I mean come on Axel Rose? Really? Best thing about GnR is Slash (wait, he was in GnR wasn't he?), don't get me wrong, I know they was huge and all that, but me personally I just don't get the appeal.

*Axl Rose. And yes he was, and he is good, but it was Izzy Stradlin that made GnR who they were. And if you didn't get the appeal fine, but they are still one of the biggest bands in Hard Rock history.

Rhythm guitarist, he's the one who wrote lots of their songs. He writes more towards rock and roll sounding music now though.

If you like metal, I'd recommend giving Gojira a listen, they sing a lot about global warming etc but the songs are epic. I'd also defiantly recommend Therapy, but they are not as heavy as Gojira.
