  1. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! http://www.ebay.com/itm/PWG-Sells-Out-Volume-3-DVD-Pro-Wrestling-Guerrilla-Daniel-Bryan-WWE-Kevin-Steen-/360510379793?pt=US_DVD_HD_DVD_Blu_ray&hash=item53f017d711 Boom. And don't give the excuse it's not worth getting since you don't watch the indies. If you buy...
  2. Review the Last Wrestling Match You Watched

Shinya Hashimoto vs Shinjiro Otani - Zero 1 - December 24, 2003 I have to question a man's sanity when he purposely tries to piss off Hashimoto. You either have a death wish or you just like to watch the world burn. This was your standard tough man contest where the little Otani has a bad case...
  3. Review the Last Wrestling Match You Watched

Hiroyoshi Tenzan vs Yuji Nagata - NJPW - January 4, 2001 Gotta say, I dig the stage. It reminds me of the old late 80's WCW PPV sets. It's very basic, but it's very rock concertesque. This was a hard hitting match where most of the story is built around Nagata working over Tenzan's leg to set-up...
  4. Jeff Hardy - Rooftops

That's literally the same video that's posted in the first post.
  5. Jeff Hardy - Rooftops

Looks like all they did was add in extra footage after his 2006 return. Hmm, I went looking for the video, but I couldn't find it. I did find the Desire video from 2002: JRzE7AriwIo Maybe I was confusing the two. Personally, I prefer the original 2002 one with "Not Enough". Lost...
  6. The Official Upcoming Wrestling DVDs Thread!

Re: Wrestling DVD's Thread! Wait, you turned down getting PWG Sells Out Vol. 3 for a couple of lame DX DVD's?
  7. Jeff Hardy - Rooftops

Well, I got to hear this. How is a guy that's been in prison, been busted with drugs, had and blown a million different changes, and failed drug tests considered a role model?
  8. Jeff Hardy - Rooftops

Wait wait wait. Jeff Hardy is a role model?
  9. Jeff Hardy - Rooftops

Five years? I remember the original version airing back in 2002.
  10. Classic Wrestling Match Spotlight #1

Magnum's selling is good, but his babyface fire is off the charts.
  11. The Greatest Tag Team of the last 30 Years Round 3

    1. The Rockers - The Rockers got good matches out of everyone. Dudleys had some good moments, but they had more bad than good. 2. The Road Warriors - I really didn't think I'd vote for the Road Warriors again, but they're up against a team that was good together for a year. 3. Rock 'n' Roll...
  12. Review the Last Wrestling Match You Watched

Chris Benoit (c) vs William Regal - US Title - Velocity - October 1, 2005 Taking place eight days before No Mercy. This is a rematch to their MOTYC on Velocity a few months back. Benoit controlled the early going by destroying Regal with some close contact headbutts. In the corner, Benoit CHOPS...

WWE No Mercy October 9, 2005 The Legion of Doom and Christy Hemme vs MNM This feud had been going on for the entire summer when someone got the bright idea to create a new LOD to help market the Road Warriors DVD. Going into the match, Road Warrior Animal had an injured shoulder. Smartly, MNM...
  14. What is your favorite entrance theme.

The only theme songs that have ever mattered: Demolition (2nd theme) 4aS1Xfb6ckE The Rougeau Brothers fV0JgVnpN8Q The Mountie (2nd theme) Jc75sS6ya40 Rick Rude (Last WCW theme) 316ZRZLAzDM Slick's Jive Soul Bro Vnic2K2kkbI --- Anyone who claims there's a theme song in the...
  15. What is your favorite entrance theme.

Maybe 1/4 right. *Insert witty smilie*
  16. What is your favorite entrance theme.

I don't believe Windham and Rotunda ever got around to using it first though. For WWE themes, Hogan was rocking "Eye of the Tiger" for a couple of years before he got his hands on Real American. I know US Express used "Born in the USA" though.
  17. Classic Wrestling Match Spotlight #1

He was okay. He had his good moments and his bad. Koloff was involved in some really great matches over the years. Of course, he played a role in the Dangerous Alliance vs Sting and friends feud that was easily the best part of pro wrestling in 1992. His time with Ivan Koloff was rather good...
  18. Classic Wrestling Match Spotlight #1

It's too tough to say. JCP was literally about to change in a huge way within the next two years. About a year after this, there's the UWF sale with a bunch of new guys coming in. A few months after that, you had Sting's breakout match at Clash of the Champions. Two years after this match, JCP...
  19. Classic Wrestling Match Spotlight #1

Nikita Koloff (c) vs Magnum TA - NWA US Title - 2 out of 3 Falls - World Wide Wrestling - September 13, 1986 While watching this, I can't help but think of All in the Family's theme song. These truly were the days for the US Title. These two had just came off of their Best of 7 Series and you...
  20. Greatest Tag Team of the Last 30 years Round 2 Part 1

I can think of a match off of the top of my head that I enjoyed from the Outlaws. They just weren't very good and unfortunately, they were together during a time when the WWE didn't have any good teams to carry them. That three way the Outlaws had with the Headbangers and D-Lo/Henry at Survivor...
