    Yeah, I definitely would say 70s but it feels more early 70s than late 70s so there’s a little bit of a mixture probably between the end of the 60s and the early 70s.

    Just the fact of the history of what a war games even is in real life and the fact that the match itself kinda resembles it just makes it a perfect match.

    I think blood and guts would be a great pay-per-view name, but wargames is definitely as perfect of a name as you can get.

    Yeah, having the stretcher involved and having to put them in the Ambulance, definitely gives more meat to the bone of the match.

    I will say I think branding is really important if you can come up with an alternative that sounds as good and works for your branding. That’s preferable just so not everyone says the same things.

    Yeah, that was my thinking too was like if there’s like an actual structure attached to it then it’s different which is why no companies ever done an elimination chamber, for example.

    Oh, I feel that too. There’s very few ambulances matches I really point to as good matches. I will accept them if it’s good for the story just because I do like variety in my wrestling, but it’s 100% better than the stretcher match for sure.

    To be fair that version of the match is a little bit better and I don’t think they should really do the traditional stretcher match anywhere anymore. Just wheeling them up to a certain line on the ramp is so anticlimactic at least with an ambulance, you have to fully load them in and shut the doors.

    Oh for sure I mean that’s what happened with black reign and he was completely out of it but I didn’t think he had quite hit that bad in 99 yet though. This is before he comes back in 2002 and does his good work with Booker T.
