When it comes to Marvel, Rick Remender is their best writer. I loved his run on Venom, Secret Avengers, & Uncanny X-Force, and his current run with Uncanny Avengers is the best I have seen him. He does a few things that remind me of Grant Morrison, like trying to utilize the entire backstory...

He can make people see what he wants them to, and its powerful enough to deceive telepaths. Being a fan of Age of Apocalypse when I heard that Uncanny X-Force was returning for The Dark Angel Saga I started picking up the graphics. Every character winds up with a story just for them, like...

I actually didn't notice much of a change from what Dillon had already established, mainly Red Leader & Ross looked exactly the same. Uncanny X-Force gets pretty crazy with the Akaba, & Apocalypse lore that is now being used in Uncanny Avengers.
  4. Scooby Doo vs. Pinky and the Brain

How would you feel if Raw was actually that cut & paste week in & week out? I have been on forums long enough to know that if even one small piece of a storyline from 20+ years ago is being reused it gets shit on by the majority of the members.
  5. Movies That Revolutionized Their Genre

Yeah, I will agree that it helped influence everything that came after it that fits into any horror sub-genre, as it did help to introduce a lot of the things that are still done in any half decent horror movie, like effective lighting, camera angles, sound effects, & soundtrack. But when I...
  6. Movies That Revolutionized Their Genre

I personally don't consider Psycho as a slasher, since the staple for them is typically over the top gore. Hitchcock was more about the using the ambience to scare his audience.
  7. Movies That Revolutionized Their Genre

Try 1974 with The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.
  8. Movies That Revolutionized Their Genre

Night of the Living Dead: Just about every zombie anything that came after it used the same basic rules G.A. Romero created. I Spit On Your Grave/Last House On The Left: Both were very important in bringing the strong female leads into horror.
  9. Scooby Doo vs. Pinky and the Brain

Wasn't Korn a South Park episode?
  10. Scooby Doo vs. Pinky and the Brain

Was that the one with Simple Plan doing the opening theme? If so, I couldn't get past the opening.
  11. The Walking Dead Official Discussion

My only issue with that is the prison group knowing that Phillip & his most trusted men would be at the meeting point, and didn't even come up with a plan of attacking Woodbury at that time. They didn't even need to do anything to divide the forces, and could have severely hurt the community...
  12. Scooby Doo vs. Pinky and the Brain

There may have been Scooby movies at the time, but Warner Bros. was not working any new episodes. They were too busy with Animaniacs, Freakazoid, P&TB, Batman, Superman etc. And the new Scooby show actually deviates from the originals pattern(which is the series I have the most issues with...
  13. Scooby Doo vs. Pinky and the Brain

But Scooby had the exact same storyboard for every episode, with Location & Supporting Cast names being all that really changes. That is my point. Pinky & The Brain had more than just the same Lather, Rinse, Repeat. Included minor educational tidbits, which is something that cannot be said...
  14. Scooby Doo vs. Pinky and the Brain

In Scooby it was always Kids arrive at some random place, meet some creepy dude who will be the guy when the "ghost" is unmasked, some lame trap that leads to the 10 door gag, followed by "and I would have gotten away with it..." Each episode of Pinky & The Brain may have started & ended with...
  15. Sean “X-Pacâ€￾ Waltman Hospitalized After Splitting Anus Open on Botched Bronco Buster

Re: Sean “X-Pacâ€￾ Waltman Hospitalized After Splitting Anus Open on Botched Bronco Bus LMFAO, Sure it was a spot in the match, not something that happened in the hotel room.
  16. Greatest Video Game of All Time

Submitted my first ever list for nominations.
  17. Stuff I Played: Sleeping Dogs

Best part of the casting was Robin Shou(Liu Kang from the Mortal Kombat movies, Gen in the newest Street Fighter movie)
  18. Round 2: Quadrant 6 Matchup 2

Simply because of how I personally feel about excessive flipping & spinning in a high risk finisher I voted for the Stunner. Look at Eddie & Savage, simple high risks that were executed to perfection to be flashy, that's all it needs.
  19. What does your Username mean?

I am a fan of Troma movies.
