I suppose it depends on whether you rated Matt before this 'event' anyway. I didn't so the concept of the ball being dropped with him doesn't wash with me. Good point actually though I wonder whether the impact would have been quite as large because the show surely had to be TV-14 or whatever still at that point? Sheamus = special talent. Got the 'it' factor completely but a lot of the credit for his rise has to be handed to the high profile of his feuds.
