Okay then, time for a spitfire round of names:

Loki (Marvel Cinematic Universe) - He's a villain who has, as of 2025, managed to redeem himself and become something of an agent for good, despite the sins he committed in the past. Textbook Definition of The Second Circle of Hell (Mildly Sociopathic).

Kane (WWE) - Textbook sociopath. Attempted the murder of his half-brother multiple times, performed testicular electric torture on a man, sexually abused Lita, and killed Zack Ryder's push. Hard to deny Kane belongs in The Fifth Circle of Hell (Sociopathic).

Deadpool (Marvel Cinematic Universe) -
Okay so he's an irreverent immortal fourth-wall breaking super hero. But he's also, y'know, a hero. While he has a grand time being an utter annoyance to some people like Wolverine, he outright cares about people, doesn't harbor hate for humanity at large, and doesn't want the world he inhabits to die. He is a victim however of his own hubris and irreverence. Deadpool largely belongs in Purgatorio (Flawed But Good).

Jerry Seinfeld (Seinfeld) - Normal working guy who has minor flaws, and sometimes manages to get into trouble. Limbo (Flawed Neutral)

George Costanza (Seinfeld) -
Probably the guy with life taking the biggest dump on him. He's kind of a loser and seems to be the butt monkey of the group, and he does have areas of personality that is lacking in selflessness. So might as well put him in Limbo (Flawed Neutral)

Elaine Benes (Seinfeld) -
Pretty much the same as above, Elaine belongs in Limbo (Flawed Neutral)

Cosmo Kramer (Seinfeld) -
Kramer is a weirdo, but his character is relatively normal even if he has eccentric tendencies. Limbo (Flawed Neutral)

Howard The Duck (Howard The Duck) -
Okay, this one's a really left-field one, but going by baseline stuff, he gets into multiple fights, insults people to their faces, tries to use coercion to seduce a woman, but he also chooses to save the day in exchange for his last chance to return to his homeworld. So I'd probably put him around Limbo (Flawed Neutral).

Charlie Kelley (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - He's an acloholic, anti-intellectual, crazy man. He likely has Borderline Personality Disorder and Bipolar Disorder, which causes his occasional outbursts and tendencies towards confrontation. The Second Circle of Hell (Mildly Sociopathic).

Ronald "Mac" McDonald (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - Also an alcoholic. He has narcissistic tendencies throughout the series, he suffers from delusions of grandeur, and furthermore believes in a fictitious view of his skills despite his utter lack for them in the real life. Fourth Circle of Hell (Selfish).

Dennis Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - You won't believe it, but he's also an alcoholic. He's a narcissist who is vain, and wrathful. He hates being told he's wrong, and also uses a highly questionable and manipulative method of seducing women. Though he can be the voice of reason at times, he is also easily shaken or vengeful at any perceived slights against him. It's also hinted in the series he is either an assaulter of women, or even a serial killer, though it has never been confirmed. Dennis also has Borderline Personality Disorder, which he does not take aims to take care of, which affects his toxic behavior. Third Circle of Hell (Mildly Malicious).

Deandra Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) -
What a shocker, another alcoholic narcissist. Deandra is more openly vain and obsessed with looks. She has the delusion that she's prettier and more talented than she may be in real lie. She is additionally petty, and a lazy member of the gang. Second Circle of Hell (Mildly Sociopathic).

Frank Reynolds (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) - He has a consistent tendency to pull out a gun when he feels threatened. He's a massive alcoholic, a petty and vindictive soul, as well as having a history of illegal activities: Drug trafficking, illegal labor, and even working on Epstein Island. Frank of course isn't totally evil, but has a pretty cynical worldview and is quick to being provoked. Fifth Circle of Hell (Sociopathic).

Another spitfire round here:

Andy Dufresne (Shawshank Redemption) - An innocent man sent to prison until he escaped nigh-20 years to the day he went in. Maintained his innocence and is the victim of assault, but he's generally speaking a good man who uses his quick wit and cunning guile to work his way around the prison system. While he is accomplice to major crimes such as fraud and larceny, he's not a murderer, an evil sociopath, nor is he a guy who allowed his worst moments define him. Ultimately, I think Andy Dufresne is an extremely rare case where a criminal actually belongs in Purgatorio (Flawed But Good).

Sheriff Will Teasle (First Blood) - A massive jerkass who, in the movie, it's hinted that because he's a Korean War veteran, he feels jealousy for John Rambo being a Vietnam veteran, and therefore believes Rambo got more media attention and recognition for his sacrifices. While he's not nearly as horrible as his friend Galt, he on several occasions bullies, belittles, and psychologically tortures Rambo during his imprisonment. He indirectly, as a result of his actions, causes the great destruction that befalls Hope, Washington in the days that follow. The Fourth Circle of Hell (Selfish).

Handsome Jack (Borderlands) - He's the archetypical hero turned villain who becomes delusional of his own importance, and as a consequence, goes off the deep end. He enjoys messing with people he believes is lower than him, has committed several heinous crimes, murdered tons of people, and in essence is a psychopathic dictator of Pandora for the entirety of Borderlands 2. Perhaps worst of all is the torture and imprisonment of his own daughter for years. Ninth Circle of Hell (Irreparably Malicious).
Micah Bell (Red Dead Redemption) -
He's a ruthless criminal, government informant, sociopathic murderer, and a sadist with almost zero redeeming qualities. He's primarily responsible for the unraveling of Dutch Van Der Linde, and his actions lead entirely to the events of Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Redemption. It is with this in mind, that out of all the characters in the series, he is perhaps the absolute worst of the bunch. Ninth Circle of Hell (Irreparably Malicious).

Arthur Morgan (Red Dead Redemption) - This one is difficult particularly because it depends entirely on how the player acts within the game that defines his place. For the purposes of this listing, we'll go with his (very likely) canon version: the Good Route. Morgan fancies himself and his crew to be "Robin Hood" type characters, who steal from the rich and give to the poor (or in this case, themselves). He has killed lots of people in his many years in the gang, but in the good ending, he's also a man who has helped so many others that their lives are better for it. The most consequential is his saving of John Marston, the two who had such acrimonious relations throughout Red Dead Redemption 2. Morgan was a criminal, but one who had a soft side, and a general sense of good morality. Second Circle of Hell (Mildly Sociopathic).
Happosai (Ranma 1/2)
- He's a dirty old pervert who enjoys hedonistic behavior, being a nuisance, and also flirting with anything that moves. He's also a thief, a vain narcissist, and has committed human trafficking and false imprisonment. Fuck this guy. Sixth Circle of Hell (Malicious).

Andy Bernard (The Office) - He's essentially an average office worker, who has a selfish streak, but otherwise is polite, and a bit of a pushover when it comes to his superiors. He's got some anger issues, and has a tendency to be neglectful or abusive in relationships. Limbo (Flawed Neutral).
Conker (Conker's Bad Fur Day) -
He's an irreverent jerkass squirrel who loves fourth wall jokes, and generally just doing whatever he wants. First Circle of Hell (Mildly Selfish).

Thanos (Marvel Cinematic Universe) - Homie genocides half of Earth's population, all for power-hungry reasons. He fancies himself a god, and thankfully he's defeated before he could cause more damage to other worlds. Ninth Circle of Hell (Irreparably Malicious).

Frieza (Dragon Ball) - Similar to Thanos, Frieza is an unrepentant monster who knows what he is: A genocidal space dictator. Later in the series, he participates in a grand tournament to save his world, but this is merely for his own personal gain, which is to have one last fight with Goku. Ninth Circle of Hell (Irreparably Malicious).

Vegeta (Dragon Ball) -
Vegeta is a villain turned hero, who thirsts for battle, and generally is just kind of an asshole. Perhaps his biggest boons are that he loves his family (even if he sometimes doesn't show it), and he chills out as the series goes on and comes to want to defend the people around him. His biggest flaw is his pride and ego, though, which leads to him making terrible decisions time and time again. Fourth Circle of Hell (Selfish).

Krillin (Dragon Ball) -
Krillin's a pragmatic hero, who time and time again, is willing to jump into a fight knowing he's overmatched, if it helps his friends. He's the ultimate friend, and he never abandons them in their time of need. I'd go so far as to say Krillin is perhaps the most "good'-aligned character in all of Dragon Ball, even moreso than Goku. Paradiso (Flawless).

Master Roshi (Dragon Ball) -
Roshi is basically Happosai if he wasn't a total asshole and actually was a good person. Yeah, Roshi's a pervert, and that's probably his biggest flaw, but he trained Goku and Krillin everything they knew, and instilled an incredible work ethic into them. He taught Goku many life lessons, even if sometimes it was by disguise. Roshi is the essence of a great teacher, and a man who, despite his flaws, does his best for all around him. The old man still can jump into a fight and put on a decent performance. Purgatorio (Flawed But Good).

Gohan (Dragon Ball) -
Gohan is perhaps the 2nd most clearly "good-aligned" character in the series, but Gohan suffers from an extreme flaw of his, which is his pacifism in the early series. He nearly allowed Cell to destroy the world if it hadn't been for some deus ex machina from Android 16. Gohan is cursed by his gentle nature, to which he has to learn that fighting is not an evil, and sometimes is even necessary. Purgatorio (Flawed But Good).

I wouldn't change his placement, but I don't think MCU Thanos is pure power hungry. He's whatever word it is that describes when "I told you so" goes wrong bc that's his whole drive, to prove the fucked up and illogical idea he has on his home planet (which they rightfully do not attempt) would work on a massive scale.

He has all the power in the world to generate as many resources as needed for everyone to be comfortable bc the laws of physics don't apply to those stones, but he has to win an argument against a bunch of long dead people instead. Very small dick energy

DJango - Django Unchained
Clinger - MASH
James T Kirk

Stringer Bell - The Wire
Michael Scott - The Office

Django (Django Unchained) - He loves his wife, shoots criminals as a bounty hunter, and also kills a bunch of slaveholders. Ultimate good guy in my opinion. Purgatorio (Flawed But Good).

Maxwell Q. Klinger (M*A*S*H*) - Klinger starts off as the hot-headed Lebanese corpsman who wears dresses to try and convince others he's crazy and doesn't belong in the army. Despite on paper today sounding like something that could easily be offensive, Klinger's ploy to escape the Army is treated pretty matter-of-fact, with most characters knowing Klinger's plan and oftentimes complimenting him on his exuberant fashion sense. Klinger also tastefully contemplates his sexuality in one episode because he finds wearing dresses as actually soothing and comforting to him. He's not afraid to look like a fool if he thinks it'll help him get out of the Army. Ultimately though, Klinger commits to a great sacrifice for the sake of his newfound love life. When Klinger had an opportunity to finally leave Korea and go back home to Toledo, Ohio, he chooses to stay with his new wife to find her parents. It is therefore that I think Klinger belongs in Purgatorio (Flawed But Good).

Captain James Tiberius Kirk (Star Trek) -
Kirk goes through quite a bit of transformation over the series, where he is an extremely ambitious and daring Captain who flaunts authority if he feels it is for the greater good, but additionally leads his crew faithfully through the adventures of the USS Enterprise. However, Kirk's greatest flaw would be his inability to cope with death, and his belief that there is no such thing as a "no-win scenario". Kirk's multiple crimes, aside from blatantly disregarding orders, is his dereliction of duty during the Battle of the Mutara Nebula, which led to several crewmen dying, he later harbors an innate distrust and disgust for Klingons (partially clouded by the death of his son) that he has to work through. Overall, Kirk is generally speaking a good person, who suffers from his own vanity and singlemindedness. Limbo (Flawed Neutral).

Stringer Bell (The Wire)
- Let's see, drug dealer, money launderer, buys political influence via corruption, witness tampering, kidnapping, torture, murder, personally ordered the death of others, and also is a slum lord. Fuck this guy alright. Eighth Circle of Hell (Irreparably Sociopathic).

Michael Scott (The Office) - He's an incompetent boss who's a sad sack idiot clown, but ultimately not a particularly malicious person. He has his moments of kind-heartedness, and even incredible wisdom. Limbo (Flawed Neutral).
