Adam Rose, the former Leo Kruger ladies and gentlemen. So he's been in developmental now for 4 years so you would imagine this is a sink or swim kinda deal for him. Really surprised that they're debuting him so soon after this new gimmick change, so they must be pretty confident of it working.

Personally I don't like this gimmick from the bits and bats I've seen of it on NXT but I'm willing to give it a little run see how it goes but I'm not confident in it at all.

Oh wow, I did not realize this dude was Kruger. I've only seen one match by him and it was pretty meh but that fucking entrance was awesome. I hope it's successful because the theme song is so catchy.

I liked Kruger, so when they changed his gimmick I didn't see the potential. But i've enjoyed the new gimmick so far, the only shame is they couldn't get the rights to the World Goes Wild song by Above Envy. That was a perfect fit for his new character, and the new one isn't.

But hopefully the new gimmick will get over with the WWE Universe. I was surprised when they aired the video package on Raw, as I think he probably could do with spending more time in NXT developing the Adam Rose character, like Bray Wyatt did before he got called up.

I'm an Adam Rose mark. I just wish he'd put on some weight in the gym... especially with the lariat... but he added the elbow drop so that should help.

Is he a rock star? Some party douche? Like a Russell Brand character? Like I said previously, seems a bit of a dated if so, 2008 probably would've been prime for that kind of character.

Definitely not a rock star, I'd probably go with party douche.

Agreed that it's dated and honestly I just think there's too many samey samey midcard gimmicks about. I get that not everybody can be a main eventer but i'm sick of these lame gimmicks that are never going to go anywhere like Brodus/3MB/Fandango/Sweet T/Truth/Xavier etc

Agree that there's already so many people on the roster like him. So many gimmicks these days seem to be dancing or rock star related. Although I guess it's been like that for years.

I see him failing pretty fast.

So I was finally able to watch the video. I like it. I don't know if I see him main eventing, but he could be a decent mid carder.

Not everyone has to be thought of as maineventer, some people are just utility players. Not everyone gets to be the quarterback, we do need some linemen to make the quarterback look good.

I don't get how he's "generic rock star" to you all. He has a gimmick that the live crowd has gotten behind... he has one of the coolest entrances I've ever personally seen. He isn't a rock star, he's a party animal and he likes to dance around. For all the talk of this gimmick being 7 years too late, he sure as Hell has received a very warming response to it so far. He also works his matches incredibly, involving the crowd... plays mind-games with his rope-rest. Truth be told, he reminds me a lot of a younger Shawn Michaels right now... except he's not the douchebag bad guy, he's the douchebag crowd favorite. I've bought into it. I'm looking forward to what he can do moving forward. And I don't agree that he can't be a main event talent... he'll just have to work out, hopefully get himself in the kind of shape Seth Rollins is now in.
