WrestleMania 17 Potential Matches!? ARE THEY TRYING TO KILL US!?

Last year we had 14 matches... Which is a lot. Adding another 3 to this can easily add another hour or more to the show. WTF are they thinking? Yes, Wrestlemania is a big event and only happens once a year... But WTF Vince!? Some of us can't sit still this long. Some of us have other things going on in our day. Some of us have cats to feed!... I mean kids to feed! I am a fan of the phrase less is more and it doesn't seem like WWE got that memo.

They have too many wrestlers now. There. I said it. I liked when RAW was 2 hours. I liked when they had just enough wrestlers to keep in a fresh rotation. Now there are just too damn many. Storylines get rushed. Feuds get pushed too quickly into major matches. I hate it. This is the biggest reason I don't even bother watching anymore. I watch Wrestlemania and the Royal Rumble. That is it. At this point, I question why I even bother with those. There is just too much.

Wwe writers must find it hard to run a wrestling show when there is about a million people getting pushed and a million people making their debut.

At this point, WWE would benefit from making Wrestlemania a Two-Night thing with two normal length shows each night.


Or just stop trying to sign every wrestler on planet earth and have a normal sized roster and show. Even with the brand split, it is too much. (And the last one they still had a balance).

They've been planning to make Wrestlemania be spread across two days (in a 2-part format) for the past few years. I feel like this is phase two so they can use it as part of the explanation why a 2-day Wrestlemania is "part of the natural progression of such a fantastic and spectacular phenomena like Wrestlemania."

When I think of WrestleMania this is the first thing that comes to mind. Not the memories over the years, not the biggest wrestling show of the year, just a long ass show that never ends

I don't mind the show being the longest of all the shows but making this be a two day event or even making the main portion of the PPV be longer than 4 hours is insanity. I won't watch most of it if it gets too long. If it wasn't for the LD, I probably would watch like an hour of it. At least you all make it fun and bearable when it is getting boring or feeling dragged out.

The whole vibe of Wrestlemania gets diluted because of this in my opinion. I hate the fact that WWE's approach is basically to somehow get the whole entire roster on the card. They always call Wrestlemania their "Super Bowl" or "World Series" but the fact of the matter is that only the best teams make it to those games, and so should only the best Wrestlers make it on the card of Wrestlemania. I personally believe they should have a 10 match limit. The main event is supposed to be the most important position on the card, but if you have a 6 hour wrestling show, then no one cares by the time the main event rolls around.

I don't get what y'all are bitching about. Mania is the most important show of the year, it can be as long as they want it to be, especially if it means giving more stories to work with down the line. I guarantee that if the next Star Wars movie was 7 1/2 hours long, none of the nerds would be complaining. So why complain about wrestling, when all it means is that there will be more top caliber stars giving more top caliber matches?

They do need an hour interval during the show. Also start the show really early in the day.
The crowd die during parts of the show. Triple H vs Batista may very well drain the crowd.

Quality over quantity. Its the same situation as Raw being 3 hours long.

Oh and the Last Jedi (the longest Star Wars movie) sucked
