According to Box Office Mojo, John Cena's 12 Rounds did an estimated $1,750,000 at the box office last night, putting it in sixth place on the current movie list. In comparison, The Marine drew $2,366,981 on its opening day, finishing with $7,138,774 for the weekend; See No Evil drew $1,681,241 on its opening day, finishing with $4,581,233; and The Condemned drew $1,333,622 on its opening day, finishing with $3,807,595. On the plus side, 12 Rounds beat out Dwayne Johnson's Race To Witch Mountain by an estimated $250,000.

Im not suprised, it looked like a crappy Hulk Hogan type action movie. The Rock's movie looked half way decent.

Umm wow that is a Blue comparison... "Oh 12 rounds beats Race to Witch Mountain by 250,000 even though Race to Witch Mountain has been out for a week or two later and was #1 in the box office making over 25 million on its opening weekend while 12 rounds is a "flop" WTF!?!"

There is no plus side, there's just a contradiction.

People should stop giving Cena credit he doesn't deserve.

Without the WWE there wouldn't even have been sales, nor would it have been produced, but what I mean is that the only people who watch it are Cena fans.

The numbers comparison doesn't make sense. Twelve Rounds is a "flop" but it has grossed higher payout than See No Evil AND The Condemned on opening night? I mean sure in comparison to other movies its considered a flop but using WWE's own theater releases makes 12 Rounds seem flattering in comparison and success for WWE's notoriously bad movies.

Thats what i was about to say. Plus it doesn't seems like the wwe is shoving this movie down our throats like the past releases.

It's beenm what? 30 hours? Who cares. Cena isn't exactly Brad Pitt. People aren't gonna rush to the movie theatre to see him FIRST. It'll probably do better numbers in the coming days, but obviously people are going to se the big hollywood stars first.
Oh, and by the way. The amount of people that see the movie doens't mean anything about how good the movie is. I've seen plenty of movies with big obx offices that sucked.

On a side note... Gan, when you post news, can you post the site you got it from in your post, like everyone else does? Just so that we all know where you found the details.
