  1. Are you serious? (Decided to watch TNA tonight)

He gets those pops based on the fact that he's on the top of the card and what he's doing is important relative to the show (then stop caring until he's about to hit with one of his cool finishing moves, which are actually over), unfortunately nobody cares enough about him enough to pay for...
  2. Are you serious? (Decided to watch TNA tonight)

Orton isn't a draw in any way shape or form. Not ratings, buyrates, merchandise, house shows, not as a heel, face, tweener, announcer, GM, commissioner, VP of something-or-other, nothin'. Never has been. Santino makes more for the company than he does. On a TNA note, I just saw The Pope in...
  3. Some news: Kong to WWE? Cole learning the ropes and some other stuff.

Kong should be interesting. I wonder if they think a female Goldberg is the way to take the women's division to at least somewhat legitimacy. I'd give them credit for trying anything though. Vince thinks having the announcer be one of the top heels in the company isn't a problem? Okay. Him...
  4. My dear legends...

    Hey, James...fuck off. D:
  5. RAW 28/12/2010

I don't like Miz either...at all. But he knows exactly how to make WWE's audience hate him. Nobody cares about his matches because he's so weak and not a good enough wrestler to make people invest in him that way. His strength is getting his heat back after his matches. He's probably the best...
  6. Are you serious? (Decided to watch TNA tonight)

I don't see much difference between TNA and WWE programming to be honest, besides WWE having production aces whereas TNA's are likely drugged up half the time. Each's product is bad in different ways. TBF they don't interest me as much, so perhaps if I cared more about looking at everything each...
  7. Taking a chance with Mania

And for the record, your point is true. Saying he doesn't have what it takes to do anything we've been talking about based off of 25 alone isn't really fair, so i'll go ahead and retract on that. My perception of him otherwise could be totally wrong, he could come back, fresh and more well...
  8. Taking a chance with Mania

Yeah, you make a good point when you say he can't draw since nobody else can. (As mentioned in my original post that it truly doesn't matter who main events.) But anyway, I wasn't even attacking Trips specifically, someone listed a bunch of names of who can carry a ME WM match, and I said...
  9. Taking a chance with Mania

When did the main event change from being at the end of the card? LMAO, the last match on the card is always presented as the most important, and generally what sells the shows. With the exception of WM24 anyway. I'd check back into reality before claiming my argument's weak if I were you. And...
  10. 2010 Spammy Nominations

*Consoles Enzo over these devastatingly traumatic developments*
  11. RAW 28/12/2010

Nah, I think Otunga was so bad that the crowd kept booing when I think he was looking for a face pop. And yeah, Otunga has forced charisma, don't like him. He's so green as a wrestler and an actor though, it's not fair to write him off yet. I just hope they don't try and turn him face again...
  12. 2010 Spammy Nominations

I just needed someone to throw in to get Lennie in as underrated. No disrespect, brother. Good line though. ;D
  13. Taker! Brock! WWE! UFC! Speculation!!

Disastrous sounds more dramatic than mediocre to average. >_> I still stand by what I said about Brock/WWE though. They don't have much without Brock this year for 'Mania that will get a positive mainstream buzz.
  14. Taker! Brock! WWE! UFC! Speculation!!

My thoughts are for one, we agree on Dana White being a carny promoter. ;D Secondly, why would Lesnar not do the job? He doesn't care about his WWE reputation, and the UFC fans already know it would be a work. Lesnar wouldn't suffer at all, Taker's streak would live on, he'd get to set up a...
  15. WILD Wrestling News

Do the Young Bucks really have a female cousin who wrestles?
  16. Taking a chance with Mania

HHH ME would produce a minor bump in a buyrate, but with a young guy in down the line, putting him in such a position wouldn't be worth it in the long run with the amount of money they could make 1, 3, 5 years from now on a younger guy. Every one of your matches except Trips/Jericho weren't...
  17. RAW 28/12/2010

There goes my hope of them actually following through on the reveal of the higher power. And them booking Punk promising to kill Cena pretty much just to hit his finisher and leave. I didn't like it. But it breathes new life into Nexus and should be a pretty intriguing feud all in all. Bad...
  18. Taking a chance with Mania

Thing is, there has to be a time for a new guy to come in. Yeah, Del Rio, Sheamus, Miz, whoever may not be able to carry anything but why not them? The only guy who's shown he's any semblance of being a true WM main eventer are Cena and 'Taker. Trips? 25 proved he doesn't have what it takes...
  19. Lets take a test

Cassadee's def top 5 material if not for ugly arm tat. :(
  20. Are you serious? (Decided to watch TNA tonight)

Yeah, it was gay. Another thing that I hated was I actually appreciated it being a 15 minute match, since every TV Title match should have a 15 minute time limit. Once they added another 5 on though, it was obviously just Russo booking at it's worst to have such a short Ironman match. :nonono:
