    Kenny Omega (c) v. Christian Cage

    AEW title match. I think it's kinda obvious that Omega will retain especially following the AAA title retention, but I do think that these guys without the restriction of TV can have a great match. I just hope Christian works on his cardio, Omega ran his ass into the ground last time.

    WWE wants to start producing their own talent again. I understand the initiative, but really it never works. Nobody can be successful in wrestling by learning to play a part. Unless WWE starts loaning their PC graduates to ICW, Progress and other American promotions, I see this failing horribly.

    Rate NXT Takeover 36

    That UK match is a MOTYC. Amazing match. The Main event wasn't that great, but it had the crowd into it and that added to that match. The 2/3 Falls Match was way too front heavy. The finish was nice tho. This might be the last event of this current version of NXT. 7/10 for me.

    The thing I loved about this was how simple it was. Pretty much no false finishes, no outside brawling, no cheating, it was a pure fight story with some of the stiffest wrestling WWE has ever seen.

    It’s nice to see AEW making Chicago their homebase of sorts. I wanted to go to one of their Sears Center shows since Hoffman Estates is in the middle of nowhere and easy to drive to.

    SmackDown couldn’t fill an arena with Mahal as champion, business picked up with AJ Styles. When’s the last time a big guy drew. The only time WWE has given a big guy the title was when they were already bonafide mega stars like Lesnar or when there was no crowd like Strowman.
