It was alright. Not nearly as good as their OTL match. Solid ***1/4 match though.

Only US wrestling? Well, that sucks.

The best thing I've seen this year is LA Park vs El Mesias (Hair vs Mask from TripleMania). Yup, Judas Mesias and LA Parka have had the best match this year.

As for the US...

1) Christian vs Randy Orton (Over The Limit)

The only good thing to come out of this shitty PPV. These guys have great chemistry with one another, and this was just another example of this (Their previous match on SD was pretty damn good too). Loved the nod to the finish of the first match with Christian going for the same move that cost him the title... And Orton decided to bust out the Billy Goat's Curse for some reason, so I can't complain >_>.

2) Smackdown's Elimination Chamber (EC 2011) AKA Mysterio kills himself for our enjoyment.

The match that made me care about Drew McIntyre, to be honest. Just great performances from everyone involved, with Rey once again stealing the show. Drew looked like a beast from head-butting the pod in anticipation, to throwing Rey like a lawn dart into one of the pods (Shades of Kevin Nash!), this SHOULD have been Drew's break-out performance, but it unfortunately lead to nothing... About the only bad thing about this match.

I'll add some more later, including a match from Superstars which featured... Chris Masters! Wait, wut?

I wasn't a huge fan of Orton/Christian. It was solid, but given their previous two matches, I thought it was pretty disappointing.

I don't think I liked Davey/Edwards as much as you. I'd probably give it ***1/2, but I'd have to watch it again. The ending was awesome though.

Yeah, ending was awesome. I've seen tons of people say it was *****, but nah. Not that good. Still excellent though.

You can throw in the 4 way from Destination X in there now as well. TWO MOTY CANDIDATES FROM TNA? Holy shit.

Nice list Peep.

I enjoyed that 4 way as well...however a little off from a MOTYC.

My favorite match halfway through the year, is somewhat of a surprise pick, and not ranked on many list. It's Eddie Edwards vs. Roderick Strong for the ROH title from Manhattan Mayhem 4. To me, it was everything Edwards/Richards was and then some.

It hasn't finished yet, but I'm nominating Punk-Cena for the drama alone.

So, so close. Not quite Taker-Trips, but as a whole, definitely 4 1/2 stars. So awesome that an internet darling like Punk had his best match given to him by the person the IWC despises most. Anyone who thinks Cena can't work, despite the overwhelming evidence that not only he can, that he is one of the best, needs to pull their heads out of their asses. Good shit and a sure fire candidate.

"pifff!...pllleeeasssee! Cm Punk Carried Cena!"

(pops enzo in the head with a microphone)

but seriously, like on a top ten list (so far), is it in the top 5 or top 3?

Punk/Cena > Taker/HHH. There was drama all over that match from Punk kissing his mom to Punk reversing the STF to Punk literally leaving with the title. Taker/HHH is hyped up because it was Mania.

rofl, I absolutely love the HHH/Taker match, but go kill yourself. If that's not *****, nothing is.
