He lost the title back on February 21st 2010 at Elimination Chamber in an Elimination Chamber match also involving Triple H, Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase and Kofi Kingston. He won the title back on June 20th 2010 at Fatal Four Way in a match also involving Randy Orton and Edge. He lost the title to Orton on September 19th 2010 at Night of Champions in a Six Pack Challenge Elimination Match also involving Edge, John Cena, Chris Jericho, and Wade Barrett.

Masahiro Chono won the vacant NWA title by defeating Rick Rude in a tournament final on August 12th 1992 in Tokyo, Japan. He lost the title to The Great Muta on January 4th 1993 at WCW/ New Japan Supershow.
