John and Bruce face off in their fathers old gym.

Bruce: So you’re what the booking department now? Running into the ring deciding who wins and who loses? I thought you were all about the fans now?

John whips Bruce into the ropes. Bruce bounces off as John goes for a clothesline but Bruce slides between John’s legs.

John: I am about the fans. I’m all about an impact. Proving to everyone out there that retirement isn’t when someone hits thirty-five. I’ve been in several companies I’ve been the Commonwealth Champion, Deathmatch Champion, World Heavyweight and everything in between at all of them. Every one of those belts meant something. Three weeks ago I made the ACW World Heavyweight Championship meaningless.

The two men stop. Bruce looks at John inquisitively.

Bruce: How do you mean?

John: I made the king. I jumped into that ring and decided who won and who lost Flair didn’t win that belt. I did.

Bruce: So now your deciding who wins all the matches? I’m not following the logic bro.

John places his hands on his hips shaking his head.

John: No… Well yes. Here’s how I see it Chris didn’t get the win right?

Bruce: Right you jumped in laid out Syn and put Flair’s arm on top.

John: Right. And I did the same thing two weeks ago letting him know we were threw.

Bruce: Yeah ok.

John: So he now had two wins that I gave him. One of which got him that belt around his waist. So how do I correct that mistake?

Bruce hops up onto a turnbuckle thinking it over.

Bruce: No clue.

John: Syn is the number one contender. As far as I’m concerned I’m the champion. See things like that are what make the fans hate you.

John: Stick with me on this one I’m the champion because I got Flair into that match gave up my spot for him and went into the ring and made him the winner. I did the majority of the work here.

Bruce: I guess.

John: So I’m basically the champion and Flair’s holding the title for me for a bit.

Bruce: Ok but why are you rushing the ring and changing the outcomes…Still.

John: I’ve got to fix what I screwed up I gave the belt to some Jabroni who didn’t earn it. Sure I could just let Syn when it off of him but then it’s still a meaningless title. If he wins it cause Flair’s as green as grass what does that prove.

Bruce: So your trying to get yourself added to the match because of the constant interference? So that the title will mean more?

John: Right.

Bruce jumps down a sudden realization.

Bruce: Your trying to recreate the Breaking Ground match!

John: Finally. I’m only changing one thing. What would have happened if I hadn’t been helping Flair all along.

Bruce: John, wow. Your using heel tactics to do something the company actually needs. You’re not the hero they want but you’re the hero they need right now. John, your batman!

John: Now who’s over doing it?

John looks at his watch realizing he’s got to get to the arena. He quickly explains to Avalanche and takes off.

In the ring.
John stands in the center of the ring. Staring out over the crowd, smiling.

John: How you guys doing? Having a good time.

John smiles as the crowd screams the expected YESSS!

John: Kids making money everywhere off of that. Do you know what I’m out here to talk about?

John pauses once again the crowd silent.

John: Steve’s going to be pissed though.

John laughs as the crowd lets out a what chant.

John: Two things that will never die, shocking Matt isn’t one of them. Now lets get down to business.

John begins to pace in the ring .

John: So I came into this company with the wrong attitude. Actually most of my career I’ve had the wrong attitude.
It’s been a what can you do for me mentality. A I’m the.

John pauses.

John: Greatest, most excellent. Most deserving that’s what I was trying to find. I’ve gone through my career with a sense of entitlement. I won my first World Championship at twenty two I was the youngest Heavyweight champion in any company that mattered and that went straight up here.

John points to his head.

John: A lot of you may not understand what being the champion really means. You get all the perks the cars, limos, jets even. The divas, the groupies, not to be conceded but pretty much any woman you want you can get. You’re on the cover of magazines, video games, you might even get a book written about you. At twenty two it’s inevitable it’ll go to your head people tell you you’re the best. That your important. It was worse for me. I got the belt with the belt came some cash. Then I started investing so in came more cash and more cash. Sure the titles came and went and so did the companies. But the self importance that was never taken away. Once I got up here.

John puts his hand above his head.

John: The lowest I ever went was here.

John lowers his hand all of an inch.

John: And that was probably an instance of losing a title or something. I still had everything else I could want though.
Here we are ten years later and I still have all those things. Actually I’ve probably only changed for one or two reasons.

John’s voice begins to get more somber.

John: You see my entire life I was an orphan a ward of the state or a boy on the streets. Eventually I made my way into this business. Unbeknownst to me I had a brother, Bruce. Actually Bruce and I have worked together in a couple of Companies not knowing we were related. But once he found out the truth from our Father the late, great, Bonesaw McGraw, Bruce made every effort to get through to me. Now slowly he’s started to show me that you guys, the fans are great people.

The fans erupt in cheers

John: I’ve interacted with more and more of you over the past few months. I’ve gotta say some of you have amazing stories to tell yourselves. But still for whatever reason I’ve been hesitant. ACW has been around for 8 weeks now and I’ve been the same asshole I’ve always been. It’s time to cut that now. ACW is going to be around for awhile and so am I. So I guess the first thing we need is a champion. A real Champion.

The crowd erupts.

John: A real champion who wins without help from assholes like me. Who can defend the belt more than once a month
at a pay per view. I’m the king maker.

John looks out over the auidience as they eat it up.

John: I say the king is dead.

John raises his own hand high in the air.

John: Long live the king.

He leaves the ring the crowd screaming their head’s off “Money†by Pink Floyd begins to play but cuts to “ King Nothing†by Metallica

Later backstage.
John: Hey Guy, where’s Flairs room?

Guy: Four doors down from Phoenix. I don’t think he’s their though pretty sure he’s looking for you.

John: Thanks.

John walks up to Flairs dressing room ,gym bag in hand, looking around the hallway is pretty empty. He taps on the door quietly. No response. He taps again louder. Still no response. John checks the door to see if its locked. It opens immediately. John slips into the room looking around.

John: Nice to see the champ has the same mini fridge that I have.

John quickly spots what he’s been looking for the ACW World Heavyweight Championship proudly displayed at the bottom of Flairs locker. John tiptoes up to it glancing back at the door. He grabs the belt putting it into his gym bag before quickly putting it into his bag. John runs out of the room and heads for his car, all smiles.

The scene opened up with Syn walking out of Phoenix’s office, a bored look on his face as he thought about the “Conversation†he had had with Phoenix just a few moments ago. To put it mildly, she dealt out several severe punishments with the intent of “Teaching him the severity of his actionsâ€: She ordered him to pay a fine of $100,000, put him on behavioral probation for the foreseeable future, and is demanding that he be the one to pay for the medical bills of the stagehand he injured. And if he failed to comply with even one of these “Ordersâ€, he will be fired effective immediately. Syn chuckled darkly at the thought

Syn: You would think that after months of having to deal with me, that she would realize that I’m not wired to care about these things like normal employees.

Syn didn’t appear to care about being fired as much as Phoenix thought. As he had told her in their little argument several weeks ago, he could only be so lucky if she had the intestinal fortitude to fire him. His main focus was making sure his match with Flair went on as planned. Syn paused for a moment as he thought about it. He had said that he didn’t care about being World Champion and, at the time he said it, he didn’t. But now things had gotten FUN between he and Flair, and he wanted to keep it going. He had had a change of heart, and wanted to see the look of absolute horror in Flair’s eyes as Syn held his coveted title above his head in victory. Syn’s musings were put to a stop as he looked up and noticed a team of security, the same team that had accompanied Phoenix to the ring last week, standing in his way. Syn looks at them with a bored expression, before he finally spoke.

Syn: Can I help you?

One of the security guards stepped forward, glaring at Syn as he spoke.

Security Guard #1: We’re under orders to escort you from the premises following the show.

Syn just stared at him for a moment, before raising an eyebrow in obvious amusement at the statement.

Syn: I take it that you’re the one who is tasked with, uh, leading this little “missionâ€, are you not? (The Security Guard nods his head slowly) Ah, I see. So, let me ask you this –

Syn steps closer to the Security Guard, to where the two where now eye to eye.

Syn: - What happens if I choose not to go along with this, hmm?

The Security Guard’s gaze never leaves Syn’s as he speaks.

Security Guard #1: We’ve been asked to escort you from the building. How we do it and the level of force we use was never specified, which means we can get the job done however we see fit. (The Guard gives Syn a smirk that matches his own) So, the way I see it, you have one of two options: option one is that you come along quietly, no harm no foul and you leave in one piece.

The Guard begins to circle Syn, looking very confident. Syn’s expression doesn’t change as he continues to stare ahead.

Syn: And option two?

Security Guard #1: Option two is we drag you out of the building by that nice, multi-colored hair of yours, and should you resist any further…well, that’s up to imagination.

The Guard stops right in front of Syn, who is vaguely aware that the 4 security guards had moved a bit closer than they were before.

Security Guard #1: So, what’s it gonna be, option one or option two; The ball is in your court, little man, but I can assure you that we’re fine with ether one at the moment.

Syn just calmly looked around, not at all phased by the threat, before assuming a thinking pose.

Syn: Hmm, you drive a very hard bargain. Am I right in guessing that you won’t allow me to arm myself if I choose “Option Two

The Security Guard shakes his head no, confirming Syn’s guess. Syn just nods, before he looks up at the lights for a moment and gives a chilling smile.

Syn: Well, in that case, I believe that you’ll have your answer in 3…2……1.

Suddenly, the lights go out in the hallway, causing the security guards to all scream out. The sounds of screaming and confusion are then drowned out by the sound of shrill, insane laughter echoing throughout the hallway. The lights come back on moments later, and Syn had vanished from sight. The head Security Guard growled in frustration, before turning to look at the others.

Security Guard #1: Find him. I don’t care how, but find him dammit!

The Guards scattered in different directions in order to look for Syn, not noticing one of the doors in the hallway they were just in open slowly. Syn stepped out and sneered in the direction that he sees the Head Guard going.

Syn: Fool. If there’s one thing that I will ever take from the individual who trained me, it’s that you never play mind games against a master of the art. (Syn gives an evil smirk) No matter the circumstance, the master ALWAYS comes out on top.

Syn figured that staying in one spot while he was being hunted for was not a wise move, so he decided to head in the direction of the parking lot. He ducked behind a nearby production crate as he spotted one of the security guards passing by. He smirks, then breaks into a full sprint and makes it to the door that leads to the parking lot, opens it, and looks around before entering. Syn quickly looks around for his car, and spots it near the far side of the lot. He sighs in annoyance.

Syn: It can never be easy, can it?

Just as Syn said this, he heard a shout from inside, alerting him to the fact that the guards were now on their way to the parking lot. Syn was about to duck behind one of the nearby cars, but paused as he noticed a familiar sight of flaming red hair near one of the cars. It was Ashley Sparxxx, who was about to leave for the evening. Syn smirks slightly, before sneaking over to her car and gently grabbing her hand as she placed her key into the look on the driver’s side door. She quickly turned and gasped when she saw him, but Syn, still smirking, quiets her with a shushing motion, before ducking down next to her as the guards burst into the parking lot, looking around for Syn. The Head Security Guard walked forward from the group, before he noticed Ashley.

Security Guard #1: Miss Sparxxx, have you seen Syn pass through here? We’ve been ordered to keep an eye on him and escort him from the building following a meeting with Miss Phoenix. The sneaky little bastard managed to get away from us somehow.

The Guard looked at her, waiting for an answer, while Ashley pondered her options. She briefly considered outing Syn to the Guards, but for some reason unknown to her, she decided against it.

Ashley: N-no. I haven’t seen him. But his car is still here (Ashley points to the black and green Mustang GT that was parked further down from where she was) so I’d guess he’s still somewhere in the building.

The Guard looked at the vehicle, before cursing under his breath.

Security Guard #1: Dammit! He will NOT give me the slip! (The Guard turns to the others) Fan out and search the entire building, he doesn’t leave here without me knowing it, understood!

Guards: (As one) YES SIR!

The other guards rush back into the building, while the Head Guard stays behind and gives Ashley an appreciative nod.

Security Guard #1: Thank you for your help, Miss Sparxxx. Enjoy your evening.

The Guard rushed back into the building as Ashley gave a weak nod in reply, before she sighed. She quickly remembered that Syn was right next to her and looked down, only to find a pair of curious green eyes staring back at her as Syn sat there in a cross-legged position. Slowly, he pulled himself up and gave her a dark smile.

Syn: I suppose I should thank you for covering for me, but forgive me for being a bit curious. Why did you not turn me in?

Ashley blushed under the intense gaze, before shrugging her shoulders weakly. She herself didn’t really know why she didn’t turn Syn in, so what was she supposed to tell him? Syn dismissed it after a moment, before he walked over to his car. Syn got to the door and opened it, before hopping in, starting it, and speeding out of the parking lot. Syn began muttering to himself as he stopped at a stoplight.

Syn: Just a few more days. Just a few more days, and I get both of them in the ring. And this time, things WILL be different. I guarantee it. And then, I get Flair alllllllllllllll alone . Heheehehehehe. HA HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!

The light turned green and Syn sped off into the night, laughing maniacally as the camera fades to black.

Word Count: 2/2

Quality: 6/10 (Apostrophe, comma, and punctuation errors throughout the roleplay. Syntax needs to be improved. Grammar needs more improvement (i.e. "Right. And I did the same thing two weeks ago letting him know we were threw." "Threw" should be "through.") If you would like for me to list all of the problems, I could.)

Creativity: 9/10 (Spoken segments had a lot of creativity, whereas the actions were average.)

Relativity: 5/5 (All events and spoken segments were completely relevant.)

Environment: 5/5 (All of the characters within the roleplay interacted fairly well with their surroundings. However, such surroundings could be given a tad more detail as not to make things vague. Despite the suggestion, the requirements were fulfillled.)

Character Development: 5/5 (The character is the same John McHenry we've come to know and acts as such.)

Bonus: 0/2 (Bonuses are given at the grader's discretion.)

Total: 32/37

Overall, fairly well-written. Primetime, I would suggest putting your roleplay through a spellchecker to make sure your grammar and syntax are correct. Otherwise, besides adding a tad bit more detail and breaking these three scenes into three seperate roleplays, your roleplay was a great roleplay.

LOL exactly. I really don't see the problem with us using this. It would be far more efficient than how we currently perform.

But if he'd asked I would have told him anyway. That's what we're trying to emphasize. I may even have written an analysis like that and PM'ed it to him.

Let's be honest, it's easier to just have it posted as before the results go out. I see that you're trying to add emphasis on the results here, but that's not the best way. I wouldn't want to play PM tag to find out why I lost. And when I say PM tag, I mean deal with the time zone differences. I'd hate to have to wait to know why I lost or won.

I still think it's not that difficult to just tell me within one of these topics.
