship between these two ladies but this is all about the bigger goal of becoming the AEW Women's Champion and looking to be next in line! Brandi then speaks and says that she knows Ivelisse all too well after coming face to face with her as recently as Halloween Havoc, and that was a mistake! Brandi says that when it comes to Ivelisse & Martinez, they're two of the toughest, baddest bitches she's ever seen in this business and this match should be great.

Singles Match.
Ivelisse vs Mercedes Martinez

Summary:

The ring bell sounded as the two former SHINE tag team Champions stood in opposite corners and exchanged words. Mercedes mouthing that this isn't personal, it's business as she see's Ivelisse higher up the ladder and knows with a win today she could put herself right in and among contention for the AEW Women's Championship. On the other side was Ivelisse. Confidence at an all time high after conquering Awesome Kong at Halloween Havoc having put the monster to sleep with a Guillotine Choke. Ivelisse & Mercedes then walked towards the centre of the ring as Ivelisse then replied; lets do this! Mercedes with a smile on her face nodding along before firing with the first strike! The two Latinas exchanging blows as the crowd went along for the ride with cheers and boo's depending on the landing of the strike.

This match was aggressive and strong, neither lady ever willing to back down or pull their punches. Mercedes though more willing to do what it would take to win; on a couple of occasions grabbing the tights of Ivelisse or using the ropes for leverage only for Ivelisse to kick out at the last second as Mercedes would shrug her shoulders and smile at Ivelisse who stared back - perhaps surprised how far Mercedes was willing to go to achieve the victory she so desperately wants.

With the match clock ticking - Mercedes appears to have Ivelisse where she wants her, hands gripped around her back and midsection as she attempts the Three Amigas! Martinez lands with two and goes for the third - Ivelisse though uses the momentum and slips out of the German Suplex before scrambling towards Mercedes and latching on the Guillotine Choke! Mercedes is caught completely by surprise and begins to flail her arms around in a panic. Stretching and reaching for the ropes but she's pretty much caught in the middle of the ring. Ivelisse begins to tighten the grip and it's enough - Mercedes is out and is unable to answer the call from Referee official Rick Knox as he calls for the bell.

Ivelisse (W) - 9:46 Match Time.

"ANNNDDD YOUR WINNER! IVVVVEELISSSEEEEE!" - Justin Roberts

Ivelisse stands back up, heavy breathing knowing that she had to grip onto life to choke out Mercedes with the Guillotine Choke as Referee Knox raises her arm in victory! Brandi Rhodes putting Ivelisse over on commentary and wondering if it's a matter of time before she's face to face with Rosemary, the current AEW Women's Champion? Mercedes then begins to stir with some help from the back and is starting to come around to the realization that she was chocked out and the match is over as Martinez pounds the canvas before giving Ivelisse a respectful nod and then quickly exiting the ring etched in frustration. Ivelisse then motions the Championship around her waist as Tony thanks everyone for joining the Buy-In and hopes to see everyone at the Revolution main show which he reminds us is moments away and it's not too late to order! Him & Brandi then say their final goodbyes and the Buy-In comes to a close with Ivelisse standing tall in the middle of the ring.

All Elite fans; We're going to start the show HOT! Open Challenge! Beat him if you can, survive if he lets you!" - Tony Schiavone

A video package then plays on the big screen. We're shown the promo from Taz on Dynamite talking about the desire to hurt people but knowing he can't do it anymore, and instead finding a protégé; A NEW Human Suplex Machine! The video then skips to the arrival of Jeff Cobb! The powerhouse islander debuting in AEW on Dynamite and laying waist to all that stood before him; throwing around all three members of the Strong Hearts - CIMA, El Lindaman & T-Hawk! The video package ending with the promo and open challenge from Taz..

"I WARNED you All. The MOOD around here has just CHANGED. And believe me, we're just getting started. What you see before you is the BADDEST SON OF A BITCH IN THE WRESTLING GAME RIGHT NOW! PERIOD! 1674170324991.png

Intrigue was building as Jeff Cobb stood menacingly in the ring. All black singlet with the black towel draped across his head while Taz stood to the side of him wearing a black and orange suit; hyping up his protégé, and working the crowd as attention then turned to the stage to see who was about to answer the call..

HERO'S WELCOME!!

1674170411009.png

The Baltimore crowd popped with genuine surprise as the former PWG, CZW, ROH & NXT star stepped out from behind the curtain and onto the stage. The commentary quick to put over the well travelled veteran as a former PWG World Champion, One time ROH Tag Team Champion and a multi-time CZW Champion! An impressive list of accolades for one of the best wrestlers of his generation.

As Hero made his way to the ring; Cobb remained motionless and still his face covered with the towel. Taz now flexing his shoulders and scrunching up his face as Hero entered the ring - he knows that his protégé is in for a fight and then removes the towel as Cobb lets out a roar before going face to face with Hero as the crowd begin to cheer at the face off before the bell sounds.

"Beat him if you can, Survive if he lets you" Open Challenge.
Jeff Cobb W/ Taz vs Chris Hero

Summary:
The ring bell sounded and immediately the AEW crowd chanted "This is Awesome!" as Hero & Cobb stood opposed to each other; 'The NEW Suplex Machine' vs 'The KO Artist' - the excitement at an all time high as Jeff Cobb was no doubt about to get his first real test since joining All Elite Wrestling.

Cobb & Hero traded strikes to start the match with both men taking what the other had and firing back with one of their own. Neither man was backing down and the fight was on! Cobb though switched his style, blocking one of the strikes and then gripping Hero around the waist before wowing the fans in attendance as he began to throw the 6ft4 Hero around the ring with a variations of suplex's! "SUPLEX CITY!" sounded out from the Baltimore crowd as Cobb had no interest in entertaining their comparisons to Brock as he continued to beat down on Chris with raw aggression and power as Taz watched on from ringside.

The match clock was now around the nine minute mark and Hero despite early adrenaline getting him through was starting to show signs of someone that's a little match rusty as he began to tire a little despite fighting back and landing some big strikes on the powerhouse islander; Jeff Cobb. Hero then took control of the match and for a moment looked like he could potentially win it. With the crowd behind him Hero nailed Cobb with the Cyclone! a discuss big boot rocking Cobb and knocking him backwards against the ropes as he tried to stay on his feet before Hero then ran against the ropes and attempted to knock out Cobb with the KO! Jeff Cobb though able to shake of the Cyclone before ducking the KO and latching in the TAZZMISSION!

The energy and support from the crowd was instantly sucked away as Cobb like a python began to constrict around the body of Hero taking him down and suffocating him within an inch of his life. Cobb had the match won as Hero was lifeless, but he was ready to put on a show as he dragged up Chris Hero and then brought him back down to the canvas with a TOUR OF THE ISLANDS! Hero's body slamming against the canvas as Cobb hooked the legs and Referee Mike Posey counted the pin fall; One! Two! Three!

Jeff Cobb (W) - 11:21 Match Time.

"ANNDD YOUR WINNER! HE IS THE 'NEW SUPLEX MACHINE!' JEFF! COBB!
- Justin Roberts

Cobb stood menacingly over the downed Chris Hero as Roberts confirmed him as the victor of the match. Taz entering the ring alongside him and tapping his protégé on the shoulder before directing him out of the ring as the duo make their way up the ramp. After a minute or two; Hero begins to move, first making it to his knees as the Baltimore crowd shower him with some love and cheers as Hero now stands up and bows towards them, thanking them for the support before bowing out and leaving ringside as the camera focus heads to the back.

1674171446553.png

"Ladies and Gentleman! My guest at this time.. 'The American Nightmare' Cody Rhodes! Cody, thank you for joining me tonight, I know you wanted to update the AEW fans.." - Jenn Decker

The camera pans out now a little and we see a sharp suited Cody Rhodes with a beaming white smile on his face but still carrying some of the cuts and plaster on his forehead from the Chair Match at Halloween Havoc against 'The Chairman' Shawn Spears.

"No, thank you, Jenn! Hello everyone, and welcome to Revolution, Baltimore!" - Cody Rhodes

Cody smiles knowing he was always going to get a cheap pop from the live fans in attendance before speaking on as Jenn raises the microphone closer to his mouth..

"So, Jenn. I know there's been speculation regarding my situation. Regarding Shawn Spears. Regarding a few things so I'm going to clear some of that up. Right now, I am speaking to you as Cody Rhodes, not the 'American Nightmare' - but an Executive Vice President of this beautiful company; All Elite Wrestling! Now, the story of me and Shawn Spears is well known and the offer I made to him two weeks on Dynamite.. It was real, Jenn. Shawn needs help, and I'm happy that he's accepted that help. Shawn will be taking some time away from the ring, he's going to be checking into rehab and he's going to do so with the full support of All Elite Wrestling behind him and return better then ever! His mind unclouded, his thoughts his own and back to the Shawn Spears that I once called a friend. You got this Shawn.. I believe in you" - Cody Rhodes

A small cheer and applause greets the words of Cody as Jenn Decker smiles and nods in agreement at the news of Shawn Spears checking into rehab, and getting the support of the company.

"Okay, so now that's done.. Let's talk about what's next for the 'American Nightmare' shall we? Well.. As of tonight, I'll be officially cleared to compete once again! And just like everyone else, I'm going to be watching the Main Event with real intrigue. 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho! Vs 'Hangman' Adam Page! Which way is it going to go? You know, Jenn. I don't actually know, and that's why it's so exciting. But make no mistake - Who ever leaves Baltimore and continues on their journey will one day come to a Cross-Rhodes and well.. I'll be waiting!" - Cody Rhodes.

Jenn once again smiles but before the interview finishes, she brings up the feud that's been getting really heated between Dustin Rhodes and 'MJF' - asking for his thoughts?

"Truth is Jenn, of course I've been watching and honestly, some of the remarks that 'MJF' and his 'Friedman Family' have said about my Brother, my Father, my FAMILY! It's disgusting! So many times I've had to stop myself coming down and getting involved but the truth is.. It can't be my battle. Dustin is his own man, and my Uncle Dallas too! They want to handle this situation and they will. I can promise that from what I've seen, and how hard Dustin & Diamond Dallas Page have been working in the gym - Maxwell is going to get a lesson in respect tonight and I'll be watching, and supporting the Nightmare Family all the way!" - Cody Rhodes

Cody then thanks Jenn for the interview before walking out the shot as the live footage returns back to ringside and Jenn Decker hands over to the commentary team.

1674171581866.png

Before Tony or Jim Ross can comment on the words from Cody Rhodes, the footage pans out a little to show Taz coming back out from behind the curtain and walking across the stage over to the commentary desk, picking up a headset and taking his place at the booth.

"Forget about Cody Rhodes, Gentleman! Did you see what the NEW SUPLEX MACHINE just did?! Let this be a lesson to anyone who thinks they're BAD! Who think's they're a TOUGH GUY! Everyone is BAD, Everyone is TOUGH until JEFF COBB ENTERS THE ROOM! The BADDEST son of a bitch on the planet today! This coming DYNAMITE! We run it back - Open challenge! BEAT HIM IF YOU CAN, SURVIVE IF HE LETS YOU!" - Taz

Taz then laughs as he tells Jim & Tony to get this show on the road.

"Well it appears we're going to be joined by the original Suplex Machine, Taz! Taz, welcome to the commentary desk friend - Revolution has started HOT and it's only going to get better, folks! - Jim Ross

"That's right, Jim! Up next we have some tag-team action! And this one has some extra spice it's fair to say as Penta & Fenix of the Lucha Brothers! Go up against Santana & Ortiz, of LAX! STREET FIGHT!" - Tony Schiavone

1674171873112.png

Street-fight, Grudge Match.
LAX W/ Diamante vs Lucha Brothers

Summary:

First down and it was the team of Santana & Ortiz, trailing behind was Diamante as LAX were in full order, representing their heritage and culture as all three were emblazed with the Mexican & Puerto Rican colours as they received a mixed reception from the Baltimore crowd. LAX came to fight, mean mugging and flexing their fists as they awaited their opponents to come down and fight. Secondly, it was the Lucha Brothers! Fenix & Penta coming down in energetic fashion as the commentary team reminded us of the side note that's been in play - one Selina de le Renta and wonders if she's somewhere watching?

The bell sounded and immediately the fight was on! Both teams stood and traded with the intention to do harm as the match pace was frantic from the start. The action quickly spilled out to ringside where Santana & Ortiz were beating down on Pentagon Jr with punches and kicks. Santana & Ortiz then dragging up Penta before swinging him into the steel steps on the outside! BOOM! Penta's body crashing against the steel. The pain for Penta would continue with LAX staying on top of him, dragging him up and then hitting a double Suplex onto the steel stage Ramp as Penta rode around in agony after his back thudded against the steel once again. LAX then stood back up - hyping up the crowd and showing their 'gang sign' to the live camera when out of nowhere came a flying Fenix! Fenix leaping from the turnbuckle, onto the tope rope and springing off with a moonsault that picture perfectly lands on both Santana & Ortiz as the Baltimore crowd wowed at the athleticism from Fenix!

"GOOD GAWD ALMIGHTY! HOW GOOD IS FENIX?" - Jim Ross

"Unbelievable! He's Unbelievable, Jim! Dare I say he's the closest thing I've seen to a young Rey Mysterio Jr?" - Tony Schiavone

"Fair comparison, Schiavone! But Fenix needs to stay on top of these cats, because trust me, LAX are killers and they don't give up!" - Taz

Replays showed the death defying ability from Fenix once more as the Mexican planned his next move. Fenix grabbed Ortiz and told the fans to clear a path before throwing him over the steel crowd barrier as Ortiz crashed into the front row of steel chairs at ringside. Fenx then checking on his Brother Penta before positioning the steel steps just in front of the crowd barrier and the crowd knew what was coming next... Fenix took some steps back before running at the steel steps and plunging him self into the air, clearing the barricade and landing directly onto Ortiz like a missile! SMASH! The bodies of Fenix & Ortiz crashing into the chairs at ringside as again the crowd popped for the daredevil ability of Fenix!

"No guts, no glory! That seems to be the way of Fenix! You can't take your eyes of this man!" - Tony Schiavone

Attention then turned to Pentagon Jr who was back up, albeit holding his shoulder from being driven into the steel steps. Penta pulls up the ring canvas and to the delight of the crowd appears with a trash can in hand. Penta raises the trash can before bringing it back down across the back of Santana! Penta then turns back to the ring and pulls out a wooden table as the crowd pop. Penta sets up the table on the outside before his attention turns to the crowd where his Brother, Fenix and Ortiz are still among the chairs and fans. Suddenly a lady grabs his attention as she steps over both men and comes to the front of the crowd barrier; It's Selina de la Renta!

Selina motions with her finger, calling over Penta who stares for a moment before he begins to slowly walk towards her as the crowd are watching on. Fenix though is back up and he spins Selina around and appears to tell her to leave before turning back to his Brother and telling him to think and concentrate. CRACK! Fenix is blistered from behind by Ortiz with a steel chair that knocks him back over the right side of the barrier at ringside. CRACK! Penta is also blindsided from behind - but this time it's Diamante with a Singapore Cane! A shot right across his upper back but Penta spins around, no selling the strike and stares right through Diamante causing her to panic and drop the Cane. Penta then grabs Diamante and stares at the table, perhaps suggesting that she's going through it as the Baltimore crowd gasp at potentially what they're about to see.

BOOM! Santana with the save as he blasts Pentagon Jr with a forearm from behind before picking up the Cane and lashing the Mexican Luchador repeatedly until it splits in two! WHACK! WHACK! WHACK! Is the whipping sound from the Cane on each connection before Santana & Ortiz team up. Santana hops on to the ring apron while Ortiz with a little help from Diamante picks up Pentagon Jr in a Power Bomb position over the already set up table. Santana then runs across the ring apron and leaps off with LAX hitting the..

"STREET SWEEPER! LAX WITH THE STREET SWEEPER TO PENTA THROUGH THE TABLE!" - Jim Ross

"I TOLD you they were KILLERS, Ross! These boys don't PLAY - They get the JOB.. DONE!" - Taz

With Penta down and out - LAX roll him into the ring before turning their attention to Fenix. Ortiz, Santana & Diamante now stomping down on the high-flying wrestler; keeping him grounded with a real gang beating before Santana & Ortiz pick him up and drop him down onto the steel crowd barrier as he drapes motionless over the steel while Salina de La Renta watches on. LAX then enter the ring once more and for the second time and possibly for good measure, they strike with a second STREET SWEEPER! Santana then hooking the legs and going for the pin-fall. One! Two! Three!

LAX (W) - 13:57 Match Time.

"ANNNDDD YOUR WINNERS! THEY'RE THE TEAM OF.. SANTANA! AND ORTIZ! L! A! X!"
- Justin Roberts

1674171922851.png

A mixed reaction is heard as LAX celebrate in the ring before exiting as the trio make their way up the ramp and head back behind the curtain. The camera focus then turns to Selina who still watches on; Her eyes on Pentagon Jr as Fenix scrambles back into the ring to aid his Brother before looking back at Selina and throwing up his arms as if to ask what does she want? Selina though just turns away and smiles - walking through the crowd where she came as the show moves on.

1674172357749.png

We're shown footage from earlier on before Revolution was LIVE; 'Hangman' Page, CM Punk and 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho all making their own entrances into different parts of the building arriving for Revolution as the commentary team remind us of the Main Event once again for tonight! Jim Ross asking if tonight is the night that 'Hangman' Adam Page truly arrives in All Elite Wrestling?

Tony agrees and reminds us that while Chris Jericho did become 'Le Champion' winning the vacant AEW World Championship against 'Hangman' and All Out back in August; that 'Hangman' was carrying a long term leg injury and that by his own admission; He is back and at 100%!

Taz then chimes in and says that his money is on a man that's done and proved it a million times! One of the GOATs in the business and that's Chris Jericho! Taz says that he's glad Cody Rhodes is going to be watching because he might need to check another 'friend' into rehab because it's going to be a long road for Adam Page when he realizes that even at 100%, he wasn't good enough to beat 'Le Champion' - Chris Jericho!

Jim Ross says he can't wait to watch what's going to be a fascinating match before reminding us of the wildcard in the situation; C! M! PUNK! Jim Ross says he has no doubt that Punk will keep his integrity and call the action right down the middle but in the heat of the battle - You can't always control your emotions and we've seen there's no love lost between Punk & Jericho, and there was slight tension with 'Hangman' too! Jim Ross then confirms that's to come, but saying that right now we're going to head over to the interview area where Chris Van Vliet is standing by with the 'Bastard' PAC!

1674172415131.png

"Joining me at this time.. He is the 'Bastard' Pa-" - Chris Van Vliet

Before Chris can finish his name; The 'Bastard' PAC rips away the microphone and stands furiously in the interview area with his black wet hair covering his snarling face.

"SHUT.. YOUR MOUTH.. CHRISTOPHER!" - PAC

PAC is clearly pissed off as Van Vliet steps back and throws up his arms like he doesn't want anything to do with this situation. PAC then throws his head back; clearing his face of his draping hair before staring down the camera with stone like eyes in angry fashion.

1674172565829.png

"UNDERFEATED. DOES THAT NOT MEAN ANYTHING AROUND HERE?! YOU CAN'T FIND A MATCH FOR THE ONLY TRUE ELITE PERFORMER IN ALL.. ELITE.. WRESTLING! SHAME ON YOU!" - PAC

PAC turns to Chris Van Vliet, almost like he's to blame before turning back to the camera.

"DON'T THINK FOR ONE SECOND I DON'T KNOW WHATS GOING ON ERE' - I HAVE BRUTALIZED EVERYONE THAT WAS PUT BEFORE ME.. INCLUDING.. S! C! U! AND AS EVERYONE KNOWS.. S! C! U! ARE BOYS WITH THE VICE PRESIDENTS! IT'S A TRAVERSTY THAT I AM STANDING BACK ERE' WITHOUT A MATCH - FORCED TO WATCH MEDIOCRITY THAT ARE NOT FIT TO LACE.. MY.. BOOTS! I.." - PAC

Before PAC can say anymore and continue on his tangent - Best Friends; Chuck Taylor & Trent enter the picture shot smiling as they take exception to what PAC is saying.

"Look, PAC - We wasn't on the card either, and yet we're not here whining and moaning about it. That's not going to get you anywhere in business" - Chuck Taylor

"Yeah - Chuck is right! And besides; If you really wanted a match - Why didn't you answer the open challenge and face Jeff Cobb? Unless... Unless you was scared?" - Trent

PAC scowls at both Chuck & Trent now stood beside him.

"GENTLEMAN! I'D WATCH YOUR TONGUES IF I WAS YOU.. I'VE ALREADY BRUTALIZED ONE SET OF BEST.. FRIENDS, DON'T MAKE IT TWO!" - PAC

PAC then turns and leaves the interview area as the Best Friends just smile and pretend to shake like they're scared in jovial fashion as Revolution moves on.

A video package plays next as we see the debut of the 'VIP Lounge' on Dynamite with 'MVP' hosting the event and welcoming Scorpio Sky! The next part of the video shows 'MVP' full of praise for Sky, but alluding to him being nothing more then a back up, in the background to Chris Daniels & Kazarian and how he needs to leave to flourish for the good of his career; 'MVP' offering his services!

The package then switches pace as we're shown the frustrations of Scorpio Sky during his time on AEW Dynamite, clips of him in the background with Daniels & Kazarian earning their Tag Team Championship Match against the Young Bucks which is later to come. The frustration growing as Scorpio Sky is shown injured after the loss to PAC at Halloween Havoc, without the aid of his friends seemingly caring.

The package then switches once more; Back to the 'VIP Lounge' as 'MVP' is holding his hand out in expectation of Scorpio shaking it and joining him..

"Look, Montel, I'm not going to waste your time. You've clearly gone to some effort with the Red carpet, the VIP ropes and you know, all that good stuff. And Montel before I say this, I want you to know that I am flattered that you see something in me, because I believe in me too! And I know I called you last week and you've probably now already assumed this was a thing - but I've been thinking about it and.. In the nicest way possible, It's a no. I'm not interested man, sorry" - Scorpio Sky

'MVP' furious at the rejection as the two men exchange words and the video package becomes more intense.

"I'll tell you what, Scorpio Sky! You seem ever so confident. You think you can beat me? Okay, cool. How about this proposition. If you WIN.. I'll leave you alone, you won't hear from me again and I'll go my separate way and let Scorpio Sky continue the support role of his friends. BUT! If I WIN.. When I WIN. You will shake my hand and join me, how about it Kid, we got a deal? Unless you're too scared, are ya?" - MVP

The video package draws a close with the confirmation that Scorpio accepted the terms, and that Tony Khan has made the match - If Scorpio loses, he must leave 'SCU' and become a client of 'MVP'.

"BIG, BIG implications for this next match folks! Scorpio Sky has backed himself, his career, and tonight his future is on the line! Can he beat the Wiley veteran, 'MVP' - Or will Sky be forced to stand alongside him as his brand new client? We're about to find out!" - Jim Ross

Singles Match (If Scorpio Sky loses, he must join MVP)
Scorpio Sky vs 'MVP'

Summary:

Perhaps by choice; Scorpio Sky was alone! No Christopher Daniels or Kazarian in sight with their AEW Tag Team Championship Match to come and 'MVP' latched on this - Asking Scorpio where his friends were as he cockily strutted around the ring in his custom Black Panther themed attire. 'MVP' then before the bell sounded to start the match would for the final time offer his hand out and suggest this could be done the easy way, by joining him and standing alongside each other? Scorpio though would quickly shut it down - asking the Referee to ring the bell and the match was on!

An old school lock up started the contest with 'MVP' leading Scorpio around the ring with headlocks and arm drags, almost like he was trying to show the younger Sky that he was a rookie in the ring with him. Maybe a dominance play early on from Montel as the match rolled on. Frustration grew as 'MVP' was seemingly able to get in the head of Scorpio on a couple of occasions with trash talk - 'MVP' also trying a couple of quick pin-fall attempts and on one occasion using the ropes for leverage as the Baltimore crowd were almost shocked with Sky kicking out at what seemed like the last second as 'MVP' then got up, and began to smile - indicating he was "this close" to beating Scorpio with a hand gesture as Sky watched on.

"Scorpio Sky needs to get his head in the game here, folks! 'MVP' has seemingly got in this young man's head as it dictating the match on his terms" - Jim Ross

"Class is in session, Ross! Mr Sky is being taken to school here by my boy, 'MVP!'" - Taz

The frustration continued with the match clock ticking down for a little longer until a mistake came from the experienced 'MVP' - Unable to resist the chance to show-off with Sky down after a snap Suplex to canvas - 'MVP' began to strut around the ring with his basketball 'BAAALLINNN!' strut when Sky hit a kip up before leaping up and nailing 'MVP' with a perfect drop kick rocking the veterans draw and knocking him down and rolling out of the ring. The crowd cheered and Sky fed of the energy; Following him by running at the ropes before launching through the second with a drop kick that sent 'MVP' crashing into the crowd barrier at ringside. Sky now in complete control as 'MVP' was feeling the effects of the match the longer it went - sucking in the air trying to catch his breath as the younger Sky put his foot down on the pedal and began to seemingly hit 'MVP' from every angle with his fitness and ring shape providing a massive advantage!

"Scorpio Sky is ROLLIN' ere! The ending is in-sight for Scorpio Sky, he just needs to put 'MVP' away!" - Jim Ross

The ending was indeed in-sight, and at this point - 'MVP' was spent. Fatigue was his worst enemy and Scorpio knew it - showing a ruthless side as he took advantage with the VHS! A Firemen's Carry into a Brainbuster before putting the exclamation point on the proceedings; Going to the top rope and..

"450 Splash! Scorpio Sky with a BEAUTIFUL 450 Splash! This one is over right here!" - Tony Schiavone

The crowd give a small pop for the ability shown as Sky scrambled across the ring holding his midsection before hooking the legs and covering for the victory! One! Two! Three!

Scorpio Sky (W) - 8:57 Match Time.

"YOUUURRR WINNNEER, AND THEREFORE STILL A MEMBER OF S! C! U! SCCOORRPPIIIOOOOO! SKKYYY!
- Justin Roberts

Referee official Paul Turner raises the hand of Scorpio Sky who looks more relieved then he does happy to win the match as he stares back at 'MVP' who is now stood on the ramp. 'MVP' is smiling - almost like he knew this was always going to be the outcome, and this was part of his play. Scorpio though soaks in the moment and cheers from the fans in attendance as the show rolls on.

1674173121324.png

The live footage cuts backstage where we see tonight's Main Event challenger taping up his wrists sat on a steel chair ahead of his match tonight against 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho for the AEW World Championship! The Baltimore crowd give a pop for the first live sighting tonight of one Adam 'Hangman' Page! That pop then goes up a notch again as the 'Hangman' stands up defensively as the 'Cult of Personality' and Referee for tonight's Main Event enters the shot.. CM Punk! Punk already wearing the official Referee shirt for tonight as 'Hangman' & Punk are left staring at each other for a few seconds as the Baltimore crowd continue there cheers before Adam Page breaks the silence..

"Don't you knock.. Punk?" - Adam Page

Punk smiles before leaning back out of the picture and tapping twice on the locker room door before turning back to 'Hangman' with a smirk on his face as the two men stare at each other for a few seconds. The tension clear for all to see. 'Hangman' doesn't trust CM Punk, and Punk clearly knows it; Perhaps happy to play on the doubt after Page refused the hand shake last week to end Dynamite.

"Knock-Knock, Cowboy. Look, 'Hangman' - I'm sure I don't need to tell you, I'm sure you're quite aware of these already but I've been asked to go over the proceedings and rules tonight for the Main Event and.." - CM Punk

Adam Page looks away rolling his eyes before putting up his hand to cut-off Punk from speaking anymore..

"Look, Punk. There doesn't need to be a problem here, alright? I don't need you to come in here in your Referee shirt and tell me the proceedings or rules.. All I NEED from you is to do your JOB! When I have Jericho down and out, and I cover him.. I need you to count the pin. One! Two! Three! That's all I need from you" - Adam Page

CM Punk nods his head after 'Hangman' finishes speaking before smiling and of course, Punk couldn't resist retorting and does so..

"That's fine with me, Page. Don't worry - I'll do my job! I always do! I made myself a name in this business by doing everything I set out to do and tonight is no different - I'll call it.. RIGHT. DOWN. THE MIDDLE. So maybe that is you pinning Jericho and becoming AEW World Champion like you said you will.. OR, maybe that's counting Jericho pinning 'Hangman' Adam page for the second time in his career for the AEW World Championship! Either way, I'll do what I need to do. Good luck out there, Adam! Don't let the occasion get to you, Cowboy" - CM Punk

Again, another awkward tense stare is shared between Punk & 'Hangman' Page before Punk turns away and leaves the locker room as Page sits back down and begins to tighten up his boots with a sheer determined look across his face as the live footage returns back to ringside.

"A tense exchange from the Referee official tonight - CM Punk! And the Challenger - Adam 'Hangman' Page! Gentleman, I think it's clear to all that witnessed what went down on Dyanmite, and just now that 'Hangman' Page and CM Punk are not exactly friends and that while Jericho might be the more worried - It's no advantage to 'Hangman' as Punk is calling this right down the middle!" - Jim Ross

"Just a side note to the real story here, JR. Adam 'Hangman' Page has already lost to 'Le Champion' once before at All Out! A crushing defeat. What's going to happen should the 'Hangman' lose again? How's he going to recover from this? I'm excited! It's going to be one hell of a match!" - Taz

The next match of the evening was almost upon us as the commentary team reminded us that this was one has been all about disrespect and jealousy, for the Rhodes name and the legendary Hall of Famer; 'American Dream' Dusty Rhodes!

A video package now airs on the screen as we see old NWA footage from Dusty Rhodes back in the day, entertaining and wrestling like only he could. We then see footage of Diamond Dallas Page, backstage moments with him and Dusty, and Diamond crediting him for bringing him into the business. Next it's about the Rhodes Family as we see various personal photo's and home footage of Dusty with his Wife, Dustin, Cody and Brandi Rhodes. The clip then turns to various members of the wrestling community talking about the impact that Dusty Rhodes has on their careers before the footage skips and we see a smiling and smirking MJF eclipse the now background footage and begin to show his clear lack of class and disrespect for the Rhodes Family..

Premier Episode of Dynamite - O2, Oct, 2019.

"WELL NOBODY GIVES A DAMN WHAT ANY OF YOU IDIOTS THINK! If you're asking me? And lets face it, my opinion matters more then ANY OF YOURS! I thought All OUT was a MASSIVE FAILURE! Yeah! That's right, you heard me CORRECTLY! And I'll tell you why. Put down your Snacks, stop guzzling down your drinks like the unsophisticated stains on the world you are and listen to someone who's got the intelligence and elegance to speak like I do! It was a FAILURE because this a company that is supposedly a company that is presenting and embracing change and who do I see? DUSTIN RHODES!" - MJF

Crowd give a large cheer for the name of Dustin as MJF rolls his eyes and speaks on.

"OH YEAH- GO AHEAD- CHEER FOR DUSTIN! Because I find it a DISGRACE that you have somebody like me at HOME watching the show, while here is this DINOSAUR! Dustin, on my TV screen taken up what should be MY TIME! I'd say it's obvious to any idiot with a brain cell that Dustin DOESN'T HAVE IT ANYMORE! But you know what?! I don't think he ever HAD IT IN THE FIRST PLACE! I mean.. I'm going to say it, the only reason he's here in All Elite Wrestling is because of his boo-boo little Brother, Cody!

But that really shouldn't come as a surprise to anyone because that's the kind of human that DUSTIN is.. ALWAYS looking for a hand out! Heck! He built a CAREER leeching off his DEAD DADS LEGACY! Oh and his DAD.. Get this.. HE DIDN'T EVEN LIKE DUSTIN! IN FACT, HE DESPISED HIM MORE THAN I DO!!"
- MJF

Dynamite - 09, Oct, 2019 - PAC makes Dustin tap-out.

"EMBARRASSING! You call that effort, Dustin? Being choked out live on TNT, live around the world? You're an embarrassment OLD MAN! You're nothing but an OLD scraggly, flee invested DOG, that needs to be taken out around the woodshed and SHOT.. to DEATH, for the GOOD of the wrestling business!" - MJF

Maxwell now begins walking up the stairs as he starts laughing at Dustin who's now holding himself up on the ropes and still breathing heavily. MJF enters the ring and shakes his head at Dustin as the crowd continue booing and begin chanting "Ass-hole! Ass-hole!" in the direction of Friedman.

"I mean look at ya' - You're a hot, greasy. sweaty mess! You know, Dustin.. I'd shoot you myself and put you out of your god damn misery but the truth is.. I quite like seeing you suffer! In case you didn't know already- I just don't like and it's that simple! WAIT! Are you crying Dustin?! Did the Englishman hurt you?! Aww, diddums! You guys, Dustin is upset! Aww, are you going to cry, Dustin?! Are you going to.." - MJF

As MJF was speaking he started edging closer and closer, motioning that Dustin was crying. MJF though of course would have to push and step to far and it resulted in Dustin repaying the slap from last week as he paint-brushed the hell out of MJF knocking him down and sitting him on his ass as the crowd popped.

The footage from the video then changes once again, and now we see a fired up Dustin after slapping MJF across the face and the words that followed after an interview with Chris Van Vliet..

Dynamite - 16, Oct, 2019.

"I'll tell you this though Chris, for the longest time I didn't like who I was.. I really didn't, so I can't blame someone else for not liking me. But here's the thing, I've accepted who I am. I've had my issues, I've done some crazy shit, Chris. I'm not proud of a lot of what I've done. BUT, I've been living the dream of this business for decades! I've won major honours, I've wrestled and had some of the biggest matches in history. I'm a DAMN RHODES for crying out loud and that means SOMETHING in this business!" - Dustin Rhodes.

Dustin speaking with real passion. Clearly the words from 'MJF' have been getting to him and he's venting during the interview as Van Vliet allows him to carry on talking.

"MJF? I couldn't even tell you who he was, Chris. Where's he from? What do those three letters even stand for.. and that's my point, to someone like MJF, I've had it all and he wants it.. but I've STILL.. GOT.. IT! And I'm not giving it away! I'm not done just yet and I've heard that this guy has some talent, he's perhaps a star of the future but I've warned him to not disrespect my family's name and if he does it again.. I'm coming for him! Because OVER MY DEAD BODY will anyone.. ANYONE, disrespect my Fathers name!" - Dustin Rhodes.

Dustin looks up and appears to mouth "I love you" before tapping Chris on the shoulder and thanking him before he attempted to leave the interview area.

When.. BAM! 'MJF' blasts Dustin from behind and knocks him down. Like a rabid dog Friedman pounces all over Dustin with kicks and punches before telling Chris to get the hell out of here! 'MJF' then takes off his scarf before wrapping it around the throat of Dustin and choking him out in the interview area. Dustin begins flailing his arms around wildly, his breathing fading, his face now a purple like color as Maxwell tightens the grip before finally releasing the scarf and tying it around his neck and shoulders once again.

"Oh no, no, no, NO DUSTIN! I'm coming for you! You're DONE! It's MY TIME!" - 'MJF'

Maxwell then fixes his shirt and cuffs before grabbing the microphone which was dropped on the floor by Chris before leaving.

"I missed All Out, left off the card! The hottest man in the business! There ain't no way you're doing that to me this time. Dustin, I'll see you at Halloween Havoc! Oh.. And the Khan Family? I want you to know that when I beat this ole' dog and I put him down.. I want his wages! And you know why? Because I am BETTER than him.. AND YOU ALL KNOW IT!!" - 'MJF'

Friedman then throws down the microphone before kicking Dustin once more square in the face and leaving the interview area to end the segment.

The package then jumps a little to Halloween Havoc - Dustin Rhodes vs 'MJF' where Dustin looks set to win before the 'Friedman Family' would arrive in the form of Aria Blake & Alex Hammerstone to cause the distraction, interfere and gift Maxwell Jacob Friedman the victory! This leading to present day, Diamond Dallas Page wanting to step in and teach 'MJF' some respect - Only to be beat down, Dustin making the save and the two coming back together to challenge 'MJF' & Alex Hammerstone to a match tonight at Revolution!

AMMEEERRIIICAAAAANNN... DREEEAAAAAAAAMMM!

** RECORD SKIPS **

BETTER THAN YOU!

With the crowd originally popping at the theme of the Dream, or at least the vocal from the start to avoid copyright from the WWE; They're now bubbling with anger and booing as the cocky and always arrogant Maxwell Jacob Friedman steps out from behind the curtain with a smirk across his face, pointing out towards the crowd like he 'got them' with Alex Hammerstone & Aria Blake in tow laughing and playing up to his antics as they walk across the ramp and towards the ring.

THE NATRUAL!

Next up and it was the turn of Dustin Rhodes & Diamond Dallas Page! Dustin stepping out from behind the curtain first and the crowd cheered as they noticed his attire, the red replaced with a yellow face paint and the pattern on the singlet attire of course, polka dot. "DDP" then followed behind in typical energetic fashion! Dropping the Diamond sign and representing his long time friend Dusty with a polka dot headband and classic NWA Dusty shirt. They're not alone though as behind them was Brandi Rhodes! Brandi also in yellow, a polka dot skirt and yellow vest top as the trio hugged at the top of the stage, pointed up to the heavens before walking the ramp and heading to the ring as the match was on!

Tag Team Match.
Dustin Rhodes & Diamond Dallas Page W/ Brandi Rhodes vs The Friedman Family (MJF & Alex Hammerstone) W/ Aria Blake

Summary:

The ring bell sounded and the match was on but it started with nothing but mouth and antics from 'MJF' who demanded that Dustin Rhodes start the match with him. Dustin all too happy to accept as he walked right up to 'MJF' and looked down at him. 'MJF' facial expression then changing, Dustin looked pissed and ready to explode when Maxwell would slap him out of nowhere, and like a true chicken shit heel ran towards his corner tagging in 'beef mountain' Alexander Hammerstone! 'MJF' then smirking on the ring apron and telling Dustin to back away as he tried to chase him, only to be greeted face to face with Hammerstone. Dustin looked Hammerstone up and down and without a second thought... BANG! A big right hand followed by another and the fight was on! Dustin knocking back Alex Hammerstone with each strike before dropping down and throwing up an uppercut that knocked Hammerstone down and sent him fleeing out of the ring as Aria Blake & 'MJF' gathered around him and began a quick huddle perhaps to discuss some final tactics and strategy as the match rolled on.

The match clock ticked around the seven minute mark, and the match was full of shenanigans - 'MJF' & Hammerstone slowing the match down and using any underhanded tactics every time the veterans got going with momentum to the despair of the crowd as the Referee tried to maintain control. At this point; 'MJF' was in the ring with Diamond Dallas Page. 'MJF' kicking a downed 'DDP' as he tried reaching out to Dustin to make the tag. 'MJF' mocking him, even going as far to mock Dusty with the shuffle before ripping away the NWA Dusty shirt off the back of Dallas Page, wiping his ass with it before throwing it into the crowd. The boo's raining down on Maxwell Jacob Friedman as he smirked and soaked it all in. 'MJF' then dragged up Dallas, trash talking to him before attempting to slap the WCW icon across the face when...

"DIAMOND CUTTER! DALLAS PAGE WITH THE DIAMOND CUTTER! THAT'S TAKING ME RIGHT BACK, JIM!" - Tony Schiavone

"MAXWELL GOT WHAT WAS COMING TO HIM, TONY! WASTING TIME, AND HE GOT CAUGHT WITH THE DIAMOND CUTTER! DDP NEEDS TO MAKE THE TAG!" - Jim Ross

Following the Diamond Cutter out of nowhere! 'DDP' began to drag himself across the canvas. The crowd stomping their feet and clapping, anticipating the arrival of the HOT TAG! Dustin Rhodes stomping on the steel steps and calling out for Dallas who inch by inch is edging closer.. When, it arrives! The tag is made and the Baltimore crowd explode into life! Dustin bursting through the second rope with the intention of finally getting his hands on 'MJF' who is now on his knees already pleading at an oncoming storming forward Dustin Rhodes. Dustin explodes with a slap! Slapping the taste right out of the mouth of 'MJF' before dropping down with ground and pound, letting Friedman have it with both barrels! Lefts & rights to the face as 'MJF' tries to cover up with the crowd cheering on 'The Natural' Dustin Rhodes!

"DUSTIN IS BEATING FRIEDMAN LIKE A GOVERMUNT MULE! THAT PENT UP ANGER AND AGGRESSION! THE DISRESPECT, AND HE'S GIVING IT ALL TO MAXWELL JACOB FRIEDMAN RIGHT HERE!" - Jim Ross

Dustin continues laying into Friedman and the crowd are loving it! Cheering as the name of 'Dusty! Dusty! Dusty!" rings out around the Royal Farms Arena! Dustin clocks Alex Hammerstone entering the ring and reacts quickly; cutting him off with a big right hand, and following up with another one clocking the big man against the ropes before taking a step back and sending the big man tumbling over with a clothesline to the outside! Dustin then turns back to 'MJF' who's using the ropes to get back to his feet and lines up a right hand when Aria Blake enters the ring, dodging the Referee and running in front of 'MJF' who grabs her; using her as a shield to keep distance from Dustin Rhodes.

"Now what the hell is she doing in the ring? Somebody get this damn jezebel out of here!" - Jim Ross

"She's standing up for her man, Ross.. What's wrong with that?" - Taz

"Oh come on, Taz! We're trying to have a match here- Gimme a break!" - Jim Ross

Dustin pleads with the official to get Aria Blake out of the ring but 'MJF' is holding on to her, using up every second he can to recover when Brandi Rhodes on the outside has seen enough! Brandi entering the ring and without any hesitation runs at Aria Blake taking her down with a spear as the two ladies roll to the outside fighting as the Referee turns to watch them, asking them to break it up before demanding that both are banished to the back for the match to continue! This was all the distraction needed though as 'MJF' punted Dustin in the lower-region as Rhodes cried out in agony! It was about to go from bad to worse for Rhodes though as Hammerstone re-entered the ring and smashed into Dustin with a huge lariat clothesline! 'MJF' then picking up Dustin and taking full advantage with the.. HEAT SEEKER! Dustin's head ploughed into the canvas from the rope assisted piledriver - hooking the legs and covering! One! Two! Three!

Friedman Family (W) - 12:09 Match Time.

"That DAMN good for nothing.. Rotten, BASTARD! He's just stole one!"
- Jim Ross

"It's called getting the JOB.. DONE! And the Friedman Family have got the job done again!" - Taz

Justin Roberts attempts to enter the ring to confirm the winners but before he can put one leg in-between the rope to step in; Hammerstone cuts him off - demanding he step down before he and 'MJF' then turn back to Dustin and begin beating him down! Kicking him repeatedly as Dustin tries to cover up. DDP then slides back into the ring, despite being clearly fatigued but before he can do anything; Hammerstone was once again there to cut him off - jumping on him with a double-axe handle smash across the back before picking him and slamming him back down to the canvas with the NIGHTMARE PENDULUM!!

Baltimore are heavily booing, telling the Friedman Family they suck but it makes no difference. Aria Blake now entering back into the ring and even she joins in - the Family now kicking Dustin who's unable to stand. Brandi Rhodes then enters and she's clearly emotional; diving onto Dustin in an attempt to cover him and stop the attack and it works for a moment before 'MJF' goes even too far for him! Grabbing Brandi up by the hair and dragging her up as she begins to scream. 'MJF' trash talking Brandi and berating the Rhodes name as Aria Blake then slaps Brandi Rhodes across the face.

"COME ON NOW! ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!" - Jim Ross

"THIS IS RIDUCULOUS, JIM! SOMEBODY! ANYBODY! STOP THIS!" - Tony Schiavone

KINGDOM!!

Baltimore pop as the theme of the 'American Nightmare' blares from the speakers, and enough is enough! Cody Rhodes running out onto the stage, tearing off his suit jacket and tie bursting towards the ring and entering with intent as the Friedman Family immediately split and exit the ring. Cody pacing around the ring; fired up, kicking the ropes and begging them to get back in and fight as 'MJF' just smiles and shakes his head - wagging his finger before the Friedman Family turn away and exit through the side of the rampway.

Back in the ring and Cody grabs his Wife; hugging her tightly before looking at her deep in her teary eyes and asking if she's okay before both then checking on Diamond Dallas Page & Dustin Rhodes. The scene ending with a furious Cody, red in the face, staring at the stage back at the onlooking Friedman Family as the commentary team suggest this is not over, and they've just angered the 'American Nightmare' of the Rhodes Family!

1674174840743.png

A vignette plays and we see a battle commencing. Soldiers with swords and shields, cutting down their enemies and battling to the death. Among the battle is a blizzard, a winter storm swirling around the battling soldiers. Blood being spilled across the icy surface and snow below.

The war scene comes down to one man, standing alone, his army fallen, death and blood around him among the ice and snow. Five men standing opposite and opposing him. The blizzard coming in deep and strong as the opposing men shout to give up now, and they will spare him.. they've only come for the ring!

The one man opposing who was slightly hunched over, clearly fatigued and injured - stands back up. Drops the bear fur cape he was wearing and draws his sword once more with his left hand before displaying his right hand in the air - the footage zooming in on his hand as we can now see a gold glistening ring with a frost like diamond in the middle. The blizzard now seemingly circling the air and area where the ring has been raised.

Suddenly the Five opposing soldiers attack! Swords swinging as the one man blocks and fights back! He cuts down two, spilling their blood to the floor before blocking one more and cutting another down! One of the remaining opposing men then the grab the lone fighter as the other slashes his sword and cuts the ring bearers hand clean off as the blood spurts, and the hand slides across the ice as the ring falls from the now dead and cold fingers onto the ice! The lone solder manages to fight back though; killing the two remaining men before doing his best to walk to the ring. The loss of his hand bleeding out as he falls to his knees. He attempts to crawl and with his one remaining arm tries to grip the ring again but the lone solider dies..

The blizzard now gets stronger, covering the dead soldiers and blood splattered across the battlefield as well as the ring which we see one last shot of the frost diamond glistening before being taken by the blizzard. The video then changes and we now see a Texas news centre in modern day warning of a blizzard approaching Corpus Christi, Texas!

The video then moves forward and we see Corpus Christi being engulfed in ice! The blizzard coming in as it completely takes over the American Bank Centre turning it almost into a snow fortress as the ice covers around it. In the eye of the blizzard is a large sparkle! We then see inside the American Bank Centre where an AEW ring is set up. The ring draping with icicles and frost. In the centre of the ring is a throne and on the arm of the throne we see the same sparkle that was in the eye of the blizzard; the large frost Diamond ring glistening in all it's glory. We then hear a narrator, his voice rasp and elderly.

"It is said thou' who carries the ring, will be blessed with wealth and opportunity! But the ring is wanted by many, and can only be worn by one.. WINTER IS COMING!" - Narrator

WINTER IS COMING!.jpg

Attention then turns back to ringside where Justin Roberts is ready in the ring to announce the next match up! It's the 'Mexican Sensation' Daga! Vs the mixed martial arts undefeated athlete in 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager!

I GOT EM' HURT!!

First down and it's the menacing - 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager! Hagers attire MMA themed with sponsors and MMA gloves to match. Hager grimacing as he flashes the mouthguard and lets out an explosive roar as the pyro blazes around the stage. Behind him is the cocky and arrogant Sammy Guevara! Sammy wearing a 'Big Hurt' MMA tracksuit and carrying a towel and a water bottle like a member of Hagers coaching team as the duo confidently walk across the stage and to the ring.

"3 STRAIGHT WINS IN MMA! Two via Submission! Arm-Triangle Choke! NO LOSSES in All Elite Wrestling! UNDEFEATED in all competition! 'BIG HURT' IS NO JOKE! I hope Daga, and Konnan no what they've got themselves into tonight!" - Taz

WHERE I NEED TO GO!!

Next up and it's the turn of Daga! However after a few seconds of his theme playing - The Mexican is nowhere to be seen, and the camera catches up backstage. We see Daga and Konnan speaking.

"Yo! Yo, kid! Daga, mi amigo! Look hermano, you know I got you.. And we be ridin' this together against these bitches! Jericho, Hager & Sammy! But when Hager put his hands on me.. He disrespected me! And he got a receipt comin' his way, homie! That receipt is on his way! So, I need to wait.. and you need to go out there and make our people proud, you hear me ese? Get that dub hermano!" - Konnan

Daga nods his head before shaking the hand of his mentor Konnan and embracing in a bro-hug. Daga then walks from 'gorilla' and to the stage area, heading to the ring. The camera stays with Konnan for a few more seconds, the veteran smirking like he's got an ace up his sleeve before the shot returns to ringside where the match is about to begin!

"Interesting! I guess this young man, Daga! Is going it alone! Good luck to the kid. He's been nothing but impressive since arriving from AAA on this Global Talent Exchange!" - Jim Ross

Singles Match - 'Big Hurt' Jaker Hager W/ Sammy G vs Daga

Summary:

The ring bell sounded and Hager stood menacingly in his corner, flexing and posturing, perhaps attempting to make himself look even bigger and get in the head of the much smaller Mexican, Daga. Daga though was completely unfazed - Charging at Hager and leaping with a foremarm! BOOM! Daga nailed the big man with a flying forearm before then unleashing rights and lefts, followed by strikes to the body as 'Big Hurt' covered up in the corner as Sammy attempted to fire him up!

"Look at the heart on this kid, Daga! He's taking it right to 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager!" - Tony Schiavone

Daga was fired up! Continuing the attack! Hager able to break the strikes and push Daga back - Only for Daga to leap forward again with another strike! The Baltimore crowd with the underdog Daga! His name being cheered and he's feeding off the energy with every strike. 'Big Hurt' once again breaks up the attack - Pushing Daga back once more but this time when Daga tries to drive forward - Hager drops to one knee, explodes off the canvas and wraps his arms around Daga before sending him flying across the ring with an explosive German suplex! The energy in the crowd sucked away from them with one explosive Suplex! Hager now bouncing up and down on the balls of his feet - Shouting at Daga to get up! The Mexican stumbles back up, looking slightly dazed and holding the back of his neck but before he can react.. SMASH! 'Big Hurt' running through Daga like a truck with a gruesome looking clothesline knocking the Mexican back down to the canvas!

"Daga pissed him off, gentleman! Now he's about to pay the price! 'Big Hurt' about to destroy this kid and send him packing to AAA - back to Mexico!" - Taz

"BIG-TIME GERMAN SUPLEX FROM HAGER! FOLLOWED BY THAT NASTY CLOTHESLINE; BAH-GAWD!" - Jim Ross

Daga had his bell rung and for the rest of the match, it was like a game of cat and mouse. Hager often seemed to be toying with Daga - Throwing him around the ring with will and explosive ability. Sammy on the outside mocking Daga, jumping up on the apron to fan down 'Big Hurt' with a towel and offering him some water as Daga kept getting back up for more! The Mexican admirably showing no quit and continued trying to fight - battling like the under-dog he is and the crowd continued trying to support him but the end looked near with Hager seemingly in complete control.

With the match clock around the 7th minute; Hager was posturing around Daga. The Mexican trying to stay on his feet but Hager would strike in and out. Shots to the kidney's and kicks to the legs - a real 'MMA' breakdown of his opponent as Daga was now really struggling. Daga showed one final flash of brilliance - Hager holding Daga and mocking him for a bit too long as he tried to set up the Uranage! Daga able to reverse and bring down Hager to the canvas with a hurricarana! Daga & Hager both then rushing to the feet with Daga looking to sunset flip over the big man and go for the cover; Hager though grips the throat of Daga, brings him up, and then smashes him back down to the canvas with a powerbomb! Hager then finishing the match with a brutal Uranage set up before latching in the Arm Triangle Choke! Daga began to struggle and squirm but everyone knew what was coming next! Daga forced to tap out as Hager cranks up the pressure and the Mexican yells out in agony as Hager remains undefeated in MMA and in All Elite Wrestling!

'Big Hurt' Jake Hager (W) - 08:37 Match Time

"ANNDDD YOUR WINNER VIA SUBMISSION! 'BIIIGGGG HUUURRTTTT' JAKE! HAGER!"
- Justin Roberts
Roberts announces Hager victorious but is then quickly ushered out of the ring by Sammy Guevara who's now entered and begins to attack Daga! Using the coaching towel to wrap around the Mexican's throat and begin to choke him further as 'Big Hurt' Jake Hager watches on. Referee Official Mike Posey attempts to break it up but Hager menacingly threatenss to hurt him. The crowd forced to watch on as Sammy now lays boots into Daga!

"Enough is enough! Now, come on! Is this really needed? You won the match, Hager! We get it!" - Jim Ross

"Sending a message, Ross! Not just to Daga, not just to Konnan, but to everyone in All Elite Wrestling that 'Big Hurt' - Sammy & Jericho are not to be messed with and this punk kid bit of more then he could chew by challenging the big man tonight!" - Taz

Attention then turns to the stage where Konnan has come out carrying a microphone. Hager & Sammy glancing up at the veteran as they now grab a lifeless Daga and begin to showcase him to his manager, mocking that he can't do anything about it with Konnan at no age or shape to be getting into a fight. Konnan though while clearly looks pissed off at first, grabs the microphone and begins to speak.

"Yo! Yo! Listen up you BIG BITCH! You and your perro, you gon' pay for this! I told you, you made a mistake laying your hands on me, Jake! Ese, I don't play in these streets! You forgot.. I been in this game a long, long time! And sometimes you gotta' wait for the moment, homie! Your receipt is comin' Hager! You gringo's running around here like you bad? like you a gang? Well we Mexican! Viva La Raza! We turn to blood.. We turn to familia when we in trouble and the nephew just arrived to handle business!" - Konnan

Konnan then drops the microphone and turns towards the entrance of the stage. Intrigue building as Hager & Sammy are looking around, shrugging, maybe expecting a bluff from Konnan. However this was no bluff and as Jim Ross would remark..

"BUSINESS HAS JUST PICKED UP!" - Jim Ross

1674175423678.png

Baltimore pops as CAIN VELASQUEZ stomps out from the entrance and onto the stage. Cain ripping off his top before hugging Konnan as the duo begin walking down the ramp; headed to the ring! Hager looks in shock, shaking his head in complete surprise. Sammy looks panicked - asking Hager "What now?" with Hager just staring back. Cain reaches the ring and it's on! Hager stands behind Sammy and gives him a little nudge to attack first. Sammy stares back, wide eyed, asking - "are you crazy?" - but Hager is unrelenting and tells him to do it! Sammy charges at Cain but it's a complete suicide mission and the former UFC Heavyweight Champion smashes Sammy with a right hook! Sammy selling the strike like he's been knocked out cold as he falls backwards and the crowd all gasp in shock before cheering.

Hager now staring with his mouth open, looking down at Guevara who is motionless. "Get up! Sammy, get up!" shouts Jake but it's a waste of time - He is out for the count. Cain then motions for Hager to come get some as the crowd are anticipating these two MMA warriors exploding into a FIGHT! However, Hager backs away, exiting the ring and dragging Sammy with him as Cain just stares a hole through him. Konnan now in the ring checking on Daga as we see Hager & Velasquez staring back at each other one more time before the show moves on.

1674176451800.png

After a quick commercial of some upcoming dates for the next month of AEW; Dynamite! We're backstage with 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho! The AEW World Champion watching what we've just witnessed with Sammy being knocked down, and Hager backing away from a debuting Cain Velasquez!

"CAIN VELASQUEZ?! WHAT THE HELL IS HE DOING HERE; THIS ISN'T THE UFC!" - Chris Jericho

We then see on the TV screen, replays of the right hook from Cain that knocked Sammy out cold. After the second replay, Jericho grimaces and covers his face. Laughter can then be heard as a voice says..

"OUCH! That's going to leave a mark" - ???

Jericho then spins around and see's the face of a smirking CM Punk with his arms folded and wearing the official Referee's shirt for tonight's Main Event. Jericho's face now one of a disgust as he stares at the Referee top, perhaps the final realization that the match could well be in the hands of his enemy - CM Punk.

"What do you want, Punk? Huh? Can't you see this is a bad time for me. My friend, the beautiful Spanish sex god; Sammy Guevara was just attacked by someone who doesn't even belong here! Why are you here? I've got a match to prepare for in case you didn't know, Phillip!" - Chris Jericho

CM Punk smirks once again before jokingly grimacing as a another replay of the punch is shown on the TV monitor behind Jericho. Punk then starts laughing before Jericho furiously spins around, grabs the controller and switches of the TV before spinning back around to Punk and getting in his face.

"What's this really about Punk, Huh? You coming in here, the Referee gig, hanging around Dynamite, getting involved in my business. You jealous, Punk? What's the matter? Jealous that I'm still the BEST IN THE WORLD AT EVERYTHING I DO! That I'm still at the top, while you've become everything you've always hated. A has-been never was hanging around the boys, trying to stay relevant, picking up an easy pay cheque.. Is that what you've become, huh? You don't even have a contract here, Punk. Why don't you just turn back around - get out of my locker room! Get out of 'Le Champions' company and go back home to little AJ and reading your comic books before I have enough of the games, and I really hurt you.." - Chris Jericho

Punk's expression changes after the scathing words from a now smirking Chris Jericho. Punk's posture now completely changed too, his arms unfolded, his fist's clenched - clearly some of that stung a little. Punk though rises above Jericho's words, doesn't react with actions and instead retorts.

"You know Chris, maybe you're right.. Maybe you're wrong. Truth is - tonight isn't about me! It's about that AEW World Championship! It's about you, and 'Hangman' Page! I'm just here to tell you, I'll be calling this match right down the middle. No bullshit. I don't like you, and you don't like me but this company isn't about screwy finishes and I'm not letting these fans go home without a clear and deserving winner tonight. So, you do your job, and I'll do mine! Oh.. and should you provoke me. Should you touch me.. Well, I won't think twice about putting your ass to sleep.. Ya' dig, Chris?" - CM Punk

Jericho facial expression changes on the final words of Punk. Punk then turns to walk away, but just when Jericho was about to say something else - Punk spins back around and speaks again..

"Ohhh.. Excuse me, Chris. I almost forgot. Your buddies? Hager & Sammy? Yeah.. Tell them to take the rest of the night off because they're banned from ringside! Good luck, Jericho!" - CM Punk

A smiling CM Punk then leaves the room as Jericho is frantically shaking his head in disagreement.

"No! You can't do that Punk! You can't do that!" - Chris Jericho

The scene coming to a close with Jericho telling the camera crew to get out before slamming the door behind him as the footage returns to ringside.

"No love lost between Jericho & Punk, fellas! A lot of history and a deep rivalry between these men for sure but one thing is correct; tonight is all about the AEW World Championship!" - Jim Ross

"Correct, Jim! That match to come folks! Up next though, it's time for the ladies! The Decay led by Rosemary have had a strangle hold on this Women's Division since the incarnation of AEW! But tonight, Allie, Hikaru Shida & Kylie Rae look to fight back and avenge their friend - Dr Britt Baker!" - Tony Schiavone

Footage is then shown on the big screen. A vignette with a dark and airy tone, showcasing the strangle hold the Twisted Sisterz; Holidead & Thunder Rosa, along with the AEW Women's Championship have had on the company since debuting at All Out in August - Holidead & Rosa helping Rosemary to win the Championship in the AEW Women's Casino Battle Royal. The vignette then shows the Decay, tormenting and almost driving Britt Baker insane - Kylie Rae trying to help in parts but falling victim too.

The vignette then skips and we see Rosemary vs Baker at Halloween Havoc! Bakers head hitting against the turnbuckle, causing a concussion but Rosemary continuing the attack! The Referee forced to stop the match. Shida taking a stand against the Decay and causing them to flee. We then see the news that Baker is out with concussion before the vignette changes and a more positive tone appears. Shida, Kylie Rae & Allie agreeing to team for the better good of the Division and to take a stand against the Decay! The vignette then ends.

Six-Women Tag Team Match.
Decay (Rosemary & Twisted Sisterz) vs Kylie Rae, Hikaru Shida & Allie.

Summary:

The Baltimore crowd were mixed at the start of this match, some behind the baby faces in Rae, Shida & Allie while some in awe and intrigue at the Decay; Holidead, Rosa & AEW Women's Champion; Rosemary! The match started with Shida stepping forward and calling out the Champion Rosemary to start the match too. Rosemary wagging her finger and smiling before Thunder Rosa entered the ring. The ring bell then sounded and instantly the two ladies clashed. Rosa & Shida exchanging strong forearms and strikes in the middle of the ring as the crowd were along for the ride. Rosa blocking a strike from Shida, firing back with a knee to the stomach before looking to land with a super kick! Shida catching the kick - chopping away the leg of Rosa before returning a knee of her own to the stomach of Rosa and landing a axe kick to the back of Rosa's head and going for the first cover of the match! One! Two!

"Kick-Out from Thunder Rosa on two! This match has started with real venom and fire!" - Tony Schiavone

Shida stays on top of Rosa, beating her with forearms to the head before dragging her up and whipping her into the face corner of the ring. Shida then pointing towards Rosemary, clearly trying to send a message before running at Rosa with intent and leaping with a high knee to the face of the Latina! Shida then tagging in Allie who scales to the second rope and leaps off with a leg drop to the throat of Rosa and scrambles for the cover! One! Two! Kick-Out! Rosa again kicking out but the momentum currently with the faces who rile up the Baltimore crowd who respond with cheers.

The match clock ticks on and the momentum is still with the faces until Allie makes a mistake. Allie taking too much time to hook Rosa up in a powerbomb attempt, only for Rosa to sweep the legs of Allie and come back down with a double foot stomp! Rosa's feet driving into into the chest of Allie. Rosa then drags Allie into the corner of the Heels and all three ladies have their way with Allie. Rosa, Holidead & Rosemary taking it in turns to enter the ring and stomp Allie. Beating and kicking her down, stomping at various body parts of Allie as each lady lets out a howling scream as they scream "DEEECCAAAAAYYYY" and continue the assault.

"Allie in BIG trouble here, Gentleman! The Decay have stomped all the momentum away and are now in complete control here!" - Jim Ross

Rosemary is now the legal woman in the match and she begins to stalk around Allie. Allie hurting after the attack as she tries to drag herself across the ring - Shida & Kylie trying to drum up the crowd once more, stamping on the steps and trying to make some noise, a small attempt to keep Allie in spirits to reach them for the tag. Rosemary is like a hyena though, as she's staring at an injured deer who's a long way from home. Rosemary grabs Allie by the hair, pulling up her face by grabbing her chin before laughing as she then slams Allie's face into the canvas with a real thud. Rosemary then turning to Shida & Kylie Rae with a smile before turning back and laying into Allie with more repeated kicks! Rosemary then dragging up Allie and bringing her back down to the canvas with an Exploder Suplex! Rosemary then does something completely unexpected - clutching up Allie and dragging her into the corner of the faces. Rosemary then begins to tell Kylie Rae to get in the ring and then begins to mock her - asking where the Doctor is as she begins to laugh. Tilting and holding her head, mocking Britt Bakers concussion as Kyle Rae who is normally all smiles - Isn't smiling. Kylie holds out her hand and Allie after a few seconds musters the strength to make the tag and Kylie Rae is in!

Kylie is all business with a serious look on her face and her fist's clenched as she mutters "This is for Britt" as she stares and goes face to face with the 'Demon Assassin' Rosemary. Rosemary remains unhinged - her hands behind her back as she offers Kylie the first strike as she smiles and laughs. Kylie looks around at the Baltimore crowd and they begin to cheer - urging Kylie on and it works! SMACK! Kylie Rae fires with a right hand and doesn't let up, knocking back the AEW Women's Championship with a strike and follows up with a few more before running the ropes and knocking down the Champion with a drop kick before scrambling to her feet and demanding that Rosemary stand back up and fight! Rosemary though has now rolled out of the ring and the Decay has regrouped on the outside. Rosemary holding her jaw as she now stares back at Kylie with wide-eyes and with a real hint of disdain across her face.

"Rosemary looks PISSED! Kylie Rae fired up and took her shot - but she might come to regret that fellas because the Decay have regrouped and look ready to attack!" - Taz

Taz is correct - The Decay have regrouped and they enter the ring as one, charging at Kylie Rae with a 3 on 1 attack before Hikaru Shida enters and begins to help Kylie. The brawl then continues as Allie has also entered the ring and suddenly the teams are level as Referee Official Aubrey Edwards tries to maintain some order but the match is out of control, and the crowd are here for the ride!

With the match clock ticking around the 10 minute mark - we re-join the action with all six ladies now starting to feel the effects of the match as the action has bounced back and forth. As it stands, Kylie Rae and Shida are down. Both ladies thrown into the crowd barriers on the outside by Holidead & Thunder Rosa. Hikaru Shida is left alone, on her knees in the ring as she looks up at Rosemary now standing on the ring apron. Rosemary is joined by Holidead & Rosa, the Decay unified as they stand on the ring apron as stare back at Shida who struggles to her feet but motions for the Decay to come and fight. Rosemary then points at Shida and begins to whisper to Holidead & Rosa, perhaps some final instructions.

"You have to think Rosemary is thinking about Shida coming down at Halloween Havoc and stopping the further attack on Britt Baker right here - Revenge appears on the cards, and this could be bad-bad news for Hikaru Shida!" - Jim Ross

Rosemary then barks the orders! Shouting "YOU WILL DEEECCAAAAAYYY" at Shida before the Twisted Sisterz enter the ring but Shida holds her own. Firing first with some impressive kicks and a back spinning elbow knocking down Rosa. Shida then begins to fire away with forearms - each one knocking Holidead back a little more as the crowd are chanting - "SHIDA! SHIDA! SHIDA!" in support. Rosemary though is lying in wait, stalking and she waits almost as if she's in the shadows and spins an unexpected Shida around before letting out a manic crazed like scream and spraying a RED MIST!

Shida though moves, and the Red Mist hits Holidead who yells out in agony, the mist blinding the one Twisted Sister as Rosemary shakes her head knowing she's messed up. Rosemary then turns around and Kylie Rae nails Rosemary with a SUPER KICK! Kylie Rae then rolling out of the ring on top of Rosemary as she lays into the leader of the Decay with strikes and punches. Back in the ring and Shida spots Holidead trying to rub the mist from her eyes as she falls to her knees. Shida then runs the ropes before sprinting towards Holidead and exploding with the.. Ōhōri no Tamashii! The running single leg high knee knocking out Holidead and sending her rolling out of the ring. We're now down to the two legal ladies - Shida & Thunder Rosa! Shida then turns her attention to Rosa. Shida picking her up and looking for a Falcon's Arrow but Rosa reacts - gauging at the eyes of Shida who's forced to release her before Rosa boots Shida into the stomach and picks her up with a FIRE THUNDER DRIVER!!! Shida's head being drove into the canvas as Thunder Rosa hooks the legs and goes for the cover! One! Two! Three!

The Decay (W) - 13:08 Match Time.

"ANNDD YOUR WINNERS! HOLIDEAD! THUNDER ROSA! AND ROSEMARY! THE DEEECCAAAYYY!"
- Justin Roberts

The Decay come out victorious but there's no doubting they were made to fight for the victory. Shida, Kylie Rae & Allie regroup in the ring disappointed and defeated while The Decay make their way back up the ramp. Holidead still trying to rub away the mist from her eyes while Rosemary grabs Thunder Rosa by the chin. Rosemary seemingly overjoyed that Rosa stood up and got the victory for the team, especially after her mistake and begins to hug Rosa. The attention firmly on Thunder Rosa who impressed through out the match and will now be the talking point with the commentary team suggesting that the Twisted Sisterz, and more so Thunder Rosa have shown they're more then lackeys to Rosemary and there strangle hold on the AEW Women's Division continues despite the best efforts of Allie, Shida & Kylie Rae.

Jim Ross asks "Who can stop the Decay?" as we get a final shot of Rosemary holding up the AEW Women's Championship with Holidead & Thunder Rosa kneeled before her, straddling a leg each as they look back at Kylie, Shida & Allie in the ring with smiles across their faces after the victory.

1674177776881.png

The camera cuts back from a commercial advertising the AEW Unrivalled wrestling figures and back to ringside where Tony Schiavone is now stood in the middle of the ring with a microphone.

"Baltimore, I hope you're enjoying Revolution and thank you again for being here for another historic event brought to you by All Elite Wrestling!" - Tony Schiavone

The Baltimore crowd at the Royal Farms Arena give a quick pop for the acknowledgement from Tony.

"Earlier this evening I announced on the pre-show that we had some BREAKING NEWS for Revolution! For the first time since Halloween Havoc, we will hear from Kenny Omega.. TONIGHT! And he's invited Jon Moxley to join him via satellite with a proposition for him! Baltimore! AEW fans! It's my pleasure to announce that we can now go live via satellite with both Kenny Omega & Jon Moxley! Gentleman! Welcome to Revolution!" - Tony Schiavone

Kenny Omega & Jon Moxley then appear on the big screen to cheers and chants from the crowd. Both Mox & Kenny sporting cuts and bruises from their brutal 'Lights Out' match at Halloween Havoc. Kenny & Moxley both appear to be streaming life from their homes as Tony says the floor is there's and hands over to the 'Cleaner' Kenny Omega before leaving the ring and heading back to the commentary desk.

"Thanks, Tony! Hello, Baltimore! And hello to you, Jon! Thanks for joining me.." - Kenny Omega

Before Kenny can say anymore, Jon rolls his eyes and scrunches up his face before jumping in and taking over the direction of the conversation.

"Do you think we could skip the pleasantries Kenny? What's this about? Have you come to congratulate me on me beating you at Halloween Havoc like I said I would? Have you come to acknowledge that at Halloween Havoc you walked into my beautiful violence and looked across at me and knew when you looked in my eyes, you seen a uncaged animal no longer held back by the system, free to come and do as I please with nobody to stop me. This is just the start Kenny boy, and sadly, you were just the first.. It wasn't personal" - Jon Moxley

Kenny smiles as Mox finishes speaking. Omega then shakes his head and laughs before retorting.

"It's funny you say that, Jonny. Here's the thing, you say it's not personal.. and maybe it isn't to you, but the truth is.. it is to me. You see Jon, from the moment you showed up and attacked me.. this is all I've thought about. It's consumed me quite honestly. You've made me doubt myself, you've made me question who I am.. You even made me think that I was still Kenny Omega of Japan, the Cleaner! Untouchable! And the truth is.. I was kidding myself thinking that I could step in to your wheel house and beat you at your own game.

I'm not a violent man like you Moxley! I'm not a sick and twisted individual who gets a kick out of making people bleed and suffer inside that ring. No - what I am Moxley is the BEST DAMN WRESTLER IN THE WORLD! In between those ropes, rules applied, one on one, I am the BEST! So here's the thing, Jon. You beat me at your game.. now I challenge you to beat me at mine! We do this one more time - what do you say?"
- Kenny Omega

Mox smiles before scratching his chin and thinking on the words of Omega.

"You sound desperate, Kenny. You sound like a man who's clutching at still being THAT guy. You sound like a man who saw me come in and started to worry that I was about to change the game! I'm the paradigm shift of this game we call wrestling, Omega. You can call your friend Uncle Dave up and tell him to stick his stars up his ass because I'm here to hurt people! I'm here to make people suffer! You think I care about having the best match? I don't care! So I ask you.. Why do I want to beat you at your game, when I've already made you bleed and scream, Kenny? I've already beaten you!" - Jon Moxley

Kenny nods his head and reaches down the side of his char and grabs a bag - almost like he was already expecting that answer from Jon Moxley.

"You know Moxley, I had a feeling you was going to say that. You BEAT me. You're right. But you want me to suffer and cause pain? Then you can't do that with a chair or kendo stick, Jon - not really! I LOVE this business Jon and I LOVE.. WRESTLING. Wrestling is what I DO! And I DO IT BETTER THEN ANYONE ELSE! So you want to make me really suffer, Jon? Then on December 22nd - Mexico City, Mexico! AAA and AEW will be holding a special event where some of the best talents in AAA will face some of the best of All Elite Wrestling!" - Kenny Omega

The crowd pop at the shock announcement from Kenny Omega that AAA & AEW will be hosting a joint event in Mexico City, Mexico! Kenny then holds up the bag and reaches in pulling out a Championship belt.

"I'll be there, Moxley. AAA Mega Champion! And AAA have said that I can pick my opponent. So how about it, Mox? One more dance! Me and you! You want to make me suffer, right? Come and take my Championship, beat me at my own game in Mexico with the world watching! What do you say, Mox?" - Kenny Omega

The crowd are cheering with some "YES! YES! YES!" chants breaking out as Jon Moxley appears deep in thought in regards to Omega's challenge. Moxley then nods and retorts.

"Temptation! Temptation! You've got me intrigued, Kenny! I can smell the desperation. You NEED this win. You think this is going to be some kind of redemption arc don't you, Kenny? I'll admit Ken, you earned a little bit of my respect at Halloween Havoc! You walked into hell and you stood toe to toe with a bloodthirsty unhinged lunatic that drove your head through the stage set and now you're back here asking for more? Maybe you're the lunatic and not me.. Kenny.

But you're right.. The chance to beat you at your own game, take away your Championship and watch you spiral. That excites me! That makes my body tingle. The hairs on the back of my neck are standing up as I think about standing over you, holding that Championship in the air as you're left a broken man, your spirit crushed. You want to take that gamble, Kenny? I've got nothing to lose and everything to gain. Plus, the truth is.. I quite like punching your face, Kenny. You're on! I'll see you in Mexico!"
- Jon Moxley

The crowd pop as Jon Moxley accepts the match and the live camera swings over to a jubilant commentary team who are excited by the announcement and the match up of Omega vs Moxley II.

"HUGE NEWS, Gentleman! It's looks like we're heading to Mexico!" - Jim Ross

"Huge news indeed, Jim! And folks, I'm just hearing in my ear that this match has now been signed off by Tony Khan and he will be in talks with AAA to fill the rest of the card in the coming weeks. Omega vs Moxley II - Gentleman, I can't wait for this one and it's going to be for the AAA Mega Championship!" - Tony Schiavone

1674177990430.png

The graphic appears on the titan Tron for the first time as the Baltimore crowd cheer at the thought of watching Omega & Moxley clash once more, this time in Mexico for the AAA Mega Championship as the show moves on with Justin Roberts ready to announce the next match of the evening!

1674179001907.png

"This next match is set for one fall, and will be contested for the A! E! W! WOORLLDD TAG TEAM CHAAMMPIONSHIPS!" - Justin Roberts

A small video package then plays on the big screen. We see footage borrowed from the likes of IMPACT wrestling and Ring Of Honor showcasing both the Young Bucks, Chris Daniels & Franke Kazarian in their younger days rising up through the ranks and making their mark on the industry! The footage then shows the four men playing pivotal roles in the formation of All Elite Wrestling and the obvious respect and friendship that both teams have for each other in and out of the ring.

We then see the announcement of the Tag Team Championship tournament. Young Bucks beating opponent after opponent and making they way to the finals, defeating LAX and becoming the inaugural AEW World Tag Team Champions at Halloween Havoc! On the same show, we see SCU of Kaz & Daniels winning a pre-show four way tag team match earning their shot at the Young Bucks tonight. The footage then ends.

"A whole lot of respect between these two teams, Gentleman! Make no mistake though - with the AEW Tag Team Championships on the line, both sides are going to be going all out for the victory!" - Jim Ross

"Respect and friendship goes out of the window when the straps are on the line, Ross! I can speak about that personally and who knows, with the problems that SoCal Uncensored have been having - This could very well be their final chance because it's to the back of the queue if they lose tonight!" - Taz

AEW Tag Team Championship Match.
The Young Bucks (C) vs SoCal Uncensored (Kaz & Daniels)

Summary:
First down was Frankie Kazarian & Christopher Daniels. Their usual swagger and act as they called Baltimore the best city to win some AEW Tag Team Championships! While everything appeared fine - there was no Scorpio Sky after his victory earlier perhaps still indicating that all is not okay? Next was the Bucks! Nick & Matt Jackson entering the stage in their usual extravagant fashion. The money falling down from above as they walk across the ramp and head to the ring. The Bucks attire bright with frilly trousers while sporting some new Young Bucks merchandise tops and headbands. The two teams now in the ring as Justin Roberts finishes the announcements. The Two teams then stand opposite each other as Referee Official Earl Hebner holds up the AEW World Tag Team Championships! The two teams embrace with a handshake sharing a final show of respect before the ring bell sounds and the match is on!

Back and forth the match went with both sides trading momentum. The match a throwback from Kaz & Daniels keeping up the pace with the Young Bucks and even at times leading the match with their experience coming into play as they took on the more heel role. Cutting off the ring and interchangeable quick tags to keep each other fresh as they stayed on top - looking to secure the Championships with some close call pin-falls, but Nick & Matt Jackson kicked out each time before the three. As things stand, Frankie Kazarian & Matt Jackson are the legal men in the ring. Matt Jackson in the corner of the turnbuckle after another close kick out. Frankie runs across the ring and like a missile launches into a corner seated Matt Jackson with a drop kick! Kazarian driving his boots into the face of Jackson before leaping back up with an impressive kip up! Kazarian then keeping the pressure on, pulling Matt up by his hair and bringing Jackson back down to the canvas with a picture perfect Michinoku Driver II - Hooking the legs for the cover!

"KAZARIAN WITH THE MICHINOKU DRIVER! COVER! COULD BE OVER HERE!" - Jim Ross

"ONE! TWO! THRE-NOOOOOOOO! MATT JACKSON AGAIN KICKING OUT!" - Tony Schiavone

Earl Hebner throws up a two signal to the timekeeper as Kazarian looks on, perhaps slightly surprised. Confirmation that Matt Jackson was able to get his shoulder up in time. The former Bad Influence duo have been impressive here; In a lot of ways dominating the match and rolling back the years, but seemingly unable to get the job done. Kazarian stands back up, slightly more fatigued but pushes on - pulling up Matt Jackson off the canvas who responds with a forearm to the face! Kazarian then instantly throws one back as both men trade in the middle of the ring. Frankie able to block one before whipping Matt into the ropes and looking to back body drop him to the canvas. Instead Matt Jackson showing his ability as he back slides across Frankie before firing with a side kick to the stomach of Kaz as he turns around. Matt then leaping onto the back of Kaz and bringing him down to the ring canvas with the impressive..

"CODE RED! CODE RED FROM MATT JACKSON!" - Taz

The move made famous by the Amazing Red is enough to send the Baltimore crowd into a frenzy as both Kaz & Matt Jackson are now both down on the canvas. Kaz & Matt after a few seconds begin to stir and start crawling towards their respective corners. The Baltimore crowd making noise, almost encouraging both teams on as Kaz makes the tag first! Christopher Daniels bursting through the ropes, charging towards Matt who now also makes the tag and the speed of the match quickens with the arrival of Brother; Nick Jackson!

Nick spring boarding from the apron to the top rope and leaping off with a front somersault that catches Daniel's perfectly with a sit-out face buster! Daniel's being driven face first into the canvas. Nick Jackson kipping up, and then nailing an in-coming Kazrian with a super kick! BANG! The Super-Kick rocking Kazarian and causing him to fall down to one knee. Nick then runs the ropes and smashes Kaz with a shining wizard! Kazarian rolling out of the ring right after the collision and leaving the path clear for Nick Jackson to stalk Chris Daniels who begins using the ropes to attempt to stand back up after the planted sit-out face buster. Daniels who is now in the corner is greeted by a step-up high knee! Nick driving his knee into the jaw of Daniels before gripping his head in a headlock and running with him before planting him back down with a Bulldog! Nick then hooks the legs and goes for a cover as Earl Hebner drops down and starts the count..

One!

Two!

Thre-Noooooo!

Kazarian at the last second leaping across the ring and breaking up the count with an axe-handle dive to the back of Nick Jackson. Kazarian then looks to keep the pressure on - dragging up Nick and levelling him with a swinging neck-breaker! Matt Jackson then enters the mix once more and looks to strike with a super-kick! Kazarian though catching the leg, and flipping Matt Jackson who manages to land on his feet in an incredible show of agility. Kazarian & Matt staring at each other - almost in an appreciation before Kaz runs at Matt and looks to take his head off with a clothesline that Matt is able to duck. Kaz then bouncing back of the ropes and Matt catches him with a Northern Lights suplex! Matt follows it up by floating over with multiple in the ring as the Baltimore crowd begin to clap and cheer the ability once again on display.

Matt lands the last Northern Lights Suplex and flexes for the crowd, the usual Young Bucks pose before turning to see Christopher Daniels back up. Daniels nailing Matt Jackson with a super-kick of his own! Daniels catching Jackson as he falls down with an exploder suplex. Daniels then turns back to the legal Buck in the match; Nick Jackson. Daniels steps across Nick and begins climbing the turnbuckle. With Daniels positioned on the top rope - the crowd are anticipating what's coming next...

"B! M! E! BEST MOONSAULT EV- NOOOOOOO!" - Tony Schiavone

IT'S A SUPER-KICK PAAARRTTYYYYYY! A spot to remember that will go down in AEW history as Christopher Daniels attempted a BEST MOONSAULT EVER! In mid air - Matt Jackson would scramble up and would dig down deep before nailing Daniels with a SUPER-KICK!! Daniels landing and fallen awkwardly to the canvas in a heap as Nick Jackson rolled out of the way. The Baltimore crowd "OHHHHH!" and chant "HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!" as the Referee checks on Chris Daniels anticipating a serious injury. The Young Bucks are now back up together and they anticipate Kazarian coming - reacting first with a double hip toss followed by a double back handspring into a stereo dropkicks to the face Kazarian taking him out of the match with the N'SYNC!

Attention then turned back to the legal men. Matt & Nick now looking at each other before staring back at Daniels who's still getting checked over by the official. There's a clear cause of worry with the Bucks perhaps not wanting to attack Daniels knowing he's still down - but they clearly want to win the match. They wait a few seconds for Daniels to push Hebner away and try to stand right into a.. SUPER-KICK PAARRTTYYYYY! Double super-kicks to the jaw of Daniels knocking him down. Matt then drags up Daniels and scoops him into a tombstone like position for Nick to come off the ropes from the outside, springing off the top rope with a somersault spike kneeling reverse piledriver!

"MELTZER DRIVER! THE BUCKS WITH THE MELTZER DRIVER!" - Jim Ross

The crowd pop for what appears to be the final nail in the coffin of any chance of 'SCU' winning the match and that proves to be the case. Nick Jackson then hooking the legs for the cover as Earl Hebner drops down and scrambles to count the pinfall. One! Two! Three!

The Young Bucks (W) - 17:09 Match Time.

"ANNDDD STILL! YOUR A! E! W! WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! MATT AND NICK JACKSON! THE YOUNG BUUUCCKKSSS!"
- Justin Roberts

The crowd cheer for the match on display and in appreciation for all four men as the Young Bucks are handed their AEW Tag Team Championships! They pose and hold them up for the world to see for a brief period before noticing that Chris Daniels is still down as Kazarian confides him. Matt & Nick then going over to check that Daniels is okay as they shake hands and hug with Frankie Kazarian & Chris Daniels as all four men walk to the back together with the Baltimore crowd cheering. The two teams stand together at the top of the stage as the commentary put over both teams and say that AEW has the best tag team scene in the industry and both of these teams just showed why before Revolution moves on.

After a short commercial advertising the upcoming 'Becoming the.. Elite!' DARK special episode arriving this coming week - the camera focus returns back to ringside. The atmosphere remains electric, the excitement has maintained all night as the commentary team remind us that up next it's the Main Event! 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho vs 'Hangman' Adam Page for the AEW World Championship! With special guest Referee; 'Best in the World' CM Punk! The footage pans around ringside one more time before attention turns to the stage..

CULT OF PERSONALITY!!

The Baltimore crowd give the largest pop of the evening and immediately start chanting "C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK!" as the 'Best in the World' steps out onto the stage with a smile across his face. Punk then dropping to one knee and teasing the "clobbering time" before standing back up and laughing with the crowd before pointing towards the Referee shirt to suggest he knows tonight isn't about him and that he has a job to do; to call the action this evening. Punk walks down the ramp before circling the ring and slapping hands with the crowd in the front seats before entering the ring as he stands and stares out towards the crowd still chanting his name as he taps his chest before awaiting the match participants.

"We heard it earlier, folks. CM Punk has a job to do tonight and in his own words, he's calling the action right down the middle!" - Jim Ross

"Well that's what he says, Ross - but can we trust that? Can we trust CM Punk to not make it about him? This is so unfair on our Champion; Chris Jericho" - Taz

The big screen then goes live and we see a vignette. It's an old Western saloon where we see show girls dancing on a stage while rowdy cowboys are cheering, and arguing amongst themselves. Slamming down shots with Piano music playing in the background. Suddenly, everyone freezes in the video and the piano music stops. The camera then pans up from a black pair of boots, to a man in black tights, wearing a black vest carrying rope around his neck while wearing a black bandana across his mouth and wearing a black cowboy hat.

The man then tips his hat before strolling across to the bar and sinking down a shot before slamming it back down. The bartender saying - "You're not welcome here, this belongs to Jericho.." - The bartender then running out of the picture shot as we see the showgirls behind him fleeing with a couple of other civilians while the rowdy cowboys now begin to stalk the lone ranger behind him. The man then slams down another shot before turning towards the men and saying.. "I've come for the GOLD! It's time for some COWBOY, SHIT!" The lone ranger then begins to fight his way past the men. Throwing punches as various cowboys are knocked down and thrown across tables and broken glass. The scene ending with the lone ranger pulling back up his bandana covering his mouth and partially his face before putting back on his hat which had dropped to the floor.. The vignette then stops, and the music begins to play with the sound of a horse running.. The 'Hangman' has arrived at Revolution!

GHOST TOWN TRIUMPH!!

1674185171904.png

Baltimore pop once more at the arrival of 'Hangman' Page stepping out onto the stage, almost like he's leaped out of the video vignette wearing the same attire and clutching the noose rope in his hand. Hangman then resting the rope around his shoulders before marching across the stage and heading to the ring with a fierce look of determination across his face, and more importantly, without any sign of injury which plagued him the last time he faced Chris Jericho at All Out in Chicago. 'Hangman' reaches the ring and enters before hitting his pose for the crowd who give another pop again. Page then removes the bandana and throws his hat into the crowd before sharing an awkward exchange with CM Punk who begins to point towards his official Referee shirt as the two begin to exchange words.

"Baltimore with a heroes welcome for the returning to action; Adam 'Hangman' Page!" - Tony Schiavone

"It's make or break for the 'Hangman' tonight, Tony! By his own admission - He's back to full health and this could be his moment to become the AEW World Champion!" - Jim Ross

JUDAS!!

Initial cheers are followed by a wave of boos as the theme of Judas blares out from the speakers signalling the arrival of one man - the AEW World Champion; Chris Jericho! 'Le Champion' struts out from behind the curtain with a scowl on his face - perhaps pissed off with the news earlier from Punk that Hager & Sammy are banned from ringside and that Jericho has to go it alone tonight. Jericho edges closer to the ring as he walks across the ramp, avoiding the reach of the crowd and ignoring their boos as he draws closer to the ring and notices that 'Hangman' & Punk are still exchanging words. Jericho smirking as perhaps a weight off his shoulders seeing that Punk & Page aren't exactly friends either..

1674185207278.png

Jericho then enters the ring and undoes the straps off his Championship and holds it above for all to see. Again a mixed response from the Baltimore crowd with mostly boos, as Jericho then turns towards Punk - hesitating to hand him the Championship as Punk asks for the belt a second time. Jericho eventually handing over the Championship and Punk grasps the belt - his eyes lighting up as he looks out towards the crowd as a small cheer can be heard - perhaps those envisaging the future? Punk then holds the Championship aloft as Justin Roberts re-enters the ring and announces the proceedings.

"It is time for your MAAIINNNN EEVVEEENNTT OF THE EVENING! This match is scheduled for one fall and will be contested for the A! E! W! WOORRLDDDD HEAAVVYYWEIGHT CHAAMMPPIIOONNSSHHIIPPPPP! Introducing first.. He is the CHALLENGER! Hailing from Aarons Creek, Virginia! He is the 'HAANNGGGMAANNN' - ADAM! PAGE!" - Justin Roberts

Pop from the crowd once more as 'Hangman' throws up the cowboy pose before his eyes return back on Jericho.

"ANNDDDDD his opponent! He is the A! E! W! WOORRLLDDDD HEAAVVYYWEEIGHT CHAAMMPIOON! 'LEEEE CHAAAMMPIIOONNNN' CHRIISSSSSSS! JERRIICCHHOOOOO!" - Justin Roberts

AEW World Championship Match (CM Punk - Special Referee)
Chris Jericho (C) vs Adam 'Hangman' Page

Summary:
The bell sounds and the atmosphere is electric. The Baltimore crowd on their feet and cheering the name of Adam 'Hangman' Page as both him and 'Le Champion' Chris Jericho are staring at each other from across the ring while CM Punk stands in the middle. A priceless picture to those watching live in attendance and at home as AEW's biggest Main Event to date is about to play out in front of their eyes. Jericho & Page trash-talking as they edge closer to each other before the match explodes into action!

Champion and Challenger trading strikes, blow for blow as Baltimore goes along for the ride with "OHHHHS" and "AHHHHS" depending on who hits the next strike. Jericho then Irish whipping 'Hangman' into the ropes and looking for a very early spinning back elbow Judas Effect but Page ducks underneath and runs at the opposing ropes before springing off with a huge BIG BOOT! BOOM! 'Hangman' almost taking Jericho's head off with a boot as 'Hangman' tries to scramble for the first cover but the Champion is able to roll out of the ring in time. 'Hangman' follows Jericho, not letting up on the pressure despite Punk telling both men to return the ring and starting the count. Page grabbing Jericho by the hair and looks to swing him into the ring post only for Jericho to follow through with a Irish whip reversal and it's 'Hangman' that goes into the steel back first.. SMASH! The back of Adam Page's head cracking against the steel as well as his back as Jericho continues the aggression - grabbing Page and swinging him into the steel crowd barrier! CRACK! The barrier bouncing backwards as some of the fans scream and move out of the way as the 'Hangman' clattered into the steel.

Punk now reaching the count of Seven as he warns them both to get in the ring. Jericho smirking before telling Punk to count him out as the crowd begin to boo. Jericho now just standing with arms open - demanding Punk to count him out knowing a count out will keep his Championship reign in-tact. Punk though has the choice taken out of his hands as 'Hangman' is back up and blasts Jericho with a forearm! Page then follows up by picking up the Champion and dropping him front first across the steel crowd barrier before rolling back in and out off the ring to break up the count out and restart CM Punk's count. 'Hangman' then drags Jericho over to the timekeepers and medical staff table as he slams Jericho's head across the table frame. Page then grabbing a water bottle before teasing to drink it - instead pouring the water over Jericho and throwing away the bottle and slamming Jericho's head against the table once more.. THUD! Jericho's head bouncing off the table. Page then strolls over to a fan in the front row who's holding out a beer and the crowd begin to cheer as Page grabs the beer and teases he's about to dose it over the head of Jericho before instead swigging it down, throwing the plastic cup and then slamming Jericho's head for a third time against the table.. BANG!

"Thirsty work for a Cowboy!" - Tony Schiavone

"Jericho might be seeing little birdies flying around his head, Tony. Jericho's head bouncing of the table for a THIRD time already!" - Jim Ross

Punk's count is again scaling up and he reaches Eight before Page breaks the count once more. Punk telling 'Hangman' to take the action back in the ring but Page ignores his demands. 'Hangman' instead grabs a now soaking haired Jericho and looks to plant his skull into the table for a Fourth time but the Champion responds with an elbow to gut before striking with a forearm to the face. Jericho then grabbing 'Hangman' before spinning around to gain some momentum before throwing him across the table! Bottles, notes and the medical box go flying as 'Hangman' slides across the table clearing everything in his path as Justin Roberts and the Doctor at ringside flee for safety against the incoming Cowboy; 'Hangman' Adam Page! Jericho then pulls himself into the ring and starts shouting at Punk to "COUNT! COUNT HIM OUT!" as Punk continues despite shaking his head at Jericho happy to take the easy way out here tonight.

"SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE!" Punk seems like he's about to say "TEN!" when Baltimore cheers as 'Hangman' pops up on the ring apron and is able to pull himself in as Punk waves his finger at the timekeeper and Jericho leaps on Page with forearms and strikes - beating him down! Jericho then pops back up to his feet and begins questioning Punk's count and suggesting it was a slow one as Punk just shakes his head and smirks. Punk then attempts to walk past Jericho but the Champion doesn't let it go - spinning Punk around before getting in his face as CM Punk now stands with his expression; A one off - don't push me or I'll punch you.

"Oh boy, here we go, Gentleman! This could be about to explode!" - Jim Ross

"I told you, Ross! I told you! Didn't take Mr 'Best in the World' long to make this about him, did it?!" - Taz

With the Royal Farms Arena crowd watching Punk & Jericho continue to trade words and expecting it to blow up at any moment - 'Hangman' comes right back into the picture; spinning Jericho around and nailing him with a SUPER-KICK! Page then hit the Young Buck pose as a tribute before catching a staggering Jericho and slinging him across the ring with a FALLAWAY SLAM! 'Hangman' then scrambling across the ring and hooking the leg as we have the first cover attempt of the match.

ONE! TWO! KICK-OUT! Jericho throwing his shoulder up as Punk holds up the two! 'Hangman' staring at Punk who again confirms it was only a two count before the cowboy brushes away the hair draping down on his face and looks to continue the momentum and sustain the pressure. 'Hangman' then exits the ring and stands on the ring apron - the challenger motioning for the Champion to stand up as he lies in wait. After a few seconds 'Le Champion' staggers to his feet and Baltimore knows what's coming next as 'Hangman' Page flips over the top rope and steams across the ring with the..

"THE BUCKSHOT LAR-NOOOOOOOOOO! CODEBREAKER! JERICHO WITH THE CODEBREAKER!" - Jim Ross

The crowd gasp as Jericho leaps up and brings Adam Pages face down on his knees with the CODEBREAKER! A move not often used by Jericho these days, but perhaps a sign of the lengths he knows he must-go to defeat the Challenger; Adam 'Hangman' Page tonight! Jericho then scrambles and hooks both legs of the stunned and downed Page as the Baltimore crowd start to anticipate the worst as Punk begins the count!

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-NOOOOO!

Baltimore cheers as 'Hangman' throws up his arm and breaks up the pin attempt at the final second as Jericho shakes his head and glares at CM Punk who confirms the two count. Jericho then pounding the canvas as he really felt he had the match won there and then.

"Adam Page KICKING OUT! 'Hangman' determined not to leave Baltimore, Maryland without that AEW World Championship around his waist tonight at Revolution!" - Tony Schiavone

"One codebreaker wasn't enough, Tony - But one Judas Effect will be! And 'Hangman' has already shown that the veteran Jericho is a step ahead in that ring. You can't beat experience, Gentleman" - Taz

The match continued, and the time-clock was ticking around the 15th minute mark at this point. Champion and Challenger given it everything to come out of Revolution with the biggest price in professional wrestling; The AEW World Championship! The problem was, neither man was ready to give up. Despite numerous close falls and plenty of times where even CM Punk had expected to count the three - Jericho & 'Hangman' would find a way to kick out at the last second to the surprise of the Baltimore crowd.

"WHAT A MATCH! This has been tremendous for far, folks!" - Tony Schiavone

"Certainly has been, Tony. And it's not over - Neither man back down! Neither man ready to give up! Jericho wants to keep HIS Championship! 'Hangman' wants to TAKE it a way! There can only be ONE winner tonight! Who's going to go that extra mile, and pick up the victory and walk out - AEW World Champion?!" - Jim Ross

"Well looking at 'Hangman' Page, I'm getting flashbacks to All Out in Chicago, boys! The Cowboy isn't moving to good right now from what I can see.." - Taz

The match is certainly taking it's toll and it's starting to show on 'Hangman' Page's face as he begins to grimace and start readjusting his knee pad on the same leg that was injured, and that he's only just recovering from. His first match back, and it's the Main Event of Revolution; There's no bigger test and perhaps it's the first sign that since declaring to be fully fit - perhaps it was a match too soon? Jericho see's the grimace, and his are wide open to the opportunity in front of him - Like a shark smelling blood - he shoulder block tackles 'Hangman' and causes him to fall down in a crumble as Jericho begins to smile. 'Le Champion' then rises up and takes a deep suck of oxygen before exploding at Page with kicks and stomps - each one directed at the leg that was formerly injured and might be again as CM Punk rushes over and tries to get Jericho to stop as 'Hangman' is holding onto the ropes. Punk calling for a break up as Jericho just smirks before walking away with his hands up. Jericho then spinning right back around and kicking away the standing leg of Page as he pulled himself up using the ropes and falls back down to the canvas in pain as the Baltimore crowd begin to heavily boo!

Jericho once again walks away, shit eating grin on his face as he holds his hands up like he was innocent as the Baltimore crowd are chanting.. "YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK! YOU SUCK!" as Jericho cups his ears like he cant hear them. Punk checks on 'Hangman' and asks him the dreaded question.. "Can you continue, Page?" - Page instantly nodding his head and pushing Punk away. Page then again uses the rope to pull himself up and Jericho is coming back again.. Jericho looks like he's about to sweep away the leg of Page again but the Cowboy was ready this time and.. BOOOM! A huge discuss forearm to the face rocks the jaw of 'Le Champion' as he stumbles around the canvas. 'Hangman' then shakes his leg and slaps it - perhaps trying to get the blood flowing once more before he picks up Jericho and drops him back down with a kneeling back-to-belly piledriver!

"DEADEYE! 'HANGMAN' WITH THE DEADEYE!" - Jim Ross

"I think the Cowboy might have been playing possum, Ross! This could be his chance!" - Tony Schiavone

Baltimore pops as Page nails Jericho down to the canvas with the DeadEye! The crowd are cheering as Adam Page then pulls himself across the Champion and goes for the cover! Is the boyhood dream from Adam 'Hangman' Page about to come to life!

ONE!

TWO!

THRE-NOOOOOOOOOO!

Baltimore gasps as Jericho throws up his arm and shoulder at the last second as 'Hangman' is shaking his head in disbelief at CM Punk who throws up a two signal and even shrugs his shoulders, suggesting that he thought the match was over too.

"Jericho KICKED OUT! Page thought the match was won!" - Taz

'Hangman' stumbles back to his feet, and he's mouthing to himself - perhaps trying to fire himself up for a final push to try and put Jericho away. 'Hangman' then goes between the middle rope and stands on the ring apron. Page then stomping his foot of the injured leg up and down before again bashing his fist against - one more attempt to get the blood and adrenaline flowing. 'Hangman' then begins shouting at Jericho to get up! Adam Page almost begging 'Le Champion' to stand up as Baltimore knows what's coming next. After a few seconds, a fatigued and now heavily blowing Jericho stands up, using the ropes to do so before stumbling in the middle of the ring as 'Hangman' front flips over the ropes.. lines up.. AND... BUCKSHOT LAR-

..JERICHO GRABS CM PUNK BY HIS REFEREE SHIRT AND PULLS HIM INTO THE MIDDLE OF THE RING BEFORE STUMBLING DOWN. 'Hangman' was already in full flow and was charging after the flip and he's now heading in the direction of the Referee Official; CM Punk! Punk at the last second is able to avoid contact, ducking down as 'Hangman' also slightly moved enough to miss. 'Hangman' then spins around and both him and Punk are staring at each other - Punk motions at how close he was to striking him with the Buckshot Lariat. 'Hangman' has no time to respond though as 'Le Champion' was already ready to strike and he did to devastating effect. The AEW World Champion using the slight distraction to blindside Page with the..

"JUDAS EFFECT! THAT DAMN JERICHO JUST HIT PAGE WITH THE JUDAS EFFECT!" - Jim Ross

"GENIUS, ROSS! CHRIS JERICHO IS A GENIUS! He used Punk as the shield, and then NAILED 'Hangman' with the Judas Effect! This match is OVER! Count it boys; Page ain't getting back up!" - Taz

Chris Jericho has a smirk on his face as he leans against the ropes fatigued and watches 'Hangman' laid out in the middle of the ring. Jericho then looks up at Punk who is clearly pissed off - annoyed that he was used to gain an advantage but almost helpless to do anything about it. Jericho stumbles across the ring and almost falls on top off 'Hangman' and goes for the cover! There's hesitation though - Punk is standing and shaking his head - he didn't want it to end in a way which could cause controversy. Jericho is looking up, shouting at Punk to count the pin and do his job! Punk battles with the thought of his head, before doing what he was assigned to do..

ONE!

TWO!

THR-NOOOOOOOO!

BALTIMORE GOES CRAZY AS 'HANGMAN' PAGE KICKS OUT AT THE LAST SPLIT SECOND!! Jericho looks like he's seen a ghost as the smirk is wiped away from his face and begins to berate CM Punk. Punk is now smiling, shrugging his shoulders before almost laughing as Jericho now goes on a tirade and gets in the face of the 'Best in the World' as the two begin exchanging words as they look like they're about to throw down!

"CM Punk just COST Jericho this victory right here! Did you see the delay?!" - Taz

"Oh come on, Taz! Delay? Gimme' a break! Jericho knew what he was doing - He tried to STEAL a victory tonight just like he's always done here in All Elite Wrestling!" - Jim Ross

"Justice, Jim! I think Justice was served right there and this match continues! It's not ending that way!" - Tony Schiavone

Baltimore are on their feet and are chanting "C! M! PUNK! C! M! PUNK!" as him and Jericho continue trading words as it looks like it's about to erupt at any moment. Attention then turns to 'Hangman' Page. He's hanging in there and he stumbles to his feet, his legs shaky, and he's bleeding slightly from the mouth after the Judas Effect to the face. Jericho turns back and see's the Cowboy now standing. 'Hangman' is wobbling, running on pure adrenaline with the crowd driving him on but he looks done. 'Hangman' then motions for Jericho to come at him, almost finish him off in a last stand from the cowboy as Jericho stares back. Page then throwing up his middle finger and telling him.. "BRING IT YOU SON OF A BITCH!" A defiant stand as Jericho scrunches up his fast and charges at 'Hangman' Page... BANG! A second JUDAS EFFECT rocking the jaw of 'Hangman' Page and knocking him down and this time out cold in the centre of the ring. 'Le Champion' hitting him with so much force that he too fell over and down to the canvas.

Chris Jericho now pulls himself across the ring and hooks the legs of the challenger! Punk doesn't want too, but he knows what's coming and that this is the end of the challenge from 'Hangman' Page! Punk begins to count the pinfall and the Baltimore crowd know what's coming next..

ONE!

TWO!

THREE!

Chris Jericho (W) - 25:07 Match Time.

"YOUR WINNNEERRRR! AND STILL YOUR A! E! W! WOOORRLLDDD CHAAMMPPIIOONNNN! 'LE CHAMPION' CHHRRIISSSSSS JERRIICCHHOOOOOO!"
- Justin Roberts

Mostly boos can be heard as Judas blares from the speakers and a grinning Chris Jericho is laid out on the canvas looking out towards the booing Baltimore crowd as he knows he's retained his AEW World Championship, and has survived the challenge of Adam 'Hangman' Page. 'Le Champion' then stands back up, using the ropes before demanding his Championship. CM Punk receives the belt from the timekeeper before clutching it and again looking out towards the crowd - almost like he thinks they deserve better. Jericho then stumbles over to Punk; demanding his title, and CM Punk after a few seconds thrust's it into the chest of Jericho before walking past him and leaving the ring, heading up the ramp. Jericho smiles at the crowd before rolling out of the ring and looking back at 'Hangman' Page is now seated in the turnbuckle corner - blood running from his mouth and possibly a tear falling from his eyes as he knows tonight was his chance, and he's missed out on the AEW World Championship once again to Chris Jericho!

Revolution then signs off with a distraught 'Hangman' Page in the ring, watching Jericho walk out of Revolution with the gold. Jericho now stands at the top of the stage, and poses down the camera, holding his AEW World Championship for the world to see! Jim Ross praises the effort from 'Hangman' Page, wondering if this match came too soon after his injury? He then congratulates Jericho on his performance and retaining the AEW World Championship before thanking the fans for tuning in to Revolution!

Authors Note: Well, there it is! My version of AEW Revolution! So firstly, I don't know if it was the length, or too many pictures, but I couldn't code/edit the Main Event without it crashing and so I had to do it as a separate post. Sorry! As for the show, I was really proud when I did this.. and I still am! Hope you guys enjoy it those of you that take the time to check it out, or of course those that have already read it before and might just skim it as a refresher. Next will be regular programming and some new material soon for those waiting patiently while I went through all the recap stuff. Special thanks to Looking Glass for the match card GFX. Thank you to BattleTank for the dividers, and lastly thank you to Rant for the Winter is Coming poster GFX. Appreciate it boys! <3

Hey Deco! This baby needs some love so here I am! I'm sure I read this before but my memory is horrible, haha. So at the very least this will be a fun reminder.

I've always enjoyed how you have been able to capture a lot of AEW in your BTB but also since you started it from Day 1, you've been able to also spin it into your own thing that makes also feel quite different. Case in point, the "Deathmatch Championship" and giving Joey Janela more to do. Even if it's just the Buy In, I enjoy this. And bringing in Sandman for a mystery opponent apperance is tons of fun but I'm glad its Janela picking up the win as Sandman still has enough "name value" in hardcore wrestling to be considered a nice win for Janela.

Also always like that you are trying to do more with the women. While I'm not a big fan of Ivelisse, I appreciate what you're doing and the win over Mercedes was impressive.

Two open challenges in one night may be too many, lol, but of course a Chris Hero appearance is pretty cool. I know you had Taz in as a manager before AEW actually did, but still like how different you went with Jeff Cobb and to me he probably feels more like a fit for Taz as a manager than Brian Cage (and Starks or Hobbs) did. Big win for Cobb here.

Love both LAX and Lucha Bros so that match was a lot of fun and either winner was going to be okay in my book. They both came out looking strong to me.

Big fan of how you brought in MVP as well. Surprised we didn't get some type of swerve in the match with Sky, but the post match is interesting with MVP smiling.

These Punk/Hangman segments sure do feel more interesting after all the real life happenings, lol.

Always like a DDP apperance but given MJF's obvious potential, the Friedman Family definitely had to win here and the way they did it was impressive, inlcuding the post match beatdown. And heading for a possibly Cody/MJF program should be fun.

Hager actually looking like a somewhat of a "big deal" in AEW is another difference from real life, lol, with him being undefeated. I thought maybe Daga would get the big win here, but definitely was shocked by the Cain Velesquez thing. Not really sure how I feel about him showing up in general given all his real life legal issues which obviously took place after this, but also wasn't really into his WWE stuff either. Obviously it makes for a big MMA clash with Hager, I'm just not sure I'll be too invested in either guy, tbh.

As I mentioned before, the women's division is certainly much more interesting, especially for where it was during this time period. The Decay have felt like a big deal since the beginning so them winning here is both expected and the right call. No reason to slow their momentum.

Bucks and SCU was fun but Bucks winning was the right call as well. They make the titles feel like a big deal and would love to see them get a date with LAX now.

Jericho and Hangman also delivered well as the main event. As much as I love Hangman, it's definitely too early at this point for him to take the title and there's still mileage left in Jericho's title reign. Obviously the money is in the eventual Punk/Jericho match, even with how much I don't care for the guy now, lol.

Good stuff deco, I'm excited for the new stuff to come!

Authors Note: So, this should have actually been before Revolution in the timeline. However it doesn't matter too much really. This will be the first episode of 'Becoming.. The Elite!' - And as I said previously, it will very much be inspired by an old WWE Network show called proven ground where NXT 'rookies' were shown training and looking to make an impression. Just felt it was a good chance to showcase and get to know perhaps some lesser known names, build stories from etc. Any way, hope it goes down well.

"Becoming.. The Elite!"
Episode One.
November 3, 2019
Location - Norcross, GA. AEW: One Fall Power Factory.

YouTube & Social Media.

The cameras are rolling as we're shown the first ever glimpses of AEW's very own performance centre in full flow here at the One Fall Power Factory! We're shown the inaugural class in the ring, their session being led by head coach QT Marshall with Billy Gunn & Jerry Lynn at his left & right side, passing on instructions and techniques. The class being drilled as they're running the ropes and taking bump after bump in the ring. For many, they've done this a thousand, maybe a million times but the basics being shown are a clear instruction and test to see how they respond and if they're open to learning as the class continues in session.

The footage then switches from the class in session and over to the head of talent relations as the camera crew catch up with Christopher Daniels who's been watching and studying the inaugural class, no doubt with an eye on the future for the likes of DARK & Dynamite!

"Really, really impressive! I tell you, we've got some amazing talent here! They're working good and you know, so far so good but they've got a way to go. But yeah, so much talent.. I'm happy!" - Christopher Daniels

Daniels finishes with a smile and a nod to the camera, no doubt some early pressure lifted from his shoulders after featuring heavy in the recruitment of the inaugural class of 'Becoming.. The Elite!' and being impressed with what he has seen up till now.

"You know we're going to be running some shows down here at the One Fall Power Factory, nothing like DARK or Dynamite but we're going to get some of these in front of a crowd and I think that's when we will really see what we have for the first time. It's exciting! I'm excited for them. And then if all goes well, I've already spoke with Tony Khan and it's been decided that some of these people we've signed are really, really talented.. Which we knew of course but for those that we feel have responded best, and are ready, a step ahead in their development or have that experience, well they're going to be debuting on DARK very soon and then it's another step up! Another step on the path to Becoming.. The Elite! Which of course is the ultimate goal. Getting people week in, week out on Dynamite! Shining for All Elite Wrestling!" - Christopher Daniels

The camera then switches once more, this time a little later in the day as we see Coach Dustin Rhodes laughing and joking with Lacey, Marshal & Ross of the Von Erich Family! Perhaps Dustin sharing memories of their Father and Uncles as the camera crew are able to catch up with them for a moment.

"Oh it's been great man! We're having a blast! Getting the chance to do this with my Brother Ross and our Cousin Lacey - Sharing stories and learning from the likes of Dustin.. Rhodes! It's been a lot of fun! Hard work! But a lot of fun too, for sure!" - Marshall Von Erich

The tone of the conversation then changes as the Von Erich's are asked about their ambitions after signing developmental deals with All Elite Wrestling.

"You know we're ambitious! All of us! Me and my Brother Marshall, we've had a taste of that success in Major League Wrestling. We've been Champions but we want more! Success in this business is ingrained in our DNA, it's in our blood and we felt joining All Elite Wrestling was the next step in the next generation of the Von Erich Family! And you know, we're going for the top! So Young Bucks, we know you will be watching us, and we're certainly watching you and we want those Tag Team Championships!" - Ross Von Erich

"I guess it's different for me. My Cousins are just getting started in this business and they've got bright futures! They're so, so talented and they make me proud every day! But for me, I'm almost restarting! I spent some time in TNA and I learnt so much! I maybe wasn't ready for it.. I've stepped away, I've become a Mum, I've achieved some things outside of the business and now I'm back in and I'm ready to cause a tornado and shake up the Women's Division here in All Elite Wrestling! We're Von Erichs, it's in our blood" - Lacey Von Erich

The hard work continues at the One Fall Power Factory as the camera focus returns to the ring where Coach Dean Malenko is stretching some of the class, teaching them how to lock up and grapple. An exchange occurs where Malenko is grappling with Englishman Chris Brookes, placing him in a Full Nelson. Brookes then sliding through and dropping between the legs of Malenko before placing the veteran in a head lock. The class watching on with intrigue. It doesn't take long for the 'Ice-Man' to wretch the arm of Brookes, rolling out of the hold before snatching up and grabbing Brookes in a head lock of his own. Malenko displaying to the class where they want to position their arms as they applaud the quick tutorial from both men. Malenko then nods and shakes the hand of Chris Brookes, clearly impressed with the former Progress Wrestler.

Suddenly the class is brought to a screeching halt as a commotion comes through the One Fall Power Factory doors in the form of a suited and booted, beauty of a lady. Sunglasses on, black tight fitted power suit and with her mobile in one hand and what appears a contract in the other. Trailing behind her appears to be her own photographer as he snaps her every move. The class turns to face the lady approaching ringside as Arn Anderson who was in attendance watching on from an office close by, pops out and addresses the lady, clearly unhappy with the commotion.

"Hey! Selina, You're late lady! I don't know who you think you are coming in here like Marilyn Monroe but this isn't how we do it down here!" - Arn Anderson

It's Selina de La Renta, and she doesn't have a care in the world as she finishes up her phone conversation before Arn Anderson approaches.

"Missy, I'm talking to you.. You're late, where have you been? Class started two hours ago!" - Arn Anderson

Selina finally ends her phone call before rolling her eyes at Arn Anderson. She then flicks her hair before pushing the contract into the chest of Arn Anderson. Selina then snaps her fingers at her personal photographer as he scurries across to get the shot of Selina forcing the contract upon Arn.

"Old man.. Maybe you don't know who I am.. I'm SELINA.. DE.. LA.. RENTA! Now, maybe you don't know my name right now, but you're about to never forget it because I've got a message for all of you! Selina doesn't wait around and stand in line for an opportunity! Selina goes and TAKES IT! So while all you nobodies are learning to run ropes and roll across that sweaty, disgusting mat.. I'm making MOVES! I'm making POWER DEALS! And I've just struck a deal that will see me go right to DYNAMITE! So, this DEVLEOPMENT.. DEAL? Yeah! THANKS! BUT NO THANKS! I'm good. Did you get the shot?" - Selina de La Renta

The photographer nods before flashing another quick picture as Selina poses once again. Arn meanwhile is now quickly trying to scan through the contract. A puzzled look across his face.

"GOOD! Then I'm done here! Photo guy, let's go! See you soon lovelies, you can catch me on WEDNESDAY NIGHT DYNAMITE! Now if you excuse me, I've got people I need to see! Adios!" - Selina de La Renta

Selina then flicks her hair before blowing a kiss at Arn Anderson and turning to leave. Arn shakes his head as he continues to scan through the contract.

"What the HELL is going on here? Somebody get the office on the phone, I want this checked out!" - Arn Anderson

The final part of the episode comes to a conclusion as the camera crew catch up with Jiro Kuroshio, Sareee & Konosuke Takeshita. Three out of the four Japanese wrestlers that All Elite Wrestling have signed to a 'Becoming.. The Elite' development contract. Stood by with a translator to aid them, the camera crew are able to grab some thoughts from the three wrestlers and their plans in All Elite Wrestling!

"All Elite Wrestling! Wow, this is so cool man! I'm happy to be here!" - Jiro Kuroshio

Jiro, 28 years old and known as an Ikeman of Japanese culture, someone considered cool and sharply dressed was clearly in excited and jovial fashion with a smile beaming across his face. Clearly not nervous in front of the camera as he was enjoying the spotlight and attention.

"My teacher, Tajiri! He told me when I left Wrestle-1 about America, and American Wrestling! It sounded amazing and when Kenny Omega reached out and said that AEW wanted to sign me.. I had to come! I want to become the best.. I want to become.. Elite!" - Jiro Kuroshio

Next up and it was the turn of the 24 year old former JWP Joshi Puroresu Junior Champion! Sareee! Smiling but clearly not as comfortable in the camera, the young lady spoke.

"Riho and Hikaru Shida have helped me settle. They've really helped me and they told me all about All Elite Wrestling! I am excited to be here! The training here is good. We work, a lot, and we learn everyday! I know I can improve if I listen and work. I want to be successful. I want to be AEW Women's Champion!" - Sareee

Last up and by no means least it was the turn of the 25 year old, and 2013 Tokyo Sports "Rookie of the Year" Konosuke Takeshita. Konosuke came across focused and determined, clearly confident in his own ability.

"This is the next step in my career! I know I am ready to become Elite! I've been an athlete all my life and I got into the wrestling business in 2011 and by 2013 I took Japan by storm as the "Rookie of the Year" and became a KO-D Openweight Champion in DDT by the age of Twenty One! Success is in my blood and things will be no different in All Elite Wrestling! I will work, I will learn and I will become Elite! Kenny Omega, thank you for signing me but you've made a mistake, I'm coming for your spot!" - Konosuke Takeshita

The footage then ends as the crew wrap up the day of filming.
A glimpse into the futures of these men and women on their journey to..

'Becoming.. The Elite!'

Right, Deco my friend, sorry this has taken me so long to get round to. Life has been kicking my ass but here come my thoughts on Revolution and your version of what AEW should be.

-The Buy-In – A nice surprise in having The Sandman face Joey Janela but as expected he came up short and lost. Wondering where this Janela storyline heads next, can’t say I have ever been a massive fan of him but at least this gives him some direction. Ivelisse winning over Mercedes was neat and I prefer her out of the two. You went hard with her being the next challenger so I’m assuming that is what will happen, but we shall see. Now, onto the main show!

-Jeff Cobb and Taz – I really like this pairing and the idea of a new Human Suplex Machine. Cobb is great and I think having the surprise opponent being Chris Hero for him to beat was another wise choice. I think you just keep booking Cobb to win until his first proper feud begins with someone really established or he goes after a title to make maximum impact.

-LAX beating Fenix and Penta – I really enjoyed this as the first match on the show proper as it was high energy and would have really got the crowd going. I think this was the right booking decision as LAX need the win more than the Lucha Bros right now and I think they have real potential. I was always miffed as to why they never got much of a push in AEW and actually think being with Jericho probably hurt them in hindsight.

-Sky beating MVP – Not much to say here, seemed like a routine win for Scorpio although it seems there is something more coming here with the smirking MVP after losing. I’m all for MVP making a Hurt Business-type faction in AEW as think he is great in that role. I will say I’m not that high on Sky so I wouldn’t want him to be the leader of it but we shall see.

-Friedman Family vs. Dustin & DDP – I thought this was expertly done. You really have the MJF character down really well and I enjoyed everything about the pre-match, match and post-match. The despicable win and then grabbing Brandi by the hair was rightly the way to get Cody involved in this feud and it means we’re likely to get Dustin and Cody with Brandi against the Friedmans before he gets involved in the title picture I reckon. Tremendous stuff.

-Hager vs. Daga – This was chaotic and in a good way. Hager has always been someone with potential but has never quite made it although this angle has really given him a chance. I can’t say I know Daga although I feel like maybe he was in Lucha Underground? Anyway, the match was fine but it served the aftermath angle with Cain debuting which I think is a smart idea. It will be interesting to see how you utilise him as I think he’ll need to be hidden to a large extent because of his lack of wrestling ability.

-The Decay – I really like this trio. Obviously, I’m aware of Thunder Rosa and I have seen some of Rosemary in Impact and I think having a group running a division is always smart in making everyone feel more special. See the Bloodline or Britt and Hayter in AEW more recently. It feels like it is going to be a massive deal whoever beats Rosemary for the title and the women’s division will be really put on the map when that happens. Decent match and really a showcase more than anything.

-Omega vs. Moxley interviews and announcement – This was a nice surprise but I can’t help but think the crowd at a pay-per-view would have hated that they weren’t there and would have shat all over it. Personally, I see no reason not to do this in the ring and it would have given it an even bigger feel. Intrigued by the AEW/AAA crossover event and what other matches will be on the show. I expect Omega to win and then we get some sort of rubber match between him and Moxley.

-Tag Team Titles match – I really enjoyed this match and thought you got the frantic nature of Young Bucks matches across nicely. Never really felt SCU had a chance of winning the titles and it would have been the wrong booking decision anyway. Bucks victory with no angle after was good as it was becoming a bit too angle-heavy for a pay-per-view. Good stuff.

-MAIN EVENT – Jericho vs. Page – I bloody loved this. You made it feel so grand with the entrances and the ring introductions and the match did not disappoint. These are my favourite special referee involvements where they don’t ruin the match and play a massive role in the finish, but it is definitely worthwhile having them involved. I thought Jericho would retain but on a couple of occasions I thought Hangman had done it. His time will definitely come but it feels right to keep it on Jericho at the moment. A superb main event fitting of a great show.

I really liked what you did with this show and just how different to real life it is. Very intrigued to see what direction you go in next and who else comes in over the next months. It must be very tempting to do a lot of what they did in real life and some of it I would but the joy of BTB is you can make it your own. Keep up the great work my friend!

Revolution!

- AEW officials are said to be really pleased with the feedback and success of Revolution. Unsurprisingly, it has beaten Halloween Havoc viewership & butyrate's, and is on course to become All Elite Wrestling's most successful PPv to date with management also really pleased with the matches, performances and the feedback from the general fans. One thing that has also been said to have really pleased AEW management was the general shock and surprise factors to the debuts and 'surprises' with no leaks and all information staying in house.

In regards to those debuts - We can confirm that The Sandman was a one deal appearance. Sandman took to Social Media to thank Baltimore for the "pop" and letting him rock the house one more time. As for Cain Velasquez, we don't have no confirmation on the full details of the contract - but it appears to be a part time contract that will see him possibly wrestle for both AEW & AAA Worldwide in Mexico. Konnan is said to have played a massive part in securing Velasquez's move to turn down WWE and sign with All Elite Wrestling where it looks like he's set to side with Konnan & Daga, to face Jericho, Sammy & Hager in the coming months.

Chris Hero's situation is said to be more uncertain. It's our understanding that Hero's appearance at Revolution was on a handshake deal with Tony Kahn however both parties are said to be very open to working together again in the future. It's believed that Chris Hero could return full time to the ring, but there is also said to be some interest in Chris Hero helping backstage as a trainer/producer for the company.

AEW VS AAA?!

- Huge news coming out of Revolution was the announcement of "Guerra De Elite Titanes" - Where we will see Kenny Omega defending his AAA Mega Championship against Jon Moxley! There's no doubt that since the incarnation of All Elite Wrestling the continued successful relationship with AAA Worldwide as part of the ongoing Global Talent Exchange has played a huge role in the marketing and devolvement side of the company, picking up TV deals in Mexico and shifting merchandise. Both AEW & AAA officials are said to be "delighted" with the continued partnership and especially with the development of Daga.

This PPV is said to be a "celebration" of the companies, and their partnership with some early details confirming the show will be live from Arena Ciudad de Mexico, Mexico City, Mexico on the 22nd of December, 2019. It's also understood that every match will feature an AEW vs AAA stipulation with both companies titles on the line in some cases with the match card said to be announced in the coming weeks.

Following the confirmation of "Guerra De Elite Titanes" - The first challenge has come from the AAA World Cruiserweight Champion; Laredo Kid.

1675461333040.png

Laredo Kid taking to social media and tagging All Elite Wrestling that he will be defending his Championship at the event and is taking on all comers. At this moment in time - No notable response has come from anyone on the All Elite Wrestling roster but one would assume it's a matter of time.

More WWE releases to come?!

- Back in early 2019, not many people were surprised to see the likes of Hideo Itami (KENTA) Rhyno, Arn Anderson, Tye Dillinger (Now, Shawn Spears) TJP, Jordan Myles (ACH) Sin Cara, Chris Hero, Goldust (Dustin Rhodes) & The Ascension all leave the WWE for various reasons. WWE is known to have a "spring cleaning" after Mania season, and we're told that this year might not be any different with more releases expected to come. However one thing that WWE haven't prepared for is the rise of All Elite Wrestling with some said to have their eyes on the upstart promotion with a chance of a fresh start and a new challenge appealing to many. It's also said that with New Japan still a viable option away from America, and the seemingly fresh start approach from Impact - WWE are actively preparing for possible release requests. It's also understood that with change in the boardroom at the titan of Sports Entertainment led by Nick Khan - WWE would be happy to allow people to depart should they wish to leave with the focus on creating more 'homegrown' talent for the future.

Authors Note: Thank you for the feedback and reaction to Revolution! I was really happy with the show and I'm glad it's gone down well. Hopefully after seeing the first 'Becoming.. The Elite!' episode that makes more sense in regards to what I'm trying to achieve with the idea if there was any doubt too. Next up, I have the second episode of 'Becoming.. The Elite!' and that will followed by the 7th episode of Dynamite and the 7th episode of DARK which will be a 'Becoming.. The Elite! special episode.

'Becoming.. The Elite!'
Episode Two.
November 12, 2019
Location - Norcross, GA. AEW: One Fall Power Factory.

YouTube & Social Media.

The second episode opens up with the full class surrounding the ring. Mixed in with them are coaches, physios, dieticians, strength and conditioning trainers - All the man power that goes into making an 'elite' wrestler and help fulfil these young men and women's dreams are on show. In the ring is Head Coach; QT Marshall and also Head of Talent Relations; Christopher Daniels.

Daniels & QT calling a rallying meeting ahead of the special "Becoming.. The Elite!" edition of DARK and how big of an opportunity it is for everyone to impress! QT reminds the class of why they have been putting in the sweat, blood and tears to get here! It's to get to shows like AEW DARK, bust your ass, get noticed and then get to AEW Dynamite and Pay-Per-Views like Revolution! QT says how he believes in every single one of them, and tells them they wouldn't be here if they didn't have the potential to make it here in All Elite Wrestling!

Daniels then says how it's important to make the most of these next two days ahead of DARK because he will be reporting back to Tony Khan and along with the rest of the producers will form the card to put on the best show possible for the fans. Daniels says that not everyone will make the card this time - but this could be the first opportunity of many and that you need to step up and take every chance you can get. Christopher Daniels then calls Ben Carter into the ring and calls him an example. Daniels reminds the class that this man was on DARK a couple of weeks ago facing Jungle Boy as nothing more then an enhancement talent. Daniels says he took his moment, busted his ass and impressed everyone! He got trending on social media, and now he's here as the official first entrant announced in the second "Becoming.. The Elite!" class! The crowd then applaud as Ben Carter thanks Daniels, and shakes his hand before smiling.

Head of Talent Relations Chris Daniels then calls an end to the meeting as Arn Anderson says.. "You heard the man! Let's get back to work, come on!" - The crowd then disburse as the scene cuts away and the show moves on as we now see the various wrestlers training. Running, lifting weights, stretching and of course some doing some ring work where we see special guest coach; Chris Hero!

Chris Hero is working with former professional boxer and 2012 Olympic Bronze Medallist; Anthony Ogogo. Who better for the striker to learn from then the man known as the 'KO Artist' - Chris Hero. Hero showing him working punches and forearm strikes. Taking him through the lock up process and also the basics of the ring as this is clearly a new world for the former pro boxer as the camera crew catch up with the man.

"The fitness, the work outs - that comes easy to me. The wrestling though, I'm learning. Step by step, and I'll be ready, trust me. I ain't ever failed in life and I ain't about to start now! Won't be long before you see the Guv'nor inside an AEW ring and somebody getting knocked out! Trust me" - Anthony Ogogo

A confident and cocky Ogogo flashes a smile before he turns away from the camera and returns to hitting the pads with Hero as he lands some big strikes and punches.

The show then moves on again and we see a glimpse inside the minds of the coaches as we hear Dustin Rhodes and Diamond Dallas Page giving their feedback to Christopher Daniels who appears to be taking notes.

"Bro, Shigehiro! Dude, he's a big boy! We can do something with him" - Dallas Page

"Yeah I like him! Strong! Powerful! He's been around too, he's travelled. I think he would handle the roads fine and he's been teaming with CIMA and the Strong Hearts too" - Dustin Rhodes

"Hmm. Okay, good. What about Kelly Klein? She's one of the oldest in the group. Former Women of Honor Champion with ROH. What do we think?" - Christopher Daniels

"Basics are great! Understanding and psychology is good. Sure, she's ready. Chris, Anna Jayy - that's one to watch, I think. So much potential" - Dustin Rhodes

"Anna Jayy, bro, she's a fighter - she wants this so much. She's green though so I think she's going to need some time to improve. Faye Jackson, bro, power house! I'm telling you if we got her working with Kong.. Money! That's money bro. We got something there" - Dallas Page
Daniels nods along, taking notes and seemingly happy with the feedback. The camera crew then moves on as we see Coach Dean Malenko working with two men who are already feeling the pressure of carrying the legacy that follows them. The sons of the Dynamite Kid - Mark & Thomas Billington.

"It's not easy, but nothing is that's worth fighting for, especially in wrestling. Me and Tom, we've been working local shows and more recently with Defiant Wrestling - step by step, we're learning. It helps working with someone like Malenko, a legend, someone who wasn't the biggest in the wrestling business but was one of the best wrestlers of his generation" - Mark Billington

"Yeah like my Brother Mark said, it's not been an easy journey. When you carry the name 'Billington' and the legacy of Dynamite Kid and of course the British Bulldogs, it's tough sometimes. It can get you in the door, but we're not like our Dad or Davey Boy, we're pretty small and sometimes that can make you conscious in this business but I think AEW has shown that doesn't matter here. There's diversity and you've got people like Sammy, Jungle Boy, they're on Dynamite and putting on a great show. I think we're in the right company to learn and keep growing" - Thomas Billington

The footage then ends as the crew wrap up another day of filming.

A glimpse into the futures of these men and women on their journey to..

'Becoming.. The Elite!'
Authors Note: So, that's the second episode of "BTE" - Next up will be Dynamite episode Seven & DARK episode Seven which will be a 'Becoming.. The Elite!' Special.
