Holy crap did Samardjiza pitch a hell of a game. He gave up 3 runs, 2 unearned and those were in the ninth when Castro made an errant throw and kept the game going. They brought Marmol in, in the ninth to get the final out and he made it interesting again. He walked Werth and was wild to Nady before getting Nady to pop it up.

In LaHairs first start he roped a couple of doubles and looked pretty good at the plate.

It's been a good first 11 games for the Mets at 7-4. I have to talk about them now because it's probably not going to last.

I never though that the Indians,Orioles, and Dodgers(I'm glad Matingly is doing well) would be leading their divisions. I also never thought the Phillies would be 1 game over .500.
