Anthony Bowens Wants A '5-Second Scissor' Or 'Live Scissor Celebration' With Adam Copeland
Anthony Bowens talks Adam Copeland arriving in All Elite Wrestling.
Adam Copeland, formerly known as Edge in WWE, arrived in AEW at AEW WrestleDream. For the first time since 1998, Copeland is wrestling outside the world of WWE, and with the AEW locker room, there comes a wealth of talent that grew up watching Edge and is excited to create new memories with him.
Anthony Bowens was recently interviewed by Baby Huey of the In The Kliq podcast and when discussing Copeland's AEW debut, Bowens says he hopes to one day have a "5-second scissor" or "live scissor celebration" with the Rated-R Superstar.
"I'm excited, man. You can see the energy that guy brings and you see how excited the fans were, the company, and everybody out there is just as excited. Hopefully, we get opportunities to make some memories with Adam in the ring. You know, a '5-second scissor,' a 'live scissors celebration,' there's so many things we can do with him. Of course, I'd love to get into the ring and square up with him one day. So I'm very excited to have Adam, and I can't wait to see what all unfolds."
Before Copeland was officially All Elite, Bowens expressed his excitement to scissor with Copeland and Christian.
Adam Copeland will be a full-time wrestler for AEW, with this likely being his last full-time run as a wrestler.
Anthony Bowens and Max Caster currently work very closely with another Attitude Era legend, Billy Gunn. Gnun recently stated that he can't go anywhere without people wanting to scissor him.
