    Alien: Romulus (2024)

It's very much a Jeunet film, and I appreciate the fact that he made his movie within the Alien universe. I just think Ryder is very off putting and kind of takes me out of a lot of the movie. I can buy everyone else as their character, but for some reason I just see her as Winona Ryder...

    The Monkey(2025)

I got a pair of tickets to see Longlegs plus a Q&A with Perkins and a sneak preview of this movie on the 25th. I thought Longlegs was pretty underwhelming minus Cage's zany performance, but I'm willing to sit through it again to see a bit of one of my favourite King shorts adapted.

    Looch’s BOTS stats

These stats are killer, particularly when you're doing well! I didn't realize I'd gotten off to such a hot start so I'm sure it's all about to come crashing down.

    Booty’s Alphabetic 80’s Movie Challenge

Before we get started, there has long been the question as to whether this movie is a remake or a sequel to Sam Raimi's original classic. Though every fiber of my brain tells me that it's a loose remake, my personal head canon says that it's a sequel and Ash, being Ash, just completely forgot...

    Alien: Romulus (2024)

Having seen this twice, I think it currently sits near the middle for me. My rankings would be... 1. Alien 2. Aliens 3. Alien 3 workprint 4. Prometheus 5. Romulus 6. Resurrection 7. Covenant 8. Alien 3 theatrical I do think it might fall below Resurrection when I re-watch them both, but...

    Booty’s Alphabetic 80’s Movie Challenge

Hello. My name is Fuji, and I am NOT a Michael Caine fan. I can count on one hand the movies I enjoy his performances in, and one is Jaws: The Revenge, solely because he isn't in it long enough to annoy me. Though my disdain for him is greater than my desire to procure a copy of Gray's Sports...

Before we begin, I feel it pertinent to mention that the DVD cover I posted does indeed say "these CAPS". I once bought a copy of this movie from a Chinese mall solely for that grammatical error. Imagine my confusion when I realized that it wasn't an error and was greenlit for the ACTUAL DVD...

I thought the due date was September 12th for some reason, sorry. I'll catch up on this one before the week is out and post my review.

    Booty’s Alphabetic 80’s Movie Challenge

True story time, folks. When I was a kid, browsing the aisles of the video store, Clue never really stood out to me. Not because I was spending way too much time in the horror section or trying to sneak a peek at the dirty movies, though. It just never seemed like a movie that I wanted to...

    Booty’s Alphabetic 80’s Movie Challenge

Before we begin, I just want to point out that this movie, made in 1985, was the SEVENTH film based on the 1902 novel by George Barr McCutcheon. That may seem excessive, but a remake every 11 years actually seems pretty tame by the Hollywood standards of modern times, where in 2013 White House...
