-Tampa is staying at 1 obviously
-If I'm running Nashville, I don't even CONSIDER trading. The pick must be Mariota. But, I've gotta admit this is a likely trade-down since you don't become 2-14 by knowing what you're doing
-Makes a ton of sense for Jacksonville to trade down for a bunch of reasons, between the logical (try to get an OT, helping Blake Bortles) and lol Jacksonville (We signed Jared Odrick! We don't need a pass rusher now!)
-Oakland can do plenty of things, actually. If they stay at 4 it's awesome because yay Leonard Williams. If they trade down, yay Amari Cooper. It'll take real talent at being a dumbass to screw this up, Wedgie.
-Washington will likely stay at 5 me thinks. Run on pass-rushers continue. Could trade back for a OT I guess
-Jets could easily trade up for Mariota. They could take a DE. Don't see a trade-down
-Bears stay at 7. Should be a DE or White/Cooper there.
-Seems too plausible for the Falcons to pull a HUGE move. They can be the team to jump up to #3, or can fall back to #14, or anywhere in between. Guarantee if they take Todd Gurley they'll have their season tickets sold by day 3
-NYG should stay at 9 and take literally any superstar player they want. Good luck!
-St. Louis... I'd almost expect a trade-up but it depends on Jacksonville. Most expect Brandon from Iowa to be the best OT on the board by leaps and bounds, so they should be doing everything they can to grab him. May need to jump past the Giants
-Minnesocold should find a corner or DT or maybe even running back at 11. Oughta be a nice "top player" available at a not-as-premium position
-Cleveland doesn't matter lol. Trade both picks for Mariota? Eh, maybe. Could be a cool trade down spot or something, w/e. Whoever they take sucks
-Saints stay put snag a falling prospect or one of these mid-round guys. Seems like those hit more than the first rounders these days, who's to say Malcolm Brown is worse than that Washington dude
-Miami is moving. They really want DeVante Parker. If they can't snag Parker, they'll see about a lesser receiver. Phins should easily be able to wave Todd Gurley in someone's face.
-I almost wanna put the 69ers in the Browns spot of "it doesn't matter lol". No idea what they'll do as they suddenly need everything. Big trade-back for a MLB? Can you draft a new owner?
-Texans could move, but just a little bit. Enough to grab one of the WR's or CB's around that area and make sure they get their guy so Ryan Mallett has every chance to succeed after CSIII gets injured again

and there's your first half of rambling lol.

Eagles attempted to trade Matt Barkley to the Dolphins before the Phins signed Josh Freeman... and Barkley is most likely still on the chopping block, especially with the signing of Tim Tebow.

Just thought this was interesting. @Sharpy

It's hard to make a trade with a team when they don't want to give you anything.. Barkley's value is a 7th rounder at best, he's definitely on the block still, Kinne is our Practice Squad QB, Tebow will probably end up making the team.

Maybe i don't get this shit as a Brit (you know out of the loop for football stuff), AP seems like he don't wanna be a vike yet from what i have seen there aint that much interest in him, i get he is getting older, but jeez the man is a freak as well, don't understand why a 'top tier' team isn't showing interest in him, a fit and good Ap at the Pats, that just destroys everyone else (if they have cap room, which i assume they do now)
First round picks are incredibly valuable. You get (theoretically) a top talent on a super cheap contract for at least 5 seasons.

Adrian Peterson is being paid like not only the top RB in the league, but by a WIDE margin. He is due to make around 14 million per season for the next 3 seasons.

So you are trading a cheap, valuable asset in a first round pick for a player who you are paying for his career production rather than the production you can realistically expect from Peterson once he gets to your team. You pay him 14 million because in 2012 he played like a 14 million dollar back. Would you get that same back in 2015? I say not very likely.

He has 2,200 career NFL touches. I realize Peterson is a freak, but it is inevitable he is going to be slowing down now that he is on the wrong side of 30

Peterson also has a long list of injuries he has battled throughout his career. I can only speculate, but that won't be getting better with age, likely worse.

Now, factor in the fact that he missed nearly all of last season. Not even talking about off-field issues, simply pointing out that missing an ENTIRE season is horrible for your career. He wasn't around the team. He wasn't practicing. He wasn't rehabbing. He was out of football mode and dealing with entirely different issues. Now he has to come back and flip that switch and try to play the most physical position in sports. Again, another sign I don't like.

And allllll of the aforementioned issue are before we even get to the child abuse or sex scandals, not to mention he is now viewed as a locker room problem because he is trying to force his way out of Minnesota even though realistically the Vikings have done nothing wrong here.

Also, the Pats don't have the cap space to bring in Peterson. The contending team you are thinking of is Dallas. I think Jerry wants to make it happen but Stephen Jones is (once again) saving Jerruh from himself.

If you are a RB-needy team right now, would you honestly rather trade your 2015 first for a few years of expensive ass Adrian Peterson rental or draft a guy like Gurly and have him for the prime of his career on a rookie contract? Easy decision for me.

Schedules are out and shit!!!

Wonder if teams are allowed to just stay in a hotel on the other coast if they have multple games there. At Denver (LETS DO THIS!) at Oakland to start the season.

December 6... mark your calendar. So should Tannehill. :tough:

Miami has games against every team in the NFC East. Should be an interesting year.

J Smith inked a 4 yr extension w/ the Ravens for $48mil.
Antonio Brown could be leaning towards holding out for a bigger contract.
Adrian Wilson retires.
Apparently Nate Solder had testicular cancer in one testicle last year and had it removed before it spread, he was still able to go apart of their super bowl run.

I've heard of teams staying in the area if they have back to back games across the country rather than flying home in between. I know if I were a coach that is how I would do it.

10 game suspension for Greg Hardy, hopefully for the Cowboys he maintains shape and keeps working out hard so he can come back during the last part of the season and playoffs should they make it.

UPDATE: NFLPA will appeal the suspension.
