The Shawn Michaels Appreciation Thread
23 years ago tonight was SummerSlam 1997 which I attended with my dad. Shawn didn't wrestle but was the special ref for the Bret/Taker Title match. It was a good match, but dragged on alittle bit as I think it went like 33 mins or something. Shawn's antics during the match definitely helped...- Showstopper

Yes, I've heard nothing but great things about it. My best friend's older brother says it's his favorite TV show ever. I'm interested in seeing it. Amazing how many good series HBO has had.- Showstopper

OZ Season 1 Note: Just a heads up, but both Oz and The Wire are on sale on Youtube for $29.99 each. I just purchased both of them and watched the first season of Oz. Can't beat that sale, though. Each show is 6 seasons, so it's 5 bucks per season. Can't beat that!- Showstopper

My dad hated wrestling. He took to me SummerSlam 1997, right before the main event, he said he couldnt take it anymore and sat in the car in the parking lot and waited for me until the match was done. This is in a 20K seat NBA arena and I'm 14. Safe to say he really hated it lol- Showstopper
