Ron Killings

Ron Killings won the NWA title from Ken Shamrock on August 7th 2002 at TNA Weekly PPV #8. He lost the title to Jeff Jarrett on November 20th 2002 at TNA Weekly PPV #22. He won his second NWA title from AJ Styles in a four way match also involving Raven and Chris Harris on May 19th 2004 at TNA Weekly PPV #95. He lost the title to Jarrett on June 2nd 2004 in a King of The Mountain Match also involving AJ Styles, Raven, and Chris Harris and TNA Weekly PPV#97.

Dan Severn

Dan Severn won the NWA title from Chris Candido on February 24th 1995 in Erlanger, KY. He lost the title to Naoya Ogawa on March 14th 1999 in Yokohama, Japan. He won his second NWA title from Shinya Hashimoto on March 9th 2002 in Tokyo, Japan. He was stripped of the title for failing to defend it in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling on May 28th 2002.

Severn is a good MMA fighter... but his crossover to wrestling just didn't ... it just lacked. Killings... man alive.

Yeah he was more respected but... I dunno... what was it that Severn needed to really click?

Even though it was in TNA Killings winning the NWA title was kind of a big deal and I didn't really get to see Dan's runs so Killings.

No I have never been a big fan of Killings. I would say his current heel character is the high point of his career. Why are you so shocked? Two NWA Titles are supposed to be a big deal and Killings was very much a mid-card act.

I would say he was more uppermid while in TNA. Then when he came back to WWE he was in the midcard... but finally is starting his way back up again.
