JBL won the IC title from CM Punk on the March 9th 2009 Episode of Raw. He lost the Title to Rey Mysterio at Wrestlemania XXV on April 5th 2009.

Ricky Steamboat won the IC title from Randy Savage at Wrestlemania III on March 29th 1987. He lost to the Title to the Honky Tonk Man on the June 13th 1987 Superstars of Wrestling.

Voted for JBL because this made him a Grand Slam champion. Not a club anyone can get into.

Steamboat by a country mile, one my all time favorites and the match with Savege has to be one of the great IC Titles matches ever. I'd forgotten that JBL had even won the title.

Both reigns were short but Steamboat gets my vote. By that stage JBL was finished whereas Steamboat had some memorable moments as IC champion.

Surprised this is so close. JBL used the belt to cap off his career. Steamboat won it in a classic and really put Honky over by losing to him. He was a nobody heel at the time. He would then go on to the greatest heel title run ever.
