I'm at work now (2:51 AM). So there's this customer who calls me at 1:18, saying he can't open his bed. I go his room, and try, unsuccessfully, to open the bed (I had never done it before). I propose him to switch rooms, and he says he needs a suite (he was with his son). I don't have a free suite, so I propose him two single rooms instead. HE was being very clear that he wanted a suite, but I had none available, and it took some time convincing him. I give the keys to him and his son. They both go to their respective rooms, and everything seems to be fine, right? WRONG-OH. He comes to me again, and he says he CANNOT OPEN HIS DAMN BED. I go to his room, try again, with a little more determination than the last time. Turns out, there's a little piece of metal thing that you have to remove before opening the bed. I ask them if they want to go back to their room, and the father does it, reluctantly so.
