There's hackers and glitchers on every game. Does that make it a bad game? Nope.

The campaign on CoD4 is what got people into the franchise and made people buy the next one. From their people were just hooked like heroin.. MW3 and BO2 campaigns suck dick. They're all the same now, repeated just in a different manner.

Have you even played the Black Ops 2 campaign? Nothing about it repeats itself besides the fact that Mason is a character in it. Everything about the campaign is totally different and a lot better. MW3 continues on from the other two modern warfares. It can't really repeat itself. Kind of like a television series. Lol

Completely agree, been saying this for years.

I got CoD4 as soon as it came out, I was on my laptop looking for new shooter games and it got rave reviews. I got it and completed the campaign, then like a week later traded it in because there was literally no one online.

About 2 months later my friend tells me that I should get it, and I'm like 'I've already "clocked it" :lol1:' - And he says that it's massive online now so I bought it again. From that point on people don't even think about buying it, it's just like a habit for them (a bit like FIFA is for me).

If CoD4 wasn't as great as it was, Activision and Treyarch wouldn't be as vast as they are now. But people are like 'OMG BO2 best game ever zombies win yayayayayaya'

Sooo people have been saying a lot of stuff, and I know I haven't been quite the honest person at all. I really didn't used to be like that earlier on in the forum. I actually used to be really helpful and active before. Not to mention all the members I upgraded, though @Seabs upgraded me haha. The only thing I can do is apologize to all of you guys who I have really annoyed. Not going to make excuses and deny any of it because it's true :okay:

All I would like to say is I'm sorry for being pretty douchey and hope I can start over with the newer members, and those members that I haven't really had the chance to get to know.. Danielson, deth, Brita, Senhor, Crayo.... etc.. Well, not really Crayo lol.

Again, sorry guys. I'll try to be a bit more active, but with college and basketball and Black Ops 2, I kind of don't use the internet that much anymore.

I don't care what you've done. It's about what you DO moving forward in life that matters. The past is the past and I don't know you well so we're cool.

I'm not saying the story in that game repeats itself, but the campaign from every game is now just a repeat, in a different scenery.

The developers are so lazy and produce a shit campaign because 1) they know people are going to buy the game no matter what and 2) they know that most people buy it to play multiplayer.

CoD5 was a decent game, got a decent amount of play time out of that as I hadn't played a lot of CoD4. Zombies were awesome but aside from that didn't even have the energy to prestige, just so damn tedious.

As for the new one, got it bought for me for Christmas - played two online games and 1 game of Zombies and got bored. Literally no difference from the old ones.

That's actually true. It only takes one game to get people hooked to it, but that doesn't make the following games worse by any means. Look at how successful World at War became. More people bught World at War and gave better reviews than they did with Modern Warfare. MW was a great game though none the less, just not the best. I hated MW2 and loved MW3 except for the maps. Black Ops was interesting but Zombies sucked, and Black Ops 2 is spetacular all around. Not one bad thing about it so far except for the fact that Xbox gets their DLC a month before PS3 users.

That's the only game (along with BO2) I didn't buy because I played the campaign at a friends house and everything felt shit. The camera angles were strange and I just didn't like it.

I could honestly give a flying fuck about zombies. I don't get the craze. I mean, I like zombie/horror films but I don't see the pinash about killing 'nazi zombies' on a game. I guess some people are just addicted. One friend who is in my college class literally lives on zombies. It's all he talks about. He's up all night on it, HE LOOKS LIKE A FUCKING ZOMBIE when he comes into college on a morning. *get a life* :facepalm1:

Actually, CoD4 has 13million sales, WaW only has 10.5million. Call of Duty: Black Ops is the best selling CoD game with 25million sales.

Not to mention all these awards... WaW didn't get a single one.

Cod 4 was pretty enjoyable from what I remember.
Same with MW2, but MW3 was really bad.

I'd go like this
COD 5
COD BO2
COD MW3
COD BO
COD MW
COD MW2

(Based off of my personal gameplay of course)
Call of Duty 2 got me hooked on Call of Duty in general.
