    The Wrestling Revolver

Well, Marina is pretty regular in Revolver, so I could see that happening for sure

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

Yeah, I just thought we were splitting it by name at that moment.

That's kinda generally the era I wanted to establish but I was out voted

How does he even fit in their shit, I feel like he's 6 inches taller than The Bucks

Glad we settled that democratically. Commie Sky will probably refuse to accept this outcome though.

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

Well now I have even more beef with the label of post-Omega because I'm now realizing/remembering that Omega didn't even have a match in Impact until 2021 :DEAD: That pandemic sure was a blue

I feel you. Though I think you could reasonably split hairs and say that Christian was a TNA guy who never won the belt while it was actually called the TNA World Championship. Hypothetically. Not that any such conversation would be meaningful in any way. Anyways, take it easy

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

I thought we were differentiating, until I realized Christian won it while it was still the Impact World Championship anyways
  9. Santa Hoss

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

Oh wait, unless we're recognizing Impact World Title reigns as being TNA World Title reigns.. then nevermind.

Hmmm. Alex Shelley is in the conversation for me though. But Daniels definitely had a couple of windows where he was closer to main eventer than Shelley ever was while TNA was TNA.

I mean, idk. Rampage was still pretty strong in those days and Christian did do the job to Josh Alexander at BFG. I know some were annoyed that it wasn't Omega that lost it to to an Impact guy, but that's the cost of doing business I suppose.

NEW RING ANNOUNCER SET FOR IMPACT WRESTLING TURNING POINT DEBUT

Consider the source and note the use of the title "special ring announcer"

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

Personally I remember a lot of people starting to regain interest in Impact going back to at least Slammiversary 2018, and they continually gained traction with great PPVs from there. Omega coming over definitely made more noise with casual wrestling fans, and I'm sure earned them some lasting...

I would just describe it as the Impact Wrestling on AXS TV era and call it a day. Final answer.

NEW RING ANNOUNCER SET FOR IMPACT WRESTLING TURNING POINT DEBUT

This dude is probably only doing this gig for this special. I'm pretty certain of that, actually. Also who's going to tell him that TNA Impact wasn't a thing in 2002?
  16. Santa Hoss

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

Really I guess my disagreement more than anything is the label of "post-Omega" because if I was going to put a split in there, it would probably be more around at the start of the pandemic, maybe late 2019 even. They had lost the people they lost to AEW, they revamped the logo and presentation...

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

I don't personally see it. They lost swaths of people when AEW opened. They didn't actually lose that many significant people in 2020. Basically just Tessa and people who were swept up in the speaking out movement. And they had other big shifts in the roster since then with WWE budget cuts and...

    TNA Rebrand Discussion Thread

I would personally encompass all of D'Amore's run as the head/co-head decision maker into one era. So basically, 2018-2023 all one era in my mind. Even with plenty of roster turnover still taking place, the overall vibe remained pretty consistent and there were never any big "resets". Guys like...
