Steiner won the US title on April 11th 1999 at Spring Stampede by defeating Booker T in a tournament final. He was stripped of the title by WCW president Ric Flair on the July 5th 1999 Nitro. He won his 2nd title by defeating Sting in a tournament Final on April 16th 2000 at Spring Stampede. He was stripped of the title when he used the banned Steiner Recliner on Mike Awesome at Bash at The Beach on July 9th 2000.

Jarrett won the US title from Dean Malenko on the June 9th 1997 Nitro. He lost the title to Steve McMichael at Clash of The Champions XXXV on August 21st 1997. He won his 2nd title from Chris Benoit on the December 20th 1999 Nitro in a Ladder Match. He cacated the title due to injury on January 16th 2000 at Souled Out. He was awarded the title the ne0078t night on Nitro by WCW commissioner Kevin Nash. He vacated the title on the April 10th 2000 Nitro to Bischoff and Russo.

It was a hard one to chose, but end the end, I prefer Jeff over Steiner. Close one for me though.

I went with Jarrett because he was always a solid mid-card heel and did more as champion than Steiner.

I can't stand either guy either. Both were over-rated egomaniacs but in the end I went with JJ because I think he did more as champion.
