2009 Predictions Thread

01. JBL deploys HBK to end Takers streak @ WM25 only for Taker to prevail.

02. HBK to wear world title in 09.

03. Tag titles unified.

04. CM Punk has a 2nd world title reign; this time as a heel.

05. SD world title vacant by the time we reach WM25.

06. Edge becomes the first heel to win the world title @ WM.

07. ...and goes on to hold a total of 3 world titles during 09.

08. Kurt Angle to return to WWE by end of year.

09. The IC-title will finally regain much of it's prestige and become featured a lot more on TV.

10. MVP to capture another mid-card title whilst a world title reign continues to elude him.

11. Cena (and, upon return, Batista) to fued with Legacy throughout the majority of 09.

12. ...Resulting in Cena or Batista blaming the other for a loss and turn full-blown heel (See above).

13. Jeff Hardy does not win another world title this year (once his current reign ends).

14. Hornswaggle & Khali have a tag title run.

15. Matt Hardy holds onto the ECW title until N.O.Champions.

16. By June, neither Manu nor Snuka will be part of Legacy.

17. Hurricane Helms & D.Diggler to fued over a mid-card title.

18. Batista to win world title @ one of the last 2 PPVs of the year.

19. Hogan/Austin-esque legend wrestles a match @ WM25.

20. No actual storylines revolving around Vince in 2009 (***Not counting another $million giveaway should they have one).

2. Orton and Cena will go back and forth with the World title. (Orton beats Cena, Cena wins it back, Orton beats him again etc.)

3. Batista will turn on Rey, thus going heel.

6. HBK vs JBL at mania for the title. hbk wins, he's the world champ but gets fired by JBL and maybe meaning he retires.

13. jericho drafted or moved to smackdown
14. orton vs austin (team vince vs team stephanie sort of). vince helps austin win, then austin stuns him and the rest eventually.

18. trish vs phoenix at mania
19. new general manager for smackdown

dont wanna say hbk's winning the rumble i think he will. mvp's still an option to me. i've been thinking about the stipulation for a couple of weeks and it goes like this: we see jbl at the rumble telling hbk that if he wins the title later that night, he can go to the rumble. hbk screws cena out of the title, enters the rumble match later on then wins. frm there, it could go to prediction #6.

PS im almost willing to bet orton's not winning the rumble..
