2009 Predictions Thread

1. someone wins the world title for the first time in h is career
2. kurt angle comes back
3. dynasty breaks up before the end of the year.
4. jeff hardy's attacker option A: triple h, turning him heel.
5. jeff hardy's attacker option B: christian...which is gonna lead to him vs hardy at mania leaving edge to fight someone else in a huge match.
6. HBK vs JBL at mania for the title. hbk wins, he's the world champ but gets fired by JBL and maybe meaning he retires.
7. christian comes back
8. RVD comes back
9. undertakers streak does not end
10. batista turns heel
11. eve poses for playboy
12. rock shows up at mania
13. jericho drafted or moved to smackdown
14. orton vs austin (team vince vs team stephanie sort of). vince helps austin win, then austin stuns him and the rest eventually.
15. dolph zigler wins the IC belt
16. kelly kelly wins the women's title
17. chris masters returns
18. trish vs phoenix at mania
19. new general manager for smackdown
20. edge gets injured

dont wanna say hbk's winning the rumble i think he will. mvp's still an option to me. i've been thinking about the stipulation for a couple of weeks and it goes like this: we see jbl at the rumble telling hbk that if he wins the title later that night, he can go to the rumble. hbk screws cena out of the title, enters the rumble match later on then wins. frm there, it could go to prediction #6.

PS im almost willing to bet orton's not winning the rumble..

#6 still isn't out. hbk could help jbl win at no way out in teh EC match. 4 and 5 aren't 100% out either, just 99%

pretty sure 4 & 5 are out for you but your 7 is still stong.

its not the only one. 20, 19, 16, 11 and 9 are strong too .

i should've placed that jbl/hbk RR segment as a prediction...damn.

well I was thinking more in the forseeable future. Most likely number 7 will happen sooner then later as opposed to the others.

You'd probably get like 1-2 points or something like that priceless. I'm a pretty fair grader. Depends how many people said that, and the fact it wasn't really a far-out prediction.

hoping that I can get in on this even though the deadline has passed, If not hen cool, there's always next year.

1: Batista will turn heel this year.
2: Batista will become heavyweight champ on Raw by Survivor Series.
3: John Cena will get reinjured and need surgery AGAIN.
4: Mr. Kennedy will be released.
5: Matt Hardy will face Jeff Hardy at Mania in a no DQ match and Lita will return to support Matt.
6: The Rock will return to the WWE to participate in Mania
7: The Macho Man will be inducted into the HOF this year
8: CM Punk will be the IC champ for the ENTIRE YEAR
9: MVP will become US Champ by the end of the year
10: Triple H will be Champ 2x's this year
11: Edge will come to Raw in the Draft and divorce Vicky
12: John Cena will go to Smackdown in the Draft
13: The Undertakers streak will end at Mania
14: John Morrison will win the MITB
15: Golddust will become Dustin Rhodes to feud with Cody Rhodes and Dusty will be involved (as a heel on Cody's side)
16: Matt Stryker will get drafted to Raw to announce.
17: Summerslam Main Event will be Batista vs. Orton (C) for WHC
18: Survivor Series will have Team Legacy vs. Team Evolution
19: Ried Flair will join the Legacy
20: Hulk Hogan will be at Wrestlemania (a guy can dream right????)

how are you gonna count the guys who predicted rvd to be in the rumble when it was an almost confirmed spoiler? i honestly didn't read anything in the spoilers section but regardless, you shouldn't give more than a point for shit that was based on a spoiler or a rumor.

Relax. There are rumors and spoilers on everything. When i look and see how many predicted it, then i will figure out how much they get. I didn't see any spoilers on it. So when i get aroudn to grading these, it will be a fair. He won't get a 1 point, and he's probably not going to get a 5 if he predicted it a day or two before the rumble.
