    Daffney took a bump on thumbtacs! Show me another Barbie that did that and I'll show you a faker! Still, the best knockout in TNA is Tara. She's should be the standard bearer for them the way Gail Kim was.

    ^^^No doubt. Those two blew almost every mania before it out of the stratosphere. Only 23 came close for me because of the "all grown up" theme.

    If anyone must know, I really wanted to think of a topic that would make people go... what? It worked a little but I apologize if it made anyone think I was a doofus. It was just an attempt to get members to talk, nothing more.

    ^^^What about mania x7? The only match that was lackluster was the six man tag with APA/Tazz vs. RTC. But it was still exciting because of atmosphere. Rock vs. Austin II was a classic for all time.

    ^^^Look, the Attitude era sucks in hindsight. The quality of the undercard is abhorrent. Austin could wrestle, Taker could wrestle and Foley was always reliable. That's it. Crash tv made all of us fans look like mouth breathing morons.

    ^^^Right on! Brand only ppvs were great! They also made the big ones like mania and Summerslam feel more valuable and special. Both "promotions" joined together and produced something that felt epic in scope.

    Since 1986, yours truly has enjoyed pro wrestling. 31 isn't old in the grand scheme of things but it's ancient in here. It's ok. This is my guilty pleasure and release from all the stress of the world. My earliest memory is Hulk Hogan vs. King Kong Bundy at Wrestlemania 2 on closed circuit tv.

    ^^^As soon as I can I'll rep you for that!! I watched MSG in high school and I know EXACTLY what you're talking about. Clash of the Champions was the fuckin shit!! Truth- I grew up poor and that stuff used to make my day. Bischoff had a great idea to run ppv's every month to fight WWF...

    I'll always be excited for Wrestlemania. Like I said in another thread, Wrestlemania is bigger than any one match or superstar. I love it!

    ^^^That would be an all star match but I'd rather seen MVP vs. Cena just for something fresh.

    ^^^I thought the entrance ramp was pretty cool. WCW used something similar in the early 90's. It looks good on tv but it takes away from the fans a little bit.

    ^^^They would've been a great team in TNA. A feud with Beer Money could have meant something special. It's because of TNA that WWE decided to make tag team wrestling matter again.

    Great thread! I think the only real star from the Attitude era was Austin. Everyone else was already a star and was amplified by this or got bigger after the fact, (see HHH).

    ^^^Night of Champions should be a free tv show. It's a good idea but it never seems strong enough to get me to plunk down 40 bucks.
