2023-24 WS Fantasy Basketball Signups & Discussion Thread

Since the NBA Season starts October 24th, that means that it's time to start up the WS Fantasy Basketball League for the 2023-24 season~!!!

Last season, @Cwalker defeated the reigning champion John 2,864-2,787 to be crowned the 2022-23 WS Fantasy Basketball Champion, adding a trophy to his case. With the new season upon us, he'll be defending his championship against all comers, old and new, in this exciting season of both the NBA and you guess it... fantasy basketball! Do you have what it takes to take the crown from the reigning champion, Cwalker? Is your team good enough to rise above all competitors ahead of you? DO YOU WANT THAT SMOKE~?!!! If so...

Here's the rules and breakdown:

- This is a 10-person league. One spot's reserved for Chris' friend John,
since he's not part of this forum. I'll let you guys know if he's playing or not.

- You must be a full-time member on this forum.

- You set your starting lineup daily to accumulate points against your opponents.

- The most points against your opponent, the winner, plain and simple.

- One minor change, is that the bench is reduced from 6 to 5.

- Everything else remains unchanged.

Draft Day will be on October 21st at 6:30 PM ET. I wanted to make sure we can do the draft before AEW Collision that Saturday night. If you want me to reschedule it to a sooner time, please let me know.

I'm bumping this thread because surprisingly, no replies lol. But, there's still plenty of time to join.

You've got me Doom. I think I've never won a Basketball League Championship with Smarks consider it a major challenge for me to achieve.

Ladies & Gentlemen, I've reduced the league to 8 teams. Adapt, Chris and Worst Player Ever won't be returning to play in this league.

I'm also mentioning those in the league: @Wiseman @Mitch Buchannon @Jam, to remind them that they're already in. If you don't want to play, please let me know.

There's also a vacant spot for anybody who wants to play.

And the draft's in nine days, as it's on October 21 at 6:30 PM ET.

Ladies & Gentlemen.

I hate to announced that a lack of interest in fantasy basketball, there will be no fantasy basketball league for the 2023-24 NBA season. I really do want it to be a reality to keep fantasy sports alive, but not this time. I want to thank the ones that wants to continue on with the league. Unfortunately, this is not the year. I do hope that the league will be revived for the 2024-25 season, but it's yet to be determined. I'm sorry y'all.
